Russell Howard has announced new dates for his Respite tour throughout 2020.

The tour follows the record-breaking success of Round the World in 2017 and marks the comedian and presenter’s biggest global stand-up tour to date.

Russell Howard launched his Respite tour on 18 September 2019 in Birmingham.

Above, filmed at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Russell chats about what fans coming to the shows can expect, discusses travelling with his mum and explains how he has to alter his set for different audiences around the globe.

Russell Howard began his career with radio work for the BBC, before making regular TV appearances on the likes of Mock the Week , Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats .

Howard currently hosts the acclaimed Sky One hit The Russell Howard Hour , having built a reputation presenting the likes of Russell Howard’s Good News on the BBC between 2009 and 2015.

He has also been snapped up for a Netflix special, releasing Recalibrate at the end of 2017.

He has since secured a number of ongoing series, from his BBC and Sky One residencies to the likes of Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Russell Howard & Mum: USA Road Trip for Comedy Central.

Howard has seen significant praise for both his stand-up and presenting work, with The Sunday Times declaring that “world domination is looming”.

The beloved comedian will embark on a lengthy tour of the UK next year including stops in Bristol, Manchester, London and more

UK comedian, TV personality and actor Russell Howard has announced dates for his 2023 UK tour. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 7 October.

The star of Russell Howard's Good News will head off on his 38-tour of the UK and Ireland on Thursday 16 March, hitting venues in Reading, Southend, Leicester, Plymouth, Cardiff, Torquay, Swansea, Oxford and Woking through till April.

On Saturday 8 April, he'll headline the Corn Exchange in Cambridge before calling at the Arts Centre in Aberystwyth, City Hall in Sheffield and the Hippodrome in Bristol for five consecutive nights. Other stops in the tour include Manchester, Birmingham , Newcastle, Glasgow and more. See a full list of tour dates below.

Russell Howard is an English comedian, television presenter, radio presenter, and actor. He was known for his television show Russell Howard's Good News and is currently doing The Russell Howard Hour, and his appearances on the topical panel TV show Mock the Week.

The comic will play more than 50 nights across the UK in late spring, including a week in his native Bristol and six nights at the London Palladium. Many of his weekend dates have both a matinee and evening performance.

Simply called Russell Howard Live 2023, the show is being sold with the blurb 'As the world reels from one crisis to the next, join Russell, 'the uplifting Comedy King', as he puts the world to rights in his own uniquely hilarious way'.

Russell Howard announces Fall 2023 U.S. Tour

Following the success of his second Netflix special, Lubricant , British stand-up comedian Russell Howard has announced his highly anticipated return to America.

His Fall U.S. Tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off in Durham, NC on Oct. 4 before making stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York and other great cities. There is a Chicago performance set at the Athenaeum Theatre on Oct. 14 and the tour will conclude in Cleveland on Oct. 22.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. local time and there is an exclusive fan pre-sale beginning on Wednesday, May 10 at 10 a.m. local time.
