Are there long lines in Paris?

For most the year, yes. The good news is that its easy to book tours or tickets in advance. This way you don't have to queue up. We offer many tours, all of which skip the line for tickets.

You purport to offer a premium tour which in fact you do not. Your business model is not working. You need to either go up market or down market. At the moment you are not delivering on your promises.

Our experience was amazing. This was our first time in France and our first river cruise. We really enjoyed the experience, our expectations were exceeded in every way.The Cruise Director, Danielle was really on top of everything and always available for questions. The dining was always delicious and perfectly portioned. The tours were very informative and the itinerary kept us on the go.

European Memories

I did the 22 day European Memories trip with my 2 children, ages 21 and 18. It was an incredible experience. Having been to Europe before, I had already been to the many of the major cities but my children had not. I paid for an extra day in Paris to start the trip. It wasn't that expensive and I'm so glad we did that as we got to see all of Paris on our own and had time to go to the Louvre. The people that arrived to Paris on the designated day and started the tour, did not get enough time to see most of the city and started out the trip frustrated. The hotel accommodations were fine for most of the hotels. I just needed a hot shower and comfortable bed. Having three people in a room, my daughter and I often shared a bed and my son had either a pull out couch or cot of some sort. Not always the most comfortable for him. Hotel breakfast in almost all of the hotels was wonderful. A nice assortment of hot and cold items: eggs, cooked mushrooms, tomatoes and bacon/sausage were the main hot dish staples and deli meat and cheeses were always the cold items along with vegetable and fruits. Always a coffee/cappuccino maker, juices and incredible croissants! The tour bus was comfortable and most of them did have a pay toilet, one euro. Note to travelers, always keep one euro coins on you as that is the typical cost to use any restroom throughout Europe. On long trips, rest stops about 2-2/12 hours in were the norm. They would stop at usual rest stops with pay toilets. You can use the receipts from the toilet towards a purchase then in the store, very handy! The guides that we had, 5 I do believe over the course of our trip, were great. Very knowledgeable of the history of the country and the city that we were about to visit. They would give their talk in multiple languages as well, often Spanish and English, occasionally French. When we were in Spain and we had 5 different languages, there were personal guides as well. Upon arrival to a city, the guides would walk us to the city main square and talk about the sights to see, where there was a grocery store, restaurants, etc. and then give us a meeting time and place, often back on the bus. In some cities, we only had 2 hours to see the sights AND get our lunch, which meant no sitting in a cafe for lunch, but more of a grab something from a store or bakery and eat while walking. Some days were very fast paced as we were seeing multiple cities in one day and there was not enough time to see the things we wanted to see before having to get back on the bus to get to the next place. A couple times we arrived out our destination at 8pm and still needed to get a dinner and we had to be back on the bus at 7:30am the next day. I did pay for a couple excursions. The Flamenco dinner was great and the meal was really good, it also came with wine and sangria for the table. The Windsor excursion was a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city of London. The morning bus tours of the cities were great because you got to see the major sights, and then if my kids and I wanted to go back and get photos, we knew where they were. Some cities we walked typically 10 miles in a day when we had the whole day in one city like Rome. It was nice to have the free time to do what we wanted. The weather was incredibly hot our last week, 99-105 degrees in Italy and Spain. Be prepared. I wore a sun hat and we used plenty of sunscreen and would fill up water bottles when we stopped at a cafe for a meal or at a bar for a cold beer. Also important for women to bring a scarf as you can not enter a church with bare shoulders. We were not told this until we were on the bus heading to the Vatican city and I was not going to spend money on buying something from a street vendor. Bring one from home and save some money. Overall, we felt safe. We did a lot of walking and sneakers were the norm. We met some neat people on the tour and ate some incredible meals from cafes to street vendors and with other people on the tour. You have to be patient, flexible and keep an open mind. In doing so, it will be the trip of a lifetime.

Oh it was incredible! Everything went so smoothly with no hiccups at all. We loved the hotel in Paris . It was a small hotel with a great breakfast. We also appreciated being close to metro. Our guide Anne was best of all. There are no words to adequately describe her contributions. Till the next time… Debby

What people love about Europe Tours from Paris

The tour is generally good. I wish though that more time are given to explore major places. Some places can be skipped already since there was nothing much to see.

All hotels were very good. The sights we saw were good. The bus had no bathroom. The guides were average. They were often unclear with their instructions, for example they say meet in the lobby at 8am, but no one is there and people are outside getting on the bus. I did like the interesting history one guide gave.

It was a great tour I enjoyed very much.

This tour was so fun and Hannah was a fabulous host! Her storytelling was hilarious and informative, leaving us with anecdotes to share with our friends for the rest of the trip. Even though the weather was not ideal (cold,rainy, with intense wind) Hannah powered through the tour finding us dry and low-wind places to talk, occasionally checking in to make sure we all still wanted to keep going. Highly recommend, regardless of weather!

This is an Awesome tour. Ganna is very knowledgeable about fashion and took us to all the right places. It was fashion week in Paris so that made the experience even better. Our Sidecars

Ural RETRO sidecar model

Inspired by the original Soviet M72 and its most recent incarnation, these 2014 bikes are just as robust, simple and beautiful as their forebears but have all the modern features modern riding demands: disc brakes and modern suspension all without losing those RETRO looks.

Our Equipment

You will be equipped with a vintage helmet Mârkö . Some helmet net are also at your disposal.

For sunny days, sunglasses are recommended!

WINTER (Oct-Fév.)

We recommend you to wrap up warm for the tour. However, we provide jackets. Also a warm blanket will be at your disposal in the sidecar for a maximum comfort.

When it does rain in Paris, it is often merely a light rain that seldom hampers a tour. We provide ponchos and gloves. The sidecar passenger has a windscreen and a waterproof cover.

A fun, informative and memorable normandy experience ! We thoroughly enjoyed the Great Escape tour. We were very impressed by the level of detail to visiting the historic sites and beautiful panorama views over Daeuville and Trouville, the professionalism and friendliness of the tour guides. We decided to do the early morning tour which was fantastic... no traffic or tourists on the roads. We were also happy with their covid parameters with cleaning the bikes, helmets and wearing face shields on the helmets. Overall, a memorable and wonderful experience!

An unforgettable experience with an unforgettable guide On a weekend to visit the beautiful city of Deauville and not knowing the area, we had the chance to board Paulette, our side car, driven by a bearded guide really passionate about the history of Normandy cities. It was a wonderful and pleasant moment that made us want to come back this time to discover the landing beaches. Thank you to our guide for his kindness and his culture which allowed us to spend a unique moment.

The Best ! What a unique and amazing way to explore Paris! I had the best driver who was aware, careful, knowledgeable and funny! What a fun experience! I would absolutely love do this again!

Tour on Motorcycle with Side Car of Paris. Took this with my husband sister and niece. The guides were knowledgeable of the city and it’s history. They were very flexible with the routes. For example the day before we did a boat tour so we wanted to do other areas. Felt very safe they navigated well and knew the roads well.    

Absolutely Wonderful from start to finish I honestly couldn’t say nicer things about this tour. It was hilarious and such a wonderful way to see Paris. Our driver was the lovely and patient Romain, who was so knowledgeable and fun. Our faces hurt from smiling so much. Would 1000% recommend this tour to anyone - even if you’ve seen Paris in all its glory before.

Paris - Christo: Die Verhüllung des Triumphbogens

Vom 18. September bis zum 3. Oktober 2021 wird das letzte Kunstprojekt des 2020 verstorbenen Künstlers Christo stattfinden: Die Verhüllung des Triumphbogens. Christo hatte die Verhüllung bereits seit 60 Jahren geplant. Es ist nach der Verhüllung des Pont Neuf bereits seine zweite Installation in Paris. Der gesamte Bereich des Triumphbogens soll während der Verhüllungsperiode frei zugänglich sein.

Reiseverlauf

Nach der Anreise in Paris werden Sie zur Stadtrundfahrt auf den Spuren moderner Kunst und Architektur in der Seine-Metropole erwartet. Natürlich dürfen die Champs-Elysées, der Eiffelturm, das Künstlerviertel Montmartre, Louvre, Galerie Lafayette und die Sorbonne nicht fehlen. 

Frühstück im Hotel. Anschließend Besichtigung des spektakulären Multimedia Kunstmuseums ´L´Atelier des Lumiéres in einer alten Gießerei. Die Werke der Künstler werden in Lichtspielen an die Wände projiziert. Am Nachmittag Transfer Richtung Triumphbogen und ausreichend Zeit zum Bummeln und Betrachten des verhüllten Triumphbogens. Am Abend Auffahrt auf den Montmartre zum ehemaligen Künstlerviertel rund um den Place du Tertre. Abendessen in einem Restaurant mit Musik.

Frühstück im Hotel. Anschließend treten Sie die Heimreise an.
