A wild field trip in the Big Country!

Serving over 129 school districts from 51 counties.

Group Field Trips

We can’t wait to see you and your students at the zoo. Please submit a Zoo Field Trip Request Form, as there is limited space daily. ALL organizations must submit a Field Trip Request Form to receive the group rate admission seven days in advance. Thank you for helping us make your visit a success.

Field Trip Rates

• Students (PreK-7th grade) – $6.50 each
• Students (8th-12th grade) – $8.00 each
• Teachers – $8.00 each
• Field trip rates must be paid as a group in one transaction on arrival, accept credit card, cash, or check
• Parents and siblings not paying with the group are subject to a regular admission rate

*There is no fee for Abilene or Wylie ISD Field Trips for students or school personnel

Field Trip Add-Ons

Add an educational experience featuring an Ambassador Animal your students can touch!

• $50 minimum
• $2.25 per student
• Students & Teachers only is preferred
• 20-30 minutes
• Time Blocks: 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:30 AM
• Class sizes are limited to 50 per classroom

*These rates apply to all groups including Abilene or Wylie ISD

Are you planning on being at the zoo on a busy field trip day? Enjoy a 2-hour rental in our outdoor pavilion with picnic tables.

Have you cast your vote for your preferred calendar for the 2024-25 school year? If not, please review the two options below and vote NOW in  Skyward Family Access  under “Online Forms.” Each family will receive one vote. If your family has multiple students, you will have access to the same form under each student; however, changing the response for one student will update the response for all students in the family to be counted as one vote. If a student has multiple families, each family will have the opportunity to vote. The survey is open until Friday, Dec. 22 at noon.
