Shinedown Announces The Revolutions Live Tour

Multi-platinum, chart-topping band Shinedown has announced their upcoming The Revolutions Live Tour (co-produced by FPC Live and Live Nation) with support from fellow chart-toppers Three Days Grace  and  From Ashes to New. 

The  Revolutions Live Tour  starts off in Saginaw, Michigan on  April 3, kicking off a 21-date U.S. run of spring shows  that will see the record-breaking band bring their hit album  Planet Zero  to life live from coast to coast.  Public on-sale begins this  Friday  January 27 at 10am local at  LiveNation.com.  Various presales will be available Tuesday, January 24 through Thursday, January 26.  Full tour  routing  below. This tour announcement follows last week’s release of the new music video for current rock single “Dead Don’t Die,”  a rousing declaration of survival and an anthem about the resilience of the human spirit after trying times, written by guitarist Zach Myers about front man Brent Smith. In a recent interview with Heather Brown of the 105.9 KZZK radio station, SHINEDOWN singer Brent Smith spoke about the band's plans for a possible follow-up to last year's "Planet Zero" album. He said: "There's always songs that we didn't use on an album, but the way our mentality is on that sometimes is if it didn't make it on a record, there's a reason for it. So we'll go back and listen to it and see if there's anything in there that might spark something or what have you. However, on 'Planet', we had so many songs that were written, and everything we did… We don't demo anything anymore. We write it and then [we record it]. So for us, I just recently was in South Carolina with Eric [ Bass , SHINEDOWN bassist and producer], and we were reviewing some of those things that didn't make it on 'Planet Zero' , 'cause 'Planet Zero' is very specific, and I was actually shocked that a lot of it was really strong. I had forgotten some of it. But there was some stuff in there where I was, like, 'I wouldn't change anything on that, and that's way better than I remember' — things like that. But me and Eric have been working on some new material and what have you. I can tell you that you'll probably see something new for us not this year, but definitely next year."

This past February, SHINEDOWN released the music video for its new Hot AC single "A Symptom Of Being Human" , a standout track from "Planet Zero" .

The "Planet Zero" album also features pop-rock anthem and No. 1 rock hit "Daylight" , which People called one of "the most powerful of pop-rock songs created to remind us that we are truly all in this together." Epic concert, awesome performance at a great theater. it was insanely hot but by the water Jones Beach kept cool. Brent sand awesomely but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of songs from the new album. They sang Get Up but that was it. They also only sang their most popular songs but almost none from their first few albums and none at all that weren’t their most famous. I would’ve liked to hear some more somgs that weren’t as popular as I’ve heard them many times. It was great that they coheadlined with godsmack as they put on a kickass performance also. They really create the classic rock atmosphere with their fans. The crowd was on fire from shinedown and godsmack kept it alive. It also seemed to me that Brent’s voice sounded slightly different, maybe it was mechanized or something because it sounded higher pitched. I’m gusssing he lost his voice over the tour and had to compensate, better that than cancel the show, this was also the last show of the first leg so they’re taking a break. Altogether best concert I’ve ever been.

I really had a great evening, this was my first time seeing them live and they were a lot better than I expected. Brent did talk a lot during songs, sometimes telling us things about the band that were sort of necessary but other times it almost seemed like he kept talking just so he wouldn’t have to play. I was also shocked to realise only 3 songs of their new album were performed; Attention Attention (the album title as well as a song) wasn’t even played, and instead they relied on material from the early 2000’s which I was unfamiliar with (I only know their last two albums in depth). The crowd loved it and could all sing along (so maybe it was my fault for not recognising as much) but I am still confused why the band came on stage with the start of Attention Attention playing and to not even perform that song on stage. Brent wore a jacket with the ‘!’ of the album cover which was also featured on the drums so it all seemed that the evening would be full of new material and still they didn’t go into their new album as much as I’d hoped, they did about 3 songs each from each record. This doesn’t mean I didn’t have a great time, on the contrary, but it didn’t make sense to me that the new album had come out months ago and 75% of what they played was old material.

I love listening to Shinedown's music and I bought Attention Attention. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 was my first time to see Shinedown live in concert. They did not disappoint me. All four band members were full of energy on stage and very engaged with the entire audience (or so it seemed - that's how good they are.) They also sound as good live as they do on their albums which is often not the case with many bands. And the bass player and lead guitar player sang backup and their harmony was spot on. The lead singer briefly explained the meaning behind some of their songs. He also walked onto the floor several times and interacted with the audience on the upper decks and the crowd was very polite and gave him room to perform. Their light show is also very good. Lots of laser lights and designs. The only complaint I might have is there was too much smoke used and at this particular venue it became overwhelming to some. I liked Shinedown live in concert so much, I am purchasing tickets to see them again in a August with Godsmack. Shinedown is phenomenal live!!

Shinedown Announce Fall 2023 US Tour with Papa Roach and Spiritbox

The "Revolutions Live Tour" kicks off in September

Shinedown have announced the Fall 2023 “Revolutions Live” US tour with a stacked support bill of Papa Roach and Spiritbox .

Dates kick off September 3rd in St. Louis and run through an October 20th show in Denver.

A Live Nation pre-sale starts Thursday (May 5th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster using the code ICONIC . General ticket sales begin Friday (May 5th) at 10 a.m. local time. Alternatively, you can look for deals or pick up tickets to sold-out concerts via StubHub , where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

Shinedown will be out in support of their 2022 album, Planet Zero , and the fall trek will follow remaining spring tour dates in early May, plus a string of July shows.

Meanwhile, Papa Roach will also be supporting a 2022 LP, Ego Trip , while upstart prog-metallers Spiritbox continue to support major heavy acts as they continue to ascend the ranks of the mainstream. The Canadian band just released the one-off single “The Void,” which will likely be featured in setlists on the upcoming jaunt.
