On Ilka Moor Bah’tat

On Ilka Moor Bah’tat (On Ilkley Moor without a hat) is a famous folk song. It’s the story of a guy who is courtin’ Mary Jane. He walks on Ilkley Moor without a hat. It’s very cold so he dies, probably regretting not having put a hat on that morning. His body rots and becomes soil, which the worms eat. Ducks then eat the worms, and the locals eat the ducks.
