The tourism and aviation sectors combined form one of the most exciting and fastest-growing industries globally. This course is designed to provide you with the theoretical background, skills and experiences necessary to become a successful leader within the tourism and aviation industry.

Normally an honours degree (2:2 or above) or a recognised equivalent qualification. We will consider enquiries from those who have substantial management experience but do not have the normal entry requirements. We may invite these potential students for an interview to discuss their particular background, experience and qualifications.

Hospitality, Tourism and Aviation courses

Our tourism and hospitality courses combine practical experience with academic understanding to help you succeed in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.

We work with employers to ensure you learn the skills you need. We are one of only three institutions in the world to achieve international accreditation from EPAS for our hospitality and tourism degrees. In the 2023 Guardian University League Table we are ranked 6th out of 48 universities for overall student satisfaction in hospitality, event management and tourism.

Practical experience is at the heart of our courses. Our students take work placements around the world, from Disneyland in Florida to hotels in Dubai, as well as major tour operators like TUI and Sunvil. And you’ll be joining a strong, supportive community, including student societies in both tourism and hospitality.
