Step 3: Add Your Passengers Using the plus sign on the passenger count, add however many people will be joining you. Please note that we require a two-passenger minimum for a flight and we can take up to 3 people per tour. If your group is larger than 3 we can split you into consecutive flights.

Step 4: Pick Your Day and Time Our availability is always changing, but the calendar on our website stays up to date immediately. Pick a date and time listed on the calendar that works for you.

We have different helicopter models that can accommodate different group sizes. We require a two-passenger minimum for our tours, but our Robinson R44 helicopter can hold up to 3 passengers per flight, while our Bell 206 helicopter can hold up to 6 passengers. We have a large fleet of helicopters and can accommodate groups of all sizes. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway for two or a group tour with family or friends, we can help make it happen. Please note that if your group is larger than the capacity of one helicopter, we can split your group into consecutive flights so everyone can enjoy the experience.

If your flight is cancelled due to weather, we understand that this can be disappointing. However, safety is our top priority and we want to ensure that all of our flights are conducted in a safe and secure manner.

If your flight is impacted by weather, we will work with you to reschedule your flight to the date and time of your choosing. Our team will work with you to find a convenient date and time for your rescheduled flight that works with your schedule.

We are a 5 minute walk from the South Ferry subway station; this is the last stop on the 1 train Downtown. If you are using Google Maps or Apple Maps, enter “Downtown Manhattan Heliport” as the address. If you are driving, there is no parking at the heliport but there is a parking garage at the intersection of South Street & Whitehall Street, South St & Old Slip Rd or at the South Street Seaport (Pier 17).

You’ll fly in a Robinson R44 which has window seats for 3 passengers. Robinson helicopters provide a smooth ride, and since every seat has a window, you will have panoramic views to last a lifetime.

Flying is available all year round, seven days a week. Flights are weather dependent and may be postponed in adverse conditions. In the event that your tour is postponed, a mutually convenient alternative date will be scheduled with you.

The pilot will talk to you and point out all of the area’s amazing highlights as you glide over them. All passengers will be wearing headsets so you are also able to talk amongst yourselves in the helicopter. If you wish, the pilot can activate a mute feature on his headset to allow you some privacy with your guest.

During this tour, you will be dropped off in a remote bay from where you need to make your way back to “civilization”. There are multiple trails to choose from, ranging from intermediate to professional. Immerse yourself in commanding scenery and take part in an adventure that will stick with you through a lifetime. Note: tours are unguided and previous experience is recommended. Maps are provided to participants and it is recommended to read the Catalina Island Conservancy’s hiking tips . Fly between Manhattan and JFK or Newark. Skip the traffic and get there in 5 minutes. Traveling between NYC and area airports is unpredictable and can take hours, but with a helicopter you avoid the stress, traffic and the unpredictable. The helicopter can fly from Midtown or Downtown Manhattan, depending on your preference. Cancel at least 48 hours before the tour start date for a full refund. In the event of rain or poor visibility, we will contact you in good time and rebook your helicopter flight or refund your money or the difference for a VIP SUV airport transfer. Helicopter seats up to 5 people.
