This tour worked out great. All our divers and guides were on time and very knowledgeable. We did end up doing a private tour and it was well worth it. We also did some research and upgraded our hotels. All the travel arrangements were smooth. We paid extra to take flights as opposed to the overnight train and bus back to Cairo from Sharm. Communication with the tour operator was excellent. I would message them on the Tour Radar sight and the would quickly respond. There were plenty of options for additional tours and events that you can book with Ancient Egypt Tours, The only thing I can say is; I wish we would have spent a little more time in Egypt because it was a lot of travel between cities in a short period of time.. Ancient Egyptian Tours was awesome and a pleasure to deal with.

Arrival in Sharm el Sheikh airport, meet by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Check in 4* hotel (after 3 pm) on All inclusive base. Free time at leisure.

Stargazer tour to the Bedouins with quads

Free morning at leisure. In the afternoon, after lunch in your hotel (between 3 pm and 4 pm, depend on the season) we will pick up you for Quad biking and Star gazing experience in the desert. Our tour includes: - transfer from your hotel to the motor center - safety instructions before the tour - up to 45 minutes quad-biking tour into the desert - transfer to the the Bedouin village - some camel riding activities – 15 minutes - stargazing activity - Bedouin style dinner At the end of the program transfer back to your hotel.

Full day sea trip to Ras Mohammed and White island

After breakfast in your hotel we will pick you up and transfer to the jetty. Full day boat trip to White island and Ras Mohammed includes pick up and drop off, snorkeling at 3 different locations, lunch and drinks on board. Snorkeling equipment is extra. After the tour, around 5 pm we will take you back to your hotel. Free time at leisure in your hotel.

Sharm el Sheikh city tour

The first half of the day free at leisure. Sharm el Sheikh city tour we do recommend to start after lunch at 5-6 pm, at sunset. Our representative will pick you up from the hotel and take to visit the following famous places in Sharm el Sheikh - Fountain at Peace road – the mane landmark of the city - Christian Cathedral - Mosque in the Old Market - Free time at the Old market bazaars. The tour takes 3 hours, after transfer back to your hotel.

Day 1 Arrival to Cairo Int. Airport

You will begin your first day in Egypt by arriving at the Cairo International Airport and meet GAT Tours’ representative who will be  your main assistant during your stay in Egypt, so if you have any questions about your trip feel free to ask him. 

He will take you directly to your hotel in Cairo to check in and proceed to your nice room where you can have some rest before the beginning of your awesome tour in Cairo. (No Meals)

Day 2 Pyramids Of Giza and Sphinx - Egyptian Museum - Citadel Of Saladin

Start your day with the most delicious breakfast at your hotel then get ready to join your professional Egyptologist on an amazing trip in Cairo city.  

This trip will begin from the site of The Great Pyramids of Giza that dates back to the fourth dynasty around 2500 BC. You will be visiting there the Grand pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the smaller pyramid of Menkaure, There is also the famous status of sphinx which was constructed to be the guard of the 3 pyramids and it has a unique shape came with a human’s head and lion’s body.

Next, you will be visiting the Egyptian Museum that includes the most huge collection for various periods of ancient Egyptian history. Your tour inside this museum will include visiting the golden exhibits of Tutankhamen, the mummies’ hall, large impressive reliefs, statues, and many other fascinating items.

It’s now time to discover the famous Citadel in Cairo which was built by the ruler of Egypt in the 10th century, Saladin. He built this huge citale to protect Egypt from any threats. You will enjoy your time inside the citadel today as it hosts the famous Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Mosque of El Nasser Mohamed, and many interesting museums. You will also be able to take many interesting pictures with the amazing panoramic views of Cairo city.

You will now enjoy your lunch meal at one of the best restaurants in Cairo city to taste the amazing Egyptian food. 

Now you will get back to your beloved hotel in Cairo to spend a great night on your own, or you can go with us on an optional tour to the sound & light show at Giza pyramids. This show will include a marvelous story telling by the startling sphinx to reveal the mysteries behind the creation of the pyramids in an entertaining blend of sounds and lights. 

At the end of the day you will return to your hotel to spend a relaxing sleep. (Breakfast & Lunch)

Day 3 Flight to Sharm El-Sheikh

Don’t miss your amazing Egyptian breakfast in the morning before checking out the hotel in Cairo to go for another interesting adventure at Sharm El Sheikh. 

GAT Tours’ representative will be taking you with a private air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo International Airport in order to catch your domestic flight to the amazing city of Sharm El Sheikh. 

When you arrive at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, you will meet our local representative who will take you to your new hotel in this marvelous city. You will check the hotel then enjoy your free time at the rest of day in Sharm El Sheikh swimming, snorkeling, diving, or even chilling out at the wonderful beaches of the city.

How long is the Nile Cruise trip in the area between Luxor and Aswan?

It differs depending on from which city it will start. The Nile Cruise itinerary from Luxor to Aswan takes 4 nights / 5 days of almost 2 days of sailing. While The Nile Cruise itinerary from Aswan to Luxor takes 3 nights / 4 days of almost 1 day of sailing. the difference in trip length is due to Nile River water flow direction which flows from the south to the north. So it takes longer from Luxor to Aswan because the Nile Cruise in this case sails against the river current. We recommend to start the trip from Luxor to get the best experience of the River Nile and its green valley which embraces one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Nile Cruises are not available everyday but 3 days a week; Saturdays, Mondays & Thursdays from Luxor, while from Aswan on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.

What to expect from a Nile Cruise?

A Nile cruise is one of those journeys you feel it imperative to take, at least once in a lifetime. Trips generally run in just the 210-Kilometers stretch between Luxor and Aswan of four or five days for the one way or of eight days for the two ways, with long periods spent tied up at night at the ports of Luxor and Aswan, or at one or more of the most important cities lying between those cities like Esna or Edfu. There are many different ships to choose from, ranging from traditional steamer Nile Cruises (best suited to those that value history and authenticity) to luxurious modern cruise ships (geared towards those for whom creature comforts are a priority). The itineraries of the vast majority of Nile Cruises are the same, including these stops, whether southbound or northbound: Luxor, Edfu, Kom-Ombo, Esna and Aswan. Then there's a side trip to Abu-Simbel, south of Aswan and beyond the High Dam there by plane or bus.

There are 41 countries whose citizens are eligible for an Egypt visa on arrival any of the country’s entry points “airports and ports”. This type of visa is valid for a one-month period; the 27 states in the European Union, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, South Korea, Macedonia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States. For other nationalities (except the Gulf countries) visas should be obtained from Egyptian embassies or Consular Missions abroad, and this type of visa is valid only for travel within three months from the date of issue and is valid only for one-month stay in Egypt starting from the arrival date.
