It will be the sixth time performing in WA for Williams, who is famous for hits including Let Me Entertain You, Rock DJ Angels and Kids. The latter was sung with Kylie Minogue and he recently invited her to sing it at the grand final.
“Kylie, please come and sing with me. I’d love it if you did,” Williams said, adding: “I cannot confirm or deny I will be singing a song that isn’t a Robbie Williams song. I’ll just put that out there.”
And AFL boss Gillon McLachlan did little to dispel the rumours when asked on Tuesday if the princess of pop would be hitting the stage with Williams.
“There is a surprise, that’s all I can say, and he will be joined,” McLachlan said.
Williams latest album XXV gave him his 14th No.1 record in the UK, a record for a solo artist — the only act with more is The Beatles with 15.
As part of his Australian tour, Williams will perform at A Day on the Green in Perth, Geelong and Mount Cotton in Queensland, as well as at solo shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 30.

Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting ROBBIE WILLIAMS tickets
Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.
Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance – Ticketmaster.com.au .
Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time
Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.
Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’
Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.
Keep an eye on the clock
There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they’re progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).
Don’t refresh your screen
Stick to one window while you’re in the Waiting Room and when you’re being pushed through the Smart Queue and always resist the urge to refresh.
Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.
Remember: there are a lot of fans
We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.
Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.
Robbie Williams returning to Australia November 2023. Tickets available via Ticketmaster.

LIVE REVIEW: Robbie Williams – A Day on the Green, Perth
Nikola estate middle swan, perth - 30th november 2023.
3 December 2023 Sean Bennett
Robbie Williams closed his Australian and New Zealand leg of his XXV World Tour with two sell-out shows at Nikola Estate in the Swan Valley in Perth. Much has been said about the chaos that surrounded the traffic management situation on the first of the two nights, so we won’t go into that other than to apologise to the support artists for failing to get there in time to cover them.
Due to the aforementioned problems, there was a delayed start but the expectant crowd were not to be disappointed, as Williams kicked the night off in spectacular fashion with ‘Hey Wow Yeah Yeah’ from 2012’s ‘Take the Crown’ album. Swathed in a black sequin jump suit and suit jacket, surrounded by scantily clad dancers and his full band (he never does anything by halves), Williams commanded the stage from the off. ‘Let me Entertain You’ has been a regular in the opening couple of numbers, with him announcing to the excited crowd, “My name is Robbie Fucking Williams, and tonight I am here to entertain you and take you on a journey. Are you with me?” before whipping the standing pit area into a frenzy… “One hand in the air… two hands in the air… and bounce…bounce…bounce!” We were off. A nod to one of the greats with Wilson Pickett’s ‘Land of 1000 Dances’ which had those in the audience that were still seated up on their feet, before an out of breathe Williams declared, “I’m fucked! We may have to do a night of ballads!”
During this tour Robbie had singled out audience members for various parts of the show and tonight it was Michael’s turn to be his victim. “You look like the kind of guy who gets stopped every time at the airport Michael. Let’s see if you know any words to my songs – we’ll start with an easy one Michael.” ‘Strong’ seemed to be one that Michael didn’t know but the crowd certainly did as the band swung into action. Williams ventured to the fabulous ‘Escapology’ album next for one of my favourites from his back catalogue ‘Come Undone’. He then proceeded to tell his story to Michael and partner Cathy, starting from the Take That days with the video to ‘Do What You Like’ showing a youthful band who were clearly aimed at the gay club scene back in the day – cue cheesy dances and bare bums. ‘Could it Be Magic’ continued the story, highlighting the first of the Take That songs he was given the lead on, before we touched on his sacking from the group and his now infamous drink and drug fuelled trip to Glastonbury where he hung out with the Gallagher brothers. ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ highlighted that weekend before the story continued taking us to ‘Back for Good’.
The recent documentary showed us the dark places fame has taken him over the years; depression, drink, drugs, insecurities… and more. Having seen Robbie live around nine times now I have to say this was the most relaxed I had seen him, opening up about the fact he is in the best place he has been in his entire life – it has been twenty-four years since his last drink, his marriage has lasted eighteen years and produced four children, so ‘I Love My Life’ and ‘Better Man’ were fitting songs to follow that with. I am always confused as to why he puts ‘Candy’ in the set list here in Australia, especially as by his own admission “it’s a song that was a big hit all around the world, apart from here!” Three huge hits followed with ‘Feel’, ‘Kids’ and ‘Rock DJ’ all receiving huge receptions and gave the lighting crew a chance to really show what their equipment could do! A wave and a bow meant it was the end of the main show, with the audience baying for more. And more we got…
‘You’re the Voice’ is an Australian anthem and one I always get a bit fearful of when I know it is going to be covered, but Williams smashed it out of the park, even including the live piper standing atop of the podium. “I hear he hasn’t been well lately, get well soon John.” Audience participation time again as Robbie headed into the crowd and singled out a woman to dedicate ‘She’s the One’ too, and tonight it was Argentinian Sophia’s turn as she beamed ear to ear as she was serenaded. ‘Angels’ is a goosebump moment for each and every crowd member and tonight was no exception, with the version being delivered similar to the rearranged recording taken from his latest album ‘XXV’, with strings added for an almost symphonic vibe. As the band left the stage we found ourselves alone with the man himself. ‘Let Me Entertain You’, ‘Better Man’, ‘Come Undone’, ‘Strong’ all delivered A Capella, as if to remind us of the night that had just concluded. “And through it all…” , the crowd sung the rest as Williams turned and walked to the back of the stage, removing his ear monitors before taking a final look back at the Perth crowd. Job done.

Live Review: Robbie Williams in Perth – 25 Years of Hits Australian Tour
A Day on the Green, Nikola Estate, Swan Valley – Perth on 30th of November 2023

The blue spectrum projects across the field of dream, carving a silhouette of the unmistakable, stylistic figure that stood high on a platform. The foreground is decorated with a bevy of dancers, mirroring the zest of the Solid Gold Countdown ladies of ’83. Following the opening number of Hey Wow Yeah Yeah , the mood shifts from the shadowy blue hues to the blinders of the key light, as he steps from the high throne of imperious glory. Fans from across the eclectic demographic are drawn into the explosive larrikinism of this character; the swinging arms, head, hips and feet, captivated by those eye-catching stares. The “f*ck yeah, I’m too famous” smirk on others would’ve drawn contempt; but under his watch, it’s called charm and sex appeal. After all, he’s not Cliff Richard. So the night continues to howl under the stars, punctuated by the shine of the full moon. The benchmark is engraved for a night of exquisite entertainment, scintillated by the rustic tenor of Robbie Williams .
Let Me Entertain You , he rhetorically pleads to the crowd of 15,000 on the green.
The last stop of the much-anticipated Australian, New Zealand 25 Years of Hits Tour has descended on Nikola Estate in Swan Valley, in the outskirts of Perth.
The track is arguably one of the most iconic openers to a live performance; a fast and furious curtain raiser to a night of pop and rock-esque. It was also a fitting number, considering the music video of Robbie Williams’ seminal solo features the artist in the KISS-esque outfit, culminating into the utter epitome of alter ego. The lad from Manchester is the ultimate show pony, with a stylistic bravado and countenance that’s quintessential Robbie.
The high octane machine halted on Come Undone , putting a break on the pace as we took our breaths and slowing the heartbeats. It was the “matured side” of Robbie, the alter ego within the alter egos, as he narrated anecdotes of the unbridled revelries of parties and the hungovers. To many, the track is one of RW’s best, and on stage, he cast a beautiful ballad of the new millennium, and the believability and honesty of this performance sparkled like it was meant to be – a lyrical narration on the purgatory of fame.
The show underlined the journey of Robbie Williams, with a scintillating cast of dancers marauding the story teller, and sonically enhanced by a full set of musicians.
He reminisced, “Mike and Kathy (Take That’s Managers) said, ‘Robbie, if you break another rule, we are gonna throw you out of the band’…and then one day after the third album, I thought, ‘I am now too famous for you to throw me out of the band, and I’m gonna break all the rules’…so off I left with a boot full of champagne and a pocket full of cocaine…and I went to Glastonbury.”
And so as the story goes, Robbie went to UK’s biggest festival to “hang out with a certain band” – Oasis. The night then slipped into the massive cover, Don’t Look Back in Anger . It was a sliding door moment, leading to a solo career as the entire crowd celebrated with him. Never has a chorus of a cover sung with a collective conviction.
The artist continued to revisit the early days of his shenanigans. “‘Robbie, we’d like you to leave the band today’…It’s OK, I got Angels and everything…so is fine…and I did, I left, and I left with my rocksack with full of anger, bitterness and disappointment. And I thought, I’d never see Take That again, until twelve years later, where they reformed without me, and they put on ticket sale, and they sold two hundred and fifty thousand tickets in one day. A year after, I sold 1.6 million in one day, but I don’t mention that. I would never say that publicly…Hey Perth you might know this one…”
Written by Gary Barlow – the lead vocalist of the boy band, the performance of Back For Good sparked old memories, as nostalgia poured and drenched the crowd with a vocal solidarity. Smash Hits 1995 is back and uni days rose to the conscious mind of this writer, with RW at the helm of the mic. It was the performance that probably deserved to be towards the end, but so are many of his hits.
And hits after hits they rolled in. It’s prescient that the artist penned Better Man during his early solo career, as if was made for this moment. The song was written in response to his critique over his rockstar’s predilections in the early years – the sex, drugs, and booze. Singing with a palpable honesty and self-contemplation demeanour, Williams delivered with control and restrained. The track showcased his wide range of vocal repertoire, solidifying the performance that engraved Robbie Williams as the man who has matured personally and professionally. The British press has forgiven his antics.
The sonic undulation kept coming, with the dance vibe filled the winery again with Rock DJ, as celebration pummelled across the field of dreams, thanks to the infectious, bouncy beat through a charming frontman, as the guitar shreds across the stage. The encore re-lit the night with a local blast, You’re the Voice , and for that moment, Robbie Williams became an Australian. “May you get better soon, Jonny”.
In the same seminal rank as Better Man, along came Angels. Penned in 1997, not only this track became the ballad of our lives, but it is also the track that saved the career of RW. He also dedicated this track to his wife of 18 years.
“She saved my life.”
Just like the mood of the thoughtful lyrics, Williams delivered with crisp, rustic vocals over the exquisite soaring chorus that lifted everyone’s spirit, be it in energy or vocally, as Nikola Estate soared magically under the clear heavens full of starts. If the performance of Better Man solidified RW as a matured superstar, Angels was the coming of age chapter of RW’s life.
Robbie also serenaded a front row beautifully elegant fan by the name of Sophia from Argentina, making her night the most memorable one.
The night completed with a Capella medley of the bangers that he sang earlier, and finally resting to the theme to Dirty Dancing, (I had) The Time of My Life.
The voice, the larrikinism, the alter ego – fused into a likeable, charming presence thanks to his oeuvre over the past quarter of a century. The fans were entertained, from the highs of stage antics to being captivated by the most intimate narration on suicidical thoughts and the infamies of fame. That somehow humanised the super celebrity. Robbie Williams, or stylistically branded as RW is one of the most entertaining characters to grace the stage.
Sheldon Ang Media expresses his gratitude to Mellen Events , A Day on the Green , Perth PR queen Rosita Stangl , and Robbie Williams for the Press Accreditation and Reviewer seats.

Robbie Williams concert organisers scramble for a solution as patrons endure traffic nightmare
Perth concertgoers have blasted traffic management plans after experiencing hours of traffic gridlock, long waits and walks on the roadside getting in and out of a sold-out Robbie Williams concert on Thursday.
With the second concert due to go ahead tonight, organisers are scrambling to amend traffic management plans before thousands descend on Nikola Estate, a winery in the Swan Valley east of Perth.
Brad Mellen, managing director of concert promoter Mellen Events, told Nadia Mitsopoulos on ABC Radio Perth that "the traffic management plans that were in place were inadequate for the venue".
"We apologise for that; we recognise that there was significant inconvenience to patrons," he said.
"The traffic management plan didn't work and personally, I and our staff are shattered about it.
"We were up until four o'clock this morning working with the venue and the traffic management company to implement changes to that plan that was in place last night and we're confident we'll improve the situation."
Mr Mellen said the company would hold talks with Main Roads to better control the traffic lights at Great Northern Highway and Reid Highway and create a second entrance into the venue for the numerous shuttle busses taking concertgoers into the venue, hopefully reducing congestion for patrons driving to the venue.
Expect delays
He also advised people to get there early if they could and to expect delays.
"What we can do is give people an undertaking that we're going to work hard all day to try and improve the traffic management conditions, but expect that there's going to be traffic," he said.
"We suggest to people that they try and get to the venue early.
"Last night everyone was trying to get into the venue between six and seven o'clock."
'Ruined a good concert'
Listeners to ABC Radio Perth told of hours-long delays both arriving and leaving the concert, which finished at 10:30pm.
Clint : "I'm wondering what the event organisers would've done at the Robbie Williams concert last night if emergency services vehicles needed to rapidly enter or exit the facility as a result of an emergency. Absolutely disastrous traffic management plan — concert should never have been held out there."
Sarah : "Last night's traffic situation after the Robbie show was absolutely terrible. We were stuck in the car park for three hours. We saw ZERO traffic staff in the carpark area. No one explaining anything, no one. There was no water, no way to move anywhere. The only way we got out of the gridlocked car park was because someone opened a gate to a side road where we made our own way out."
Mary : "It took us three hours to get there but on the way home … the last train into Perth from Guildford left at 12.05am. We FINALLY arrived at the station at 12.25am. Everyone was standing on the roadside calling taxis and Ubers. There is no lighting along the almost 2km rocky track to the concert area. Robbie was great! But NEVER AGAIN."
Gary : "Boarded our Horizon bus at Guildford at 5:30pm only to be stuck on Reid highway for 1.5 hours (on a 1980s bus that should have been condemned) we then illegally walked on the verge of Reid highway for one kilometre then another 4km to Nikola estate arriving at 7:45pm. On the way home one bus broke down. We got to Guildford at 12:30am and home in Perth at 1:00pm. Ruined a good concert."
Queues four kilometres long
Mike Priest, event manager with Main Roads, said the congestion was compounded by the fact that concert-goers were travelling at evening peak hour.
"The queues at that time of night are generally busy anyway, because it's peak hour," he said.
Mr Priest said the department would continue to monitor the Great Northern Highway traffic light signals remotely but said changing them would not entirely solve the problem.
"[Yesterday] the traffic signals, were doing everything they could, but the queues were coming four kilometres back from the venue," he said.
"So it doesn't matter how much traffic you can push through or how efficiently you do it … they couldn't go any faster."

Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets Department breaks huge U2 record
Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets Department broke a U2 chart record in the UK upon its debut.
Forbes is reporting that the album debuted at No.1 in the UK. The Tortured Poets Department landed at the top spot with 270,000 equivalent units. Additionally, the album’s lead single, “Fortnight,” which features Post Malone, opened at No. 1 on its chart. This is Swift’s twelfth No. 1 album in her career, which broke her out of a tie with elite company.
Previously, Swift was tied with U2, Rod Stewart, and David Bowie with 11 No. 1 albums in the UK. However, she is still behind a few other legendary acts. Elvis Presley had 13 No. 1 albums, Robbie Williams and the Rolling Stones had 14 No. 1 albums, and the Beatles had 16 No. 1 albums.
Clearly, Swift has been among some rock icons in her career. Throughout their career, U2 has remained one of the biggest names in the business. They are in their fourth decade as a group and are made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.
Like Swift, U2 has embarked on several blockbuster tours. Their “360” tour was at one point the highest-grossing concert tour ever. They have since been eclipsed by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Elton John, and Swift.
Recently, the band played a 40-night residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere commenced on September 29, 2023, and ran through March 2, 2024.
What is The Tortured Poets Department?
The Tortured Poets Department is Swift’s eleventh studio album of original music. She once again collaborated with Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner to produce the album.
Upon winning Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammys, Swift announced The Tortured Poets Department. Just hours after the album dropped, Swift released The Anthology, a collection of 15 more songs. “Fortnight” was released on April 19 as the album’s lead single and features Post Malone.
Additionally, Swift is currently embarking on the “Eras” tour. After commencing on March 17, 2023, Swift took the tour all across North America throughout the year. She also played dates in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil before a break.
In 2024, Swift resumed the tour beginning with four shows in Tokyo, Japan. She then played dates in Australia and Singapore before going on a two-month hiatus.
On May 9, Swift will kick off a European leg of the tour. After five nights at Wembley Stadium in London, England, Swift will return back to the United States and Canada to close out the tour.
To commemorate the tour, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was released in theaters. It quickly became the highest-grossing concert film of all time after it made over $260 million at the box office. The concert film was also picked up by Disney+ who released a (Taylor’s Version) extended cut on their streaming service.
