Jim Gaffigan is a six-time Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy winning top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. He is known around the world for his unique brand of humor, which largely revolves around his observations on life. Tickets for his 2022 The Fun Tour, are currently on sale, and his 2023 Dark Pale Tour goes on sale Friday, October 7, 2022.

A top ten comedian according to Forbes' 2019 comedy list, Jim released his 8th stand-up special, The Pale Tourist, on Amazon. He was also recently awarded for being the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora. His 9th stand-up special, Comedy Monster, premiered on Netflix last December.

Up next, Gaffigan will be seen as the lead in the Sci-Fi dramedy, Linoleum, and will star as Mr. Smee in Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy, opposite Jude Law and Yara Shahidi. He will also co-star Jerry Seinfeld , Melissa McCarthy , James Marsden , and Hugh Grant in Netflix's Unfrosted, and co-stars in the independent film Susie Searches which premiered at TIFF this year. HBO Max recently announced Gaffigan joined the cast of Full Circle, a limited series from Steve Soderbergh and Ed Solomon which follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day NY.

Gaffigan was also recently heard in Disney/Pixar's highly anticipated film, Luca, opposite Jacob Tremblay and Maya Rudolph .

On the silver screen, his many credits include Three Kings, Super Troopers 1 & 2, and Chappaquiddick. 2019 was Gaffigan's biggest year to date with an astonishing eight films releasing, three which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival including Troop Zero with Viola Davis and Alison Janney , Them That Follow and Light From Light - with many festival goers and press calling Gaffigan the "King of Sundance."

Jim Gaffigan , the comedian from Indiana, was performing live at the DTE Energy center. I would say that his performance highlighted his unique style. Jim speaks really well, and I can appreciate that as did every member in the audience. He was in tune with the audience who were always very amused or laughing a lot. His performance was very good, cracking jokes about being a father of many and being from Indiana. His jokes would be funny to almost everyone, that’s just the guy he is. You can be from any place and you would be laughing at his comedy wholeheartedly. His type of jokes are just relatable to any person, from any walk of life in my opinion. He is not only a gifted comedian, he entertains and is in sync with the crowd. It feels like we are all having fun together. The performance was outside, and many hundreds crowded around to hear his amazing performance. It felt very relaxed sitting by the comedian or just sitting on the grass a bit further away. Overall, it was just quality entertainment. His jokes are very relatable and you’ll find yourself laughing and having a god time for certain.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan will be in Buffalo, New York, with his “Barely Alive Tour” Feb. 8-10, 2024.

The show will feature “all new material.”

Gaffigan has been nominated seven times for a Grammy Award and has won three Emmys. He is a best-selling author, recording artist and actor.

Jerry Seinfeld Says 'Movie Business Is Over' and Has Been Replaced by 'Disorientation'

The 'Unfrosted' director and star also pointed to depression, malaise, and confusion as having replaced "the movie business."

Jerry Seinfeld , whose feature directorial debut Unfrosted arrives next month, says the movie business has been replaced by constant "disorientation."

Indeed, in a recent interview with Brett Martin for GQ , the decades-strong comedian reflected on the experience of helming his first-ever feature while praising the "dead serious" hard work of the entire team behind the Netflix film. Per Seinfeld, who last went the film route by starring in and co-writing 2007’s Bee Movie , these individuals "don’t have any idea that the movie business is over."

Elaborating further, Seinfeld gave his assessment of film’s current moment, arguing that movies don’t "occupy the pinnacle in the social, cultural hierarchy" as they did before. But Seinfeld does have some theories on what may have taken film's place.

"Depression? Malaise? I would say  confusion ," he said in the interview, available here . "Disorientation replaced the movie business. Everyone I know in show business, every day, is going,  What’s going on? How do you do this? What are we supposed to do now? "

Unfrosted , also starring Melissa McCarthy and Jim Gaffigan, takes viewers back to 1963 Michigan, where a battle for what ultimately becomes Pop-Tarts takes center stage. As Seinfeld himself recently explained, while the battle between Kellogg’s and Post did indeed transpire, the rest of his film " is complete lunacy ." The cast also counts Hugh Grant, Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, Adrian Martinez, Fred Armisen, Christian Slater, and more.

This month, Seinfeld popped in on Curb Your Enthusiasm for the beloved HBO comedy's series finale, which brilliantly brought the shared worlds of Curb and Seinfeld to a close by repeating the latter's finale 1998 finale. It was a move fans had been theorizing about since Curb 's final season began, and one would have a hard time imagining any better or more befitting a sendoff for Larry David 's undeniable classic.

Meanwhile, Seinfeld is set to be on the road through at least October, starting with back-to-back shows at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa later this week. Seinfeld is also set to hit Louisville, Nashville, New Orleans, Perth Sydney, and more in the coming weeks.

 In 2021 Gaffigan released his 9th special, Comedy Monster, on Netflix which was nominated for a Grammy Award.  He was also recently awarded for being the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora. 

 Gaffigan can currently be seen as the lead in the well-reviewed Sci-Fi dramedy, Linoleum, and stars as Mr. Smee in Disney’s Peter Pan and Wendy, opposite Jude Law and Yara Shahidi. He will also co-star Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden, and Hugh Grant in Netflix’s Unfrosted, and co-stars in Susie Searches which premiered at TIFF last year and in theaters this summer. Also premiering this summer, Gaffigan joined the cast of HBO Max’s Full Circle, a limited series from Steve Soderbergh and Ed Solomon which follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day NY. 

 On the silver screen, his many credits include Three Kings, Super Troopers 1 & 2, and Chappaquiddick. 2019 was Gaffigan’s biggest year to date with an astonishing eight films releasing, three which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival including Troop Zero with Viola Davis and Alison Janney, Them That Follow and Light From Light – with many festival goers and press calling Gaffigan the “King of Sundance.”   Gaffigan was also recently heard in Disney/Pixar’s highly anticipated animated film, Luca, opposite Jacob Tremblay and Maya Rudolph. 

Gaffigan also had two films recently in which he debuted as the lead. The comedic film Being Frank, and American Dreamer, a dark thriller which was the grand finale of 2019 for Jim and features him as a ride share driver who moonlights as a private driver for a drug dealer. 

 Gaffigan can also currently be seen opposite Ethan Hawke in IFC Films Tesla, as well as opposite Josh Hartnett in Saban Films’ Most Wanted.

In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical The Jim Gaffigan Show, which he wrote and produced with his wife Jeannie, Gaffigan has guest starred on many television comedies and dramas, ranging from Portlandia and Bob’s Burgers to the HBO cult hits Flight of the Concords to dramatic roles in Law & Order.

Assisted listening devices are available upon request from the Concierge Desk located in the Box Office Lobby on West Main Street. A valid driver’s license or photo ID will be requested as a deposit for the equipment. We offer two types of receivers, and stock enough of each type to meet ADA requirements according to the percentage of audience capacity. The receivers we distribute most often are the stethoset variety, which includes integrated earbud-style transducers, and are worn like a stethoscope.

We also offer pendant or necklace receivers, which come on their own lanyard and feature a 3.5mm (1/8") connector, which is the standard headphone connection found on smartphones, iPods, ADA ATM cash machines, etc. We can provide these pendant receivers with inductive neck loops, which allow compatibility with T-Coil hearing aids. These receivers are also compatible with cochlear implants featuring 3.5mm Direct Audio Input, personal headphones, or any other device that has a 3.5mm audio input.
