The 2019 season was a big success!
In Portugal the first event was fully booked with 144 players and in Pro Am the week after it was 200 players!
In Mallorca Senior Open there were 53 players from 13 nations and we had a new record with 7 women playing in the event! We moved to Hungary and the beautiful Zala Springs Resort, then off to UK and the fantastic Rockliffe Hall.
Then we spent the days just outside Rome at Fiuggi and experienced the great Italian hospitality with wine and food. After Rome, it was time to travel up to the magic summer light in Scandinavia and Norwegian Senior Open.
Then some fantastic days at the beautiful National Golf Resort in Lithuania After Lithuania, we organized SGTE Senior Open at Golf Club Olching which is one of the best golf courses in Germany.
We were on Sardegna, Italy at the fantastic Is Molas golf resort for the Is Molas Senior Open 2019 and then moved to Asolo for the Asolo International Pro Am. And finally we ended the season with the Tour final at La Cala Golf Resort in Marbella!

AUGUSTA, Georgia -- Along with the blooming azaleas and pollen-covered pines at Augusta National Golf Course, there are other signs that the 88th Masters Tournament, the first major championship of the season, is finally here.
Some of the best golfers in the world who have labored this season are making last-minute changes. Rory McIlroy , who will try to complete the career Grand Slam by finally winning a green jacket, visited swing guru Butch Harmon for help. Justin Thomas , who painfully missed the cut in a driving rainstorm in 2023, parted ways with his caddie, Jim "Bones" Mackay.
Defending champion Jon Rahm made the biggest change of all in December, when he jumped from the PGA Tour to the LIV Golf League. He'll be one of 13 LIV Golf players in the field, along with Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson , who were runners-up a year ago.
It is the first time in more than eight months that the game's top golfers -- from both the PGA Tour and the LIV Golf League -- will be competing in the same tournament.
Here's a look at the 89 golfers in the field, from the guys who can win to those who are simply trying to make the cut.

Power Rankings: These 10 Players Look Ready to Win the Masters
The 2024 Masters is here, and our model has identified the 10 players with the best chance to claim a green jacket. Here's the breakdown.
- Author: Jim Stracka
Welcome to Power Rankings, a weekly feature on SI Golf from our partners at KeyCompete . This week the PGA Tour drops into San Antonio for the Valero Texas Open, the final stop before the Masters. Here’s how our model sees this week shaping up:
2024 Masters Preview
The azaleas are in bloom and our focus is on Augusta National for the 2024 Masters Tournament. Designed by the legendary Bobby Jones and Alister MacKenzie, ANGC has been a theater of dreams since its inception in 1933. Known for its immaculate condition, strategic layout and iconic features like Amen Corner, the course requires a combination of precision, power and creativity. Its undulating greens, perilously placed bunkers and ever-present threat of Rae’s Creek are a pure physical and mental test. Here are the 10 players our model likes this week.
KeyCompete’s 2024 Masters Power Rankings
1. Scottie Scheffler (+450) - The reigning king of consistency. No 1 in the World and playing like it at just the right time.
2. Jon Rahm (+1100) - The defending champion . Powerful game, fiery competitiveness won’t go out of style. Repeat win would not surprise.
3. Xander Schauffele (+1600) - Balanced game and mental toughness make him as a serious threat. Three top 10s in his last four visits. Still chasing elusive first major.
4. Brooks Koepka (+2500) - Unmatched major championship pedigree and a couple of previous close calls here. He’ll be ready.
5. Hideki Matsuyama (+2500) - A past champion, and his precise iron play and calm demeanor are dialed in. Won the Genesis in Febrary and hasn’t finished outside the top 12 since then.
6. Rory McIlroy (+1000) - The pursuit of the elusive Grand Slam continues . Recent form and refined short game signal this could be the year.
7. Will Zalatoris (+3500) - Still early in his comeback season from back surgery, but has looked strong so far. Consistency will be key to his success.
8. Jordan Spieth (+2200) - Exceptional putting and course management could launch him right into the mix. Should be a thrill ride regardless.
9. Joaquin Niemann (+2500) - Unique blend of creativity, power, and finesse fits Augusta like a glove. Ready to step into the major-championship spotlight.
10. Sahith Theegala (+4500) - A rising star who seems to be building to something big. Fearless approach and adaptability make him a dark horse.
About Last Week
The 2024 Valero Texas Open will be remembered for the dramatic emergence of Akshay Bhatia and a playoff that ended in heartbreak for Denny McCarthy. The playoff was only one hole but it was theatrical, and Bhatia’s victory earned him an invitation to Augusta National for his first Masters.
KeyCompete had —dare we say—a masterful week, going 5-1 on our picks. Our yearly record is 62-45 heading into the first major of the year.

Ryder Cup star Ludvig Åberg , already a winner on both the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR having turned professional last summer, makes his Major Championship debut this week as does Japan's Ryo Hisatsune , while another rookie Matthieu Pavon looks to create more headlines after his history-making exploits on the PGA TOUR earlier this year.

Fantasy Insight: As it stands, Scottie Scheffler is the favourite for players of our Fantasy Game this week , featuring in 88% of teams. Other popular players include defending champion Jon Rahm (67%) and four-time Major winner Rory McIlroy (64%).
Viktor Hovland, who is yet to miss a cut at Augusta National in his first four appearances, is the fourth most picked player, featuring in 44% of Fantasy teams.
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Scottie Scheffler
Quite simply he is the best player in the world. Twice a winner already this year, including at The Players Championship last month, and with his worst finish this season a tie for 17th, it would be no surprise if he claimed his second Green Jacket, two years after his first.
The American is also one of just three players (alongside Hideki Matsuyama and Shane Lowry) to have finished in the top 25 at each of the last four Masters.
Statistically the strongest across a number of categories on the PGA TOUR, the 27-year-old will be a tough act to beat if he has a good week on the greens.
Form horse - Ludvig Åberg
You begin to run out of superlatives for the Swede. Less than a year on from turning professional, the young Swede is preparing for his first Major Championship appearance.
Labelled a "generational talent" by Team Europe Captain Luke Donald ahead of his Ryder Cup debut last September, Åberg arrives at Augusta National in fine form - he has three top 10s in his last six PGA TOUR starts and has finished no worse than a tie for 25th during that stretch.
A winner on both sides of the Atlantic, and now inside the world's top 10, could he become the first player since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979 to win on his Masters debut? He has certainly proven himself capable of rising to the biggest challenges before.
Wild card - Justin Rose
The former World Number One is not to be discounted easily.
While his results since contesting the Ryder Cup might not inspire much confidence, it is hard to find others who are yet to win the Masters with a more enviable record at Augusta National.
In his 18 appearances to date, he has six top-10s, twice finishing runner-up. In that time, he has also made the cut on 16 occasions, so someone who historically gives himself a shot at the title heading into the final 36 holes.
Looking back – Hero Indian Open
Keita Nakajima became the second Japanese to win on the DP World Tour this season at the DLF Golf & Country Club as he picked up 232 Fantasy player points, rewarding the near 12% of the game's users who had him in their team.

Who is Max Homa? The California golfer is on top of the 2024 Masters leaderboard Friday
Max Homa has his eyes on his first green jacket at the 2024 Masters Tournament , completing a 5-under-par 67 for the first round on Friday morning and beginning the second round with a birdie on Nos. 2 and 4 to tie Bryson DeChambeau at the top of the leaderboard at 7 under.
Homa, whose nine birdies lead the field currently, is ranked fifth in the Official World Golf Ranking and has five top-25 appearances worldwide in 2024.
While the Masters leaderboard will certainly change between now and Sunday, the final day of the tournament, Homa is dialed in.

Who is Max Homa?

Homa is a California native on the PGA Tour who won the NCAA Division I men's golf title in 2013 as a senior at University of California, Berkeley .
The 33-year-old turned pro in 2013 but struggled early, not finding success until 2019. He broke the seal by winning the Wells Fargo Championship for his first PGA Tour victory, and two years later he won the Genesis Invitational and the Fortinet Championship . In 2022, Homa won the Wells Fargo Championship for a second time and defended the Fortinet Championship , earning him a spot on the 2022 Presidents Cup team en route to a 4-0 record.
In 2023, Homa won the Farmers Insurance Open and earned a spot on the 2023 Ryder Cup U.S. team, finishing 3-1-1 and winning his singles match against Matt Fitzpatrick in a 16.5-11.5 loss to the European team. He took that momentum into winning the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa for his first victory outside of the United States.
The 2024 Masters marks Homa's fifth appearance at Augusta National. He missed his first two cuts at Augusta National before finishing T48 and T43 the last two years.

Pinehurst #10 opened last week. Want to play it?
Masters contender’s chest has 2 words tattooed on it. Here’s inspirational reason why
Matthieu Pavon hits his tee shot on Friday on the 11th hole at Augusta National.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Matthieu Pavon, should he need it, says he can just look down, toward his chest.
Toward his ink.
It’ll slap him back to reality.
This week, Pavon is playing the Masters , and in the 31-year-old Frenchman’s first appearance at Augusta National , he’s representing himself well. A first-round 70. A second-round 73. Entering Saturday’s third round, Pavon was five shots back of co-leaders Max Homa , Bryson DeChambeau and Scottie Scheffler . Big picture, he’s among the world’s best.
But there’s a backstory. Things aren’t always a straight path, and they weren’t for Pavon.
He turned pro in 2013. Battled chipping yips for a period. Debated quitting. Eventually incorporated the cross-handed method also used by 2022 U.S. Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick . Played on the Alps Tour and Challenge Tour, European-based circuits. Reached the DP World Tour in 2017. Then, Pavon believed he wasn’t playing well. He often complained.
After a trip to India, he said that was foolish.
Monday, at Augusta, in response to a reporter’s question, Pavon looked back on it. He said he needed to grow up. Grow up. He liked that so much he soon had those two words tattooed on his chest. In Indian.
“I wasn’t happy about the situation and the moments I had on the course,” Pavon said. “I went to that country, India. I saw some of the poorest things in my life. I saw kids almost naked in the streets having fun close to some water on the side of the road, having no shoes and stuff like this.
“And I was like, I really have to grow up, like stop being a teenager, stop complaining about everything, just embracing the moment, because I’m a very lucky person, and I think all the players so far really are. We are lucky to do this. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are still lucky to be healthy and have a great situation.”
She dug a hole into Augusta National. What popped out is why you love the Masters
Notably, on Pavon, that tattoo isn’t alone. Nor is it solitary in its inspirational message.
Back in January, when Pavon won the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open , some air time was given to ink on his right hand . There, his tattoo says this: “The saliva that flows now will become the tears of joy tomorrow”
And to whom is the quotation attributed? Pavon told the PGA Tour that the words came “from Harvard,” though the original source is unclear. It doesn’t seem to matter. It’s doing its job.
“It’s really a meaningful sentence for me,” Pavon told the PGA Tour. “And this is why I work hard every day, to get those tears back when I lift the trophy.”
Pavon said he often thinks about inspirational material during tournament play, including sentences he’s written down that help him stay grounded in the present moment.
“You know how it is on the golf course, sometimes your head flies away a little bit and you have to get back to the present moment to refocus yourself,” Pavon said back in January. “Sentences like they are telling me why I play golf, why I’m here. They show me — they give me a little extra confidence. I think it’s really keen in sports, the more confidence you get, the easiest it could be and those sentences are there for.”
