The day before Madonna makes her first appearance of the year on U.S. television, her record company, Warner Music Group , has issued the press release announcing the upcoming release of The Confessions Tour on DVD+CD that MadonnaTribe is happy to bring to you for the first time on a Madonna fansite.

Madonna’s record breaking Confessions Tour filmed at London’s Wembley Arena during her worldwide sold-out 25-City run in 2006 is scheduled to be released as a DVD/CD on sale January 30th, it was announced today by Warner Bros. Records.

The highest-grossing tour ever by a female artist, “ The Confessions Tour – Live from London ” DVD, first broadcast on NBC last November, includes songs that span the course of Madonna’s extraordinary career. “Like A Virgin,” “Hung Up,” “Erotica” and “Music” are just a few of the hits that can be seen on the DVD and heard on the bonus CD included in the package as well as several songs from her “Confessions On A Dance Floor” CD which debuted at No. 1 in 29 countries.

In addition, “The Confessions Tour” DVD includes bonus footage, which did not appear on the broadcast, including Madonna’s early classic hit “Lucky Star” as well as the full unedited version of the controversial performance of “Live To Tell.” The “Confessions” DVD will have never before seen rehearsal footage and a unique photo gallery. The DVD was directed by Jonus Akerlund . The show was directed for the stage by Jamie King . Musical Director was Stuart Price .

The pop spectacle of the year — a politically charged combination of Cirque du Soleil, performance-art commentary and dance party explosion that more or less sums up everything she has been striving to say and show this decade… it’s quite possibly the best production she’s ever concocted,” raved the Orange County Register in their review of Madonna’s show.

Madonna is scheduled to appear on tomorrow’s (January 11th) airing of “ The Late Show with David Letterman ,” make a live appearance on the “ Today ” Show and “ Live with Regis and Kelly ” – to promote the film, “Arthur and The Invisibles” – and will also host a screening of the film in Tribecca.

“I want to turn the world into one big dance floor,” claimed the Material Girl when The Confessions Tour began. Now, the singer, songwriter, video visionary, designer, producer, children’s book author and artist, who has enthralled millions of fans all over the world and has sold 200 million plus CDs, is extending that commitment to the living rooms of the world.”

Listen for the Music, Look for the Muscles

Will Madonna ever get old? She may acquire more gravitas, continue to mature emotionally and find greater meaning in her work with kabbalah, but will she ever come to look arthritic, puffy, menopausal? This increasingly seems doubtful. Madonna no longer reinvents, she maintains.

It is the sheer spectacularity of her physical form, the near menacing force of it, and largely that alone, that sustains your attention in “Madonna: The Confessions Tour, Live From London,” the two-hour film of a concert she gave at the Wembley Arena in London this past summer, which was broadcast on NBC Wednesday night and will be shown on Bravo next week.

With each tour Madonna has embarked on in recent years, her deltoids appear to have grown more regally expansive, robust and winglike. Toward the end of the Wembley show, part of a worldwide tour pegged to her album “Confessions on a Dance Floor,” Madonna sings one of the hits from it, “Hung Up,” a song about a woman who migrates between boredom and agony as she waits for a man to call. But who could this man possibly be? Unless Madonna is expecting a call from Wladimir Klitschko about meeting him in the ring, the sight of her singing a song like this, in a leotard no less, leaves you feeling as you might if you were forced to watch Ethel Merman trying to impersonate Chet Baker.

The show pays tribute to Madonna’s current and former selves and does so with dizzying jump cuts and all the spectacle — the acrobatics, playground sets, endless costume changes — that have become the hallmark of her concerts.

Today, Madonna, who is 48, is a concerned citizen of the world. She has made African AIDS orphans one of her causes and wants to adopt a child from Malawi, causing some controversy. At one point in the concert, she sings “Live to Tell” against the backdrop of images of children in Africa and a speeding tally of the number who have been left parentless. But here again, her perfect musculature produces a kind of dissonance. Madonna doesn’t have an altruist’s body, she has a denier’s. What you’re tallying in your head when you watch her dance with the strength and agility of a 19-year-old are the number of hours she spends each day practicing Ashtanga yoga, running hills and bench-pressing the weight of a Regency table. You are tallying all the calories that Madonna is not eating.

In addition to keeping up her legendary physical regimen, Madonna now also rides horses on her country estate in England. Some critics have seen this as another aspect of her Anglophilic pretensions, but what is really surprising is that it took her so long to cotton to a sport so steeped in the dynamic of submission and control. Madonna the equestrian seems the most inevitable Madonna of all. Perhaps realizing that on some level, she opened her Wembley show looking as if she were about to ride in a reimagining of Ascot. She danced around, directing men on all fours before she rode an apparatus meant to look like an electric horse.

Madonna travels backward in the show to the beginning of her career, the time before she was encumbered with the need to do good. The documentary “I’m Going to Tell You a Secret,” which follows her on her 2004 world tour, reveals a Madonna who wants to learn all the time, who hugs her assistant and dancers, who wishes she’d been nicer to people when she was young. Perhaps she knows that many in her audience miss the Madonna of so many Madonnas ago, the one who refused refinement and probably thought Oxford was just an insurance company.

“The Confessions Tour” gets deeper and deeper into her early disco years as it progresses, with Madonna getting in and out of a “Saturday Night Fever” tuxedo and Jane Fonda-esque aerobics gear before it’s all over, as if to tell us that sometimes, yes, she misses herself too.

The Confessions Tour , filmed at London's Wembley Arena during her worldwide sold-out 25-city Confessions Tour (2006's top-grossing tour world-wide), features songs from throughout the dance diva's career but largely focuses on Confessions On A Dance Floor .

The world can't get enough of Madonna, and with CD/DVD sets like The Confessions Tour dropping regularly, it's little wonder why. As a thrower of fantasy dance parties, she is peerless. As a physical role model for the 40-ish women who grew up on her music, she rules. And as an arbiter of what's going to sound shockingly original in any given decade--well, duh. The Confessions Tour rounds up songs from way back--"Ray of Light" and "La Isla Bonita" make the DVD, and "Lucky Star" and "Like a Virgin" are on the CD as well as the DVD--but this concert, filmed in 2006 at London's Wembley Arena, aims its sturdiest spotlight on Confessions on a Dance Floor, Madge's 2005 disco disc. You could argue, then, that unless you're in it for the sheer DVD spectacle (and what a spectacle it is), there's no sense in owning this package. Only you wouldn't be right. Because as any on-the-ball Madonna fan knows, what she's doing musically is telling a story--you may already know the characters, but that doesn't mean she hasn't completely reworked the plot. To that end, "I Love New York" gets its rock on, "Let It Will Be" has a musical temper tantrum, and "Hung Up" goes for the drama queen award. You've heard these songs before, but you've never heard them quite like this, to borrow a bad informercial phrase. As twisted and hopped-up as they've become, they're all worth getting to know again. --Tammy La Gorce

Madonna has just one show left on her current itinerary, a free concert on May 4 at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, that Visit Rio officials said is forecast to bring in two million fans. Entrance to the show, sponsored by Itaú Bank, is on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event. Fans who can’t attend will be able to watch the show broadcast live on TV Globo.

Mexico City hosted Madonna for a series of five concerts at the Palacio De Los Deportes. Last weekend, on Saturday, April 20, the singer spoke of her love of Mexican culture and Kahlo, telling the audience how she discovered the painter’s art as a young girl.

“As you know, I have a great history, a long history with Mexico,” said Madonna, who reportedly met with the Kahlo family at their home in the city neighborhood of El Pedregal.

“When I was a girl,” she said, “I discovered Frida Kahlo. I went to the only museum that existed in Detroit, and there were Diego Rivera murals everywhere, but to be honest, I was more interested in a small picture in a corner, of a beautiful woman with her hair gathered in braids and intense eyes.”

The Celebration Tour kicked off in the fall, after a delayed start due to Madonna’s hospitalization for a serious bacterial infection over the summer.

Look around and you just may find yourself amid a Pet Shop Boys renaissance.

Of course, the English duo — consisting of Neil Tennant, 69, and Chris Lowe, 64 — never went anywhere. They have been steadily putting out music since their landmark 1984 debut, Please , which instantly established them with timeless songs like “West End Girls” and “Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots of Money).”

Tennant and Lowe sat with The Hollywood Reporter recently to relive their headiest career moments — from basking in the glow of the neon Pet Shop Boys billboard that once adorned Sunset Boulevard to their days sipping tea at The Savoy with the Rat Pack.

This is such an exciting moment for me. You guys are like my Beatles. The soundtrack of my life.

NEIL TENNANT Oh, God.

CHRIS LOWE Wow. That’s going in the press release. 

Right before the pandemic, you announced the tour with New Order. I bought tickets, and then boom, everything shut down. Did the first single from the new album, “Loneliness,” come out of that period?

TENNANT “Loneliness” was actually the last track written for the whole album. So it was at the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, around the end of 2022. But it’s definitely the one most influenced by COVID, by the isolation. Chris sent me the track, which is really quite “up” sounding, and I’d already written this lyric about “where you’re going to run to now from loneliness” in my notebook. And so I just started to sing it to the chorus part and that just filled it all in, really. It’s classic Pet Shop Boys in that it’s a happy track with a sad lyric. But it’s quite a defiant lyric, as well. It’s trying to help someone.

TENNANT He hears “Rhythm Is A Dancer” on the radio. Yeah. Well, there’s always lots of miserablism in the Pet Shop Boys, you know? Again, though, it has a happy ending.

Exactly. I love this through line in your work — that somehow music can pull you out of these dark places.

TENNANT Well, I think that’s true. I think we both think that. I think we both use music for that, as well.

And I think your music has done that for so many people.

TENNANT That would be nice if it had. That’s definitely one of the functions we see for music, to accompany you through all the phases and moods of your life and to help you when necessary — and to bring joy and happiness as well.

I am curious what your process is. Is it a two-room type thing, like with Elton John and Bernie Taupin?

TENNANT Well, it changed. When we started — and for many, many, many years, until actually very recently — we might bring things into the studio separately, but we’d be in the same room. But then with the pandemic, we were in separate houses. So Chris suggested to me that I learn how to program, which I never thought was my function. So I learned how to use Garage Band on my computer. And that was sort of surprisingly fun, actually.

Chris, do you ever write lyrics?

LOWE No. God no. I’m virtually illiterate.

But you split all the writing credits like Lennon/McCartney did — Tennant/Lowe.

TENNANT Yes, absolutely.

TENNANT Actually, The Beatles had that argument after they split up.

LOWE They split up after they split up. But Spandau Ballet, I mean, they’re the classic example.

TENNANT Then there’s [Oasis’] Noel [and Liam Gallagher]…

Funny you should bring Noel Gallagher up. Did you hear the nice things he said about you ?

TENNANT We did, yes. Suddenly Noel Gallagher became a Pet Shop Boys fan.

LOWE He came to see us at Glastonbury. He was already at Glastonbury, obviously, but he actually made the effort to come and see us, rather than go and see…

TENNANT Kendrick Lamar.

LOWE He chose us.

You’ve been taking your greatest hits show, Dreamland, all over the world. I assume it’s the one I saw at the Hollywood Bowl?

TENNANT The Hollywood Bowl shows were great shows. What a fantastic venue that is.

LOWE It was just magical playing there.

I once read that your 2012 album Elysium was named after Elysian Park, which is near where I live in L.A. Is that true?

TENNANT Yeah. We were in L.A. for two-and-a-half months making that album, and we were living above Beverly Hills. But we did the photo session in Elysian Park. And that’s where the idea for Elysium came from, the park name. Because we were struggling with an album title.

I remember seeing TMZ chasing you down one day. Do you remember that?

TENNANT Yes! We had just come out of a tea shop.

TENNANT I was thinking, “Wait a minute, we’re not famous enough. We’re not Kim Kardashian.”

That’s what you said.

TENNANT Did I actually say that?

If you’re going to get stopped by any paparazzo, you want TMZ . That’s the creme de la creme.

TENNANT Yeah, you do.

I know you went to Madonna ‘s greatest hits tour recently. Over the years, I’ve heard different Madonna rumors about Pet Shop Boys. One was that the 1987 song “Heart” — which features Ian McKellan as Dracula in the music video — was written for her. Is that true?

TENNANT No, we wrote “Heart,” and we thought it would be great for Madonna. We didn’t send it to her. But we mentioned that in an interview, and people often mention it.

The other rumor is the Madonna album that became 2008’s Hard Candy , that Pet Shop Boys were supposed to produce that album.

LOWE We’re not the go-to for [R&B].

TENNANT Weirdly, we wrote quite a good R&B track, but she never heard it.

But you are good at rap, and “New London Boy,” a new song from Nonetheless , has I think your best rap since “West End Girls.”

TENNANT I love my rap in it. People keep pointing out it’s the same rhythm as “West End Girls.” I do early ’80s rap. I do Grandmaster Flash rap. That’s my style. I have actually done more up-to-date rap, but as Chris pointed out, it takes too many words.

It seems like there’s a lot of throwback to your earliest work in the new album. Was that intentional?

TENNANT Not really, no. I mean, we are those people still. When Chris sent through the track for “Dancing Star,” I thought that sounds like Madonna’s first album, which is still my favorite album. I don’t know if that’s where the “Dancing Star” title came from [which Chris came up with himself]. Was that intentional?

LOWE No, it’s just what I did. But the sound of the record is very much early analog synths, and so it has a purity of sound.

Are they actual vintage synths that you’re using?

LOWE James Ford, the producer, has got a room full of them, and old drum machines, old analog synths, the whole thing. And that’s basically the sound of this record.

TENNANT In our heads, in our mouths. We worked with this photographer, Tim Walker, and that was his idea. As soon as we saw it, it was immediately a very strong image. We thought, “Well, that’s the album cover.”

LOWE I like your interpretation, and we will be repeating it.

You reinvigorated two classic acts, Liza Minnelli [with the 1989 album Results ] and Dusty Springfield [with the 1987 smash “What Have I Done to Deserve This?” ]. What was working with Liza like?

TENNANT Our then-manager, Tom Watkins, had this group called Bros who were a big teen thing for a moment in Britain. He went to America to meet with Sony. And the A&R guy said, “We’ve just signed Liza Minnelli.” I mean the amazing thing about working with Dusty, you get offered everything. That’s how the music industry works. We got offered every female singer. And Liza was really special because, for our generation, she’s Cabaret . In 1973, you’ve got David Bowie, and you’ve got Cabaret . And that all filters into punk rock, as well. It was a big popular culture moment, Liza Minnelli in Cabaret .

And so we were immediately intrigued by this idea. So Liza was in London playing with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. And we met her in a suite at the Mayfair Hotel. And we went up in the lift to meet. And we walked down the corridor and rang the doorbell of the suite. And Liza answered it, and the three of us all laughed. We just burst out laughing. Because it was so ridiculous.

TENNANT She is Liza. She’s Liza in real life.

LOWE She is Liza. Fantastic.

TENNANT And, of course, we’re us in real life. And we all laughed. And that was that. We’re doing the album. And we did some demos in New York and then we just got down to it. We only had 10 weeks. The album had a budget, which we weren’t familiar with the concept of, and we did it. And that’s why we did cover versions — because we didn’t have time to write more songs.

LOWE Consequently we ended up at this amazing dinner for Frank, Liza, and…

TENNANT And Sammy.

LOWE In this huge room in the Savoy Hotel. We made an entrance.

TENNANT Everyone was there. And Liza was very good at making an entrance. And so the three of us came in, us on either arm with Liza, and she was worried that Frank was going to be in a mood because Chris wasn’t wearing a suit. But then he was very nice to us, actually.

LOWE Yeah. And we saw Frank Sinatra backstage just before we went on stage at the Royal Albert Hall, and that was something you’d never forget.

TENNANT He came out with a glass of bourbon or whiskey, or whatever it was he drank, and there’s a slope, and he’s wearing his shiny patent leather shoes. And he just slid down it with his bourbon. He looked like someone who meant mischief.

LOWE Yeah, definitely had a twinkle.

LOWE Doesn’t get any better than that, does it?

TENNANT I mean, to be called, “You cats” by Sammy Davis Jr. is a real career high. And actually, he told us — this is a showbiz exclusive for you — that he wanted to play the Phantom of the Opera. And I think he even was in conversation with Andrew Lloyd Weber about doing that.

LOWE And then of course we went to see him in a cabaret. Not the musical.

At an actual cabaret.

LOWE Was it in one of Trump’s places?

TENNANT It was in Atlantic City.

LOWE In Atlantic City. Oh, Liza did this amazing thing. I said, “You do know, Neil, that she’s going to put the spotlight on us because I know how showbiz works.” And he was like, “No, no, she won’t. She won’t do that.” Anyway, so of course, “Oh, it’s amazing. I’ve got Neil Tennant! The Pet Shop Boys are here.” Anyway, so we didn’t stand up, which of course is the showbiz tradition. So the audience had to stand up to look at us.

TENNANT I was worried that Liza thought we were very weird.

Whose idea was it to have her cover Stephen Sondheim’s “Losing My Mind?”

What an amazing cover.

TENNANT Stephen Sondheim’s only had two chart hits, in Britain, anyway. “Send In The Clowns” by Judy Collins and “Losing My Mind” by Liza Minnelli. I saw an interview where Sondheim said, “The Pet Shop Boys did a rock version.” I was just intrigued he thought it was a rock version.

If there were two bands that really defined my personality as a teen, it was you guys and The Smiths. You guys have kept this beautiful partnership going. And I don’t know what the hell happened with [Smiths co-founders] Johnny Marr and Morrissey, but it really went down the toilet.

TENNANT A long time ago.

So what’s the secret to a happy musical marriage? How do you keep the magic alive?

TENNANT Well, because Morrissey is Morrissey. But [Chris and I] have always got on well.

LOWE Mm-hm.

TENNANT We like doing it. We’re probably loyal people, but we like writing songs, really. I don’t know if it’s true, but maybe for The Smiths, it was a restriction for Johnny. I don’t know. Whatever it was, it wasn’t good. But Pet Shop Boys is not a restriction. You can pretty much do everything in it. You can go from minimal dance records to show tunes with everything in between. People think all our records sound the same, but they don’t. There’s a wide range.

We love this new album we made and the tour is really fun to do. It sounds like a sort of naff idea, doing a greatest hits tour, but actually, our greatest are quite varied. Some of the songs are very strange. Every night I think what a weird song “So Hard” is. And it was the first single from an album. It’s about two gay guys accusing each other of infidelity, with a double entendre as the title.

Have you guys ever come out officially? I think you’re thought of as a gay band, but have you?

TENNANT I came out in 1994.

LOWE Came out of what? You came out of Newcastle.

TENNANT Yeah, that was in 1992.

LOWE And I came out of Blackpool.

TENNANT That was quite enough coming out for that day.

LOWE One of the high points in our career was our neon sign on Sunset Boulevard. I don’t know if you ever saw it. You’re not old enough. You weren’t born.

TENNANT It was in 1986.

I was very much born, but I was living in Montreal at the time.

LOWE Oh, what a shame. Because it was a pink neon sign. On the top of the EMI building, which was on Sunset. And the first time we went to L.A., we could not believe it. Because at the magic hour…

TENNANT It looked so gorgeous. So elegant. It said “Pet Shop Boys” and then you drove past and it said, “Please.” People used to say to us, “Oh, are you the Pet Shop Boys? I like your sign.” It was there for a year. I felt very sad when it went down.

LOWE Yeah, it looked so gorgeous.

TENNANT It was on the cover of Smash Hits . So you can see a picture of it.

Just a Few of the Biggest Concert Tours of 2024, from Olivia Rodrigo to Bad Bunny

Listening to your favorite musician at home is fun, but there's nothing quite like the experience of singing along with them, and tons of more fans, live. And as luck would have it, 2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for some of the world's top musical acts, so chances are your favorite performer might be stopping at a city near you soon.

Ahead, we rounded up some of the biggest concert tours of 2024, ranging from Taylor Swift's mega-popular Eras Tour to Drake and J. Cole's exciting It's All A Blur Tour - Big as the What?—set to kick off this winter. You can also expect tour dates from classic icons like Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

1) Taylor Swift

Undoubtedly one of the biggest concert tours ever, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour will continue right through 2024. The international leg of the tour kicked off in Japan, where she played four shows in Tokyo. She'll also stop in Melbourne, Singapore, Paris, Madrid, London, Milan, and more before returning to the States to play in the fall.

There's nothing like seeing T. Swift IRL, but don't fret if you're unable to nab tickets—the Eras Tour movie is now available to stream from the comfort of your home.

2) Olivia Rodrigo

This is not a drill—"Drivers License" singer Olivia Rodrigo will be hitting the road on tour starting at the end of February. The Guts World Tour runs from February through mid-August and has dates in Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and New York City, among others. Even cooler? Rodrigo will have a stacked list of special guests—like PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, The Breeders, and Chappell Roan—with her.

3) Red Hot Chili Peppers

Did you hear the good news? The Red Hot Chili Peppers have extended their global tour through summer 2024. The buzzy stadium tour, which kicked off in June 2022, will now run until July 2024 and bring the California-based band to places like Los Angeles, Tampa, Toronto, and Salt Lake City.

4) Bad Bunny

It's fitting that "Monaco" rapper Bad Bunny titled his tour Most Wanted —it's slated to be one of the year's hottest tours. Planned to help promote his latest studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , Most Wanted will kick off in Salt Lake City on February 21 and run through May 26.

5) Billy Joel

If you haven't yet seen Billy Joel perform live, there's still time! The Piano Man has added more tour dates to his schedule, stopping in cities like Tampa, New York, Denver, and St. Louis this year. Even more exciting? He'll share the stage with fellow iconic performers Sting and Stevie Nicks for some of these dates.

Mitski recently announced that she's expanding her North American tour dates , and we couldn't be more excited. The months-long tour, which supports her 2023 studio album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, has a long list of stops, including Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Paris.

There's nothing quite like a Madonna concert, that's for sure. The singer's Celebration Tour , which started last October, continues straight through the spring with dates in Seattle, San Francisco, Mexico City, and more. Besides her eye-catching sets, chart-topping songs, and impressive choreography, concertgoers also get a glimpse of the performer's fantastic costumes, which include looks from Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier.

8) Bleachers

The New Jersey-founded rock band, which is fronted by Jack Antonoff—known for producing albums for top acts like Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey—not only has announced a new album but a new tour , too. The tour will start in the UK in March, ending fittingly in the band's home state of New Jersey in mid-June. Check out their newly released music video for "Tiny Moves" if you need a Bleachers fix in the meantime.

9) Nicki Minaj

Nicki fans rejoice: the rapper and singer might be coming to a city near you soon as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The massive tour will include performances in Brooklyn, Oakland, and Baltimore, with stops at Dreamville Festival and Rolling Loud California along the way.

10) Blink 182

Live out all of your nineties and early aughts pop-punk dreams with one of Blink 182's One More Time Tour dates. The tour, which supports the band's ninth studio album, One More Time..., will bring the trio to cities all over the globe, including Sydney, Santiago, Portland, and Boston. The tour's supporting act is Pierce the Veil, which is also worth checking out.

11) Stevie Nicks

The oh-so-magical Stevie Nicks continues her touring streak with a bunch of 2024 concert dates . Set to begin in Atlantic City, NJ on February 10, Nicks will visit a dozen cities throughout the U.S. this year, such as New Orleans, Omaha, and Chicago. "Let's keep this party going in 2024," the singer-songwriter posted on her Instagram in September to announce the newly added tour dates.

12) The 1975

The 1975 is showing no signs of slowing down. The British band, famous for hits like "Somebody Else" and "Robbers," has extended their 2023 tour through 2024. Titled Still...At Their Very Best , the 22-date tour will open in Glasgow on February 8 and conclude in Amsterdam on March 24.

13) Drake and J. Cole

Rap greats Drake and J. Cole come together for the It's All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? which is guaranteed to be a good time. Drake, fresh off his 2023 It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, is set to hit dozens of cities starting in February, many of which J. Cole will also be in tow for. Scoop up tickets ASAP, as Drake's shows are known to sell out.

14) Janet Jackson

Superstar Janet Jackson is also extending her 2023 tour, Together Again , into 2024 with dates in Anaheim, Austin, New Orleans, and Hartford. Even cooler? Jackson's supporting act is the 2000s southern rap legend Nelly.

15) Rolling Stones

If you've ever dreamed of seeing the Rolling Stones perform live in person, now's your chance. The iconic rockers, who released their studio album Hackney Diamonds this past fall, are returning on the road for a 16-date tour with shows throughout the United States and Canada. Concertgoers can expect a mix of new tunes and Stones classics.

16) Bruce Springsteen

Famous for countless listenable hits like "Born to Run" and "Glory Days," Bruce Springsteen is set to embark on a massive world tour this year with his band, The E Street Band. The much-anticipated tour will take the Boss and his crew to cities such as Phoenix, San Diego, Dublin, and Madrid, from March through November.

17) John Mayer

Be sure to catch John Mayer's solo tour this year, which will bring the guitarist and crooner to cities throughout Europe. This leg, an extension of his popular 2023 solo tour, will kick off in Stockholm on March 13 and finish in Dublin on March 29.

18) Shania Twain

Okay, this one is technically a residency , but we're excited nonetheless. Shania Twain, most known for her incredible outfits (her hooded leopard print look, anyone?) and hits like "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is setting up shop in Vegas starting May 10. Twain's residency will take place at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on and off throughout December 2024.

All good things must come to an end. The Eagles, known for "Hotel California" and other amazing rock songs, began their final concert tour this winter. It launched in Phoenix on January 20, with March 16 as its last date in the United States. Eagles fans won't want to miss this one.

20) Alanis Morisette: The Triple Moon Tour

Alanis Morisette joins forces with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for their 2024 Triple Moon Tour , which has dates in North America and Canada. This tour is a great one to catch this summer, as it's slated to run from June through August.

Glasgow Clyde College (GCC) has launched a Taylor Swift masterclass aimed at teaching parents and plus-ones about The Eras Tour set list and the singer's evolving wardrobe and hairstyles.

A Scottish college is offering a course on Taylor Swift to educate parents and carers accompanying children to the US singer's sold-out The Eras Tour.

More than 2.9 million fans attempted to secure tickets for the tour, and her sold-out concerts at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh are set to be watched live by 215,000 people.

Swift, 34, will perform in Edinburgh on 7, 8 and 9 June, with the crowd numbers expected to beat Harry Styles' record in 2023 for the biggest show in Scotland .

Glasgow Clyde College (GCC) has launched a masterclass aimed at teaching parents and plus-ones about the set list and Swift's evolving wardrobe and hairstyles.

It will cover crowd chants as well as her previous work, including albums Fearless and Folklore.

The free session is designed to help non-Swifties to get "up to speed" so they fully appreciate "iconic" moments in the set.

Robert Anderson, curriculum assistant principal at GCC, said: "Taylor mania doesn't seem to be slowing any time soon, and we expect it'll reach its peak here in Scotland in June.

"We understand that not everyone will be up to speed on all things Taylor and might not get the full Eras experience.

"That's why we created this masterclass - to prepare those who'll be heading along to the gig with their superfan kids, friends or partners to ensure they have just as memorable a time.

"Taylor's gigs are known for being so well crafted, and unless you're a fan yourself, you might miss some of the iconic moments.

"Our expert will take you through everything you need to know - leaving you a Swiftie in no time."

The one-off course, which is free, will take place from 6pm to 7.30pm on 7 May in the Innovation Centre at GCC's Langside Campus.
