DepartureATX is a Texas-sized tribute band dedicated to the music of Journey and other favorite artists of the Arena Rock era.  The seeds were planted in 2010, when long-time friends Joel Godson (Bass/Backing Vocal) and Jesse Monaghan (Lead Guitar) were looking to form a Journey tribute band and teamed up with various players for a few years until finally connecting with cover scene veterans, Mark Ramsey (Keys/backing vocal) and Scott Olsen (Drums/backing vocal). Ramsey reached out to a friend, Ryan Holley (Lead Vocal), and DepartureATX was formed. Since it's debut in 2015, the Austin TX-based band has gained a  wide and loyal fan base and now regularly travels throughout the state, performing on large stages in big cities and iconic, smaller venues.

DepartureATX puts on a high energy rock show, the way it was intended. Each member of the band holds an impressive musical resume, from being classically trained to opening for major talent. It's no surprise then, that when performing Journey hits, DepartureATX is known for attention to detail, but also for adding individual elements of live musical intensity. Audiences will hear not only the best Journey tribute band, but also other favorite songs from the Arena Rock era's biggest names to round off a truly unforgettable, live music experience. .  

ESCAPE-A Tribute to Journey

ESCAPE is a Houston based group committed to taking you back through the years of Journey, From hits like “Separate Ways” and “Open Arms” to lesser known titles like “Dixie Highway.” ESCAPE will take you through a performance of music that you have not heard before replicated.

Founded in 2000 by current members Bobby Cayton and Joel Gregoire, ESCAPE has performed in countless venues and in front of thousands. In addition to the ESCAPE project influencing the tribute scene in Houston, TX, they continue to perform in front of thousands a year and leaving all their fans singing along to the timeless music that only Journey can do.

Eclipse A Tribute To Journey is a regional touring act performing throughout Texas cities such as San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston, New Mexico, Laredo, Eagle Pass, McAllen, Corpus Christi, El Paso and Baton Rouge, LA. With their unique and eclectic stage performances as well as engaging with their fans during every show, they have been received with open arms by many. Eclipse already is a force to be reckoned with and playing to full capacity crowds with no signs of slowing down. Eclipse was honored to open for rock legends such as Eddie Money, FOGHAT, The Starship just to name a few and electrified the sold-out crowds with JOURNEY’s all-time hits! What once was an underground movement out of San Antonio, TX is now becoming the household definition for an “unforgettable” live performance. Eclipse covers all the hits that Journey fans young and old alike have come to love over the years. Step back in time to experience the story as it begins with Gregg Rolie (David Krol) and legendary frontman Steve Perry (Larry Pascale) together on stage, performing the early hits, just as you remember them.

Watch as the band transforms with Jonathan Cain (David Krol) and his trademark red grand piano and hear them play some of the biggest songs in rock history.

Classic Journey Live, with its incredible attention to detail, leaves nothing to be desired.

Immerse yourself in the most detailed replication of Journey to date. The clothes, hairstyles, lights, musical gear, stage, vocals and all the sounds that are Journey combine to create a living tribute to one of rock’s greatest bands.
