Bottom Line

The 130-room Royal Suites Yucatan is the smallest, quietest, and most luxurious resort in the five-resort Grand Palladium Riviera Maya complex, and the only one for adults only. Located along the beautiful Akumal coastline between Tulum and Cancun, this upscale resort gives guests an all-inclusive experience with more food an drink options than you can count on both hands, all-day and night activities, soft sand and coral rock beaches, wildlife, a huge hydrotherapy-based spa with gym (access for a fee), and relaxing nature-filled grounds. While Royal Suites guests get full access to the features at the sister resorts, the reverse is not true. The rooms have much more contemporary decor than what is found at the sister properties, and the lagoon-facing Mayan Suites here are among the nicest accommodations in the entire complex. Just note that the property is sprawling and it's a trek to the beach, though shuttle service is available.

Oyster Hotel Review

Smaller resort within a much larger complex.

Four additional affiliated resorts are part of this large complex; the Royal Suites Palladium has 130 suites, and is designated as an adults-only hotel. Older couples are frequent travelers here, as are groups of adult family members. The lobby area is pretty and airy, with a palapa-like ceiling and large windows; this combination of interior and exterior is thematic throughout the property, including in the spa area and in the fitness center, which has floor-to-ceiling windows. The resort itself stretches over extensive grounds. Many guests have noted that wildlife can be seen from the walkways between buildings. The theater is the venue for regular evening entertainment.

The Royal Suites is definitely the most romantic and upscale resort in the complex; while the White Sand , Riviera , Colonial , and Kantenah resorts all have access to one another's features, only the Royal Suites section is exclusive to its guests. Specifically, Royal Suites guests have their own gourmet El Jardin restaurant, small pool, and La Terraza lobby bar. They also can access the features at all of the other properties. The nearest resorts are the Riviera and White Sands (which share a common hub with a main pool and multiple restaurants), and this side of the property feels quieter and more secluded. The downside is that it's also more of a trek to the beach, though shuttle service is available. 

A 30-minute drive from Playa del Carmen, and one hour from Cancun International Airport

The huge, five-resort Grand Palladium complex entrance is off northbound Highway 307. It's just over an hour's drive south of Cancun and 30 minutes south of Playa del Carmen , but less than 15 minutes north of Akumal Beach's town center and 30 minutes north of the town and beachside ruins of Tulum . Adventure parks Xel-Ha, Xcaret, Xplor, and Alternative Tours are located just up the Highway 307 strip on the way to Playa del Carmen. The village-like resort complex gives little need to explore beyond the property, but if you want to get out and about you'll need a car or cab -- even just to make it to the front gates. 

Spacious, modern rooms with two-person jetted tubs; romantic lagoon-adjacent rooms available

Rooms here are easily the nicest in the complex, with higher-quality bedding than its sister properties, jewel-tone accents, shiny marble tile floors, and in some, framed locally themed posters. Junior Suites and Royal Suites have two-person hot tubs on the balconies, which can be filled by the staff upon request. The bathroom setup may not be ideal for non-couples: Showers and toilets are self-contained, and neither area includes enough room to change. Junior Suites are the entry-level category, with a king or two double beds, while both Royal Suites and Mayan Suites have king beds. Mayan Suites are situated on the lagoon and are among the most romantic accommodations in the entire complex; the outdoor showers and indoor jetted tubs are highlights. All rooms have memory-foam mattresses, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, plasma TVs, bathrobes, and slippers; pillow and aromatherapy menus are on offer. All guests are assigned a butler, whose purpose it is to help them navigate the options of the hotel complex; many guests have noted that this service can be spotty. 

All-Inclusive / Food

An exclusive gourmet restaurant, plus lots more at sister resorts.

The Royal Suites has its own exclusive restaurant, El Jardin, a thatched-roof, open-air space serving both buffet and a la carte fare (it has been known to serve lobster entrees for dinner at no additional charge). The Grand Palladium Riviera and White Sand share a slightly small main buffet, La Laguna, with outdoor seating overlooking the pool that serves breakfast, lunch, tea time snacks. There's also a pool-facing bar of the same name with lower-level swim-up service. (An additional and similar buffet is available on the Colonial /Kantenah side of the complex). There's an additional, much larger buffet, Kabah, that is shared between the two properties, but located on the Riviera side proper. Kabah is open for three meals a day. Otherwise, the a la carte selection includes the impressively decorated Bamboo (a Chinese restaurant), Portofino (Italian), La Lola (Spanish), and Ribs & More, a grill and barbecue joint. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance for the a la carte spots, and most have seating both indoors and outdoors. 

On the other half of the resort complex, guests have even more choices with La Adelita (Mexican) and El Dorado on the Colonial side, and Sumptuori (Japanese sushi, hibachi, and table service) and Chang Thai (Thai) on the Kantenah side. 

In addition to the official restaurants and buffets, there are quick snacks like nachos and burgers available at the Beach Bar, Punta Emilia (at the beach on the Riviera and White Sand side), and Sports Bar.

Besides having a head-spinning amount of dining options across all four resorts, Grand Palladium has implemented a fantastic program for those with restricted diets (including those with egg allergies, dairy intolerances, or celiac disease). Upon check-in guests with special dietary needs will receive a card to present to dining staff which alerts them to their particular requirements. Informed staff members can then show what dishes are acceptable or can be modified for the guest. 

Fill your cup at over 20 spots scattered across the entire complex.

La Terraza lobby bar is for Royal Suites guests only, and has an outdoor section overlooking the lagoon -- but drink options hardly end there. With more bars than some small towns, the Grand Palladium complex has plenty of places to make sure your cup is never dry, from the beach, to the pool, to the theater, to the lobby, to the late-night dance club. The White Sand / Riviera sections of the complex give guests two eponymous lobby bars, El Teatro theater bar, Punta Emilia beachside snack and booze bar, and the dual-level pool and swim-up bar near their poolside buffet, La Laguna Bar. There's a unique saltwater pool among the rocks on the Riviera side where a small bar is set up, and a late-night dance club, Sunset Blvd., is located off the Riviera lobby. 

On the Colonial side, there's Bar Colonial in the lobby, serving coffee and cocktails; a surprisingly large Sports Bar decked out with table games, sports memorabilia, ancient pay-per-use Internet kiosks, and a large projection screen TV; a bar off the theater serving spirits and soft drinks during the live shows; and the dual-level Gran Azul bar next to the buffet. The lower half of this bar has swim-up service that closes in the early evening, but the top part stays open late. Nearby, on the Kantenah side, there's another lobby bar, two evening lounges off the lobby, and off the far north corner of the beach, La Jarra beach bar. The Kantenah side also has an adult-only pool with bar service, while both resorts have the beachside Beach Bar (that also serves snacks) just behind the main pool and water park. 

Long and busy stretch of soft sand beach, plus small coral rock area

The Mayan Riviera coastline is famous for soft white sands, turquoise waters, and sometimes, rocky coral shorelines -- oh, and a few (or more) gusts of wind. While busy and filled with sunning bodies (some topless), small shady palapa huts, and lounge chairs, the long stretch of beach behind the large resort still manages to feel natural and relaxing. Perhaps this is due to the mangrove and palm tree barrier between the edge of the pools and the beach itself, or the secluded Las Rocas area -- a naturally elevated spot with rustic views, coral reefs, and a saltwater pool -- connected to the sandy beach via a scenic walk through jungle landscaping with peekaboo ocean views. Down on the sands, lifeguards are on duty; water sports gear like paddle boats and kayaks are in frequent use; a webcam streams live; and people take dips in the shallow waters. Typical white loungers with tight-stretched blue fabric are strewn across the sand; note that topless sunbathing is allowed. There's not much shade available on the White Sand and Riviera side of the beach, but farther down on the Colonial and Kantendah sides there is a small section of sand under the shade of palms. The section of shoreline closest to Royal Suites is rocky, but shuttle service is available to get to the main stretch of sand. 

Beach bars include Las Rocas, Punta Emilia on the edge of the White Sand and Riviera beach section, the Beach Bar smack in the middle of the beach behind Colonial/Kantenah (where food and beer, but no liquor, is served), and La Jarra on the far edge of the Kantenah strip. 

A small private pool, plus seven freshwater pools across the complex and a seaside saltwater pool

The Royal Suites has its own pool with a warm water area in the middle surrounded by pillows, and in-water tile loungers. Across the complex, there are seven more freshwater pools and one saltwater pool. Of note is a garden-surrounded adult-only pool (marked on the map, but not on resort signage) placed between the Colonial / Kantenah and White Sand/ Riviera sections. Although it's a quasi-secret, it's usually packed, but is a much quieter and more elegant looking spot than some of the other pools. A small bar is off to the side to serve up drinks. An infinity-style pool lined with shaded loungers is located at the spa, but can only be accessed with a spa pass. 

Access to a wide variety of bars, dining options, and pools

Built first, the Grand Palladium Colonial claims the bulk of the complex amenities; just off the lobby guests will find bars, a theater, and multiple shops -- including a pharmacy and tobacco shop, a 24-hour doctor's clinic, and row of tour desks, along with baggage, telephone, and money services. On the grounds outside the lobby, Colonial is home to a pretty chapel with mass services (and weddings), orchid garden, and a flamboyance of flamingos (also found outside of Kantenah). Behind the Colonial and Kantenah pool area, there's an indoor and outdoor kids' club area with a large and colorful water park full of slides, fountains, and splash areas. The resort also has a baby club and teens' club, which is priceless for those hard-to-cater-for ages. 

Around the complex grounds, guests will find a large sports center -- that people actually use -- with tennis, basketball, archery, soccer, running tracks, and mini-golf. Nearby, there's also the massive Zentopia spa which has its own pool; a large hydrotherapy area with saunas, various temperature pools, a typical Mayan sweat lodge, and treatments; beauty salon, treatment rooms with outdoor showers in Mayan decor; and gym. Access to the spa used to be a part of the all-inclusive, but in order to keep it less congested and more relaxing, the hotel decided to start charging a small fee. 

Because of the massive grounds, golf cart shuttles transport guests from lobby to lobby, with drop offs at the spa and sports center as well. But, if you want to get adventurous, you can always rent a Segway and zip around the property yourself. The garden grounds have an abundance of wildlife. It's not uncommon to see coati (raccoon-like animals), raccoons, capybara (large hamster-like fellas), and various birds throughout the grounds -- there are even caged-in crocodiles hanging out behind the Colonial/ Kantenah lobby. The resort also has three natural cenotes hidden among the verdant grounds, although unlike the popular ones along the highway, you cannot swim in them.

My Remarkable and Lavish 5-day Stay at the TRS Yucatan, Riviera Maya, Mexico

Recently I had the pleasure of staying at the TRS Yucatan, Riviera Maya, Mexico which sits between Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

TRS Yucatan is part of the Palladium Hotel Group, which is a luxury hotel group that has all different ranges of hotels in Brazil, Dominican Republic, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, and Spain.

While this is my first time staying in a Palladium Hotel, I can say that I will be spending my time in other Palladium Hotels in all of the locations that they offer. I was impressed, to say the least.

TRS Yucatan is one of four in this Pallidum grouping on the Riviera, in which it is the only one of the four that is adults-only. TRS is all-inclusive and while staying here, you have access to all four properties, where as, the other three properties do not allow you access into TRS. Presumably because it is adults-only and they other three are catered to families.

What are rooms available at TRS Yucatan?

There is a wide variety of rooms available, but I chose a Junior Suite Private Pool with a Jungle Garden View. I had always wanted to stay at a resort where I had my own pool available and I finally have done it; this is the only way to go, now!

What are the property amenities?

The whole resort has every possible amenity available. However, TRS Yucatan has the following amenities:

• Adults only pool on the ocean
• Saltwater pool on the ocean
• Chic Cabaret
• Bars open 24 hours
• 24-hour room service
• Butler service

What are the room amenities?

• Robe and slippers
• Restocked everyday with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• Rain shower
• Bed, sofa, and big-screen TV
• Couch and sitting area
• Private pool with lounge and table outside and view of the jungle

What are the food and drink options?

• I went for breakfast here almost every day
• Amazing buffet and some items for order on the menu
• I didn’t have a chance to try this but it was always packed
• I did have dinner here one night
• Italian food and it was delicious
• Had dinner here twice
• French food and everything was amazing
• This restaurant and the cabaret shows are closed due to covid but they did have outdoor shows every night while I was there

These restaurants are on the TRS portion; there are other restaurants throughout the whole resort.

Is there parking available?

• Yes, there is parking available through the valet if you choose to rent a car at the airport.

Are there exercise options available?

• There are exercise options available with a gym, which is located in the Spa, as well as group classes in the main pool in the White Sands section

Is there an airport shuttle available and how far is TRS Yucatan from the Cancun airport?

• I took a shared shuttle to the resort

Is the property on the beach and how are the views?

• Yes, this resort is on the beach however, beach views from your room will be dependent on where you’re staying and which room option you choose

Since you have access to the other three properties, how do you get from TRS to the other properties?

• There are actually ‘stops’ everywhere that you can stand and wait for a cart to come by

• Arrive at the Cancun airport, go through customs, and get on shuttle
• Take the shuttle to the TSR Yucatan
• You will be served any drink you like while waiting as well as some snacks, if you would like
• Provide a copy of the passport which is required at all hotels
• Making reservations, ordering you a cart, bringing you bottles, etc.3
• Unpack, put on bathing suit and take a dip in my private pool
• Took a cart to the lobby for drinks
• Ordered room service and had a relaxing evening in my room

• Had eggs benedict, coffee and a mimosa
• Went back to the room to put my suit on and headed to the pool in Grand Palladium that had a swim up bar
• After the pool, went and grabbed some food at a buffet where I had a salad, a piece of pizza, and champagne
• Went back to the room for a swim and a little rest
• Went to dinner at La Boheme and it was amazing
• After dinner, went to the Chic Cabaret and watched a live performance and had some drinks
• It was time for bed

• An absolute feast served to you in your private pool with a bottle of champagne and rose petals thrown on water
• There was more than enough food for two people and is the ultimate romantic moment
• Took a taxi to the ruins, which was about 20 minutes away
• Took an hour guided tour through the ruins
• Stopped in Tulum and had a fresh pina colada in a fresh coconut
• Headed back to the hotel and went to the room for a swim and a rest
• Went to dinner at Tentazione which is Italian and it was wonderful
• Went to Chic cabaret for another live show and had some more drinks
• Off to bed I went

• Breakfast at Helios
• Hydrotherapy and lazy river at the Zentropia spa
• Buffet lunch
• Rest and a pool dip
• Dinner at La Boheme (yes, it was that delicious)
• Drinks and a show at Chic Cabaret
• Off to bed early as it was time to checkout tomorrow
• Breakfast at Helio’s
• Back to the room to pack and head to the lobby to checkout
• Shuttle picked us up to head to the airport
• Arrived at the airport where I checked in for my flight, went through security, and had a bite to eat before the flight
• From now on, I must always have my own pool but I think I will go for the regular suite or the ambassador suite with an ocean view
• The food, the drinks, the comfort was all incredible
• For an all-inclusive, it never felt that way due to the 5-star atmosphere
• Some of the venues were closed but there was more than enough available that it you didn’t really even notice that this was during a pandemic

Everything you need to know about Costco Travel — and why I love it for saving money

Costco isn't just the place where you can buy toilet paper in bulk, inexpensive gas, cheap hot dogs and gift cards. You can also book great trips via the company's online travel agency, Costco Travel.

I know, I know: At TPG, we're often staunchly against booking travel through third-party sites , as there can be tradeoffs versus booking directly. But in recent years, I've become a big fan of the travel deals I can find via Costco Travel.

When planning our annual beach trip back in 2022, my best friend found a few options for Mexican all-inclusive resorts on Costco Travel and shared the links with me. I promptly told her we'd probably be better off booking directly and brushed off the idea of booking through Costco — neither of us even had a membership at the time.

However, comparing the prices and benefits at a few of the resorts proved my initial reaction wrong.

I actually got a Costco membership to book the deal since the cost of the membership was less than what we'd save by booking through Costco. We saved around $300 on a three-night stay at TRS Coral near Cancun (one of TPG's best all-inclusive resorts in Cancun ), not including the free hydrotherapy spa circuit and the $241 Digital Costco Shop Card included in the package.

Our stay was fantastic, and I officially became a Costco Travel convert.

If you're curious about how to use Costco Travel to find deals, here's everything you need to know about Costco Travel — and why I love it for saving money on travel.

What is Costco Travel?

All Costco members have access to the Costco Travel booking platform, where you can find and book a wide range of travel — from vacation packages to hotels, cruises and rental cars. You can even book theme park vacation packages to Disney and Universal or specialty vacations such as an African safari.

Once you log in to Costco Travel, you can search for specific dates or destinations or browse through available deals and featured destinations. I personally love perusing the limited-time deals when I know I want to plan a getaway but don't have a specific destination in mind.

Trips booked through Costco Travel are often discounted and/or include perks and benefits you may not get by booking directly or through other booking portals. Usually, a trip booked through Costco Travel will also include a Digital Costco Shop Card (essentially a type of Costco gift card) of varying value.

What travel can you book through Costco Travel?

You can book hotels, cruises, rental cars and vacation packages through Costco Travel. Vacation packages range from hotel-only offers to all-encompassing packages that include airfare, hotel stays and rental cars. You can even build your own package.

However, one thing to note is that you can't book stand-alone flights via Costco Travel. There is an option to book flights through some vacation packages, but if you're only looking for airfare, you'll want to head to Google Flights to check out your options and book.

You can book Costco Travel offers both online and by phone.

Do you have to be a Costco member to use Costco Travel?

Yes. Costco Travel is an exclusive service for Costco members.

There are two personal membership levels: Gold Star and Executive. Gold Star costs $60 per year, while an Executive membership costs $120. The basic membership will give you access to all of Costco's services, including Costco Travel, while the Executive membership also comes with a 2% reward on all Costco (and Costco Travel) purchases.

I've found that the Costco Travel deals alone are worth paying the $60 Gold Star annual membership fee, even though I don't regularly use Costco for my grocery store runs.

Check sites like Groupon for discount Costco memberships, as you can sometimes save on that rate — or get an included gift card that helps offset the cost.

Is Costo Travel worth it?

Costco Travel has its pros and cons, but there are definitely times when it's worth it.

For example, let's look at a five-night stay in Maui in early April. At the time of writing, Costco is currently offering a hotel and rental car package for Hotel Wailea, a Relais & Chateaux affiliated property and one of TPG's favorite Maui hotels .

Here's one cost comparison breakdown of Costco Travel's deal versus booking directly:

Even without including the additional benefits, you're already saving more than $400 via the Costco deal. Add in the value you get from the card, daily breakfast and resort credit (which is more than $1,000 in value if you maximize all benefits), and you're looking at $1,442.45 in savings by booking through Costco Travel versus directly.

And since Hotel Wailea isn't a member of any major hotel loyalty program, booking through Costco Travel wouldn't mean missing out on elite night credits or other loyalty program benefits.

Here's another example — this time for a Universal Orlando theme park trip from June 4-6 for one adult and two children from Houston. The total cost when booking each part (hotel, tickets and airfare) individually came to $2,701.35, while booking it as a package via Costco saved just over $300.

That's a fair amount of savings you could use for some frozen butterbeer or even a new wand inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter .

When is Costco Travel not worth it?

Not every offer on Costco is worth booking.

For one, you won't necessarily find the same availability on Costco Travel. For example, flights booked through Costco may have some seats blocked off, and certain dates for hotel stays may be unavailable. Additionally, not all rental car companies are bookable through Costco Travel (such as Hertz*, which is my preferred rental car company due to the perks I get through my Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card ).

Plus, some hotel stays have a minimum stay requirement. If you're on the hunt for a long weekend getaway, you may not be able to take advantage of some Costco Travel deals.

Even when you do find availability, you should always price-check what you can find by booking directly or through your credit card travel portal and hotel programs.

After booking our fantastic stay at TRS Coral just north of Cancun through Costco, I looked at booking through Costco again in 2023 when planning our annual beach vacation.

While Costco had a deal available for the same resort, we happened to be booking when the resort chain was having a Mother's Day sale for anyone booking directly. We were able to try out a new TRS resort closer to Playa Del Carmen, TRS Yucatan; we saved more than $100 on an even nicer suite than Costco Travel offered by booking directly (even when considering the Digital Shop Card we would have gotten by booking with Costco).

Something else to consider when booking hotels through Costco Travel is loyalty program rewards and elite status. There are a lot of hotels available to book through Costco Travel that are part of major loyalty programs, from Hyatt Honors to Marriott Bonvoy to IHG One Rewards and more. But booking through Costco Travel — just like booking through most other third-party services such as Expedia — means you likely won't earn loyalty rewards, elite night credits or have any elite night benefits honored.

You'll also have to use Costco customer service if you run into any issues rather than going directly to the brand. This is especially important when considering booking a vacation package that includes flights, given the higher potential for delays or cancellations.

Why I love Costco Travel

I am typically a staunch proponent of booking directly, but Costco Travel is an exception. I've found that the benefits I can get by booking some trips via Costco outweigh the cons (some of which include having to go through Costco for any customer service help or occasionally losing out on elite night credits).

Digital Costco Shop Cards

My favorite thing about booking trips through Costco Travel is the Digital Costco Shop Card I get after booking. The card's value varies from trip to trip (generally depending on how expensive the package you book), but you can get hundreds of dollars back to use at Costco.

The Digital Costco Shop Cards can be used for Costco warehouse purchases (a game changer with grocery prices so high due to inflation), but you can also use them toward future Costco Travel bookings. And remember — Costco doesn't just carry bulk grocery items. You could use a Digital Costco Shop Card to buy a new flat-screen TV for movie nights and game days, a new outdoor patio setup ahead of summer or even Costco Pharmacy prescriptions.

I admittedly don't use Costco for groceries often (buying in bulk doesn't make a lot of sense for someone who lives alone), but I have used shop cards to help pay for Christmas presents and future Costco Travel trips. I've actually been looking into using my most recent Digital Costco Shop Card on a new pair of AirPods and a new TV mount for my living room.

Deals on non-points hotel stays and all-inclusive resorts

When I'm looking at booking a hotel stay at a brand like Hyatt or Marriott, I generally choose to book directly in order to earn elite night credits and points. However, when looking at properties not part of a major loyalty program, Costco Travel is often a go-to anytime I can find a deal.

Costco Travel has a nice deals section, and I usually look there first if I'm not sold on a specific destination for a getaway. While deals found on Costco generally have a narrow booking window, I've found that many offer a lot of flexibility for the actual trip dates.

A few examples of limited-time deals for January include Hotel Wailea from the example earlier in this guide, all-inclusive resorts in Mexico's Riviera Maya, and Disney and Universal theme park packages.

Simplifying group vacations

I'm often the travel planner in my friend group (which makes sense, considering what I do for a living), but not everyone is an avid points and miles user like myself. For group trips where we're splitting the cost of hotel rooms among multiple people, it often doesn't make sense to use points and miles to book.

Costco Travel vacation packages offer a way for all of us to save money, and it makes narrowing down potential destinations and hotels easier. Rather than everyone having to spend hours researching ideas and prices from across the internet — which might be my idea of a fun Wednesday night but isn't for some of my friends — I typically just send them to Costco Travel to see if any of the featured deals catch their eye.

Having reservation information for multiple aspects of a trip, such as a hotel and rental car package, makes sharing and saving the itineraries a breeze.

Bottom line

Whether or not you currently have a Costco membership, you shouldn't dismiss Costco Travel as just another online travel agency.

If you know where to look and are willing to price-check the deals you find, you can save a lot of money with Costco Travel deals. I've personally had a lot of success booking friends getaways to popular destinations like Mexico through Costco. Using the service has helped me save on other expenses with the Digital Costco Shop Card I've gotten with my bookings.

For me, the $60 annual membership fee to Costco has been more than worth it to utilize Costco Travel.

The TRS Yucatan provided me with a memorable experience that will last a lifetime. Booked using TripGuy.com, I had never experienced an all-inclusive resort before, and I felt like this was a proper introduction. The staff at the hotel made me feel right at home and explained everything about how the resort worked. The food was delicious at every location, the atmosphere was clean, and there were too many fun activities to partake in. I recommend the junior suite with the jet bath tub that felt like a personal hot tub! I would definitely return.

Amazing experience

Second time staying here at Trs Yucatan and would definitely recommend for your next adults only getaway! The resort is stunning the staff is super friendly and very helpful! Super safe place to travel love everything about it! Romeo is one the drivers at the resort and let me tell you this man is beyond kind and super helpful! He made our stay here at the resort beyond pleasant! Second time around with him was just as fun as the first time. He truly is an amazing addition to the staff at Trs Yucatan!

Luxurious Resort

TRS is a stunning resort that has tasty food, fun activities, and very helpful staff. Manuel Guerrero, in particular, was a very accommodating bell boy who made us feel welcome and even remembered our names during our stay. Hope to return one day.

TRS IS THE BEST

What a great experience, from the moment we arrived to the resort and checked into the hotel - til checkout. Upon checking in, we were given hats as well as champagne and given the option to upgrade to Premium and I would 100% recommend it especially if you are there for 5 nights, worth the upgrades. My friends and I did that and enjoyed all the premium amenities that was offered. Everyone at TRS is friendly, helpful and great. Shoutout to our butlers, Belen and Gabriel for going above and beyond to help our first time be a great experience. They were very helpful and helped us with booking our massages, dinner reservations and answered any questions! MariaFer was amazing, my husband and friends enjoyed the Casino night that was hosted at the resort! She was friendly and welcoming! My husband and I enjoyed the Spa as well - the hydrotherapy was fun and our massages relaxed us from head to toe! THIS IS AN AMAZING ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT, WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND COME BACK.

Private cabana

We were gifted a day on the saltwater pool in a cabana. When we got here, we were greeted by Ivan. He was fantastic and so attentive. He explained what we were getting for seafood, offered us sunscreen and aloe. He was great at bringing the drinks back down to us and saving me from the iguanas lol! Overall, very good service!
