Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting P!NK Summer Carnival 2024

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE: Pink is coming to Australia in 2024.

Pink is best known for incorporating circus elements including trapeze into her sets, which have been described more as a “spectacle” than simply a concert.

”I am so excited to finally get a chance to tour Australia and New Zealand in the summer!!” the singer said.

“I can’t wait to bring the Summer Carnival Tour to my home away from home, and smile and sing together until our cheeks hurt. Summer 2024 can’t come soon enough!”

Pink announces massive Aussie stadium tour for early 2024

Pink has announced she’ll embark on her first-ever Australian stadium tour in early 2024.

The singer has been one of this country’s most popular touring acts over the past 20 years, completing multiple exhaustive arena tours, each with dozens of shows – her 2009 Funhouse tour broke the record for the biggest tour in the country’s history, with more than 660,000 people attending.

But she’s never played stadiums in this country – until now.

Pink’s playing stadiums in Australia for the first time. Picture: AAP

The star’s Summer Carnival 2024 will commence in Sydney at Allianz Stadium on February 9 next year, followed by Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium on February 13, Suncorp Stadium Brisbane on February 16, Metricon Stadium Gold Coast on February 20, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on February 23, Adelaide Oval on February 27, and finishing up at Perth’s Optus Stadium on March 1. Support acts are yet to be announced.

By the time the shows take place, it will have been almost six years since Pink last toured this country, on her 2018 Beautiful Trauma tour.

Pink could’ve easily filled stadiums on several of her previous tours, but was understood to have preferred the relative intimacy of arena shows. It meant some mammoth Australian tours as the singer struggled to keep up with demand: her 2018 tour stretched to a massive 35 arena shows around the country.

Pink is embarking on a massive Aussie tour.

The tour announcement comes a week before the release of Pink’s ninth studio album, Trustfall . The album’s divisive lead single Never Gonna Not Dance Again has been a rare Australian chart miss, peaking at number 64 on the ARIA charts, however follow-up single Trustfall – a collaboration with so-hot-right-now dance producer Fred Again … – is currently racing up the charts.

She’s Still A Rock Star: P!NK Announces Huge Australian Tour For 2024

Profile picture of marie claire

The international queen of Australian tours is coming back! P!NK has announced a 2024 Australian tour, and we can already hear the smashing of keyboards to try and get a ticket.

The P!NK Summer Carnival 2024 tour will hit Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in February and March next year, coinciding with the release of her highly anticipated new album Trustfall .

“I am so excited to finally get a chance to tour Australia and New Zealand in the summer!!” the three-time Grammy Award winner said. “I can’t wait to bring the Summer Carnival Tour to my home away from home, and smile and sing together until our cheeks hurt. Summer 2024 can’t come soon enough.”

pink australian tour

It’s no secret that Australians love P!NK ( she’s even our March cover star ); she famously played a record-breaking 18 arena shows in Melbourne in 2013 for her Truth About Love tour, playing a staggering 46 arena shows around the country. It was the biggest selling our by a female solo artist in Australian history, with more than 600,000 Australians (roughly 2.6 percent of the population) seeing her live. Five of P!NK’s albums  — Hurts 2B Human , Funhouse , Greatest Hits… So Far!!! , The Truth About Love and Beautiful Trauma   — have reached #1 in Australia.

P!NK fans love her not just for her music, but for the 43-year-old’s outspoken personality. She’s never been afraid to share her raw thoughts on everything from motherhood to marriage , and brings a certain no-BS attitude to her concerts. “If anyone needs to pee later on, I have a toilet upstairs dedicated to me,” she joked to the Brisbane crowd during her 2009 tour. “Go and christen it.”

Clearly, we can’t get enough of P!NK. And if you can’t either, then keep reading for everything you need to know.

The itinerary now spans a massive 16 shows.

More Pink

P!nk has added two more dates to the itinerary for her upcoming Australian tour, alongside the news that Tones And I will be supporting her for the entire trek.

Dubbed the 2024 Summer Carnival tour, P!nk’s first trip Down Under since 2018 will kick off on Friday February 9, when she takes to Eora/Sydney’s Allianz Stadium. As announced back in February (and expanded in March), she’ll perform three shows there, as well as three each in Meanjin/Brisbane and Naarm/Melbourne, two in Boorloo/Perth and one each in Awakabal/Newcastle, Yugambeh/Gold Coast and Kaurna/Adelaide.

Confirmed today (August 14) was a fourth and final Melbourne date – scheduled for Wednesday March 13 at Marvel Stadium – as well as as a gig at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Thul Garrie Waja/Townsville on Saturday March 23.

Tickets for the new Melbourne show will go on sale at 12pm this Friday (August 18), while the Townsville show will go on sale an hour later at 1pm. There will also be a 24-hour presale for Live Nation members, starting at 11am Thursday (August 17) for Melbourne and 12pm for Townsville. See here for more info on both sales, and to grab tickets for the other 14 shows already announced.

In a statement shared upon the tour’s initial unveiling, P!nk said: “I am so excited to finally get a chance to tour Australia and New Zealand in the summer!! I can’t wait to bring the Summer Carnival tour to my home away from home, and smile and sing together until our cheeks hurt. Summer 2024 can’t come soon enough!”

Also announced today was the addition of Tones And I to P!nk’s touring party; the Melbourne-native pop star will open for all 16 shows on the run, making more than enough to pay off her recent fine from the Frankston Magistrates’ Court. Last month, the artist also known as Toni Watson broke the record for the highest-streamed song by a female artist, hitting a monumental ten billion streams for her single Dance Monkey .

Recent tour reviews

When I first bought the tickets they seemed expensive but having attended the show I think they were worth every penny.

I felt that Pink is an amazing entertainer who engaged with the audience and also showed appreciation for the other performers. Not only this but she has ( as evidenced by the video clips) done lots of ambassadorship things for worthy causes.

I felt she can across as a very warm caring person of incredible talent and I enjoyed the whole event.

Would definitely like to see her in concert again. Truly spectacular.

I had seen P!nk live at Madison Square Garden in NYC once before when she had started using the silks onstage, so I knew her shows were impressive. But nothing prepared me for last night. Not only does she entertain with a well-choreographed show, she’s humble, she’s funny and the show brims with passion. This is a well-rehearsed production, yet she still makes it feel spontaneous. There are lots of fast rock-out songs with pyrotechnics but also quiet moments where her voice shines during the ballads. Highlights for me were the nod to Gwen Stefani/No Doubt blend of Just a Girl with her own Funhouse and her flying all around the arena like Tinkerbell during So What. What a phenomenal show. What a phenomenal performance. P!nk sure gives you your money’s worth. I tend to avoid big stadium concerts, but for P!nk I’ll gladly make an exception. Go see her! You won’t regret it.

This tour date was my second time seeing P!NK on the Beautiful Trauma tour. (I got to travel to Charlottesville for a date on the tour in 2019.) When the Charlotte, NC, date was announced for this March, I had hoped to be able to go because it's near my birthday this time. This date was just as awesome. (I have listened to P!NK's albums since her first album was released when I was an assistant manager in a music store.)

P!NK is personal, on point, and gives audience participation a new meaning. She's working hard to keep her body prepped to do everything she does on stage, and as a female in her age group as well as a lifelong singer and musician's spouse, I applaud her voice and her choices in everything she puts together for her concert tour dates. If you were hesitant to go to the tour date because you hear her music and do not go to concerts, then I recommend you try to go to at least one tour date. You will not be disappointed!

Pink’s Summer Carnival tour of Australia and New Zealand is yet to wrap, but it’s already logged in the history books.

With just three dates left on the itinerary, Live Nation, producer of her latest epic trek Down Under, reveals nearly one million tickets have changed hands – a volume that’s by far the biggest for any female headliner to have toured ANZ.

And along the way, Pink has broken the attendance records at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium and at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.

“Pink is one of the most amazing live performers to ever walk onto the stage,” comments Michael Coppel, chairman of Live Nation Australasia and Pink’s long-standing promoter in Australia. “I’ve been very privileged to share in her epic 20-year journey in Australia and New Zealand, where she has played more than 200 shows.”

In Australia, Pink punches in the heavyweight class in every statistical category.

When Summer Carnival is done and dusted, her total ticket sales in this territory will lift to more than 3.1 million across six tours, the largest career ticket sales ever accumulated by an international performer in ANZ, according to LN.

That career tally includes more than 658,000 tickets sold on her 2009 Funhouse tour, which spanned 58 arena shows; and her 2013 The Truth About Love trek, which played 46 arena shows and shifted more than 600,000 tickets.

According to Billboard Boxscore, Pink is the highest-grossing act of the 2010s in Oceania with about $135 million. She even has her own ladies’ toilet block at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, where she has eliminated old attendance marks.

Earlier this week , Coppel, Pink’s manager Roger Davies and staff from Sony Music Australia and Live Nation presented the Philadelphia pop superstar with a special award, a memento of her latest recording-busting efforts.

“There is a palpable mutual love affair between the Australasian audience that love seeing her perform live,” adds Coppel, “and an artist who clearly loves being here. Congratulations, Alecia, on yet another stunning record-breaking tour and on an incredible career, with even greater success surely to come.”

If you’re eager to catch Pink live in action, now’s the time to start planning. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to secure your tickets early and ensure you have an unforgettable experience.

Why Pink’s Australian Tour Is the Must-See Event of the Year

Pink’s live performances are nothing short of legendary, offering fans more than just a concert – they promise an all-encompassing spectacle. Her unique blend of pop-rock music, coupled with theatrical acrobatics, ensures that every show goes beyond conventional boundaries. This tour is particularly significant as it showcases Pink’s evolution as an artist, incorporating new music and themes that resonate deeply with audiences. Her concerts are known for their emotional depth, as Pink doesn’t shy away from sharing personal stories that add layers of meaning to her songs. This direct connection with the audience is a hallmark of her shows, creating a shared experience that’s both uplifting and inspiring.

Moreover, Pink’s dedication to her craft is evident in the meticulous planning that goes into each performance. From the intricately choreographed aerial stunts to the cutting-edge stage production, everything is designed to enhance the musical journey. The energy and passion Pink brings to the stage are infectious, turning every concert into a celebration of music, resilience, and community.

Given the limited number of shows and the high demand for tickets, attending Pink’s Australian tour becomes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many fans. This tour is not just about witnessing a musical performance; it’s about being part of an event that celebrates the power of live music to connect, entertain, and inspire.

A Glimpse Into the Tour Schedule

Pink’s much-anticipated tour across Australia is set to light up stages in the nation’s major cities, promising unforgettable nights for fans everywhere. The journey begins in Brisbane, where the energy of Pink’s live performance will first be unleashed. From there, the tour will weave its way down the picturesque east coast, stopping in Sydney and Melbourne, where audiences will be treated to the full spectrum of Pink’s musical genius.

The adventure doesn’t stop there; the tour will make its way across the vast Australian landscape to Perth, before culminating in a grand finale in Adelaide. Each of these cities will play host to multiple performances, allowing numerous opportunities for fans to engage with Pink’s dynamic show. The spread of dates and locations is thoughtfully planned to ensure as many fans as possible can partake in this musical journey.

However, given the artist’s global appeal and the passionate Australian fan base, tickets are expected to be in high demand. Fans are encouraged to stay alert and act swiftly to secure their place at what promises to be a series of spectacular shows, each designed to offer a unique and mesmerizing experience with one of pop-rock’s most celebrated artists.

How To Access Early Bird Tickets

For fans eager to secure their place at one of Pink’s electrifying Australian concerts, nabbing early bird tickets is a crucial step. To get ahead of the general public sale, one of the most effective methods is joining Pink’s official fan club or subscribing to her newsletter. Members often receive pre-sale codes, granting them the privilege to purchase tickets before they become available to the wider audience.

Additionally, affiliations with specific credit card companies or being a patron of certain event sponsors can be beneficial, as they frequently offer early access to tickets for big events like this. It’s also advisable to stay vigilant on social media platforms and regularly check the official tour website. Updates regarding early ticket sales, including dates and times for these pre-sales, are typically announced through these channels.

Ensuring you’re well-prepared and informed by utilizing these resources can significantly increase your chances of not just attending, but experiencing the concert from some of the best seats available. Remember, these pre-sale tickets are limited and highly sought after, making timely action and awareness key to securing your early bird access.

Tips for Securing the Best Seats

Landing the best seats at a Pink concert isn’t just about luck; it’s about strategy and preparation. Here are some insider tips to help you claim a prime spot. First, ensure you’re ready the moment tickets go on sale. Speed is of the essence, as premium seats tend to be snapped up fast. To give yourself an edge, set up any necessary accounts on ticketing platforms in advance. This means entering your payment and contact information beforehand to streamline the purchase process.

Having a reliable, high-speed internet connection can make a significant difference. Consider using a wired connection if possible, as it’s generally more stable than Wi-Fi. Open the ticketing page on multiple devices to increase your chances. If one device freezes or encounters an issue, you can quickly switch to another without losing precious time.

Know exactly which seats you’re aiming for before tickets go live. Familiarize yourself with the venue’s seating chart, and decide on a few preferred sections. If you’re targeting VIP packages or special seating options like pit or front row, be mentally and financially prepared for the higher cost. These premium experiences often come with additional perks, such as exclusive merchandise or pre-show events, making them well worth the investment for dedicated fans.

Finally, don’t underestimate the power of a team. Coordinate with friends or family who also plan to attend. Working together can increase your chances of securing the best seats, as you can each attempt to purchase tickets simultaneously, covering more ground.

What To Expect From Pink’s Performances

Prepare to be whisked away on a musical and visual journey like no other. Pink’s performances are renowned for their dynamic energy and emotional depth, creating a concert atmosphere that’s both electrifying and intimately personal. The setlist, a curated mix of chart-topping hits, fan favorites, and fresh tracks from her latest album, ensures that every attendee experiences the full breadth of her musical talent.

Pink’s artistry shines not just through her powerful vocals but also through her breathtaking acrobatics, which have become a signature element of her shows. These performances are more than just concerts; they are immersive spectacles that blend music, dance, and theatrical flair.

Fans can expect a masterclass in stage production, with cutting-edge lighting, sound, and visual effects that elevate the experience to new heights. Each song is enhanced by meticulously designed choreography and staging, making every moment unforgettable. Beyond the spectacle, it’s Pink’s raw, unfiltered connection with her audience that truly defines her shows. Through her lyrics and onstage presence, she creates a space where emotions run deep, often sharing personal anecdotes that resonate with many.

This unique blend of heart-stopping performances and genuine human connection makes attending Pink’s concert a deeply moving experience. As the lights dim and the first notes echo through the venue, fans are not just spectators; they’re part of a shared journey, celebrating the resilience, joy, and power of music together.

Making the Most of Your Concert Experience

To elevate your concert experience at a Pink show to unforgettable heights, consider a few key actions that can enhance every moment. Arriving early not only helps you bypass the frustratingly long lines but also secures a superior vantage point, crucial for general admission events. While merchandising booths offer a tangible piece of the night to take home, embracing the live performance with your full attention rather than through a smartphone screen enriches the experience manifold.

The intensity of a live concert environment necessitates ear protection; not only does it safeguard your hearing, but it also ensures that your enjoyment of the music is not marred by discomfort. Staying hydrated is equally important, as the excitement and duration of the event can take a toll on your energy levels. Remember, venues have specific rules designed to create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Adhering to these, including the permitted and prohibited items list, allows for a smoother and more enjoyable concert-going experience.

Also, consider the venue’s food and beverage policies. Some locations allow small snacks or sealed water bottles, which can be a lifesaver during longer events. Planning ahead for these logistical aspects means you can immerse yourself fully in the live music experience, surrounded by the vibrancy and energy of fellow Pink fans. In embracing these practices, you’re set to not just attend a concert, but to revel in a musical spectacle that stays with you long after the final note has played.

Following Safety and Venue Guidelines

Ensuring a safe and enjoyable concert experience for all attendees is of utmost importance, which is why adhering to the venue’s safety guidelines and policies is essential. Before heading to the concert, make it a point to review the list of items that are permitted inside the venue to avoid any unnecessary inconvenience at the entrance. This may include restrictions on the size of bags, professional recording equipment, or outside food and drink.

Listening to and following the instructions of venue staff during the event is crucial for maintaining a safe environment. Their guidance ensures the smooth operation of the concert and the safety of everyone present. Additionally, respecting the personal space and experience of other concertgoers helps foster a positive atmosphere for all fans to enjoy.

In the current climate, being aware of any health and safety measures put in place is also important. This could range from mask mandates to social distancing requirements, depending on local guidelines and the nature of the event. Staying informed about these measures ahead of time will prepare you for a seamless concert experience.

By keeping these guidelines in mind and preparing accordingly, you contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment where the focus remains on the shared joy of experiencing Pink’s live performance. Together, attendees can ensure that the concert is not only a spectacular musical event but also a safe gathering for everyone involved.

The Aftermath: Keeping the Memories Alive

When the last notes fade and the lights come up, the magic of Pink’s concert doesn’t have to end. Holding onto those electrifying moments is all about finding creative ways to encapsulate the experience. Consider compiling a concert scrapbook filled with ticket stubs, wristbands, and candid photos taken during the night. This tangible collection can serve as a personal time capsule of your experience.

Creating a playlist that mirrors the concert setlist is another fantastic way to relive the show. Whether it’s for your morning commute or an at-home workout, this playlist can transport you back to the energy and excitement of the live performance. Engaging with Pink’s fan community online can also enrich the post-concert experience. Sharing stories, photos, and favorite moments with fellow fans keeps the spirit of the concert alive and builds connections with people who share your passion.

For a more immersive reflection, writing a concert review or blog post can be therapeutic and fulfilling. Documenting your perspective and highlights offers a chance to process the experience fully and share it with others who may have been there or wished they could have been.

Remember, each memento, photo, and shared story is a testament to the unforgettable experience Pink’s concert provided. These efforts to keep the memories alive ensure that the concert is not just a moment in time but a lasting highlight in your life’s soundtrack.

Fresh out of a pandemic, Australia’s 2023 touring calendar was one of the busiest in recent memory, as artists of all stripes took centrestage everywhere from stadium shows to intimate local gigs. With a starry schedule that included the likes of Post Malone , Red Hot Chili Peppers , and Mötley Crüe , it’ll be tricky for 2024’s schedule to outdo its predecessor – and yet, thanks to the likes of Taylor Swift , Blink-182 and Pink , plus Coldplay, Pearl Jam and SZA, it’s poised to do just that.

From debut headline shows for breakout artists to bustling festival sideshow programs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as a stellar batch of musicians make their way Down Under in 2024. Read on for NME’s roundup of all the biggest concerts and tours coming to Australia this year.

Here are the concerts and tours coming to Australia in 2024:

James Taylor: An Evening with James Taylor & His All-Star Band When: April 12 – April 28 Find tickets and more info here

If there was ever a festival made for James Taylor & His All-Star Band at this juncture of his 50-year career, it’s Day on the Green . The singer will perform at wineries in Queensland (Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton), and New South Wales (Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley, and Centennial Vineyards in Bowral) across April 2024. Taylor will be accompanied by Aussie pair Josh Pyke and Ella Hooper .

Taylor is also playing his own headline shows. After selling out dates in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, new shows have been added in those cities. A Live Nation pre-sale begins February 9 while general on-sale starts February 12.

Chase & Status When: April 19 – April 28 Find more info and ticket waitlists here

After a new mixtape, charting singles and landmark Boiler Room set, drum’n’bass lifers Chase & Status celebrated a huge 2023. This year, the British duo will bring the party to Australia and New Zealand on a sold-out co-headlining tour with Australia’s very own Luude. They’re notably playing RAC Arena in Perth, on top of Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Elephant Gym When: April 26 – April 28 Find more info and tickets here

Elephant Gym isn’t the result of a random band name generator; “elephant” refers to the Taiwanese math rock band’s bass-led grooves, while “Gym” denotes the “agility” of their rhythm. The trio will perform their technical and idiosyncratic instrumentals at three shows on the Australian east coast for the first time this April, supporting sleepmakeswaves.

6LACK: Since I Have A Lover Tour When: April 26 – May 1 Find tickets and more info

Groovin The Moo sideshows When: April 29 – May 11 Find tickets and more info
