Specializing in curating craft beer experiences in many beer-loving cities around the country, City Brew Tours landed in the City of Brotherly Love in 2015.

The all-inclusive tours stop at some of Philadelphia’s and Southern New Jersey’s best breweries, including Dock Street Brewery, Yards Brewing Company and Roy Pitz Barrel House.

On each tour, attendees can sample different beers, learn about the beer-making process, explore behind the scenes at different breweries and more.

The Experience

Nearly a dozen breweries work with City Brew Tours Philadelphia , including Evil Genius Beer Company, Love City Brewing Company and Fishtown Brewpub.

Guests buy tickets online and receive their official itinerary a day or two before their tour in an email, which outlines where to meet the driver and the breweries featured on the tour.

Tours are offered daily and include samples of beer, behind-the-scenes access at multiple breweries, round-trip transportation, and a meal or snack at one of the stops.

Tour Details

The Original Philly Brew Tour runs on select afternoons, while the After Hours Brew Tour is offered on select evenings. On both of these tours, guests stop at four breweries and can sample up to 16 beers over the course of five hours.

The three-hour-long Sip of Philly Tour is a condensed version of the other tours and makes stops at three breweries, where guests can sample up to 12 beers overall.

Private tours with custom itineraries are available for corporate outings, bachelor/bachelorette parties and other special occasions.

From Grain to Glass

The Yards brewery tour gives thirsty guests a behind-the-scenes look at how Philly’s Beer is made. You and your friends will learn about the brewing process and hear the Story of Yards, with plenty of comedy along the way.

Beer sample, full 'walk-about' beer, guided tour, and free gift.

Guest Rules

Each individual may book up to 15 people at a time, and each tour allows for a maximum of 15 people bookable in advance. All tour guests must be 21+ years of age with a valid, unexpired ID. Minors and children of any age are not permitted.

Our Beer & Band Tour of Philadelphia is one of our most lively tours with musicians performing in between stops at breweries and beer gardens and rounds of Rock and Roll Quizzo.
