At Young Pioneer Tours we consider ourselves the experts when it comes to mega tours and travel.

We run a lot of tours to a lot of places, some of them are very short, but some are what we like to refer to as mega tours. What is a mega tour? To us it is one of our monster tours that goes to multiple countries over a long period of time, such as our famous Eurasian Adventure Tour and our Least Visited Countries Tours. These are mega tours, but more on them later.

Here’s our mega tours and travel options for what we hope will be glorious 2024.

Eurasian Adventure Tour

October 26th 2024-december 5th 2025.

The tour that has started Young Pioneer Tours international tours, our Beloved Eurasian Adventure has grown throughout the years to a legendary status. This tour, built in an hop on, hop off formula will take you through every single country that was part of the Eastern Bloc. It starts in China and ends on the other side of the world, in Poland. Memories of borsch on the Transsiberian train , shooting kalashnikov in Moscow and witnessing Communist Grandeur in Nicolae Ceauscescu ‘s former palace are sure to follow you for the rest of your life!

Middle East Mega Combo

March 25th-april 13th 2024.

With the recent opening of Saudi Arabia to non-religious tourists , the KSA has seen a surge in travellers. It has never been a better time for those who want to travel to every country in the world to visit the Middle East, as all its countries can be seen relatively easily. This new tour we have design does just that. Joining our group, you’ll be hopping around the Middle East, witnessing its common culture but also its nuances and contrasts. This mega tour takes you to Bahrain , Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iran all in one go. Shisha and kebabs feast incoming!

Least Visited Countries Tour

December 18th 2024-january 16th 2025.

Another tour where Young Pioneer Tours acted as trailblazers, our Least Visited Countries Tour is THE way to tick off the far-away and quite isolated countries of the Pacific at a decent price and in very good company. Run around the whole of the least visited country in the world, Nauru , dance in a kitschy hotel in Honiara, Solomon Island , fly over a volcano in an helicopter in Vanuatu and enjoy the good life of Tonga in the three parts of our epic adventure. Real Deal Tour

October 23rd-november 3rd 2024.

Young Pioneer Tours started with North Korea tours more than a decade ago, it would be an understatement to say that we are experienced with the country. With the time, we’ve devised what we believe is the most complete tour of the DPRK. This tour takes you to most regions of the country and allows you to experience most of what it has to offer. From the life of the higher-ups of Pyongyang shopping at Kwangbok super market to the rural life of the North Hamgyong province and the infamous city of Chongjin , you’ll really see it all! The real deal tour is truly the mega tour which will allow you to live North Korea to the fullest.

Horn of Africa Independence Combo

May 14th-may 31st 2024.

A long time classic of YPT, our first tours of Africa were focusing on countries that have come up on the radar more and more for the extreme travel community. We were amongst the first to bring you to the unrecognized nation of Somaliland, a breakaway republic where Somali culture is preserved in a much more peaceful environment than Mogadishu. This tour also takes you to Eritrea, which is really a time-travel experience as the country hasn’t changed much since Italian colonization. In both of these countries, you’ll spectate events related to their independence in the form of the military parade of the Somaliland Independence Day and the Mass Games of Eritrea . To make sure you get a real insight into the Horn of Africa, we’ve made sure to include Djibouti and its incredible natural phenomena to the combo.

Grand African Voyage Combo Tour

January 10th-february 20th 2024.

For those who want to delve deeper into the other side of the continent and visit West Africa this time, we have the Grand African Voyage. This mega tour allows you to flee the cold winter and experience the varied and vibrant culture of West and North Africa. The trip progressively takes you from Algeria all the way down to Benin. You’ll experience the contrast of this rich region of the world. From colonial era of Algeria, through the Sahara in an epic roadtrip including the ( Mauritanian Ore Train ) all the way to the voodoo rituals of Togo and Benin .

June 18th-July 9th 2024

A tour that gives you the most formidable insight into Korea, this classic of ours brings you to North Korea, South Korea and the Korean diaspora through the intriguing borderlands of Korea. This tour really ticks off the highlights of the Korean peninsula in a longer adventure which takes you through three countries. If you have less time, you can pick single parts of this itinerary and combine them as you’d like.

DAY 1 | ARRIVE IN IRELAND Saturday, October 12th

“Cead Mile Failte,” a hundred thousand welcomes! After clearing passport control, please claim your luggage to complete the arrival formalities. You will then exit through the Arrivals Hall, where your travel director will meet you and take you to your coach. Once settled, you will have a leisure day to enjoy the hotel and Dublin.

DAY 2 | DUBLIN Sunday, October 13th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Meet your driver and guide at your hotel at 9am. Next, we venture to Trinity College in Dublin to view the Book of Kells, an exquisite combination of intricate illuminations and Latin text. A 9th-century masterpiece, the Book of Kells is a unique insight into a rich part of Ireland’s culture for bibliophiles and non-bibliophiles alike. Learn how the famous medieval manuscript was created, explore a spectacular library home to more than 200,000 texts, and come to understand an ornate part of history.

Next, we depart to St. Patrick’s Cathedral. A stunning stalwart of medieval Dublin, St. Patrick’s Cathedral offers a rich cultural experience with its 800-year history. The largest cathedral in the country and one-time post of Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver’s Travel, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is a stunning work of gothic architecture, with its Lady Chapel, dating from 1270, recently being restored to its original glory.

Be sure to explore the building, stopping into the Lives Remembered exhibition and its specially commissioned tree sculpture in memory of World War 1. A true highlight is its choir, which performs during school terms and in the Lady Chapel. Following the cathedral, we will enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. DAY 3 | GLENDALOUGH & WATERFORD Monday, October 14th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Following breakfast, we are off to Glendalough. Known as ‘the valley of the two lakes’, Glendalough is a true escape from the rush and pull of Dublin. A hotbed for hikers and walkers alike, Glendalough is rich in history and scenery, with a restorative sense of tranquility. Make the short climb to the top and luxuriate in unfiltered views of swirling scenery and gentle lakes. While there, visit Monastic sites including historic churches, high crosses, and round towers dating back to the 6th-century.

We then venture to Waterford where we will enjoy lunch in a local venue. Following lunch, we will visit the House of Waterford Crystal whose wares are coveted by connoisseurs and collectors alike. Browse through the extensive showrooms with a chance to purchase a memento in the Gallery Store.

DAY 4 | KILLARNEY Tuesday, October 15th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Following breakfast, we will experience the true ‘spirit’ of Ireland in the Jameson Distillery, a whiskey museum and visitor centre, located in the historic Old Midleton Distillery in County Cork. A bracing piece of local history, you’ll have the chance to see the largest pot still ever built, take a walking tour past the old kilns, mills, maltings, and distiller’s cottage, see the micro-distillery in action, and visit a live maturation warehouse all washed down with whiskey tasting along the way.

Next, we are off to visit Blarney Castle, built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland’s greatest chieftains. Legend tells us that the Blarney stone situated on the grounds of Blarney Castle imparts the gift of eloquence to those who kiss it. Later, we arrive in Killarney, and enjoy the town on the lakes. It is renowned for its lively pubs and open, cheerful atmosphere, full of what the Irish call ‘craic’!

Our accommodations for the next two nights includes the spectacular architecture of this magnificent Victorian building melded with effortless service and genuine hospitality has made the Great Southern Hotel Killarney an iconic retreat for over 160 years. Originally opened as The Railway Hotel in 1854 & later named The Great Southern Hotel, stands proudly as Killarney’s Premier Historic Hotel.

DAY 5 | DINGLE PENINSULA Wednesday, October 16th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Today you are taken on a tour of the Dingle Peninsula, thrusting out into the Atlantic it claims Ireland’s most westerly point. Here majestic hills soar green and purple over vast bowls of unspoiled valleys, and glittering mountain streams which tumble down to lakes. Drive on to Dingle, a market town and fishing port.

Next, we are on to visit Gallarus oratory, Ireland’s best preserved early Christian Churches and a must see on any tour of the Dingle peninsula.

This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel. Drinks are payable directly.

DAY 6 | ENNIS Thursday, October 17th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. We will enjoy a visit to the Ennis Friary today. Here you will get to see a number of fifteenth and sixteenth century sculptures carved in local hard limestone as well as the ornate east window. We will get lunch in a local venue in Ennis. Please note that drinks are payable directly.

Following lunch, we will travel on to Galway, a thriving, bohemian & cultural city. The city is a joy to explore with its labyrinthine cobbled streets, colourful shop facades and busy café/ bar culture.

DAY 7 | CONNEMARA Friday, October 18th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Today you tour Connemara, a wild land of rocky mountains, sparkling brooks, and rivers. Stop at lakeside Kylemore Abbey, a castellated neo-Gothic mansion, occupied today by the Irish Benedictine community of nuns who came from Ypres after World War I. Continue on to Clifden, one of the prettiest towns in Connemara. Travel through bog land and villages and visit the Connemara Marble Factory and learn of the origin and uses of the area’s splendid marble.

DAY 8 | ADARE Saturday, October 19th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Today, we travel to the Burren, an Irish word “Boíreann” meaning a rocky place. The rough, intriguing and attractive landscape was formed 320 million years ago. A natural masterpiece, the Cliffs of Moher are a must-see for any trip to Ireland. Set against the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean, the Cliffs tower a striking distance above the sea.

Named a UNESCO Global Geopark, the Cliffs are best experienced on a walk or trek across the clifftop. Watch birds, study plants, and keep an eye on the water for breaks of dolphin pods or sharks. Come to know the myths and magic of the Cliffs of Moher with sights including the Tower viewpoint, the Aran Islands, and the Hags Head.

We move on to visit the picturesque village of Adare, which is billed as the prettiest village in Ireland with its thatched roof cottages and Tudor style houses. Lastly, we will enjoy a farewell dinner this evening at your hotel. Drinks are payable directly.

DAY 9 | FAREWELL Sunday, October 20th

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. You will be transferred to Shannon airport for your flight home.

DAY 1/ August 30 | ARRIVE IN ITALY Arrive in Pisa. Dinner with group or on your own at a nearby hotel.

DAY 2/ August 31| POSARA Breakfast at the hotel (or a box breakfast) and transfer to airport or train station for pickup by The Watermill at Posara for an Art, Cultural and Culinary experience. In the afternoon, a light lunch and time to settle in, explore the Watermill and associated gardens and nearby river. After an early evening aperitivi, will travel to the nearby walled Medieval town of Fivizzano and enjoy an introduction to Tuscan cuisine.

DAY 3/ September 1| POSARA After breakfast and a morning church service, there will be opportunities to enjoy painting and writing around The Watermill. Lunch will be provided in The Watermill courtyard dining room. Dinner will be served at the Watermill.

DAY 4/ September 2| VERRUCOLA After breakfast, the group will have a Bible study and then travel to Verrucola, visit an impressive castle with a village nestling around. Enjoy walking around the village and a short talk on the history of Verrucola. Enjoy opportunities to paint or write at Verrucola followed by lunch at Il Castello restaurant at Verrucola. Wrap up the afternoon with more painting and writing opportunities, returning to The Watermill for an evening Bible study and dinner at The Watermill.

DAY 5/ September 3 | FIVIZZANO After breakfast and Bible study, travel to Fivizzano to visit market day in Piazza Medicea and enjoy views over the valley and see Posara from Piazza Belvedere. Enjoy opportunities to paint and write in and around Fivizzano. Late pickup or afternoon stroll back to Posara to join an early evening Bible study and dinner at The Watermill.

DAY 6/ September 4| LUCCA After an early continental breakfast, Watermill staff will transport the group to Aulla station for a train to Cinque Terre or Lucca. Enjoy morning and afternoon sightseeing. Packed lunch provided by The Watermill. Bible study after return to The Watermill before dinner there.

DAY 7/ September 5 | IL CONVENTO DEI CARMINE This morning after breakfast and Bible study, you will be transported to ‘Il Convento dei Carmine’, a privately owned monastery. Picnic lunch provided at the monastery. Opportunities to enjoy an afternoon of painting and writing at the monastery with a late afternoon pickup to return to The Watermill. Join the Bible study before dinner at The Watermill.

DAY 8/ September 6 | MONTE DEL BIANCHI Enjoy a morning Bible study, then you will be transported to Monte del Bianchi. You can paint and write in the village of Monte del Bianchi and around the grounds of the Vecchio Tino restaurant. Ancient houses and church, spectacular mountain views, valleys, hilltop villages, and olive groves abound. Return to The Watermill for an evening Bible study followed by dinner at The Watermill.

DAY 9/ September 7 | FLORENCE Continental breakfast at The Watermill Transfer from Watermill to the Florence train station (within walking distance or short ride to hotel in Florence) for dinner and overnight.

DAY 10/ September 8| FLORENCE After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure. Dinner is on your own and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 11/ September 9 | FAREWELL Breakfast at the hotel (or a box breakfast) then transfer to FCO Airport

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. Im really disappointed as im sure you guys are too, but I will be back.”

Cudi said he was in “good spirits” and was just experiencing “a lil soreness.”

The artist had to cut his set short on Sunday after jumping off the stage saying in a post, “So I broke my foot today at the show. just leaving the hospital. Never a broken bone before so this is all a bit crazy. I wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes!! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big.”

Carin León Announces International Tour: ‘From Hermosillo to Paris’

Carin León will follow his history-making appearances at both Coachella and Stagecoach with a massive tour across the United States with stops in Europe later this year. On Thursday, the música Mexicana star announced the dates for his 2024 Boca Chueca Tour.

“Embarking on this tour is an exhilarating opportunity to share my new music with fans throughout North America and Europe alike,” he said in a press release. “Taking my songs and the vibrant essence of Música Mexicana to a global stage is truly an honor.”

After a performance at the Mid-State Fair in July, he’ll kick off his arena and amphitheater tour on Aug. 29 in Colorado, before making stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Nashville. He’ll also head overseas for shows in London, Madrid, and Paris.

It’s been an ultra-successful year for the musician, who’s successfully released crossover bilingual tracks in country and R&B over the last several months. Earlier this year, he worked with Keith Urban and Rosario on “Si Me Llevas Contigo,” worked with Kane Brown on “The One (Pero No Como Yo),” and dueted with Leon Bridges on “It Was Always You.”

Just a Few of the Biggest Concert Tours of 2024, from Olivia Rodrigo to Bad Bunny

Listening to your favorite musician at home is fun, but there's nothing quite like the experience of singing along with them, and tons of more fans, live. And as luck would have it, 2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for some of the world's top musical acts, so chances are your favorite performer might be stopping at a city near you soon.

Ahead, we rounded up some of the biggest concert tours of 2024, ranging from Taylor Swift's mega-popular Eras Tour to Drake and J. Cole's exciting It's All A Blur Tour - Big as the What?—set to kick off this winter. You can also expect tour dates from classic icons like Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

1) Taylor Swift

Undoubtedly one of the biggest concert tours ever, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour will continue right through 2024. The international leg of the tour kicked off in Japan, where she played four shows in Tokyo. She'll also stop in Melbourne, Singapore, Paris, Madrid, London, Milan, and more before returning to the States to play in the fall.

There's nothing like seeing T. Swift IRL, but don't fret if you're unable to nab tickets—the Eras Tour movie is now available to stream from the comfort of your home.

2) Olivia Rodrigo

This is not a drill—"Drivers License" singer Olivia Rodrigo will be hitting the road on tour starting at the end of February. The Guts World Tour runs from February through mid-August and has dates in Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and New York City, among others. Even cooler? Rodrigo will have a stacked list of special guests—like PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, The Breeders, and Chappell Roan—with her.

3) Red Hot Chili Peppers

Did you hear the good news? The Red Hot Chili Peppers have extended their global tour through summer 2024. The buzzy stadium tour, which kicked off in June 2022, will now run until July 2024 and bring the California-based band to places like Los Angeles, Tampa, Toronto, and Salt Lake City.

4) Bad Bunny

It's fitting that "Monaco" rapper Bad Bunny titled his tour Most Wanted —it's slated to be one of the year's hottest tours. Planned to help promote his latest studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , Most Wanted will kick off in Salt Lake City on February 21 and run through May 26.

5) Billy Joel

If you haven't yet seen Billy Joel perform live, there's still time! The Piano Man has added more tour dates to his schedule, stopping in cities like Tampa, New York, Denver, and St. Louis this year. Even more exciting? He'll share the stage with fellow iconic performers Sting and Stevie Nicks for some of these dates.

Mitski recently announced that she's expanding her North American tour dates , and we couldn't be more excited. The months-long tour, which supports her 2023 studio album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, has a long list of stops, including Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Paris.

There's nothing quite like a Madonna concert, that's for sure. The singer's Celebration Tour , which started last October, continues straight through the spring with dates in Seattle, San Francisco, Mexico City, and more. Besides her eye-catching sets, chart-topping songs, and impressive choreography, concertgoers also get a glimpse of the performer's fantastic costumes, which include looks from Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier.

8) Bleachers

The New Jersey-founded rock band, which is fronted by Jack Antonoff—known for producing albums for top acts like Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey—not only has announced a new album but a new tour , too. The tour will start in the UK in March, ending fittingly in the band's home state of New Jersey in mid-June. 9) Nicki Minaj

Nicki fans rejoice: the rapper and singer might be coming to a city near you soon as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The massive tour will include performances in Brooklyn, Oakland, and Baltimore, with stops at Dreamville Festival and Rolling Loud California along the way.

10) Blink 182

Live out all of your nineties and early aughts pop-punk dreams with one of Blink 182's One More Time Tour dates. The tour, which supports the band's ninth studio album, One More Time..., will bring the trio to cities all over the globe, including Sydney, Santiago, Portland, and Boston. The tour's supporting act is Pierce the Veil, which is also worth checking out.

11) Stevie Nicks

The oh-so-magical Stevie Nicks continues her touring streak with a bunch of 2024 concert dates . Set to begin in Atlantic City, NJ on February 10, Nicks will visit a dozen cities throughout the U.S. this year, such as New Orleans, Omaha, and Chicago. "Let's keep this party going in 2024," the singer-songwriter posted on her Instagram in September to announce the newly added tour dates.

12) The 1975

The 1975 is showing no signs of slowing down. The British band, famous for hits like "Somebody Else" and "Robbers," has extended their 2023 tour through 2024. Titled Still...At Their Very Best , the 22-date tour will open in Glasgow on February 8 and conclude in Amsterdam on March 24.

13) Drake and J. Cole

Rap greats Drake and J. Cole come together for the It's All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? which is guaranteed to be a good time. Drake, fresh off his 2023 It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, is set to hit dozens of cities starting in February, many of which J. Cole will also be in tow for. Scoop up tickets ASAP, as Drake's shows are known to sell out.

14) Janet Jackson

Superstar Janet Jackson is also extending her 2023 tour, Together Again , into 2024 with dates in Anaheim, Austin, New Orleans, and Hartford. Even cooler? Jackson's supporting act is the 2000s southern rap legend Nelly.

15) Rolling Stones

If you've ever dreamed of seeing the Rolling Stones perform live in person, now's your chance. The iconic rockers, who released their studio album Hackney Diamonds this past fall, are returning on the road for a 16-date tour with shows throughout the United States and Canada. Concertgoers can expect a mix of new tunes and Stones classics.

16) Bruce Springsteen

Famous for countless listenable hits like "Born to Run" and "Glory Days," Bruce Springsteen is set to embark on a massive world tour this year with his band, The E Street Band. The much-anticipated tour will take the Boss and his crew to cities such as Phoenix, San Diego, Dublin, and Madrid, from March through November.

17) John Mayer

Be sure to catch John Mayer's solo tour this year, which will bring the guitarist and crooner to cities throughout Europe. This leg, an extension of his popular 2023 solo tour, will kick off in Stockholm on March 13 and finish in Dublin on March 29.

18) Shania Twain

Okay, this one is technically a residency , but we're excited nonetheless. Shania Twain, most known for her incredible outfits (her hooded leopard print look, anyone?) and hits like "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is setting up shop in Vegas starting May 10. Twain's residency will take place at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on and off throughout December 2024.

All good things must come to an end. The Eagles, known for "Hotel California" and other amazing rock songs, began their final concert tour this winter. It launched in Phoenix on January 20, with March 16 as its last date in the United States. Eagles fans won't want to miss this one.

20) Alanis Morisette: The Triple Moon Tour

Alanis Morisette joins forces with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for their 2024 Triple Moon Tour , which has dates in North America and Canada. This tour is a great one to catch this summer, as it's slated to run from June through August.
