Our Zicasso travel agent did an outstanding job of taking our various locations, preferences, and timeline to work with us to plan a very memorable trip. His recommendations based on his personal experiences living abroad made for a very special combination of high-quality accomodations, individualized driving tours, and personal restaurant referrals that were all as unique as they were of the highest quality. He was very flexible with any changes we wanted to make in the planning stage. He was extremely accessible no matter what time of day and arranged all tours and transportation logistics (planes, trains, and automobiles!) over the 10 days we were in Germany. We couldn't have been happier with our time there or his references, and were truly amazed by the incredible range of experiences we had over the course of our travels from north to south. It all went like clockwork!

We had a wonderful family vacation. Zicasso's travel specialist took time to understand our needs and work with us over several months to provide us with his views and suggestions. He was patient in listening to us and made an effort to refine the itineraries to meet our needs. Throughout the trip, he stayed in touch to provide the support needed. For example, the connecting train from Visp to Zermatt was stopped due to weather. He was with us all the way to provide assurance and guidance in reaching Zermatt safely. Everything was well organized. When we reached our hotel room, a lovely pouch with all the necessary travel vouchers and tickets was on our desk.

Zicasso’s tour operator did an excellent job planning our trip! We planned a vacation to Italy and Switzerland and wanted to see as much as we could with our limited time off. Our tour company worked in nearly all of our requests, planning an itinerary involving five cities in 10 days. Each of the hotels was great and all activities and train transfers went smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would work with this company again on a future European vacation.

Our Zicasso travel partner listened to our preferences and needs, and helped design a fabulous trip for our family. Transportation was flawless throughout the trip and the local guides were wonderful. We enjoyed getting to know them personally and learning about their hometowns. I especially valued the app that provided us with every detail for each day, including emergency contacts, hotel information, and itinerary. Thank you!

Zicasso’s travel company provided a transformative travel experience; truly once in a lifetime. We were introduced to Zicasso by our friends and thank their agent and travel company for their outstanding compassion, empathy, and patience. They grasped our brief with remarkable clarity and crafted an itinerary that ensured incredibly enriching experiences at each destination, during travel, and in accommodations. They accommodated our need for space between intercity travels and provided invaluable advice and support, from itinerary changes to visa requirements, on-the-ground adjustments, and regular check-ins. I highly recommend our agent and his company for their attentive listening, empathetic approach, and expertise in curating unforgettable itineraries. Thank you, you changed the way we experience Europe and it will always be hard to match the high bar you set with this trip. We are deeply appreciative of our agent and his company’s staff.

We could not have had a better experience. Our travel agent and the team at our Zicasso travel partner were fabulous. They built a wonderful itinerary that really fit our interests. All of the tours were top-notch. Each of the hotels exceeded our expectations and all of the dinner reservations were wonderful! They were responsive as we built our trip and were always available while we were traveling when we had questions.

We took the most amazing trip to Norway to see the Northern Lights. I reached out to Zicasso, who put me in touch with our travel partner and their wonderful travel agent. She put together several options for the trip and we were able to choose the ones that best fit our family’s interests. Once everything was decided, she went to work doing everything. All the bookings, connections, transportation, etc. were handled and I didn't have to worry about any of it. Before the trip, she confirmed all of the details and included everything on an amazing travel app that we used while we were on the trip. I can't say enough about what an amazing experience we had on our trip and working with Zicasso and our tour operator. I have used both companies before and have never been disappointed.

Family experiences, wine tourism, recommendation winter, winter holidays, wellness & spa hotels, premium panorama trains, winter: excursions & destinations, winter sports resorts, matterhorn (4,478 a.s.l.) - symbol for switzerland.
The Matterhorn and Switzerland are inseparably linked to each other. The pyramid shaped colossus of a mountain, which is very difficult to climb, is said to be the most-photographed mountain in the world. The Klein-Matterhorn ("Little Matterhorn"), which can be reached via a funicular, lies adjacent to the Matterhorn.
The Rhine Falls
To stand high above Europe's largest waterfall, feeling the roar and vibration of the water over one's entire body - this can be experienced at the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. By ship one can reach castles, the Rhine Falls Basin and even the mighty rock in the midst of the waterfall.
On the Top of Europe: A visit to the Jungfraujoch puts a jewel in the crown of any visit to Switzerland.
Château de Chillon
Chillon Castle is located on a rock on the banks of Lake Geneva. The water castle is the most visited historic building in Switzerland. For nearly four centuries Chillon was the residence and profitable toll station of the Counts of Savoy.
Creux du Van
"Creux du Van", a natural rock arena of immense proportions, is located at the border of the cantons of Neuenburg and Vaud. Impressive 160 meter high vertical rock faces surround a four kilometer long and over one kilometer wide valley basin.
Aletsch - the Largest Alpine Glacier
Incredibly immense, incredibly beautiful: the Large Aletsch Glacier is the Alps' mightiest ice flow. And the most popular, for it is easily accessible and is ideally situated for extensive hikes, winter sports and special nature excursions.
Swiss Museum of Transportation
Switzerland’s most visited museum showcases the past, present and future of mobility with interactive and varied exhibits. In addition to the museum, unique attractions found nowhere else in Switzerland, such as the film theatre, planetarium, Swiss Chocolate Adventure and Media World, are just waiting to be discovered.
10,000 years ago, 100 billion cubic metres of rock thundered into the valley. Known as the Flims Rockslide, this event created the Ruinaulta, a canyon-like gorge in the Anterior Rhine Valley that can be reached on foot, over water, by train or by bike.

Swiss mountain railways take visitors to magnificent views as well as delightful and relaxing stays.
Spring in the city
Goodbye to the long winter months – it’s time to welcome the spring. Now it’s time to recharge your batteries, catch the sun’s rays and enjoy the fresh air. Switzerland’s cities are also in full bloom, showcasing spring’s awakening.
City oases in bloom
It is not just nature that awakens in spring – Switzerland’s towns and cities also wake from their winter slumber. Parks and gardens transform the urban centres, invigorating them with life. Roses, tulips and daffodils make this time of year particularly stunning.
Wellness with a clear conscience
Sustainable wellness: As the days start getting shorter, the weather outside gets colder and snow starts to fall, many people are drawn to soothing wellness facilities. However, there is no denying that whirlpool baths, saunas and relaxation in quiet surroundings involve the consumption of a great deal of thermal energy. By taking many steps, both large and small, these Swiss flagship spas show just how important and effective commitment to green principles is for our environment.
Panorama trains delight with large windows, mountain and lake views and other scenic attractions.

Switzerland Destination Management for Travel Agents
Unlike other online travel sites, we value working with travel agents and pay high commissions. We work on the basis of "agent of record" so that if your client elects to contact us directly, and you let us know this may happen, we recognize your commission.
Our website provides comprehensive coverage of Switzerland and our travel agents will provide you with quality and personal service you've come to expect from a Switzerland specialist. We understand how important a vacation is to your clients and want every detail to be perfect. Therefore we only recommend hotels and services that we know. Having offices in Switzerland and the United States gives us the competitive edge on "destination management" and "customer satisfaction".
Most of our content cannot be found in your GDS. With all our information you can tailor everything you need to meet your client's expectations. As we expand our coverage to other destinations in Europe we hope that our value to your agency will increase! If you are interested in working with us, please complete the short form and we will get back to you asap! Please note that Magic Switzerland does not send out brochures to Travel Agents. Our offer and all pertinent information can be found here on our web site.
