Alan Walker Announces Massive Walkerverse Tour

Alan Walker dropped the dates for Walkerverse, his 29-stop tour that will see him head to cities in Europe and North America.

World-renowned Norwegian producer Alan Walker is one of the most sought-after producers globally. His massive hits such as “ Faded ,” “ Alone ,” and “ Darkside ” among many others have topped charts and landed him a spot on some of the biggest festivals and stages worldwide, quickly making quite a name for himself as an artist not to miss.

Hiding behind the mystery of his mask and hoodie, Alan Walker brings a bit of cinematic magic to not only his music but his live show as well. Over the past few days, he has been teasing fans with his upcoming journey, Walkerverse . Treating fans to the first part of his one-of-a-kind experience, this tour is set to make stops throughout Europe and North America in 29 select cities.

Kicking off the tour on September 28 in Manchester at the Manchester Academy , Alan Walker will then make his way through cities including London , Paris , Vienna , Krakow , and Amsterdam among many others. The European leg closes out in Frankfurt on October 22 , and from there he’ll cross the pond to North America. That half will begin on November 3 at the Southside Ballroom in Dallas , with other stops booked in cities such as New York , Washington DC , Denver , Los Angeles , Chicago , Montreal , Toronto , and more.

Those planning to attend can  register   now for the presale on Wednesday, May 11 at 10am local time. Tickets for the general public begin on  May 13  at  10am  local time. Alan Walker Unveils 2022 World-Tour “Walkerverse”

Alan Walker is returning to the dancefloor with a massive world tour. He announced a 29-date tour across Europe and North America, with more dates and countries to be added. Walkerverse is set to take place later this year, with even more countries and dates to be announced. Limited pre-sale tickets are available.

As one of the world’s most sought after DJs, Alan is certainly no stranger to traveling the length and breadth of the globe for his craft and is sure to delight fans once more as he prepares to embark upon a three-month tour that will see him take over the decks of some of the world’s most prestigious venues.

Having teased news of the WalkerVerse via socials, speculation has been rife, and it’s safe to say this tour announcement will not disappoint. Music to his fans’ ears – quite literally – Alan will raise the bar with his upcoming live show format, demonstrating why he is consistently one of the most popular electronic artists in the world.

Walkerverse’s concept and dates

Although he has remained very reserved about it, it promises a completely immersive and cinematic experience on this new tour. We can see a preview within some teasers posted throughout his latest music video. ‘The Drum’ shows a series of sequence shots where an escapist tries not to be hit by a drone. We can take this as a preview of what we can possibly see on this tour, along with the idea of a metaverse. Promising vocalist, Au/Ra will be joining Walker on tour.

Kicking off on 28 th  September in  Manchester, United Kingdom , Walker will touch down in cities throughout Europe – including  London, Zürich, Milan, Amsterdam , and  Paris  to name just a few – completing the European leg of the tour in  Frankfurt  on 22 nd  October. The Norwegian hitmaker will then descend upon  North America , with some of the hottest clubs in the US and Canada all locked in for November and December.

Alan Walker Anounces “WALKERVERSE” 2022 World Tour

The portal to the WalkerVerse has opened. Alan Walker  is hitting the road once again this fall with the advent of a massive new tour throughout Europe and North America.

The lengthy, 29-stop tour snakes throughout Europe’s major metropolitan centers before touching down in North America by way of Dallas, Texas. With major outings at Washington D.C.’s Echostage, Chicago’s Radius, and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, the WalkerVerse tour is shaping up to be Walker’s biggest showing yet on the club circuit.

The chart-topping “Faded” artist hasn’t hesitated to create cinematic experiences around his music and shows, and his latest tour announcement teaser is no exception. Though it leaves plenty to the imagination, the forthcoming run of shows promises to bring a new level of immersion to his sets.

Walker’s latest offering is one such example of his penchant for cutting-edge visuals and fascination with our technological future. Walker’s music video for “The Drum” depicts a nail-biting chase as the video’s speedster seeks to escape the watchful eyes of surveilling drones. The hooded producer seeks to translate his gripping visual storytelling abilities into his live shows as the WalkerVerse tour kicks off in late September.

I was fortunate enough to go to his Different Word Tour and it was amazing.!Seriously I was in awe. It was my first concert ever and I’ve been hooked on EDM concerts ever since and tbh none have ever topped Alan’s show. He stayed true to a lot of his songs and the energy was incredible. I can’t wait to see him again, but that tour was at the beginning of 2019 and from what I’ve seen from some of his other live sets at festivals he’s changed up his songs a lot. So, if you’re a fan of his older songs and melodies, like Faded, Sing Me to Sleep, and Alone you might be a little disappointed with some sets now, especially at festivals since the songs are changed a lot. However his shows are still incredible and he always brings so much energy. I would definitely recommend going to at least one of his shows.

It was great venue but I would love to have had the concert experience. I was disappointed when I found out that it was in a nightclub. But he exudes positive energy. I had chills from beginning but had to leave before Faded. I did due my handicap and lack of bettery to call Uber. It was nice experience. If I had the money I'd fly to Amsterdam.

The door opened at 7. He did not come until 9 something. Since the ticket was quite cheap, I can't blame him for being that late. The music was good. Afterall he is an amazing dj. However, it would be more exciting if he did not just play the tracks on the MacBook but actually do the remix in the club.

Alan Walker India Tour: Find Dates, Tickets, Cities

The Norwegian DJ-producer embarks on his biggest India tour later this year, hitting 10 cities between September and October

Alan Walker will bring his Walkerworld tour to India, via Sunburn this September and October.

On the back of launching a new song for the Indian Premier League (IPL) and performing in Bengaluru, Alan Walker has announced his biggest India tour, slated to kick off in September this year.

The “Faded” and “On My Way” artist – who recently released “Who I Am” – will be touring from September to October of this year, covering places like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, Pune, Shillong, Chennai and Kolkata.

Although the specific dates for each stop on the Sunburn Arena/WalkerWorld India Tour is yet to be announced, fans can pre-register to get notified when ticket sales commence. Registrations via BookMyShow are open until April 15th.  

Walker said in a statement, “I’m so excited to be back in India on my biggest tour ever and to share new music with everyone. Indian crowds always bring such amazing energy and I can’t wait to create some unforgettable moments together.”

While in India, Walker launched a team anthem for the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore, called “Team Side ft RCB” and linked up with everyone from star cricketers like Virat Kohli to pop stars including Guru Randhawa, plus producer Gravero, who was enlisted to create a new version of “Who I Am.”

Walker – who considers India a key market alongside South Asia – was back in India this week after a year without performing in the country. In a previous interview with Rolling Stone India , “We didn’t stop by India last year, and that’s the first time in quite a while where there hasn’t been anything. It was also kind of good to take a little bit of a break from India, make people hyped for our return and I’ve seen it on social media. People really want me to come back to India, and I can’t wait. I think we’ll be planning to do some shows around India and maybe explore some new cities that I haven’t been to before.”

The tour is produced by Sunburn, whose 2024 calendar has so far included hip-hop artist G-Eazy , EDM artist Marshmello , DJ-producer Illenium , Australian house music producer Fisher, techno and progressive house artist Lauren Mia, Greece’s Echonomist and more.

Alan Walker Spills IPL Anthem Secrets And India Tour Plans

N orwegian DJ and music producer Alan Walker is celebrating the 10 th anniversary of his breakout hit Faded, not with a vacation but with more new music. Contrary to the popular perception of laidback Norwegians, this man is never idle. He was in Bangalore last month to launch his new IPL song for Royal Challengers Bangalore. The anthemic track Team Side ft RCB has singer Sofiloud aka Lise Reppe on vocals and has lyrics and English, Kannada and Hindi. It has already garnered more than 19 million views on YouTube. 

“This song has been so long in the making, and I am happy with the final result,” he said in an interview with The Free Press Journal. As for the journey since his breakout hit Faded , Walker remarked, "This year marks 10 years since I released the instrumental forerunner to Faded, and naturally, my sound has evolved, both in terms of my own personal development and how the genre and industry have developed.” He credits his growth to working with diverse talents and exploring various genres, stating, “I enjoy working with others and across genres. So, most likely, the development is a combination of several factors.”

He's also riding high from the love for his latest global hit Who I Am, a collaborative effort involving Indonesian singer Putri Ariani and Norwegian singer-songwriter Peder Elias. “It was an exciting process. I had been working on the song for over a year with different vocalists. But when I met Putri last year at a performance in Indonesia, we wanted to test her on the track. I'm very happy about that now,” Walker said.

While it follows Walker's signature EDM soundscape, what sets is apart is the acoustic guitar and the duet. The decision to collaborate with our Indian mashup sensation Gravero for a new mix of Who I Am was serendipitous. “Gravero actually reached out, and I'm glad he did. He is an incredibly inspiring person, and I loved his version,” Alan added.

Gravero started his musical career making mashups, which caught the attention of dance music fans first. The young artist hailing from Kolkata is working on his own original sound, and this collaboration with Walker was a “dream come true” for him. While his version has been appreciated for the sitar and flute additions, some listeners didn't find it too far out from the original.

“While the original track has a slower tempo with vocal beds and chops in the drop, my rendition introduces a completely different sonic environment. It's understandable that the similarities to Alan Walker's signature sound could overshadow the distinctions since I've been influenced by his music for years, and it was important to honour his style in this collaboration,” Gravero explained.

Walker isn't fazed by the rapid changes that technology is bringing to the music industry. He'd rather create and live through unforgettable experiences, “I had a pretty insane restrung performance of the single on top of the mountains of Åndalsnes in Norway. Putri and Peder Elias are in it along with a bunch of musicians. We made a grand video around it,” he recalled.

For the moment, he can't hide his excitement about his biggest India tour, where he will cover 10 cities in September-October 2024. In partnership with the Sunburn music festival, the tour aligns with the debut of his latest venture, WalkerWorld. It is a compilation album released in December 2023, consisting of 10 tracks and has collabs with top acts like American producers Daya and Steve Aoki. What makes WalkerWorld more astounding is that it's a crossover into the virtual world, with the introduction of Alan Walker's amusement park in Fortnite. The world is about 1,500 square miles and is an open-world experience. “The most exciting part of the tour is obviously the Indian Walkers (his fans). They are absolutely fantastic,” remarked the DJ.
