This concert was absolutely amazing! His voice was so angelic and he was so genuine and humble. Every time he smiled it melted my heart because you could tell how grateful he was and how much he loves his life and it was just so beautiful! Everyone was there to just have a good time and everyone was singing along and it was such an incredible environment. One of the best moments was when someone from the crowd threw a rainbow flag on the stage during his song “HIM” and he took it a waved it around while everyone cheered in support of gay rights, it was so amazing. He is so inspiring and honestly my favorite artist. This was hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to, and I never wanted it to end. One of the best nights of my life.

One of the best shows I’ve ever been to, so emotional and it still a happy show. When he played we could feel everything he was singing about, we felt his emotions. The whole concert was amazing, the opening show (Lewis Capaldi) was really good, love his voice and the songs he played. What I loved most about Sam Smith was the simplicity of his concert, there was no need for an elaborated scene, we’re there to see him and his singing, not a big show with a lot of dancing and decorations (not saying concerts who have that are bad, I actually really like them, what I mean is that he doesn’t need that to be great). Also, the decorations were so cool and amazing, and his speeches were simply beautiful and powerful LOVE IS LOVE!❤️
Everything about the show was amazing, ypu touch everyone in the auditorium. The songs you decided to sing were excellent and the feeling you put to every song you showed it in your eyes. After every song you smiled to the public and that made us more excited to be there and sometimes put tiers of excitement in our eyes. We could all related to your songs in different ways. You are an inspiration to me. I'm so happy I got the opportunity to see you after the show and get your autograph in my ticket and sweatshirt. That night it's going to be unforgettable for every person that was there that night and the night before. Hope I have the opportunity to see you again here in Mexico City.

Sam Smith's Gloria 2023 tour setlist in full
Sam Smith is taking their Unholy show on the road.
After a sterling 2022 - which saw Kim Petras collaboration Unholy light up TikTok and became Sam's eighth UK Number 1 single - the start of the year saw Sam issue their fourth LP Gloria.
Debuting at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in January, Gloria became Sam's third chart-topping album in the UK , and the ultimate testament to a record that sees Sam collaborate with the likes of Calvin Harris, Koffee and Jessie Reyez on a body of work that truly sees them step into themselves, fully informed by club and queer culture, as well as their most dance-orientated work of pop yet.
Given this, the Gloria Tour, which started yesterday (April 12) in Sheffield, is a hell of a show. Split into three parts, Love, Beauty and Sex (how very Natalia Kills), the setlist takes skipping steps through tracks from all of Sam's albums, slowly ramping up in tempo and pace, before a glorious bacchanal finale.

hey occ, can we cut down on the sam smith articles a bit? everytime you post about them it gets full of hate speech.
and by the way, their decision on including stay with me on their set list is… questionable. the song aged badly for having the line “i still need love cause i’m just a man”. how will sam perform that line? will they tweak it?
Where is Money on My Mind on the Tracklist set that was #1 Single and La La La with Naughty Boy #1 too, those two tracks was really big and in his early career success.
Smith Smyth
He's just vile! And using the term superstar is disrespectful to actual superstars. He is an attention seeking freak.
That is a disgusting, vile comment. I will share it with Sam's team.
He's not the only one who knows it. Did you see the video recently of the Irish woman shouting at him in New York what he is? He's a despicable creature
Oh and by the way have you any idea how pathetic and woke your comment looks? Go and cry you pathetic baby. Grow a pair idiot!
Well said man. He's a pathetic loser. The kind of child who would run and tell the teacher for chewing gum. Freak! Lol.
Yes he needs throwing in the woodchipper with R Kelly that guy from Lost Prophets and Gary Glitter
Anyone who targets children and young people with mental illnesses the way he does deserves the abuse.
aye, i blocked the guy. i’m not even a big fan of sam smith, they’re too over the top for me, but his obsession with them seems super weird to me. i can tell he’s making alts to talk to himself so he can “back up” his invalid points further. i am quite literally transgender so to see so much hate go to anyone who isn’t cis is disgusting. all we want to do is live and have equal rights. have an amazing week :)

Fans also took to Twitter to reveal the setlist for the Gloria tour, however, it is likely that there will be some song changes along the way. Below is the complete set list as of Apr. 12, 2023:
- “Stay With Me”
- “I’m Not The Only One”
- “Like I Can”
- “Too Good At Goodbyes”
- “To Die For”
- “How Do You Sleep”
- “Dancing With A Stranger”
- “Kissing You” (Cover)
- “Lay Me Down”
- “Love Goes”
- “I’m Not Here To Make Friends”
- “I Feel Love” (Cover)
- “Human Nature” ( Madonna Cover)
The show kicked off with Sam performing on top of a massive golden figure, which was spread across the stage (see photo here ). They belted out their 2014 hit “Stay With Me”, as the crowd went wild over seeing Sam on stage. They have not been on tour in five years, as their last tour was the The Thrill of It All Tour in 2018. Sam’s first outfit wowed the crowd, as it featured gold trousers, a gold corset, and a white button-up top. They completed their first look with a gold hat, a black tie, and a jacket over their shoulder. Sam also shared the look via Instagram and captioned it, “WELCOME TO MY GAY CABARET.” Later, Sam was spotted wearing an all-gold suit sans a shirt (watch video here ).
Secret Songs

As the show just kicked off on Apr. 12, and the songs performed are listed above, there are no surprise songs on the set list at this time. Despite this, it is common practice for musicians to add “secret” songs to the set list as the tour goes along, similarly to Taylor Swift at her Eras Tour . Watch this space for updates as the tour continues throughout the world!

What Sam Has Said About The Tour
On the day of the first show, Apr. 12, of the Gloria tour, Sam took to Instagram to share an emotional video about their return to the stage after years without touring. “We kick off tonight in Sheffield and I’m so excited,” they said at the start of the clip. “I feel like I’ve been gearing up for this show my whole life honestly.” Later, Sam went into what inspired much of the tour. “What a lot of people don’t know about my roots and where I come from is how much I love theater,” they went on. “Even with all the pop shows I’ve done, I’ve always tried to bring an element of drama… and I really feel like this time I’ve been able to make the show of my dreams.”

Glass Animals have announced details of their long-awaited global tour, including a gig here in Manchester.
The Grammy and BRIT-nominated British band will be performing at the Co-op Live arena in November.
The announcement comes just a day after they dropped their first single from their upcoming album ‘I Love You So F***ing Much’.
Glass Animals released Creatures in Heaven yesterday, then delighted fans with details of a huge global arena tour.
There’ll be 44 tour dates across the US, Europe and the UK for Glass Animals this year, including their Manchester gig.
The four-piece already have three studio albums to their names and smashed into the UK Singles Chart with their biggest hit, the four-times Platinum certified Heat Waves.
That song? Oh yeah, it’s just the biggest international hit from a British band in almost 30 years. It’s also the first song with a single writer and producer to hit the top of the charts since Pharrell’s Happy.
Their upcoming fifth album will be the follow-up to their 2020 release Dreamland, which sold more than 12 million copies globally.
Lead singer Dave Bayley said the album was born in the midst of an existential crisis, with the band finding global stardom during lockdown.
He said: “Life can change dramatically, but sometimes you aren’t able to change as quickly on a personal level. You end up feeling like a spectator.
“And then you are asked and expected to be a certain type of person, a different person. But…I wasn’t sure how. It confused me to the point of not knowing who I was or if anything was real.”
He said that being stuck in a wooden house during one of the biggest storms in California’s history forced him into a new headspace where he realised that ‘human connection and the love between us is much bigger, more important, and more complex than anything else’.
‘I Love You So F***ing Much’ will be 10 intimate love stories set against the backdrop of the universe.
Glass Animals frontman Dave added: “I love you so f***ing much, I LOVE YOU SO F***ING MUCH, I love you SO f***ing MUCH, I love you so F***ING much, I LOVE you so f***ing MUCH. These words take on a different meaning every time you say them.
“The universe may make us feel overwhelmingly small, but we have this human connection that is far vaster and more mysterious.
“Love comes in an infinite number of forms and shapes and sizes. It is so complex, and so powerful that even witnessing the tiniest instance of it can change your life forever.”
Fans who pre-order the album will have access to early pre-sale tickets going live at 10am on 9 April. General on-sale will go live at 10am on 11 April.

British music royalty Robbie Williams has come out to declare Matty Healy the only pop/rock star “who is willing to be something other than beige” in a recent social media post.
The former Take That singer and pop icon has come out with plenty of big claims of late – including that he believes he’s being targeted by aliens to be a messenger for them on Earth due to his fame – but his latest Insta-rant has also seen him give Matty Healy a bit of a peculiar compliment sandwich.
Crafting a lengthy paragraph on his page, Williams not only called Matty Healy “the only commercially viable pop/rock star that I can see who is willing to be something other than beige” but also “unhinged” and “willing to upset”.
Reiterating that he believes The 1975 frontman is “super smart and super talented”, he also went on to say that the local artist has a propensity to be “upsetting for a cause”. We’re not going to pretend we know exactly what Robbie’s on about but the gist seems to be that he thinks he’s good and provocative.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Robbie Williams (@robbiewilliams)
The 50-year-old, who has been no stranger to a headline or two himself over the years, went on to add that he sees Healy as prone to “Upsetting for a cause. The cause being a complicated inner life a rebellious streak and boredom.”
2023 was very much the year of The 1975 not only in terms of the music industry and their commercial success within it but also because of Healy’s multiple controversies.
From sucking fans’ thumbs in the crowd and being labelled sexist and racist by Rina Sawayama for insensitive jokes made on a podcast, to beefing with Noel Gallagher after he told him to “stop marding” with his brother; dating the other biggest name on the planet in Taylor Swift and more, he’s been absolutely everywhere.
Even in his apologies for comments such as those flagged by labelmate Sawayama , he still couldn’t resist the urge for some added pageantry and turned his response into a fake mental advert for the BetterHelp online therapy company. It’s this kind of stuff that we’re guessing Robbie is referring to.
Matty Healy just spoke for about 3 minutes about self-help and apologies and the pratfalls of playing the cliche rock star and it ended as a Better Help therapy bit. #The1975 #HollywoodBowl @the1975 pic.twitter.com/zxf4rwzWP9 — Rock Cellar Magazine (@RockCellarMag) October 3, 2023

Elsewhere in his speech, the Stoke-born singer solo artist asked, “How boring is the music scene right now?”, caveating that while he’s not attacking the music itself, he does believe there’s been a “death of friction, danger, personality”.
Holding his hands up to becoming more ‘vanilla’ in an attempt to stay with the times, he conversely said: “No one knows what you’ll say that will get you cancelled. So many people to offend… I’ve gotta get some of that energy back in my musical life… I hope I have time to fit them all in. It’s time to take the p*ss again… and I’m looking forward to it.”
While we by no means advocate anyone making art simply for the sake of trying to ‘p*ss people off’ and we make no qualms about the likes of Matty Healy being a divisive figure in music, to say the least, it’s impossible to deny there aren’t some seriously huge fans of The 1975 as creatives and performers .
Do you agree that most modern pop/rockstars are ‘beige’ or are there any performers you think are also pushing the boundaries in the contemporary music scene?

Sam Smith Tour 2023 Will Be 'Different'
In a separate post on Twitter , the musician shared a heartfelt letter to his fans, first apologizing for not writing to them for a while.
The reason why they haven't reached out to their supporters in a long time was because they were busy with the album's production and rehearsing for the upcoming tour.
Smith, who identifies as non-binary and uses "they/them" in pronouns, then expressed their gratitude to fans, saying they're thankful for their kindess and support and they're happy seeing beautiful words about their music.

Devil horns were visible throughout the United Center on Tuesday night as Sam Smith’s Gloria Tour touched down in Chicago.
The glowing red props were briskly selling at the merch stands and immediately worn by fans waiting to see Smith’s first U.S. tour in five years. Of course, the design was also a nod to the infamously fiendish performance of “Unholy” at the Grammys in February that sent tongues wagging, had FCC phone lines ringing, and made fans hope to hell it was a new creative flex for the British crooner who spent the first part of their career dodging the label of Adele 2.0.
Though, if the Gloria Tour’s raunch, provocativeness and overall sense of acceptance and liberation is any indicator, Sam 2.0 is here to stay.
“This show tonight is about freedom,” Smith declared, adding, “So, let go, have fun, make some friends, sing, dance, take your tops off if you must.”
A reclined, golden statue of Aphrodite provides the backdrop for Sam Smith during their concert at the United Center.
Across 100 minutes and 21 songs, Smith practiced what they preached, shedding any inhibitions — and also their wardrobe at a few key moments.
During a suggestive cover of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love,” they removed a custom-made Bulls jersey and threw it into the crowd; soon after, on a cover of Madonna’s “Human Nature,” the singer came to the stage outfitted in a thong, some fishnets and nipple tassels.
Most of these pearl-clutching moments came during the latter half of the show that was broken into three distinct acts: “Love,” “Beauty” and “Sex.” All of them were tied together by a giant, side-lying sculpture of the love and fertility goddess Aphrodite that became an onstage playground for Smith, the live band and dancers on which to glide across and slide down.
In truth, the Gloria Tour is a carefully sequenced concert with its own subtle narrative that brings attendees through the evolution of Smith, from a bespoke British singer to a modern-day queer pop icon who took the reins on their latest album and found themselves in the process.
Fans express their affection for Sam Smith during the singer’s United Center concert on Tuesday night.
Not only did it pay off with “Gloria” selling 1.6 million copies to date and making Smith even more of a household name (they appear as themselves in an upcoming episode of HBO’s “And Just Like That”), but also in giving visibility to the LGBTQ+ community. The mammoth track “Unholy,” which pairs Smith with German singer Kim Petras, went to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and nabbed a Grammy Award for best pop duo/group performance, the first time an openly non-binary and openly transgender musician, respectively, received those accolades.
Smith took time reflect on their personal journey and to thank their local fans, specifically.
“I’ll never forget being here, playing theaters when I was 20- and 21-years-old,” Smith shared, calling to mind their more intimate show at the Riviera in 2014. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for sticking with me all these years.”
The show started off with a few of their first big ballad hits from 2014 debut album “In The Lonely Hour,” including “Stay With Me,” “I’m Not The Only One” and “Like I Can.” All were delivered with Smith’s impeccable voice, supported by a heavenly choir of backup singers. Smith’s outfits were also angelic for this act, featuring more gold adornments than a bejeweled corset in a Versace fashion show, platform boots and a stunning long-sleeved tulle ballgown that provided the perfect opportunity for twirling around the stage.
After a stunning piano-led cover of Des’ree’s “I’m Kissing You” (from the soundtrack to the Baz Luhrmann film “Romeo + Juliet”), an a capella take on “Lay Me Down” that held the audience so captive you could hear a pin drop, and duets with opener Jessie Reyez (who also appears on “Gloria”), Smith declared it was time to “turn this place into a gay bar,” signaling the show’s mid-set sea change.
Gone were the harmonious backup singers and high-fashion frocks and in came the dexterous dancers and lots of skin to shake things up for the disco romp of “I’m Not Here To Make Friends” as well as “Latch” (the Disclosure track that put Smith on the map) and, of course, a salacious take on “Unholy” complete with a groundswell of fire and devil tridents.
That song should have ended the show; instead, it all wrapped with just the dancers left to hype up the crowd as the house played a recording of Smith’s new single with Madonna, “Vulgar.” They created it together after Madonna gave her speech at the Grammys introducing Smith and Petras’ infamous performance. Madonna’s words now also define the Gloria Tour: “If they call you shocking, scandalous, troublesome, problematic, provocative or dangerous, you are definitely on to something.”
