Plus, you'll find a lot of variety in all-inclusive vacation packages in Jamaica, with some that are perfect for the whole family and others with adults-only policies that are better suited for couples.

What are some of the most popular places for all-inclusive vacations in Jamaica?

An all-inclusive vacation in Jamaica offers quite a few options for destinations. Negril is a popular spot, especially if you're travelling with a partner. The romantic and charming atmosphere is notable, along with its relaxing and isolated beaches that allow you and your partner to enjoy time together without having to wade through crowds. Alternatively, you can check out Montego Bay , a more luxurious, high-end destination. The beaches here are populated with some of the top local resorts that will tend to your every need throughout your stay.

What to expect from an all-inclusive vacation in Jamaica

In 2024 Jamaica, you'll be able to embark on a stunning journey to one of the brightest jewels of the 6022969 in an all-inclusive adventure that shows off soft white sands and inviting turquoise waters.

What are some benefits when booking an all-inclusive vacation in Jamaica?

Jamaica is known for its sandy beaches and turquoise waters as one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean. An all-inclusive vacation allows you to sit back and enjoy every last bit of it carefree. With an all-inclusive vacation, you'll find multiple aspects of your trip already planned out for you and paid for ahead of time. Not only will you know exactly what to expect, but it's easier to know how much everything will cost before you even set out.

Can I book all-inclusive vacations with airfare and meals?

Airfare and meals can easily be packaged with all-inclusive vacations to Jamaica, with meals particularly being common in most all-inclusive packages already. Part of the benefits of all-inclusive vacations is that the necessities are taken care of prior to your visit, including food. Flights can be bundled easily, too, with potential discounts available when booking an all-inclusive stay and a flight simultaneously.

Why should I book an adults-only all-inclusive vacation?

An adults-only all-inclusive vacation to Jamaica allows you to relax with ease among other adults looking to take it easy in a laid-back environment that's free from the noise of children. Adults-only resorts often have features like nightclubs you can enjoy and live performances and shows that may not be appropriate for younger audiences.

Are there all-inclusive package deals?

Yes, all-inclusive vacation packages in Jamaica are available with various options offering diverse experiences that are still comforting, relaxing and easy to plan. Don't hesitate to look for packages when travelling at the last minute either, as some properties are eager to offer discounts to fill their few remaining vacancies.

Can I book cheap all-inclusive vacations to Jamaica?

Keeping prices low when booking all-inclusive vacations to Jamaica is easier than you might think since you can take advantage of a vast array of options. All-inclusive packages range from CA $971, with the cheaper options still having quite a few impressive amenities available. Sorting your results by price will also put them at the top of your search list. Remember that booking a flight along with your accommodation can offer savings of up to 47.

What should I look for when booking a 5-star all-inclusive vacation in Jamaica?

If you're looking for luxury in an all-inclusive vacation package, keep an eye out for high-end amenities and services. At Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall , for example, the resort is set on a private beach and features 7 restaurants, an arcade, a sauna, a golf course and room service. Breathless Montego Bay offers a different kind of luxury experience that's adults only with a full-service spa, nightclub, beach volleyball, 24-hour room service, 7 restaurants and 3 bars.

What's most important when booking family-friendly all-inclusive vacation packages in Jamaica?

Bringing the whole family along to Jamaica in an all-inclusive vacation means making sure kids and adults have plenty to enjoy. With resorts like Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa , you'll find a full-service spa and 18 holes of golf, free access to a water park, game room and babysitting services. Iberostar Rose Hall Beach is similarly impressive, being right on the beach with a spa and offering babysitting services, a kids club and a playground.

How do I get deals on all-inclusive vacations in Jamaica?

Deals are often available in the summer months for Jamaica. January through April, on the other hand, tend to be more expensive, relatively speaking. Additionally, don't hesitate to sort your search results by price. Any special deals or discounts will already be applied in price estimates, so you may find some seriously generous offerings well within your budget.

Are all-inclusive packages fully refundable?

Some packages are fully refundable, yes. You can determine which ones are by looking deeper into their policies marked in the policies section after clicking the package in your search results.

Travel Guide

  • # 1 in Best Cheap Destination Wedding Locations

To many, Jamaica is the heart of the Caribbean. The birthplace of reggae music, the Rastafari movement and all-inclusive resorts (at least as we know them today, the concept originated with Club Med in Europe), Jamaica symbolizes many of the things most loved and, perhaps, most misunderstood about the region. A simple remedy to clear the confusion? Come to the land of sugar cane, coffee and limestone, and form your own opinion. Your new ideas are bound to be swathed in cream-colored beaches, bordered by rugged  Blue Mountains and anchored in foamy waterfalls.

Best All-Inclusive Resorts in Jamaica

If you’re dreaming of an all-inclusive vacation, then you’ve likely had Jamaica on your mind. Like the Dominican Republic , all-inclusive resorts dominate the beaches of this island nation, from Negril to Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. However, while we love unlimited food, endless poolside drinks, and ocean-view rooms, the truth is that not all Jamaica all-inclusive resorts are created equally. In fact, many resorts across this island can be downright dated. That’s why we’ve sorted out the absolute best Jamaica all-inclusive resorts to help you plan your next trip. From top-shelf liquor in your free minibar to beautiful beaches, we’ve found amazing reasons that make these the best Jamaica all-inclusive resorts.

all inclusive trips jamaica

Round Hill Hotel and Villas

Hopewell, montego bay, jamaica.

Round Hill is phenomenal. Sincere, intimate hospitality; private child care; large, beautifully designed rooms by Ralph Lauren; and breathtaking grounds (to which no photo can do justice) -- it is easily among the best resorts in Jamaica. While it's near Montego Bay , Round Hill Hotel and Villas is a quiet, country club-style property that feels entirely secluded. You'll also score stunning sea views from every room. Amenities include a cliff-side infinity pool and a lovely outdoor spa — all alongside the beautiful, lush greenery around the resorts. The Round Hill Villas all-inclusive package is optional, but worth it, as it covers all meals and drinks, room service, airport transfers, a welcome bottle of bubbly, and even a rafting trip. Paying as you go for all of these services will add up quickly.

all inclusive trips jamaica

Excellence Oyster Bay

Falmouth, jamaica.

Situated in the town of Falmouth , west of Montego Bay, Jamaica , this adults-only all-inclusive resort is a relaxed, romantic alternative to the party scene in Mo'Bay. However, it still offers plenty of entertainment options, from evening theater shows to a lively Martini Bar. The resort’s location on its own peninsula overlooking the sea gives it a sense of seclusion, but its distance from airport connections at Sangster International Airport, a 40-minute drive away, make it a convenient option for people making shorter trips to the island. Excellence Oyster Bay rooms are spacious and inviting, with a variety of floor plans and views available. Junior Suite Oceanfront units have front and center views over the Caribbean Sea . Guests willing to spend a little more can get their own plunge pool by booking a Junior Suite with Private Pool, while those wanting to really up the ante can opt for an Excellence Club package, which comes with all sorts of perks, including access to exclusive restaurants, a private reception area, a private beach, and included treatments at the spa. Facilities open to all guests include a variety of restaurants serving everything from Asian fusion fare to steak plus excellent wellness facilities with a full spa menu and a well-equipped gym.

all inclusive trips jamaica

Negril Jamaica, Jamaica

Arguably Jamaica's most romantic escape, the upscale, adult-only The Caves has 11 private cottages and suites atop dramatic seaside cliffs. The entire property feels bohemian and undiscovered, though make no mistake — this is one of the most popular resorts in Jamaica. The Caves also has one of Jamaica’s best all-inclusive liquor selections. Dining at The Caves is exceptional, and menus are crafted from local, seasonal ingredients. Meals are served in the breezy lounge during breakfast and lunch, and in the cliffside restaurant for dinner. However, for no extra cost, you can arrange dinner by candlelight in a private cave (five courses; reservations required). Just note that there is no sandy beach here (in fact, the Negril region can often be rocky). You'll find The Caves hard to beat in the Negril area, and the resort also made our list of the Caribbean's best all-inclusive resorts .

all inclusive trips jamaica

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall

Rose hall, montego bay, jamaica.

The best of the three Iberostar resorts in Montego Bay , this 295-room all-suite hotel is light years beyond its neighbors in terms of decor, food, and features. While some elements remain shared with the lesser Iberostar Rose Hall Beach and Iberostar Rose Hall Suites -- for instance, the spa, fitness center, casino, nightclub, and shops -- guests at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall get the pick of the litter with free access to all three resorts’ restaurants, bars, pools, and beaches. The rates might be higher, but for good reason. Keep in mind that kids aren't allowed at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall — if that's a deal breaker check out one of the nearby Half Moon , detailed below.

all inclusive trips jamaica

Beaches Negril Resort & Spa

Designed for families with kids and teens, Beaches Negril Resort & Spa is a beautiful property with a wide variety of activities, classes, and events. With a water park, kids' camp, teen hangouts and specialty activities, children have plenty to keep them busy, and adults can enjoy the spa or candlelit dining for two. Contemporary rooms have ocean views and the biggest one sleeps up to 12 people. The location, right on Negril’s Seven Mile Beach , puts the resort a short drive away from the town center and a number of shops, boutiques, and craft markets, as well as restaurants and bars. Since the majority of guests are families, the resort can get noisy, but the hotel is so large that it's possible to find quiet.

all inclusive trips jamaica

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall

Situated well to the east of bustling Montego Bay, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall is one half of a two-resort beachfront Hyatt compound. Along with its sister property, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall , the two collectively offer a long list of communal amenities, including nearly a dozen restaurants, two large pools, and an oceanfront spa . The quiet, elegant vibe is what most guests would expect of an adult-only Jamaican resort. Each of its 234 rooms features a spacious floor plan and a bright, modern decor. Amenities include fully-stocked minibars, free Wi-Fi, luxurious marble bathrooms, and private balconies or terraces -- many with ocean views. If you're after the same level of service and style, but are traveling with kids, the Hyatt Ziva is a perfect alternative.

all inclusive trips jamaica

Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay

Montego bay, jamaica.

The sprawling Secrets Wild Orchid is one of the more luxurious adult-only all-inclusive resorts in Montego Bay . It has a laundry list of awesome features, including eight restaurants and five bars, plus a host of activities: a theater, a spa, a water sports and dive center, a shopping center, and a casino. Keep in mind that the resort shares virtually all of its amenities with the next-door Secrets St. James , but top-shelf liquor is the norm throughout both properties. However, you'll score nicer rooms at the Wild Orchid, along with a more luxurious vibe. It's worth upgrading to VIP status here and booking a Preferred Club room, as you'll score separate check-in, upgraded minibars, better spots for lounging on the beach, and an exclusive pool. The two beaches here also stay essentially private .

all inclusive trips jamaica

Jamaica Inn

Ocho rios, jamaica.

A small, romantic resort that once drew Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller, the Jamaica Inn is all about quiet luxury -- a wide, soft sand beach ; an al fresco dining terrace; and a stunning, sea-view spa. The 48 beautiful suites and cottages include free Wi-Fi, high-end bathrooms, and water-view balconies (some with private plunge pools), and the lack of TVs and radios preserves the quiet, unplugged vibe. This is not the place to party -- the whole resort typically shuts down by midnight, for the most part. The all-inclusive plan is highly regarded by past guests, though it will cost a pretty penny. But if you're looking to unplug without having to think about your drinks and meals, but don't want to post up at the nearby Ocho Rios mega-resorts, the Jamaica Inn is one of the best options on the island.

Moon Palace Jamaica

Set on a private beach within a short walk of downtown Ocho Rios , the 705-room Moon Palace Jamaica is a sprawling all-inclusive that’d give Vegas joints a run for their money in scale, features, and extravagance. all inclusive trips jamaica

One of the original resorts along Jamaica's north coast, Half Moon feels as big as its reputation. And that's a good thing. The massive resort sprawls across its manicured beachfront landscape in a way that gives everything and everyone plenty of space — from the beach to the tennis courts and everywhere in between. The look is colonial, and varies from classic to entirely modern depending on where you find yourself in the resort. Everything from a gorgeous spa to a new natural juice bar, updated fitness amenities, and even massive villas that are a perfect splurge for families or friend get-togethers make this a must-stay spot. Drinks at the west-facing bar are a must, as well, especially at sunset. The all-inclusive plan at Half Moon is optional, unlike other Montego Bay area resorts, but we recommend going for it as paying as you go will add up quickly.

Secrets St. James Montego Bay

Secrets St. James is a slightly less luxe resort than its sister property, Secrets Wild Orchid , but it's still a great option nonetheless. It also happens to have slightly lower rates than its posh neighbor (while sharing many of the amenities). Secrets St. James features a laundry list of property features , including 10 restaurants, eight bars, an expansive spa, nearly half a mile of beach, and tons of activities: a theater, dive center, shopping plaza, casino, and game room. Like all Secrets properties, upgrading to Preferred Club status will score you tons of extra perks, like upgraded minibars, separate check-in, and an exclusive pool.

However, the Hilton's Sugar Mill Falls Water Park -- Jamaica’s largest -- distinguishes the Hilton from other area resorts. The 488 rooms are sharp and contemporary, with large flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and private balconies. There are numerous dining options, ranging from buffets to Italian and local fare, and top-shelf drinks can be scored at many of the bars.

You'll find open-air dining, a variety of water and land sports, and enough entertainment and relaxation options to keep everyone happy and relaxed. Sunset at the Palms

Across the street from the beach in the Negril area, the Sunset at the Palms has a warm, helpful staff, intimate setting, and great food -- all of which create a relaxing retreat that's a far cry from the crowded chaos at most all-inclusives. We especially like the treehouse-inspired rooms, the intimate pool with swim-up bar , and the themed nights at the buffet. You're not coming here for a barrage of activities day and night, but if you'd like a nice all-inclusive without the hassle of huge crowds, Sunset at the Palms is a great pick. Keep in mind that it's for adults only, and is designed for mellow couples or small groups.

Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort and Private Island

For adult guests who want to enjoy an all-inclusive experience but prefer a resort that’s a bit smaller and more private, Sandals Royal Caribbean makes a great choice. With a number of small beaches and a private island, the resort feels intimate and secluded even though it’s a short drive to both the airport and downtown Montego Bay . It also happens to have some of the only overwater bungalows in Jamaica. Restaurants cater to all tastes, from a romantic French restaurant to a laid-back British style pub to snacks on the beach, and premium alcohol is unlimited. Guests can also dine at restaurants and partake in activities at the other two Sandals resorts nearby, and on-site activities and entertainment are also extensive.

Caribbean vacation destinations.

The best all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, from honeymoon hot spots to family-friendly resorts

Clint Henderson

Jamaica is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean — and it's easy to understand why. This island nation has a bit of everything, from beaches and rivers to mountains and rainforests.

Not to mention, it's easy to reach from the U.S. thanks to numerous direct flights from Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Airlines and others. Even budget-friendly Southwest has a fair share of flights to Jamaica .

But let's face it: What draws most people to Jamaica is its resorts.

Hotels are plentiful here, but many of Jamaica's standout properties are those with all-inclusive packages. Whether you're seeking an adults-only oasis or a family-friendly property with a massive water park, you'll find an all-inclusive option that suits your needs.

These are the best all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica — and everything you need to know about each.

Right on Negril's famous Seven Mile Beach, Azul Beach Resort Negril is made for families who prefer to be in or by water as much as possible while on vacation.

Guests can walk to the sprawling Kool Runnings Adventure Park complex to enjoy waterslides, tubing and more when they're not busy kayaking or snorkeling at the beach. Four swimming pools, including one that's part of the resort's kids club, are also available to cool off in on a hot Caribbean day.

Beyond the water-based activities and facilities, visitors can try out various pursuits on the resort grounds, such as archery and basketball. All kinds of locally inspired classes, which focus on everything from basket weaving to Jamaican cooking, are also available.

This property caters to families with its plethora of kid-centric inclusions (think: loaner strollers, bottle warmers and complimentary baby food in restaurants). However, adults will find several amenities made just for them, too.

There are margarita and wine tastings, fitness classes like pilates and beach boot camp, and a spa with various fee-based services, such as massages and facials.

When stomachs start to grumble, enjoy a meal at one of six restaurants serving Caribbean, Italian and Thai, among other cuisines. Don't miss dinner at Mahogany, which hosts themed nights and features an open kitchen so you can watch all the culinary action as your food is prepared.

After a busy day in the sun, retreat to one of 283 suites. Each has a furnished balcony or terrace and modern beach decor featuring blond wood, white and beige textiles, a neutral tile floor and colorful pops of turquoise or blue in throw pillows and wall art. Upgrade to a swim-up suite for direct access to a lazy river.

All-inclusive rates at Azul Beach Resort Negril start at $509 per night, based on double occupan cy.

Part of the Sandals family of all-inclusive resorts, Beaches Negril is the place for nonstop family fun right along Seven Mile Beach. Younger guests can spend their days at the teens club or kids camp, where they may spot some of their favorite Sesame Street characters. Adults can enjoy a treatment at the on-site spa (charges apply).

For family fun in the sun, visit the water park to zip down slides or head to the beach to borrow complimentary water sports equipment like kayaks, Hobie Cat sailboats, paddleboards and snorkeling gear. If you're a competitive crew, consider challenging each other to a friendly game of basketball, soccer, tennis or beach volleyball.

On-site dining options are diverse, offering something for even the pickiest of eaters. You'll have 10 different venues from which to choose, including the Italian-focused Venetian, the casual Bar B Q Park, a pizzeria and a seafood restaurant where you can dine directly on the sand. For seemingly endless options, visit the buffet-style Mill.

Once you've filled up on gourmet fare, retreat to your family-friendly accommodation. All 185 rooms and suites have contemporary beach decor like tropical fish wall art and white and blue color schemes.

In Negril on Jamaica's west coast, The Caves is an alluring all-inclusive resort that is the opposite of a cookie-cutter hotel.

Each of the 12 accommodations, which include one- and two-bedroom cottages and a three-bedroom villa, is built on the cliffs, offering phenomenal views of the property's gardens, the Caribbean Sea or the Blue Hole — a mineral spring within a deep cave.

The Caves' intimate, mostly child-free setting — kids 15 and younger are only permitted to stay in the Clandestino villa — makes this resort a terrific spot for couples.

Duos can cool off in the saltwater pool, partake in complimentary yoga classes, dive into the cerulean sea for a snorkeling adventure or indulge in a treatment at spa (for an additional fee). Opt for a body wrap using aloe vera grown on-site or a body scrub featuring Caribbean brown sugar or Blue Mountain coffee for a dose of relaxation with a Jamaican twist.

While the property's small size means it lacks an abundance of dining options, know that the quality of the cuisine is top-notch.

There's the Bamboo Terrace, where visitors can fill up on tasty Caribbean fare at night and wash it down with drinks served from a 24-hour bar with an eye-catching painting of Bob Marley. Closer to the water is The Gazebo, an alfresco venue that serves Jamaican breakfast delicacies like steamed callaloo (a mixture of local vegetables) and bammy (a thick flat bread made with cassava).

To dial up the romance, arrange a private dinner in one of the resort's caves or watch the sunset from the waterside Blackwell Rum Bar, which is carved into volcanic cliffs. There's also a beach bar, should you prefer to cuddle on the sand.

All-inclusive rates at The Caves start at $490 per night, based on double occupancy.

Jutting out into the Caribbean Sea from its perch on a private peninsula on Jamaica's north coast, this adults-only, all-inclusive resort is made for relaxation seekers who wish to be far from the typical beach crowds.

The all-inclusive rate covers all kinds of low-key activities, including yoga classes, bocce ball, paddle boarding and snorkeling. You'll also have access to five swimming pools and four hot tubs if you'd rather unwind with a cocktail or a good book in hand.

In addition to various water sports, fitness pursuits and wet facilities, guests can check out the Miilé Spa, where a hydrotherapy area with Swedish saunas, an ice room and more complement the treatment spaces. Book the outdoor treatment cabana for your massage or facial (charges apply) for sea views while you're pampered.

When you've worked up an appetite, venture to one of 11 dining venues — two of which are only accessible to Excellence Club guests.

Chez Isabelle is the ideal choice for a romantic date night, as the menu features French fare and an extensive selection of wines from the restaurant's cellar. For something a bit more casual, check out the Jerk Hut (the poolside Jamaican barbecue restaurant) or the waterfront Kitchen Table (an international buffet open daily for breakfast and lunch).

Accommodations include 315 suites with modern sea-inspired decor, marble bathrooms with rain showers, spacious bedrooms with furnished balconies, two-person Jacuzzis and boxes for discreet room service deliveries. Pricier suites offer extras like private plunge pools.

Reserve an Excellence Club suite for additional amenities, such as access to private beach areas, concierge service, upgraded Bvlgari toiletries and daily in-suite snacks.

All-inclusive rates at Excellence Oyster Bay start at $624 per night, based on double occupancy.

This massive 537-suite property in northwest Jamaica touts itself as family-friendly, and it's easy to see why. Abundant activities and facilities keep children of all ages — and their parents — entertained day and night.

Odds are you're considering Jamaica for a beach vacation. If that's the case, you're in luck, as Grand Palladium Jamaica has a beach with all kinds of activities. Though you'll have to pay for most water sports, select ones like kayaking and snorkeling do not cost extra. Younger guests won't want to miss the kids club, which is divided into three age-appropriate spaces for babies, young children and teens.

Choose from the quick-service Jerk Hut for casual Jamaican bites, a beachfront seafood establishment featuring regional catches, the aptly named Rum Factory (where you can pair your Jamaican meal with a local rum) and a buffet restaurant serving a mix of Caribbean and international dishes. Only the dishes served at Italian-influenced Three Palms cost extra.

For a restful night's sleep, retreat to your modern sea-inspired room or suite. The design is simple but elegant, with mostly white decor complemented by blue accent walls and curtains.

There are rooms with more traditional colonial-style furnishings like four-poster beds and matching dark wood TV consoles, plus airy accommodations with light wood furniture and beachy colors. Some offer a more modern take on Caribbean decor, with sleek dark wood furniture and pops of turquoise, navy blue and gold.

No matter which room you choose, you'll find a stocked minifridge and a balcony or patio. Splurge on an upgraded suite for extras like butler service and direct access to a beach or shared pool. Some overwater bungalows even come with private plunge pools and suspended daybeds for prime waterfront lounging.

Though you may be tempted to spend the bulk of your time in your room, suite or overwater bungalow, you'd be remiss if you didn't take advantage of the resort's amenities. Guests can partake in beach parties on the private island, swim in one of eight pools and try various fitness classes, among other complimentary pursuits. Spa services and local excursions are also available for a fee.

When you need a bite to eat, make your way to one of nine restaurants. Everything from Thai and French to Indian and traditional Caribbean is served here. You can also take the resort's complimentary shuttle to Sandals Montego Bay, where there are 21 additional restaurants that are free to dine at as a Sandals Royal Caribbean guest.

All-inclusive rates at Sandals Royal Caribbean start at $298 per person, based on double occupancy.

Welcoming visitors to the town of Falmouth since it opened its doors in 2016, the all-suite, 228-key Royalton Blue Waters Montego Bay is made for beach-loving families. This kid-friendly, all-inclusive resort is right on the shore, so families can spend their vacation splashing in the Caribbean sea and playing on beautiful white sand.

Don't assume this all-inclusive is only about the beach, though. Younger guests will love zipping down slides at the pirate-themed water park and interacting with the resort's mascot, Turbo the Turtle, at the kids club. There's even a separate teens lounge for the older kids in your crew.

For guests traveling sans children or enjoying a few hours away from little ones while they're at the kids club, the resort offers several adult-oriented amenities. Book a treatment at The Royal Spa (charges apply) or try out complimentary activities like dance lessons, tennis, cooking classes and kickboxing when you're not floating on the lazy river.

Travelers will also find plenty of dining options to suit their tastes and preferences. Gourmet Marche is ideal for those with kids, as it has an all-day buffet featuring a mix of local and international dishes, plus a separate children's buffet. There are nine specialty venues as well, including a hut with Jamaican snacks, a steakhouse and a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant.

Unlike most resorts in the area, this Autograph Collection outpost swaps island decor for contemporary design in its suites. You'll notice lots of white and tan hues and metal accents, plus open layouts with bathrooms that are not fully enclosed in rooms. Choose an upgraded Diamond Club suite for butler services, access to an exclusive beach area and priority restaurant reservations, among other perks.

All-inclusive rates at Royalton Blue Waters Montego Bay start at $580 or 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, based on double occupancy.

Right on the beach in Montego Bay's resort area, the Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa attracts families keen on relaxing in the Caribbean sun.

Though you won't find an activities calendar jam-packed with things to do here, guests can unwind by one of two pools (one of which has a swim-up bar) or try water sports like kayaking, paddleboarding and sailing at the beach.

Younger visitors can also play arcade and video games, take part in arts and crafts projects, go on scavenger hunts and more at the kids club and teens lounge while adults enjoy a yoga class or treatment at the spa (charges apply).

When your entire group is back together, catch up while filling up on gourmet fare at one of seven on-site restaurants. The property's two outdoor grills and international buffet are ideal for a casual meal, while Le Bouchon is the spot to go for steakhouse classics. For Asian fare with an entertaining twist, head to the waterfront Pierside Restaurant for teppanyaki-style dining. Just be sure to make a reservation, as you can't dine at Pierside without one.

You're bound to get a restful night's sleep at Jewel Grande, as each of the 217 suites is spacious, offering at least 806 square feet of elbow room.

Some suites have modern features like 3D accent walls and sleek wooden furnishings, while others are more traditional in design, with wooden four-poster beds, wicker touches and sofas with a tropical floral print. Standard amenities include stocked minibars, flat-screen TVs and balconies with resort or ocean views.

All-inclusive rates at Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa start at $481 per night, based on double occupancy.

Round Hill Hotel and Villas feels like a private club rather than a traditional property, with its tidy rooms, suites and villas sprinkled across 110 acres of prime Montego Bay waterfront. Mostly built in the 1950s, the villas have drawn a who's who of society, including former President John F. Kennedy and first lady Jacqueline Kennedy, who stayed here for their honeymoon.

All 36 rooms face the ocean, and the interiors were dreamed up by Ralph Lauren, creating a stylish yet comfortable setting, perfect for kicking back in the Caribbean. Expect white sofas, chairs, walls and linens with dark bamboo four-poster beds and bright pink and blue throw pillows for a pop of color.

For a stay that feels extra exclusive, reserve one of the 27 suites or villas. Featuring up to six bedrooms, these accommodations come with private outdoor pools. In a villa, you'll also have the option of enjoying made-to-order breakfasts prepared every morning in your villa's kitchen.

While this property isn't a true all-inclusive resort, guests can book an all-inclusive plan. With this package, you'll receive all meals and drinks without incurring additional fees. Culinary options include the seasonal Grille, which specializes in modern Caribbean fare, and the Seaside Terrace, featuring international staples and dishes highlighting Jamaican flavors.

Several activities are also available to hotel guests. You can play tennis or pickleball, enjoy water sports like snorkeling and paddleboarding, take a guided tour of the hotel's gardens or explore the bay during a glass-bottom boat tour. Don't miss the property's live music lineup, which changes daily to showcase local sounds and musical styles.

All-inclusive rates at Round Hill Hotel and Villas start at $828 per night (excluding taxes and fees), based on double occupancy.

Friendly locals, lush rainforests and pristine beaches make all inclusive trips to Jamaica a unique, exciting adventure you will never forget. Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean and home to almost 2.6 million people. Regardless of whether you want to tour a coffee farm or rum factory, snorkel off your own secluded white sand beach, or visit the hometown of Bob Marley, an all inclusive Jamaica vacation provides a unique experience that everyone can appreciate.

An exotic land of Blue Mountains, bustling towns and lush tropical landscapes, surrounded by clear blue waters, Jamaica is the pinnacle of island getaways in the Caribbean. More than 600 miles of lapping coastline are adorned in sands ranging from black to white and over 120 rivers wind through Jamaica’s mystical highlands and verdant plains. Savor the aroma of flourishing coffee plantations, bathe in a natural mineral pool or peruse with the friendly faces of Jamaica’s rhythmic nightlife.

You’ll find a wide range of  Jamaica all inclusive resorts  and hotels, showcasing the unique diversity of the island, allowing you to experience everything Jamaica has to offer. You will find an array amenities and enhanced excursions, such as Montego Bay, which is the tourist hub of Jamaica, the world famous Dunn’s River Falls or you can choose something off of the beaten path in one of the fishing villages or farm towns located on the southwestern coast.

The concept of the all inclusive resort began in Jamaica and it is where is has been perfected.  A vacationer’s paradise where everything you need is available at your resort in one convenient location. It won’t take long to see why “one love” is the motto here.

Getting There

Entry requirements.

All travelers between the U.S. and the Caribbean will be required to carry passports beginning January 1, 2007 as mandated by the United States Department of Homeland Security. In compliance with a new immigration law known as the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, all U.S. citizens and foreign nationals, whether traveling by air or sea, must provide a passport to enter or re-enter the U.S. for both vacation and business travel. A visa is not required for US Citizens to travel (up to a 6 month stay).  Foreign residents of the United States and all other foreign visitors not holding a US Passport must contact the appropriate government authorities to determine the entry and visa requirements.

We encourage you to begin the passport application processes early to avoid unexpected delays. Travelers should allow a minimum of six weeks between their application submission and receipt of passport. Passports can be expedited for an additional fee. Additionally, all visitors are required to travel with a roundtrip airline ticket for entry into Jamaica.

Further information can be obtained by contacting the Embassy of Jamaica at 1520 New Hampshire Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20036, telephone (202) 452-0660; the Jamaican Consulate in Miami or New York; honorary consuls in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Seattle or Los Angeles; or via the Internet at http://www.congenjamaica-ny.org or visit travel.state.gov

Club MoBay Airport Lounge

Enjoy a unique, first-class lounge experience when you arrival and/or depart the Montego Bay International Airport (MBJ). Club Mobay provides a stress-free airport experience by expediting travelers through security lines and providing a sanctuary where they can either relax, catch up with the office, or let the kids loose in "Pickney Place" to enjoy arcade games and other activities; all while immersed in the warm Jamaican hospitality and culture.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations are not required unless you have visited one of the following countries in the past six weeks: Asia, Africa, Central & South America, Dominican Republic, Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago. Please direct any health related questions to the Jamaica Tourist Board office nearest you. Health requirements are subject to change and we recommend visiting www.cdc.gov prior to travel.

Departure Tax

Departure tax is now included with the cost of most airline tickets purchased in the United States for travel to Jamaica. Otherwise it is payable at the Jamaican airport upon departure and is around  $25 U.S. (JA $ 1000)- cash only. The departure tax is subject to change.

What to Wear

Lightweight, tropical clothing is best suited for Jamaica’s warm year-round climate. Pack your favorite shorts and swimwear for the beach and a light sweater, especially for winter vacations. Check with your resort for dress code requirements such as evening wear and jackets. Most, if not all, resort areas will have laundry and dry cleaning facilities, barbers and hairdressers. Most resort restaurants require long pants and a collared shirt for men and island casual for ladies when dining in the evening.

Banks & Currency

Nearly every type of International currency is accepted for exchange at the many banks, licensed cambios and bureaux de changes within the resort areas. Official exchange rates vary, so it might be a good idea to shop around before converting large amounts of cash. Many of Jamaica’s ATMs can be accessed with Visa, Mastercard, Cirus and Plus logo cards, and most vendors accept the major credit cards. Local banks are open island-wide throughout the day and are ready to provide credit card advances, traveler’s checks and other financial services.

An adult 18 years or older can bring the following duty-free items into Jamaica:

1.) Up to 50 cigars, 200 cigarettes, or 1/2 pound of tobacco;

2.) One quart or one liter of spirits, cordials and wine;

3.) Six fluid ounces of perfumed spirits and 12 fluid ounces of toilet water.

Restricted incoming items include:

Fresh flowers, plants, honey, fruits, meats and vegetables (except canned), coffee in any form, firearms, explosives and dangerous drugs (including marijuana). Kosher foods require special documentation- Call the Jamaica Tourist Board office for details.

Outgoing: U.S visitors may carry $600 in purchases after each 48-hour visit. Items made in Jamaica are duty-free. For more information contact the information section and customs house at (876) 922-5140.

Above all else, remember that Jamaicans drive on the LEFT side of the road. Also, keep a close eye out for pedestrians and the occasional crossing of cows, goats, chickens and other domestic animals. More than 10,000 miles (17,000 km) of networking roads connect the islands major towns. Current speed limits are set at 30 mph (50 kmph) for developed areas and 50 mph (80 kmph) for highways. While Jamaica recognizes valid International Driver’s Licenses, visitors from North America may use their license for up to three months per visit. Drivers from the United Kingdom can use theirs for up to twelve months. And those from Japan can use theirs for up to a month. Safety belts are required for drivers and front passengers, and children under 3 must be restrained in infant carriers. Most major towns in Jamaica have car rentals, normally requiring a minimal age of 25.  All Inclusive Outlet recommends that guests utilize resort transporation and resort certified drivers for any excursions outside the resort. Driving in Jamaica is better left to professionals that reside in the country.

Communications

Jamaica is up-to-date and on-line with every level of worldwide communication. The direct International telephone service operates 24 hours a day in all areas, and operators will gladly facilitate third party, collect and credit card calls. Faxes, cables and telegrams can be sent Internationally from most hotels and post offices. Email and Internet access is available in most hotels and parish libraries, as well as local Internet Cafes.

There are three daily national newspapers and five weekend newspapers, all available at hotel front desks, newsstands and vendors island-wide. Many hotels and gift shops receive the International editions of newspapers and magazines such as the New York Times, TIME, The Economist and the London Times.

Five local television stations broadcast island-wide with a combination of local and international entertainment. Radio is incredibly popular in Jamaica, and with nearly 20 FM stations, you can get local and international news, sports, weather and music of all genres.

Car rental agencies can be found in the telephone directory and include Internationally recognized companies and local operators. Some agencies operate at the airports, while others operate in resort areas. Renters must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid driver's license and post a bond with cash, major credit card or travelers checks. Service stations are open daily and only accept cash. All Inclusive Outlet does not advise passengers to rent automobiles in Jamaica. Driving is best left to the resort provided transportation or resort certified drivers.  Roads are poorly marked, narrow, and present many obstacles to the foreign visitor.

Electricity

Just like the United States, Jamaica’s electrical supply is 110 volts/50 cycles standard, and uses plugs that are two-pronged and flat. For appliances without 110 volts or flat two-pronged plugs, bring the necessary adaptor and converter with you, as they are not easy to come by in Jamaica. Most laptops have built-in converters and can be used with an adaptor. And if the idea of lugging equipment around seems daunting, leave it behind- most hotels have hair dryers, alarm clocks, radios and irons available.

Originally named ‘Xamayca’ for ‘Land of Wood and Water’, Jamaica has hundreds of spring and rivers above and under ground. Extensive treatment and supply systems have developed island-wide, allowing all of Jamaica’s water to be purified and filtered by modern methods. The water is safe to drink, clean your teeth with, bathe in and wash clothes with. Those still uncomfortable drinking the water can purchase one of the many Jamaican spring water brands that meet or exceed International standards.

There are two international airports in Jamaica: the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston and the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Air Jamaica serves Sangster International and other domestic airports including Tinson Pen in Kingston, Negril Aerodrome in Negril, Boscobel in Ocho Rios and Ken Jones in Port Antonio.  Guests booking with All Inclusive Outlet should select Montego Bay as their arrival airport since transfers are not available from Kingston to any resorts.

In keeping with international standards, the entry of all live animals into Jamaica requires an import permit from the Veterinary Services Division of the Ministry of Agriculture PRIOR to arrival. All animals must be rabies-free, and must never have been rabies vaccinated. Cats and dogs (with permits) are allowed into Jamaica ONLY from Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Eire. For more information, contact the Veterinary Services Division: tel. (876) 977 2489 or (876) 977 2492. To secure a permit, fax a letter of request to (876) 977 0885.

The use, sale, or possession of drugs such as ganja (marijuana), cocaine, crack, ecstasy, heroin and any other controlled substance is illegal in Jamaica. Violators are subject to severe punishment – specifically arrest, fine and imprisonment.

Jamaica is 4,244 square miles of Mother Nature’s most exotic geographical features. This is the third largest island in the Caribbean and is populated by fewer than 3 million people. Dominated by a series of mountain ranges across the center of the island, Jamaica is a land of flourishing peaks, winding rivers and lush tropical valleys. The southern coast is made up of predominantly black sand beaches while the northern coast is famous for brilliant white sands and reef-protected waters.

Jamaica’ climate is tropical at sea level and temperate towards the highlands of the interior. Each year the island sees two rainy seasons, from May to June and September to November and the average temperature ranges from 66 to 99 degrees Fahrenheit. Hurricane season officially starts June 1 and ends on November 30. While Jamaica has seen little in the way of direct hurricane hits, there is a possibility of a storm during this period. All Inclusive Outlet recommends the purchase of "Cancel for Any Reason" travel protection that will provide peace of mind during this period.

The official language of Jamaica is English, although most Jamaicans speak a local dialect influenced by several different languages. It may take a while to become accustomed to, but once you do the local expressions will never leave your tongue.

After winning its Independence from British rule in 1962, Jamaica chose to be a part of the British Commonwealth and keep the Queen of England as the titular head of the country. The Government of Jamaica was based on the Westminster model, and is composed of the Queen and a bicameral Parliament. Upon recommendation of the Prime Minister, the Governor General is appointed by the queen to represent Her Majesty.

Jamaica is classified a developing country and enjoys a mixed, free-market economy consisting of state-owned entities and private-sector organizations. Tourism and mining are responsible for most of the foreign exchange, while agriculture and manufacturing also contribute to the economy.

Discovered by the Amerindians, claimed by the Spanish and ruled by the British, Jamaica has both influenced and been influenced by the world’s nations. Visit the legendary pirate capital of the Caribbean, Port Royal. See the forts that protected the Spanish and British soldiers as they battled for the island. Walk through the plantations that once bound Jamaica in slavery.  Meander through beautiful museums, where Jamaica’s inspiring landscape has produced world-renowned artwork. It may take a few all inclusive trips to Jamaica, but the country's history is well worth absorbing.

Officially, Jamaicans celebrate ten public holidays per year. New Year’s Day (January 1), Labor Day (May 23), Emancipation Day (August 1), Independence Day (August 6), Christmas Day Dec 25) and Boxing Day (Dec 26), in addition to Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Easter Monday, and Heroes Day (third Monday in October). On public holidays all government agencies, schools and most private businesses are closed, and much of the country ‘closes’ for the day. On holidays, Jamaicans gravitate to beaches and parks for picnics, outings and recreations. Although not official holidays, many Jamaicans recognize events such as Bob Marley Day (February 6) and Carnival Sunday (the first Sunday after Easter).

Jamaica falls within the Eastern Time Zone (UTC/GMT -5 Hours) and does not observe Daylight Savings Time. Year round the island averages between 11.5 and 12.5 hours of sunlight per day, so there is always enough time to do everything or nothing. Destination information is subject to change without prior notice.

Attractions

Jamaica’s flourishing landscape is framed by more than 630 miles of exotic coastline. The southern end of the island, filled with sparkling black sands and elaborate seascapes, hosts the many bays and fishermen’s ports within the region. Head to the northern end of the island, where white sugary sands dip gently into the Caribbean’ s clear, reef-protected waters. This is where scuba diving, water sports and soaking up the island sun are at their finest. A short stroll on these beaches will make it clear why many of them are named among the best in the world by travel leaders such as Conde Nast and Travel + Leisure magazine. As you plan your vacation, look for a Jamaica all inclusive resort with a beachfront location so you're only steps away from the sand and sea.

Both astute and unassuming travelers will find the fare in Jamaica to be more than satisfying.  Dine Jamaican style with delicious jerk chicken at a beachside barbecue, take in the lasting aroma of world-renowned Blue Mountain Coffee or sip fine wines under a setting Caribbean sun. Everything from grilled burgers and Red Stripe beer to filet mignon and rich lattes are enjoyed in the diverse culinary world of Jamaica.

Climb to Jamaica’s highest point, Blue Mountain Peak, where you begin a 7-mile ascent to the towering 7,402 ft. summit. Panoramic views of the island are breathaking from this area.  Drift down the dangerous Black River, a large wetland of over 300 crocodiles and a host of tropical creatures. Journey up a 600-foot cascade of ice-cold spring water at the Dunn’s River Falls. This famous trek is scattered with giant boulders, natural whirlpools and massaging jets. And with a myriad of additional excursions such as caving, cliff diving and hiking, the possibilities for adventure are limitless. Stop by the tour desk at your Jamaica all inclusive resort to arrange any off-property activities. Never take a ride with strangers offering to "show you the island". Be certain that a resort-certified professional is conducting the tour.

Sports & Recreations

Every acre of Jamaica invites travelers to indulge in a multitude of sports and recreations throughout the island. Golfers will find a new home among Jamaica’s twelve challenging courses, boasting scenic fairways, sparkling aquamarines and majestic mountainsides. Many feature the handiwork of world-class designers and host PGA and local tournaments. Divers are fully accommodated with multiple PADI dive centers on Jamaica’s beaches. These dive centers are ready to train, certify and let loose divers into the breathtaking world of the Caribbean. Most resort areas also offer snorkeling, jet skiing, kayaking and body boarding, and surrounding land adventures such as horseback riding and mountain biking are never far away. So whether you’re looking for a round at the links or an excursion through underwater caves, Jamaica’s resources can fill every waking hour with island endeavors.  Most resorts provide PADI certified dive operations and the hotel tour desk is an option for those resorts with limited watesports facilities.

Jamaica’s astounding resort nightlife is ushered in with the sounds of rhythmic reggae and the taste of locally grown Appleton Rum. Resort nightclubs and chilled lounges are ideal for absorbing the culture and perusing with other travelers.

Meetings & Incentives

A 1981 treaty between the U.S. and Jamaica makes all meeting expenses tax deductible, allowing you to enjoy the island with the assurance of economic benefits. Destination information is subject to change without prior notice. Travelers are advised to use extreme caution and common sense when venturing out in any foreign destination.

Weddings & Honeymoons

Jamaica’s exotic landscape and breathtaking coastline make the perfect backdrop for tying the knot or making a honeymoon escape. Sparkling waterfalls, misty mountains, flourishing gardens and white sands are waiting to host your romantic ceremony.   Many Jamaica resorts with all inclusive options have wedding and honeymoon packages with every inclusion you could ask for . And independent vendors, coordinators and services are available in most resort areas to assist in the specifics of your wedding or honeymoon agenda.

The Caribbean is a popular family vacation destination because of its year-round warm, sunny weather, white-sand beaches, breathtakingly clear waters, and easy access from the East Coast. What really makes the difference for many families, though, is this idyllic region's abundance of incredible all-inclusive resorts.

These resorts offer everything families need for a perfect vacation in one convenient package — accommodations, meals, drinks, and activities. The Caribbean's best all-inclusive resorts for families also make space for child-centric programming like kids clubs, dedicated family pools, and even on-site water parks.

With that in mind, we’ve rounded up the best family-friendly all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean to book for your next warm-weather getaway with kids — including a private island oasis in Antigua and a sprawling resort on the Turks and Caicos archipelago.

Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive

Divi & Tamarijn

Also available to book at Expedia.com and Hotels.com

Located along a serene stretch of Eagle Beach, Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive boasts a prime oceanfront location plus an abundance of kid-friendly activities and amenities, like a state-of-the-art kids club and biking, snorkeling, and pickleball.

The kids club is only open on weekdays.

Families can soak up the sun at Tamarijn Aruba, which happens to be on Travel + Leisure ’s list of the best all-inclusives in Aruba . Kids ages 4-12 can stay, play, and eat free at the Sea Turtles Club, where they'll enjoy crafting, face painting, movie screenings, bingo, kite-making, and tie-dye.

Meanwhile, adults can post up on the beach or at one of the four pools — or indulge in a spa treatment — before regrouping for family-friendly fun like biking, snorkeling, pickleball, tennis, and basketball. A stay here also grants you access to over 15 restaurants and bars (including options at sister property Divi Aruba), meaning picky eaters of all ages have plenty of choices.

"I stayed at The Tamarijn with friends, and there was nothing like starting and ending the day on the balcony, listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore directly in front of our room," said T+L contributor Jacquline Dole .

The Details:

Beaches Turks and Caicos

Beaches Turks & Caicos

Also available to book at Expedia.com

This all-inclusive has everything you could ever want or need for a fun-filled family vacation: 20-plus restaurants, dozens of complimentary activities, a massive water park, and complimentary kids club programming for children ages 0-17.

Since the resort is pretty crowded, you must wake up early to secure beach chairs for the whole family.

Beaches Turks and Caicos offers a 45,000-square-foot water park, 21 restaurants, 10 sparkling swimming pools, and miles of sugar-sand beaches. Little ones can mix and mingle with their favorite Sesame Street characters while adolescents can hit up the Xbox Play Lounge or teen disco. The kids camp offers specialized, complimentary facilities for children of all ages, including an Infant Program (ages 0-2), a Toddler Program (ages 3-4), a Navigators Program (ages 5-7), the Adventurers Program (ages 8-10), a Tweens Program (ages 11-14), and Teen Program (ages 15-17). Beaches is also a Certified Autism Center with specially trained staff to support children with specialized needs.

The 758-room property is divided into five villages, which makes its sprawling size feel a little less overwhelming. While you can’t go wrong with any of the room categories, larger families will appreciate the ultra-luxe three- and four-bedroom villas, which include private butler service.

"I was genuinely floored by how many places there are to eat — the food options can satisfy picky eaters and those looking for fine-dining options," said Anna Popp , associate commerce editor at T+L.

  • Inclusions: Unlimited drinking and dining, gratuities, unlimited land sports, non-motorized water sports, scuba diving, water park access
  • Kids Club: Free, available for children ages 0-17
  • Location: Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

Royalton Negril, Autograph Collection

Royalton Negril

Set on a secluded stretch of sand, Royalton Negril, Autograph Collection offers spacious all-suite accommodations and active pursuits like non-motorized water sports and tennis.

Spa access isn't included.

All ages will enjoy a stay at the sun-soaked Royalton Negril, Autograph Collection — take it from me. Even though my family stayed at the attached adults-only sister property, the Hideaway at Royalton Negril, we shared many amenities, including activities, bars, and restaurants.

Dining highlights include the excellent buffet with a separate kids section for comfort classics like chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks, a coffee and gelato shop that serves up refreshing sweet treats, and a lively hibachi eatery where singing and dancing are very encouraged.

While you sip tropical cocktails at the swim-up bar or enjoy the spa, children ages 4-12 can play at the kids club, and adolescents can play video games, ping pong, and tennis at the teen club. The beach area on the family-friendly side is expansive and hosts non-motorized water sports like Hobie Cats and paddle boards.

At the end of an action-packed day, retreat to your luxury suite. The family suites are especially popular because they have privacy doors between the sofa area and the main room, and the bathrooms have Jacuzzis for an extra-luxe touch. I recommend splurging on The Diamond Club, which includes butler service. Helpful staff members are on hand to reserve beach chairs, deliver food and drinks, and arrange dinner reservations — which comes in handy in the peak season around the holidays when groups trying to secure large tables line up at the restaurants.

  • Inclusions: Unlimited dining and drinking, daily entertainment and nightly shows, water sports, splash pad
  • Location: Negril, Jamaica
  • Rates: Start at $330 per night per adult and $440 per night for one adult and one child

Club Med Punta Cana

These are just a few of the over 30 activities included in your stay, including archery, pickleball, snorkeling, kayaking, and tennis and dance lessons.

I admit I didn’t travel here with children, but I was impressed with the kid- and family-friendly programming, including exclusive spaces like a dedicated pool. Cee Bee Kids Camp is great for kids ages 3-10 who like to craft, sail, and snorkel.

“What I love about Curtain Bluff is that when they say all-inclusive, they mean all-inclusive — even the water sports!” says Vazquez. She continues, “You can go and read a book on the beach while your kids are learning how to sail at no additional cost.”

  • Inclusions: All meals and drinks, water sports, land activities
  • Kids Club:  Free, available for children ages 3-10

Feel to bring the whole family — aunts, uncles, and cousins included. “The accommodations range from rooms and suites to huge estates, so whether it's a smaller family in need of a room plus a rollaway, a multi-gen looking for the flexibility of space, or a group who loves the privacy of a villa but the services of a hotel, you're covered,” Vazquez says.

Little ones can splash around in the dedicated children's pool, and the beloved Fly Fishing Club offers a variety of activities for kids 4-12 years old. Other highlights include five dining venues and spacious all-suite accommodations with breezy island-inspired decor and private balconies or terraces.

Know Before You Go

Understand the different pricing structures..

“While some all-inclusives can be a great deal, they don’t all equate to a less-expensive trip,” says Vazquez. “For instance, when booking online, all-inclusives are priced based on occupancy, so if you’re booking a room for two but you’re a family of four, the room price will change.”

Additionally, it's worth noting that some properties allow kids below a certain age to stay for free, while others will charge a fee. It’s critical to have a set budget ahead of time to ensure you’re picking a property that best aligns with what you’d like to spend.

Read the fine print.

Put simply: “‘All-inclusive’ does not mean the same thing everywhere,” Vazquez explains. For example, “Some properties might exclude water sports or certain beverage options, so be sure to read the fine print!”

Before booking a resort, identify what you want in an all-inclusive. Do you want complimentary motorized water sports? Gratuities? Premium alcoholic beverages? Ensure the property meets your specific needs and expectations.

Check for seasonal amenities.

Some activities, amenities, and facilities may only be available for part of the year. For example, the Surf Shack at St. Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort, which offers kitesurfing, wing foiling, and gear rentals, is open from November to June. And at Curtain Bluff, the Cee Bee Kids Camp is open six days per week over peak holidays — and only five days per week most other times of the year.

It all comes down to what you're most comfortable with. If you received incredibly good service, then most staff members will happily accept a few extra bucks for their efforts. (All inclusive resorts and key tourist areas usually accept US Dollars.)

What is the cheapest time of year to go to Jamaica?

Jamaica is blessed with almost 80-degree weather year-round, so there is never a bad time to go. But September and October are usually the cheapest months, partially because you may encounter more rain than in the summer months.

All-inclusive resorts can be a great way to save on food and drinks, but you can save even more by booking your flight at the same time as your all-inclusive resort on expedia.

All-Inclusive Golf Resorts: The Top 9 To Play In 2024

Posted In: Honeymoon Destinations

By Jim Campbell | Updated on April 26, 2024

There’s nothing quite like playing golf in a tropical location with a drink in hand. From courses that have hosted multiple PGA tournaments to courses that are exclusive to resort guests, here are the best all-inclusive golf resorts for your next vacation.

Do You Have To Pay For Golf At All-Inclusive Resorts?

Not every all-inclusive resort includes green fees, but there are a significant number of all-inclusive resorts where golf is included in your nightly rate. The easiest way to find out is by calling the resort before booking and asking. You can also usually find out if green fees are included through the resort’s website.

You may also find some all-inclusive resorts that include certain parts of your golf experience, like transportation to a course or coaching sessions. Or, the resort may give you a limit on how many days you can golf for free. However, several resorts include unlimited green fees.

The Best All-Inclusive Golf Resorts

The best all-inclusive golf resorts offer once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Besides access to some of the most panoramic golf courses in the world, you’ll also find luxurious accommodations, top-tier services, and fantastic food, all included at one nightly rate.

Sandals Emerald Bay, Bahamas

Have you ever wanted to golf along some of the most beautiful waters in the Caribbean? Sandals Emerald Bay is located on the Exuma islands and has its own golf course along the coast. Greg Norman designed this 18-hole course, and six of the holes are located on their own peninsula, jetting out into the ocean.

Emerald Bay’s golf course is the longest golf course in the Caribbean, with challenging fairways and a landscape that hugs the coastline. The all-inclusive rate includes unlimited green fees and up to five sets of tees to choose from. Remember to download the Sandals Emerald Bay Golf Club App before playing to get ahead in the game.

Besides golfing, there are plenty of other things to do in and near Sandals Emerald Bay. The resort is only a boat ride away from the famous Exuma beach pigs and other small islands that will feel like your own. PADI-certified diving is also included in your stay, and what better place to dive than the Exumas?

Sandals Ochi, Jamaica

Sandals resorts have some of the most comprehensive all-inclusive packages out of any all-inclusive resort. One of those inclusions is unlimited green fees at its golf courses. The Sandals golf course, Upton Estates, is one of the best on the island, winning awards from Golf Digest and Frommers Travel Guide .

Upton Estates has a driving range, putting greens, and equipment rentals available. Transportation to and from Sandals Ochi to the golf course is also included and takes about 15 minutes. The resort itself includes many other amenities, such as motorized water sports, daily entertainment, and Jamaica’s first speakeasy.

Sandals Ochi is also a huge resort with three separate villages. There are 16 restaurants, a beach club, seven pools, an over-the-water wedding chapel, and much more to explore. The oceanfront area is more lively while the garden area has a more relaxing and secluded feeling.

Moon Palace Cancun, Mexico

Moon Palace in Cancun has a massive golf course with 27 holes. The course is divided into three 9-hole courses, including the dunes, jungle, and lake. You can play a different course each day or combine two courses for a full day of golf.

In order to enjoy an all-inclusive golf experience at Moon Palace, you need to add the unlimited golf package. The package also includes a deluxe room and roundtrip transportation to and from the courses.

Moon Palace is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Cancun . Each room has an in-suite hot tub, a private terrace, and premium liquor. The resort also has unique amenities, like a kids’ lounge with video and arcade games, an ice skating rink, free bike rentals, and a wave simulator to test your surfing skills.

Iberostar Grand Bavaro, Dominican Republic

Iberostar Grand Bavaro’s golf course has been voted the number one in the Dominican Republic by the World Golf Awards. It makes sense with its beautiful landscapes as you golf through lakes, deserts, and even a waterfall. There is also a practice area and classes available.

For an all-inclusive experience, you must purchase the unlimited golf experience. For the things you get in this package, the cost is minuscule. It includes unlimited rounds, transportation, a golf cart, a beverage and snack cart, and a driving range. Most resorts that include green fees don’t include everything else as well, and it usually ends up costing more than this package.

The resort is in a great location, right on Bavaro Beach, and within 30 minutes of Hoyo Azul Cenote, Macao Beach, Blanca Beach, and one hour from Montaña Redanda. The resort also includes butler service with every room, a bar built into a sailing ship, and some incredible cuisine.

Sandals Regency La Toc, St. Lucia

Sandals Regency La Toc is unique because its golf course is located right on the property. You can literally walk to the course from your room. The executive-style golf course is only a nine-hole course. However, you can also access St. Lucia’s Cap Estate Golf and Country Club near Sandals Grande St. Lucian.

Transportation to and from Cap Estate is included, as well as unlimited green fees. The two golf courses are vastly different, with Regency La Toc having narrow fairways and steep slopes and Cap Estate having a championship-caliber layout. You can even enjoy free clinics every week at each course.

The Regency La Toc is by far the most luxurious of all the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia. This is mostly because of their luxurious accommodations, and it is set within a dense oceanfront jungle. It is home to the Sunset Oceanview Bluff village, which feels like its own little slice of heaven. You can also visit the other two Sandals resorts in St. Lucia to take advantage of their amenities.

Half Moon Resort and Spa, Montego Bay

You decide how inclusive you want your package at Half Moon Resort in Montego Bay . They offer five different packages that include golf in one way or another. The most inclusive includes green fees for three different courses, a free replay at Half Moon, discounts at the pro shop, and use of the practice facilities. You can also create your own package with the multi-round golf promotion.

The course at Half Moon has hosted two PGA competitions and many other international golf tournaments. They host instruction series for those just starting out or those looking to up their game. Learn from some of the best, like David Leadbetter, Mike Manavian, and James Ridyard.

Half Moon Resort has three different accommodations, including Eclipse, Founder’s Cove, and Rose Hall. Each one is tailored to fit your specific needs, whether you want to be near the best swimming spots or stay in a luxurious villa. Rose Hall is closest to Half Moon’s golf course.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa Resort, Los Cabo

Located on the west side of Mexico is Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort. The golf course is highly exclusive, with the only people able to access it being Pueblo Bonito Pacifica and Quivira guests. It also has some of the most oceanfront property out of any golf course in the Baja peninsula.

The golf course is also located on some fantastic sea cliffs, so you will have the best ocean views you could get. Green fees aren’t included with your all-inclusive package. Although, the exclusivity and being one of the best golf courses in the Americas make it worth the cost.

The resort itself has been voted the world’s most romantic resort by travel and leisure, as well as winning many other awards. Even though it’s only minutes away from downtown Cabo San Lucas, it feels incredibly secluded with private beaches, and it is surrounded by mountains. Not only are all your food and drinks included, but you also get spa credits to use however you please.

Westin Reserva Conchal, Costa Rica

I’m surprised that golfing in Costa Rica isn’t more popular, with its lush landscapes, rolling terrain, and beautiful oceanfront properties. The Westin Reserva Conchal realized this opportunity and placed an 18-hole golf course between the Pacific Ocean and the thick jungle. You may get a chance to see a monkey and a few exotic birds while golfing at this course.

Westin Reserva Conchal’s golf course is only available to resort guests and exclusive members, so it will never be too busy. I recommend getting the golf experience package, which includes two rounds of golf, golf cart rentals, practice facilities, and a $25 spa credit. You can also hire a coach for yourself, a group, or your child.

The resort is located on 2,400 acres, so there is plenty to do and see during your stay. Walk the coastline, get a massage in the gardens, or hang out by the lagoon-style pool. Westin Reserva Conchal also takes on Costa Rica’s pura vida lifestyle with activities that immerse you in nature and an eco-friendly approach.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Punta Cana

At The Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, you can golf during the day and party at night. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Hard Rock’s 18-hole championship golf course is surrounded by gardens and is over 7,200 feet long. It’s right across the street from the resort, so you can walk straight there from your room.

The golf course offers a free 20-minute coaching session to learn all of the basics if this is your first go at it. If you have your kids with you, 12 and under are free to play as much as they would like. Finish up a round of golf with drinks and a snack at the Hard Rock Golf Club because it’s all included with your stay.

Everything is included at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, including your food and drinks, live entertainment, pool-side service, and a $100 spa credit if you book on their website. The Hard Rock revolves its entire resort around having a good time, so make sure to experience the entertainment. Each room also comes with a hydro spa tub and minibar!
