We took this tour back in May 2017. It was fantastic!! This was the highlight of my vacation while in Singapore. We were picked up from our hotel and took off on a private tour. We had expected to be with a group of people, but having a private experience was so memorable. We got to ask all the questions we wanted and just felt super special by being escorted around an unfamiliar place.

We learned so much about the rich Malaysian culture. I am a huge history and economics buff, and Albert went over and above on teaching us the history of Malacca and Malaysia as a whole. Seeing the Straits of Malacca the busiest strait int he world was so cool! We also got to eat authentic food that I still crave to this day.

You will not be let down by booking this tour. So worth it! ASK FOR ALBERT AND CHRISTOPHER!!

Good driver Chris picked us up on time and got us to Malacca quickly. Albert our guide was knowledgable and friendly and gave a great commentary. The rickshaw ride was a good surprise and the meal was worthwhile. All in all an enjoyable time

My husband and I were the only individuals on this tour as others had attended the Friday. The driver and initial guide in Singapore were great as was the guide in Malacca but it felt rushed and we did not feel that we got a real view of what Malacca had to offer. The guide in Malacca did ensure that we received all the experiences we paid for. Lunch was superb! This tour is probably better in a group and not a small party but still worth doing.

Overall I enjoyed the day trip to Malacca but a few changes would've made it even better. I would have enjoyed longer to look around the town, rather than spending the majority of the time in the museums with our guide. I also would have appreciated an earlier stop to have something to eat and drink as we were picked up at the hotel at 7:00am and then didn't have lunch until about 2:00pm. Our guide was very knowledgeable but didn't seem to gauge how the group was feeling. I really enjoyed the trip down the river at the end of the day which wasn't originally included in the trip but I think it should be as it was a real highlight. Expect a long commute back to Singapore ... it took us approx. 4 hours so we didn't arrive back at our hotel until about 8:00pm. Overall definitely worth it though.

We took an enjoyable and comfortable trip to Malacca Melaka. It was interesting to learn about its history and significance of the Chinese, English, Dutch and Portuguese influence on Malacca's development. There are many places in Malacca to prove their presence. Food we were able to order for lunch at one of the local restaurants was tasty and at inexpensive. This tour is packed with activities and sites of Malacca. Our tour guide was exceptional, knowledgeable and friendly. The mini-van is a long way from Singapore - almost 4 hours each way - but worth it if you have only one day to visit Malaysia.

Excellent driver and mini bus, smooth ride and well looked after. The tour guide, Jimmy was knowledgeable, informative and well spoken, he showed us a side of Malacca that was attractive and interesting. Through his excellent guidance, the day was well proportioned and gave us a fabulous insight into the Malay and Chinese culture.

The trip is worth doing if you don't mind very long transfers 3 hours each way ! ! The guide was a lovey gentleman with a vast amount knowledge too impart in a short time

A very interesting experience with both the driver and tour guide being most helpful. It was a very early start but this was good as it avoided a long hold up at the border crossing from Singapore to Malaya - coming back was a different story as it was a Sunday afternoon and it took a very long time to reenter Singapore. Malacca was well worth visiting so overall a good trip. But remember to take some Malayan currency with you if you want to buy lunch or a souveneir or two!

Great guide in Malacca, very knowledgable and interesting history. Nice agenda of sights, museums, food and activities. Long ride but you can sleep in the bus. Did not realize the complex history of the region.

This resort is named after the famous fort built by the Portuguese to protect Malacca from invaders. A’Famosa Resort Malacca is set in a lush countryside with tropical greenery as far as the eye can see.

It is one of the region’s most sought-after leisure spots and it welcomes thousands of visitors every year. The resort is easily accessible as you will see the resort when driving on the North-South Highway.

Coming from Singapore, it is a four-hour ride from downtown Singapore including the time it takes to navigate through customs and immigration at the causeway.

Visible from the North-South Highway, A’Famosa Resort is a short distance away from the historical town of Melaka. It is just a mere hour drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and one and a half hour drive from Kuala Lumpur.

It is a famous street globally for its rich collection of authentic antiques, the cultural aspect and the architecture; most of the shop buildings here are from the 17th century which makes them several hundred years old.

Taylor Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, has broken the record for Spotify’s most-streamed in a day, the music platform said.

The pop singer also became the most-streamed artist in a single day in Spotify history.

Her album, released on 19 April, contains 31 tracks, which mostly detail her romantic travails – her experiences of love, loss and heartbreak. Only a handful of songs appear to break from this theme.

The first 16 tracks of The Tortured Poets Department dropped as scheduled at 5am in the UK. Just a few hours later, an additional 15 tracks were released to an extended version – The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.

Swift said the album was “an anthology of new works reflecting events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time – one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure.”

The post on X continued: “This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up. There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted.

“This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it. And then all that’s left behind is the tortured poetry.”

Swift’s song Fortnight featuring the singer Post Malone became Spotify’s most-streamed song in a single day. The lyrics describe an intense, two-week love affair that she says is “ruining her life”.

“I love you and it’s ruining my life,” she sings, “I touched you for only a fortnight.”

The album also contains tracks including So Long, London, which is thought to be about her ex-partner, British actor Joe Alwyn. Swift, who was with Alwyn for six years, had previously moved to London where he was living.

Another song from The Anthology called thanK you aIMee appears to spell out Kim, which fans have speculated is about recent hostilities with Kim Kardashian and her former husband, Kanye West.

Swift announced her 11th studio album live on stage at the Grammy Awards earlier this year, where she said: “All’s fair in love and poetry”.

The arrival of a new album means there will probably be new material to add to the star’s sold-out Eras tour, which comes to Europe in the summer.
