Sierra Hull Drops 2023 Spring Tour Dates

Bluegrass multi-instrumentalist and songstress Sierra Hull has released a set of spring 2023 tour dates that will take the musician on an impending jaunt along the Eastern Seabord beginning on Feb. 11 at Wilson Hall in Harrisonburg, Va. 

After opening night, the artist will continue her trek a few weeks later on March 8, when she performs at The Kate in Old Saybrook, Conn. Then, in continuation of her springtime tour, Hull will descend upon The Bay State for a set of March dates prior to a one-night stand at Portland House of Music in Portland, Maine. 

Next up, Hull and her band will show up at Lincoln Hall in Chicago on March 16, followed by a performance at The Ark in Ann Arbor, Ill., on March 17. Then, as time ticks on, the musician will find herself at Hi-Fi in Indianapolis for a March 18 gig. 

The tour’s final leg will see the artist participate in a handful of music festivals, including Suwannee Spring Reunion, Savannah Music Festival, Big Ears Festival and Moon Crush.

Sierra Hull Shares First Leg Of 2024 ‘Tip Toe High Wire Tour’ Dates

Sierra Hull  will lace up next spring for the 2024 Tip Toe High Wire Tour . The mandolinist announced the initial batch of coast-to-coast tour dates set to run through March and April and feature new songs.

The new stretch of tour dates will begin March 7th in Stowe, VT. The six-time International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Mandolin Player of the Year will then travel the Northeast for stops in Brownfield, ME (3/8), Cambridge, MA (3/9), and Fall River, MA (3/10) before a quick international excursion to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (3/12).

Returning stateside, Hull and her band will resurface in Cincinnati, OH (3/19) and begin a march to the West Coast, playing gigs in Evanston, IL (3/20), St. Louis, MO (3/21), and Indianapolis, IN (3/22) before stopping back home in Nashville for a show at The Basement East  (3/23). Following a short layover in Nashville, Hull hits California for a show at L.A.’s  Fonda Theatre  before heading to  WinterWonderGrass Tahoe   in Olympic Valley for a set on Friday, April 5th. Hull also just announced an appearance at  Greenbelt Music Festival  in Clive, IA (5/17–5/18, exact date not yet confirmed). There she will share the lineup with headliners  Umphrey’s McGee , Railroad Earth , and Yonder Mountain String Band .

An artist pre-sale for the Sierra Hull  Tip Toe High Water Tour  is now live and accessible using the code MANDO. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 1st at 10 a.m. local time via her website .

Before heading out to tip-toe on her headlining tour, Hull is on the road as a special guest of the Allman Betts Family Revival . The traveling tribute to the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band helmed by heirs  Devon Allman  and  Duane Betts  will round out another landmark year for Hull. In 2023, Sierra took home her sixth IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year Award since 2016, making her the third all-time record-holder behind Adam Steffey  (11) and  Ronnie McCoury  (8). She also joined  Grateful Dead  drummer  Bill Kreutzmann ‘s extended  Billy & The Kids  family in NYC , hosted her own bluegrass night at Ryman Auditorium   featuring  Billy Strings and  Béla Fleck , shared the stage with Del McCoury , Jerry Douglas , and  Bradley Walker  at  Eric Clapton ‘s  Crossroads Guitar Festival , and plenty more.
