Brewery tour

Wasn't sure what to expect. Had a lovely few hours with the tour and tasting. Ben was a lovely guy, who had expert knowledge of everything. No phased by any questions. Tasting was good, with plenty of samples to try. Good measures too!! Would highly recommend ️

We took the advantage of vouchers gifted to us and chose to have the tour of the brewery with a tasting. Followed by some food. The tour was fascinating. As a beer enthusiast, it was really interesting and informative. Our guide Ben was a credit to the organisation; extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his job. There was no question he could not answer and he was full of facts and snippets that made the experience very engaging. The tasting followed and we sampled 5 beers amongst their range. The servings were very generous! Again accompanied by Ben and his in depth knowledge of the beers. Again, brilliant. The food I would describe as pub grub fair and was good quality. In summary, a great day, learning new things about brewing and good food. A stones throw from Ashford International, it’s easily accessible. Highly recommend.

I did the tour today with some mates. Our guide was Ben and he was probably the most knowledgeable person I've ever met when it came to beer. I've done other brewery tours but this one was by far the best. They had 5, 1/3 pints at the end to sample too, which were all great. Would highly recommend. Thanks again, Ben!

We visited The Curious Brewery for a tour that my partner received as a Christmas present. We were greeted by Ben, who took us around the brewery building and then back to the bar/restaurant area for some beer tasting. We tasted 5 drinks in total ranging from Pilsner to cider to stout. We would like to give a BIG shout out to Ben who was so informative about the whole process of producing their beers and was a mind of information about the company and how it sources the raw ingredients for their products from around the world. A really enjoyable afternoon and would definitely recommend a tour here if you are into your beers.

Such an interesting tour. The tasting afterwards was great. Four beers/ciders all very different all delicious. Would recommend staying afterwards for lunch. Food was amazing and the scotch egg is an experience.

Tour & Tasting

We have visited a couple of times and every time has been great. This time we visited for my Dad's birthday and decided to do the tour and tasting before having a meal. The tour was great and Josh was very informative on every part of the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Great food after and a few pints of our favourite. Will definitely recommend to anyone interested

I visited the brewery for the tour and then lunch. Very friendly welcome by Amy who showed us around the brewery. Very knowledgable and happy to answer any questions. We then had a taster session which we thoroughly enjoyed. A nice chance to try the different brews. Once we had finished we made our way upstairs for lunch. Our meal was delicious and piping hot. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon and I will definitely be returning as the Sunday roast looked amazing!

Came to the Brewery for a Christmas meal & tour with colleagues - tour was fantastic and knowledgeable - Amy was a delight and definitely brought a fantastic charisma and a whole lot of character to our tour. Tasting was amazing, you definitely get a good chance to try everything they have to offer - and you are offered a bit more if you specifically liked one more than another. We quickly discovered our favourites and had ordered those with our meal. Food and service was amazing also - efficiently handled an allergy on our table. Nothing is ever too much for the staff at the Brewery, Would 100% bring back all my colleagues to share such a wonderful experience. Thank you Amy and Curious Brewery team.

Our tour of the brewery was great! Our guide, Lucy was knowledgeable & confident, explaining all the processes that make the different types of beer. At the end of the tour we got to taste 3 beers & an apple cider which was excellent & we continued our discussions about the flavours etc. Thanks to Lucy for making it a great experience!

After a positive previous experience, we wanted to return. Booked a table online - Sunday 1930. Later checked online and closes at 1800. Phoned up to query and they confirmed booking. I advised that I was phoning as website said they shut at 1800. Yes that’s right I was told! So I have a confirmed booking but you are closed…….Member of team didn’t seem to get the point. Got an email on the Saturday confirming our booking and then a feedback request on Monday!! Visited for lunch instead as it was convenient to where we were staying. Food was ok, service was not good but staff attitude was really poor. Despite liking atmosphere and convenience of location, will not be returning. Cancelled our future booking and will spend our money elsewhere.

Sadly the quality of the food has gone downhill. We’ve been locals for nearly two years and loved coming here but the quality of the food just isn’t the same as it used to be. Really disappointing. The food used to be exceptional now it’s very mediocre. We had the nachos and it felt like the topping were squeezed out of a tube and the burger patties aren’t the same quality of meat they used to be.
