36 Memorable Bon Voyage Theme Party Ideas

Bon Voyage Theme Party

Updated on: Mar 03, 2024

Saying farewell to someone close to you? Are you trying to think of ideas for the best kind of party to throw in their honor? Maybe you're wondering how to plan a party that they'll remember? Throwing a bon voyage theme party is the perfect opportunity for friends and family to say their temporary goodbyes and still enjoy a fun night for the person leaving. We’ve put together recommendations for a bon voyage theme party from decorations to invitations, in order to throw a memorable party that your guests will never forget. In order to have an amazing party, it's important to make sure you've properly budgeted all of your checklist items so you can enjoy the party and not the stress of planning.

Bon Voyage Theme Party Decorations

1. banner and signs.

No bon voyage theme party is complete without decorations like a banner or travel sign . Hang these signs on doorways, chairs, tables, and walls at your venue. These decorations are often made and constructed very nicely, so you can also give them to the traveling guest of honor as a remembrance of the party.

2. Photo Wall

Have guests bring pictures of their favorite memories with the guest of honor and create a photo wall by displaying the pictures for everyone to reminisce on. These images are sure to make your party one to remember while allowing guests to say good bye!

3. Globe Paper Lanterns

For some out-of-this-world decorations, hang globe paper lanterns from the ceiling. You can always purchase solid color paper lanterns as an alternative that matches your color scheme for your bon voyage theme party. Perfect for your going away theme!

4. Suitcases and Duffel Bags

Can't travel the world without a piece of luggage! Create suitcases and duffel bags out of paper, cardboard, or wood to place around your venue. To make it more personalized, have each guest bring a piece of their own luggage for the decorations.

5. Welcome to...

Decorate and transform your venue into the city, state, or country that the guest of honor is traveling to. For example, if the destination is Italy, decorate with Italian-theme colors and symbols. You can even make your centerpieces Italian-themed!

6. Bye Bye Balloons

Hang or tie bon voyage balloon letters or travel-themed balloons anywhere at your event to bid farewell. This will bring your party to life because they are especially festive if you are looking to spice up your balloon decorations.

A large map is perfect for a travel or bon voyage theme party. It can just be for decorations or used as a backdrop for pictures.

8. Adventure Awaits

To continue with your bon voyage theme party, but to change the wording slightly, try to encourage that adventure awaits .

Bon Voyage Theme Party Favors

9. baggage claim.

Place all the party favors on a designated table and set it up and call it the baggage claim , for guests to grab their gifts and head off on their next adventure.

10. Mini Globes

Where to travel next? Mini globes as party favors can encourage guests to see the world. If it can be opened, fill it with sweet treats!

11. Compass

What direction should you take? Give a compass as a party favor to figure out! Add this to your list of traveling party ideas!

12. Party Favor Bags

Give guests party favor bags with an airplane or cruise ship on them that say "Bon Voyage!"

13. Picture Frames

World travelers need a keepsake for their memories. Small picture frames are just what guests need to remember your party.

14. Keychains

Keychains are the perfect souvenir from a trip or party.

15. Mini Suitcases

Make mini suitcases out of paper or card-stock and fill them with candy to send guests on their way!

Bon Voyage Theme Party Food Ideas

Take the party outside and follow a tasty recipe video or recipe book to grill kabobs! An awesome addition to any menu!

17. Lifesavers

For an easy and simple snack in a bowl, lifesavers are perfect since they match the theme.

18. Cupcakes

If you decide to serve your guest of honor's favorite food, don’t forget an honorary cake or cupcakes with toppers . A cupcake is a sweet way to say goodbye.

19. Cocktail Bar

Want a vacation-style vibe? Create your own cocktail bar , hire a catering team, or a bartender to provide food for your party.

20. Themed Food

Research the destination your guest of honor is traveling to, and then buy or make that region's local foods and snacks. Add the flags and symbols of the destination to the tables and food dishes. For instance, if you’re serving Italian food, decorate tables with miniature Italian flags and mini chef hats.

Bon Voyage Theme Party Games and Activities

For a fun and quick game, play a couple of rounds of bingo . Always embrace creativity and change the squares if you want to!

22. Who Said It?

If you're looking for more fun activities try this one out! On each party table, place a container out with strips of paper in them. Have each guest write an anonymous statement about their favorite memory with the guest of honor. Collect the statements and read them aloud. Have the guest of honor try to guess which person wrote each one.

23. Photography

Make sure each guest gets their picture taken with the guest of honor. Set up a photo booth with props or find local photo booth services . Don’t forget to take candid photos of everyone together with the guest of honor at the party. Create a scrapbook using a bon voyage-themed photo album with all the photos from the party. This makes for a great going-away present for the guest of honor to have on their trip.

24. Where Am I From?

Write the names of different countries or cities onto name tags , and place one onto each guest’s back as they walk in. If your guest of honor has traveled a lot previously, use these specific places as the options to put on the guests’ backs. Each guest must figure out which country or city they have by asking only yes or no questions. For some extra fun, place the destination that the guest of honor is traveling to on a different guest’s back. Whoever has this destination can win a prize!

25. Suitcase Race

Ready, set, GO! Challenge guests' packing skills by providing them with numerous items and see who can pack the suitcase the fastest. This is sure to be funny and receives many laughs!

Bon Voyage Theme Party Supplies

26. tablecloths.

Cover your tables with map tablecloths as a creative option rather than just solid colors. This is the perfect touch to your bon voyage decor that your guests and guest of honor will appreciate.

Put the meals on the map with these travel-themed plates .

28. Centerpiece

Place a world traveler centerpiece on the tables to hold pictures or balloons to share the adventures!

29. Napkins

These napkins are much needed to wipe away the happy and sad tears.

30. Photo Booth Props

The perfect addition for your bon voyage theme party photo booth !

31. Backdrop

Set up a map of the destination the guest of honor is traveling to for an instant backdrop .

Bon Voyage Theme Party Invitations

32. passport.

Create an invite inspired by a passport . Fold a card the same size as a passport, and glue the front copy of a passport to the top of the card. Glue on the back copy. On the inside, add a photo of the guest of honor as the passport photo, and include all the party details.

33. Luggage

Make the card into the shape of luggage or luggage tag ! This is a nod to traveling and would be great for a goodbye party. Personalize it by including fun colors and the destination of where your friend is going for a fun little twist.

34. Boarding Pass

All aboard! These boarding pass invitations fit perfectly with your bon voyage theme party.

35. Postcards

This is definitely a cute way to send invitations, and they can be personalized or actual postcards .

36. Oh The Places You'll Go!

The possibilities are endless with these "Oh The Places You'll Go!" themed invitations .

Bon Voyage Theme Party: Conclusion

Traveling to a new destination can be intimidating, but it can also be one of the best experiences of a lifetime. Throwing a bon voyage theme party for your guest of honor is a great way to make them feel special and appreciated before they leave for a new place. How to Throw a Bon Voyage Party

the perfect cheese platter is a MUST for any party

We’ve had some incredible interns pass through the doors of team Camille Styles through the years, and saying goodbye at the end of their school year is always bittersweet. Although we’re sad to see them go, it’s exciting to think about the bright future that lies ahead of these talented ladies. In that spirit, we threw a goodbye and good luck party for our current rockstar intern Suruchi, who heads to Minneapolis next month for an amazing career opportunity. She’s been my righthand woman in the kitchen and on the blog these last few months, and I’ll miss her dearly, though thankfully she’s promised to continue contributing to the blog from afar. For her Bon Voyage-themed fête, we teamed up with Target to design an easy breezy appetizer buffet with a nautical vibe. It’s the perfect look for any springtime get-together, and we’re sharing tons of tips in the following slides for keeping things super easy on the host so you can have fun right alongside your guests. As they say, parting is such sweet sorrow…

A Bon Voyage Themed Party

Last Sunday I was on the phone with my good friend Jackie and inquired about when she was expecting the movers. “On Monday” she replied. “What!” I practically shouted. “I know. It’s come up too quickly.” She said. It was time for A Bon Voyage Themed Party.

A Bon Voyage Themed Party

I quickly looked around my house and saw some spaces that were still in a disheveled state from my recent trip to California. I thought of Erma Bombeck and her “ If I Had My Life To Live Over ” poem which includes the line “I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded”. Yes, messy rooms aside, in the grand scheme of things it was more important that we see our friends before they moved east than to keep my house pride.

A Bon Voyage Themed Party

Having just a day to throw something together I quickly scanned Pinterest . Why there was a whole smorgasbord of “Bon Voyage” themed parties!

I adored David Stark’s map inspired party . The wall map had “Bon Voyage” spelled out in red thumbtacks. Brilliant!

A romantic version was created by Ampersand and Ink Designs . I think this would make a lovely bridal shower theme.

Don’t forget your vintage suitcases and steamer trunks.

Love the day created darling flags and mini garlands out of maps.

Cute decor for a Bon Voyage party

Catch my party rolled up plastic ware in navy paper napkins and secured them with a candy “life preserver” and red ribbon. Too cute!

Lifesaver napkins

If you were having a large gathering party favors are especially darling in the form of miniature suitcases.

Bon voyage party favors

I also thought about how cute it would it be for a large party to have name tags kind of like this:

A fun and unique place card wall, as well as a keepsake, was a nice surprise for each guest. Luggage tags were in tune with the "Where in the World" theme throughout this blue and white wedding.

Bon Voyage Themed Food

Don’t even get me started on the “Bon Voyage” themed food. I loved the watermelon ship. Or perhaps it’s a Love Boat.

Pirate watermelon ship

I don’t know if I could eat this work of art.

Hostess with the Mostess shared truly yummy looking cookies.

Wall Decor and More

Then there are all sorts of vintage travel themed posters.

French travel-inspired printables.

In the end, I settled on an image that featured the Fashionista and Sweet Boy at precisely the ages they were when we first met our friends. Eight years ago both of our families had just moved to Phoenix and we were living at the Residence Inn while we looked for a house.

Shannon (in pink) was not even a year old when she toddled over to our breakfast table under the watchful eye of her parents. She went straight for Mr. Décor who always attracts kids and puppies and smiled the biggest smile. It was love at first sight for all of us. Sweet Boy became fast friends with Erin and Shannon both.

A Bon Voyage Themed Party

When you are in the Air Force and separated from loved ones you learn to create new family units that have no bloodlines. As we settled just a few blocks from one another we have celebrated numerous birthdays and holidays with our dear friends. They could be counted on in good times and in bad. A rarity in this world.

A Bon Voyage Themed Party

A soft turquoise linen cloth was laid down and covered by a snowy white topper. Simple plates and cutlery were laid out along with the blue ticking napkins I had made a while ago. It was topped by a “Bon Voyage” printable. Easy peasy.

A Bon Voyage Themed Party

The centerpiece had been created a few days earlier with peonies that the heat had taken care of. Replacement spider mums in white looked great too.

Tzatziki with flatbread

Roasted Pepper Hummus with pita chips ala Trader Joe’s

Main Course

Marinated and grilled tri-tip and chicken

Laura’s potato salad

Corn on the cob

Spinach and strawberry salad

Rote Beeren (warm red berry sauce over vanilla ice cream)

It was so good that some of our guests licked their plates. (I love kids!)

Bon Voyage themed menu

I couldn’t send my favorite girls home empty-handed. As they are driving to their new home I transformed J. Crew bags with a printable, ribbons and filled them with travel-sized snacks (both healthy and fun) as well as a few travel activity books.

bon voyage party bags

I know it will not be the last time we will see our friends. (Their new home has a gorgeous guest room!) But still, they will be sorely missed. Sniff.

Bon Voyage sweet friends!

OH that is so cute Laura! Oh I bet your will miss your dear friends. And thanks for sharing all the fun ideas, amazing what folks come up with. Hugs friend, Cindy

I was blown away at your inspiration photos. So many wonderful ideas! I couldn't eat that cake either. The ideas you settled on were great ones, and the menu sounds wonderful.

I love it that you remind us of that quote from Bombeck. Providentially, I think, I needed to be reminded of it this morning.

I'm sorry you are losing your good friends and hope you get to see them soon and often.

9 Thoughtful Going Away Party Ideas and Tips

goodbye party

Saying goodbye is never easy. But if you do have to do it, then what better way than with a going away party? Going away parties are a great opportunity to let someone close to you who’s moving away know just how much you appreciate them—and how much you’ll miss them when they’re gone. And we’ve got plenty of going away party ideas to inspire your planning efforts.

If you’ve never planned a party before, don’t worry. Going away parties can be as casual as you want them to be, and there are very few rules or expectations around what they’ll entail. So put on your party planning hat and get to work with these fun, thoughtful, and always appreciated going away party ideas.

Pick a Venue

Unless the person who is moving away offers it up, don’t assume that you can host the going away party at their home. Instead, choose another venue where you can bring together all their favorite people in one place.

Make Your Guest List

Send out invites a few weeks in advance—and be sure to ask for rsvps.

All the stellar going away party ideas in the world aren’t going to matter if you forget to give people enough notice. Settle on your date early on (be sure your party recipient is free first), and then send out your invites about three weeks in advance. Evites or even a text or email will do, just be sure to provide key information like when the party is, where it is, what time it is, and any expectations—such as if you want everyone to bring a gift or be ready to share a memory.

Pick a Theme

Going away parties are a great opportunity to have some fun with a party theme—especially those that might otherwise come off as a little kitschy. Here are some of our favorite going away party ideas when it comes to themes:

  • Packing parties. If your guest of honor is up for hosting the party at their home, why not get them some packing help out of it? Provide all of the accouterments you normally would like food, drinks, and music, but also put out packing materials and encourage guests to fill up one or more boxes.
  • Destination parties. Use the going away party as an opportunity to celebrate your friend’s new journey and soon-to-be life in a new town or city. If they’re moving to Miami, for example, decorate the room with palm trees and flip flops and serve some empanadas and margaritas. It’s a festive way to say “we’ll miss you” while also showing how excited you are for their next adventure.
  • Bon voyage parties. Sometimes classic is the best way to go when it comes to going away party ideas. Throw a bon voyage party with a travel theme, with decorations like map tablecloths and a cooler full of airplane bottles of wine.

Provide Some Refreshments

Ask for useful gifts, include some going-away party games or entertainment, give a toast, have a sign-in book.

The best going away party ideas are those that make your friend feel special and loved, but even just throwing the party in the first place is going to go a long way toward that goal. Know that your friend will be appreciative no matter what you do, and that like most things in life, it really is the thought that counts. So have fun with it, and don’t take it too seriously—everyone getting a chance to be together before your friend moves is a success in itself.

The Comprehensive Guide to Moscow Nightlife

bon voyage party decor

Moscow’s nightlife scene is thriving, and arguably one of the best the world has to offer – top-notch Russian women, coupled with a never-ending list of venues, Moscow has a little bit of something for everyone’s taste. Moscow nightlife is not for the faint of heart – and if you’re coming, you better be ready to go Friday and Saturday night into the early morning.

This comprehensive guide to Moscow nightlife will run you through the nuts and bolts of all you need to know about Moscow’s nightclubs and give you a solid blueprint to operate with during your time in Moscow.

What you need to know before hitting Moscow nightclubs

Prices in moscow nightlife.

Before you head out and start gaming all the sexy Moscow girls , we have to talk money first. Bring plenty because in Moscow you can never bring a big enough bankroll. Remember, you’re the man so making a fuzz of not paying a drink here or there will not go down well.

Luckily most Moscow clubs don’t do cover fees. Some electro clubs will charge 15-20$, depending on their lineup. There’s the odd club with a minimum spend of 20-30$, which you’ll drop on drinks easily. By and large, you can scope out the venues for free, which is a big plus.

Bottle service is a great deal in Moscow. At top-tier clubs, it starts at 1,000$. That’ll go a long way with premium vodka at 250$, especially if you have three or four guys chipping in. Not to mention that it’s a massive status boost for getting girls, especially at high-end clubs.

Without bottle service, you should estimate a budget of 100-150$ per night. That is if you drink a lot and hit the top clubs with the hottest girls. Scale down for less alcohol and more basic places.

Dress code & Face control

Door policy in Moscow is called “face control” and it’s always the guy behind the two gorillas that gives the green light if you’re in or out.

In Moscow nightlife there’s only one rule when it comes to dress codes:

You can never be underdressed.

People dress A LOT sharper than, say, in the US and that goes for both sexes. For high-end clubs, you definitely want to roll with a sharp blazer and a pocket square, not to mention dress shoes in tip-top condition. Those are the minimum requirements to level the playing field vis a vis with other sharply dressed guys that have a lot more money than you do. Unless you plan to hit explicit electro or underground clubs, which have their own dress code, you are always on the money with that style.

Getting in a Moscow club isn’t as hard as it seems: dress sharp, speak English at the door and look like you’re in the mood to spend all that money that you supposedly have (even if you don’t). That will open almost any door in Moscow’s nightlife for you.

Types of Moscow Nightclubs

In Moscow there are four types of clubs with the accompanying female clientele:

High-end clubs:

These are often crossovers between restaurants and clubs with lots of tables and very little space to dance. Heavy accent on bottle service most of the time but you can work the room from the bar as well. The hottest and most expensive girls in Moscow go there. Bring deep pockets and lots of self-confidence and you have a shot at swooping them.

Regular Mid-level clubs:

They probably resemble more what you’re used to in a nightclub: big dancefloors, stages and more space to roam around. Bottle service will make you stand out more but you can also do well without. You can find all types of girls but most will be in the 6-8 range. Your targets should always be the girls drinking and ideally in pairs. It’s impossible not to swoop if your game is at least half-decent.

Basic clubs/dive bars:

Usually spots with very cheap booze and lax face control. If you’re dressed too sharp and speak no Russian, you might attract the wrong type of attention so be vigilant. If you know the local scene you can swoop 6s and 7s almost at will. Usually students and girls from the suburbs.

Electro/underground clubs:

Home of the hipsters and creatives. Parties there don’t mean meeting girls and getting drunk but doing pills and spacing out to the music. Lots of attractive hipster girls if that is your niche. That is its own scene with a different dress code as well.

What time to go out in Moscow

Moscow nightlife starts late. Don’t show up at bars and preparty spots before 11pm because you’ll feel fairly alone. Peak time is between 1am and 3am. That is also the time of Moscow nightlife’s biggest nuisance: concerts by artists you won’t know and who only distract your girls from drinking and being gamed. From 4am to 6am the regular clubs are emptying out but plenty of people, women included, still hit up one of the many afterparty clubs. Those last till well past 10am.

As far as days go: Fridays and Saturdays are peak days. Thursday is an OK day, all other days are fairly weak and you have to know the right venues.

The Ultimate Moscow Nightclub List

Short disclaimer: I didn’t add basic and electro clubs since you’re coming for the girls, not for the music. This list will give you more options than you’ll be able to handle on a weekend.

Preparty – start here at 11PM

Classic restaurant club with lots of tables and a smallish bar and dancefloor. Come here between 11pm and 12am when the concert is over and they start with the actual party. Even early in the night tons of sexy women here, who lean slightly older (25 and up).

The second floor of the Ugolek restaurant is an extra bar with dim lights and house music tunes. Very small and cozy with a slight hipster vibe but generally draws plenty of attractive women too. A bit slower vibe than Valenok.

Very cool, spread-out venue that has a modern library theme. Not always full with people but when it is, it’s brimming with top-tier women. Slow vibe here and better for grabbing contacts and moving on.

bon voyage party decor

High-end: err on the side of being too early rather than too late because of face control.

Secret Room

Probably the top venue at the moment in Moscow . Very small but wildly popular club, which is crammed with tables but always packed. They do parties on Thursdays and Sundays as well. This club has a hip-hop/high-end theme, meaning most girls are gold diggers, IG models, and tattooed hip hop chicks. Very unfavorable logistics because there is almost no room no move inside the club but the party vibe makes it worth it. Strict face control.

Close to Secret Room and with a much more favorable and spacious three-part layout. This place attracts very hot women but also lots of ball busters and fakes that will leave you blue-balled. Come early because after 4am it starts getting empty fast. Electronic music.

A slightly kitsch restaurant club that plays Russian pop and is full of gold diggers, semi-pros, and men from the Caucasus republics. Thursday is the strongest night but that dynamic might be changing since Secret Room opened its doors. You can swoop here but it will be a struggle.

bon voyage party decor

Mid-level: your sweet spot in terms of ease and attractiveness of girls for an average budget.

Started going downwards in 2018 due to lax face control and this might get even worse with the World Cup. In terms of layout one of the best Moscow nightclubs because it’s very big and bottle service gives you a good edge here. Still attracts lots of cute girls with loose morals but plenty of provincial girls (and guys) as well. Swooping is fairly easy here.

I haven’t been at this place in over a year, ever since it started becoming ground zero for drunken teenagers. Similar clientele to Icon but less chic, younger and drunker. Decent mainstream music that attracts plenty of tourists. Girls are easy here as well.

Sort of a Coyote Ugly (the real one in Moscow sucks) with party music and lots of drunken people licking each others’ faces. Very entertaining with the right amount of alcohol and very easy to pull in there. Don’t think about staying sober in here, you’ll hate it.

Artel Bessonitsa/Shakti Terrace

Electronic music club that is sort of a high-end place with an underground clientele and located between the teenager clubs Icon and Gipsy. Very good music but a bit all over the place with their vibe and their branding. You can swoop almost any type of girl here from high-heeled beauty to coked-up hipsters, provided they’re not too sober.

bon voyage party decor

Afterparty: if by 5AM  you haven’t pulled, it’s time to move here.

Best afterparty spot in terms of trying to get girls. Pretty much no one is sober in there and savage gorilla game goes a long way. Lots of very hot and slutty-looking girls but it can be hard to tell apart who is looking for dick and who is just on drugs but not interested. If by 9-10am you haven’t pulled, it is probably better to surrender.

The hipster alternative for afterparties, where even more drugs are in play. Plenty of attractive girls there but you have to know how to work this type of club. A nicer atmosphere and better music but if you’re desperate to pull, you’ll probably go to Miks.

Weekday jokers: if you’re on the hunt for some sexy Russian girls during the week, here are two tips to make your life easier.

Chesterfield

Ladies night on Wednesdays means this place gets pretty packed with smashed teenagers and 6s and 7s. Don’t pull out the three-piece suit in here because it’s a “simpler” crowd. Definitely your best shot on Wednesdays.

If you haven’t pulled at Chesterfield, you can throw a Hail Mary and hit up Garage’s Black Music Wednesdays. Fills up really late but there are some cute Black Music groupies in here. Very small club. Thursday through Saturday they do afterparties and you have an excellent shot and swooping girls that are probably high.

Shishas Sferum

This is pretty much your only shot on Mondays and Tuesdays because they offer free or almost free drinks for women. A fairly low-class club where you should watch your drinks. As always the case in Moscow, there will be cute girls here on any day of the week but it’s nowhere near as good as on the weekend.

bon voyage party decor

In a nutshell, that is all you need to know about where to meet Moscow girls in nightlife. There are tons of options, and it all depends on what best fits your style, based on the type of girls that you’re looking for.

People who party at high-end clubs tend to visit Miks for the after-party. There is plenty of alcohol for you to get wasted. The DJs at this joint mostly like to play Tech and House. Do not worry about the price, as the cover charge is minimal at Miks. The place is dimly lit and is the perfect place to end the night.

Gazgolder offers a more Berlin like after-party atmosphere to its guests. The cover charge is a bit more than the other clubs, but it is worth it. The décor of this place is trendy and creative. The place is huge, and you can sit in the outdoor area during the summer months. On some days, the after-party might continue till the next afternoon. All in all, if you want to party like an animal, this is the place you should visit.

Voda is an ultra-hip joint where you can head over for the after-party. It is a small yet vibrant place where you can get good cocktails. The décor of this club is incredibly quirky. You have to ring the doorbell to get inside the club. The walls are made up of exposed concrete. The main venue downstairs is properly lit. Lime-stone staircase, wooden beams, and bar stools give the place a vintage vibe. The DJs mostly play Electronic music at this pub. One of the most exciting features of this club is that there are no menus. It would be best to inform the bartender what you want to drink, and he will serve it to you. Do not worry, as all the mixologists can converse in English.

This after-party venue makes you feel like you have been transported to Berlin. The interiors of this place have an industrial feel to them. During the day, this acts as a bike repair shop. But at night, you can party at Entuziast till late at night. Mostly the hipsters tend to party at this place. The bar is made up of metal, and you can see racing flags all over the place. You can get a wide array of choices when it comes to beers and cider. Craft beer is extremely popular at this joint.  During the summers, you can sit outside on the beach chairs arranged on the deck. The snacks are light and ideal for eating with a pint of beer.

There are so many different things to do in Moscow during the night. Whether you want to grab a couple of drinks or dance into the night with your friends – you will find a spot for yourself in this city. It is advisable to try out almost all the places mentioned above when you are visiting Moscow. The Russian party life is different from any other culture. They believe in working hard and partying even harder. They mostly like to party when they are done with their work for the week. If you want to experience that culture, you must prepare yourself to party till the sun comes up. It will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

Moscow nightlife beautiful girls

Moscow: nightlife and clubs

Moscow nightlife: despite the freezing weather, the Russian capital gets hot as the sun goes down. Between discos, luxury, exaggerated parties and beautiful Russian girls, the Moscow nightlife offers everything you need for memorable nights.

Moscow nightlife

The city of Moscow is definitely one of the most interesting European cities: the stories about underground lines and secret bunkers, the architecture of its buildings, from the Kremlin to St. Basil's Cathedral, up to the Soviet style of the Seven Sisters and modern skyscrapers, make the Russian capital is a unique and fascinating city.

Moscow nightlife by night

One of the many things that Moscow is famous for is its wild nightlife . Moscow never sleeps. If there is anything true about Russians, it is that they love to party! Despite its freezing weather, Moscow turns out to be a hot city with endless fun, hip nightclubs, extreme luxury, beautiful Russian girls and lots of booze when night falls!

Moscow Russian girls nightlife

In fact, in recent years, the Russian capital has definitively abandoned the gray period of communism and its inhabitants have given vent to their desire for fun. As you might expect in a city of over 12 million people, Moscow has an amazing array of nightlife options and a huge choice for all tastes, whether you are a jazz fan, hardcore clubbers or just plain old alcoholics. The nightlife in Moscow winds through a multitude of alternative and transgressive nightclubs where the watchword is to meet new people and spend a night of unbridled and uninhibited fun . In addition to the numerous discos, in the Russian capital there are also 20 casinos open until dawn. For those who want a break of intriguing relaxation, in the city of Moscow there are also numerous massage salons .

Moscow nightlife

Most of Moscow's nightclubs contain a restaurant, a bar area and a nightclub (the larger ones also have bowling alleys, billiards and a casino!). Perhaps because Moscow is such a large metropolis with very cold temperatures and taxis are so expensive that the owners of the bars and clubs want to offer their customers an all in one place for night entertainment.

So, in other words, Moscow is not the best city in the world for bar-crawling, especially bearing in mind that these multipurpose venues often charge entrance, but rather it is better to carefully choose the club where to spend the night.

For a quieter and more sober evening, head for an evening stroll along the Via Arbat or the Red Square to be fascinated by the lights of the city and the grandeur of the buildings, and admire the shops and street artists. An alternative to experience Moscow's nightlife is to spend an evening of lyric, ballet or opera. The Russian capital is home to around sixty theaters, the most famous of which is the world-renowned Bolshoi Theater (Theater Square, 1, Moscow).

Moscow nightlife districts

Moscow's nightlife is not concentrated in a single district but is scattered throughout the city. However, there are areas with a greater concentration of bars and nightclubs .

The Krasnij Oktjabr (Russian for "Red October") complex, a red brick building located on the island in the center of the Moscow River that once housed a chocolate factory, is dotted with numerous trendy nightclubs and offers spectacular views of the river and the symbolic places of the Russian capital. This is where the most glamorous parties in Moscow take place, there are numerous bars, restaurants and art galleries.

Other neighborhoods with good nightlife are the old manufactory area near the Russian government building which houses some bars, the area around the Trubnaya metro and around Kuznetsky Most , while the Kurskaya groups the clubs with electronic music. We can also mention the area of the Patriarch's ponds, an area that is teeming with quiet bars.

Clubs and discos in Moscow

The crowd is very mixed. Students, young professionals, techno lovers, tourists all gather at Propaganda. Everyone comes to enjoy the music and have fun. It is one of the few clubs where the dancefloor dominates and there are hardly any tables, apart from a few that overlook the entire space. Propaganda is a restaurant until midnight. You can come earlier for dinner and stay for dancing. After midnight, the staff clears the tables from the dance floor and the whole place turns into a club. The place is different from the usual Moscow restaurant / club hybrids, however, because the atmosphere changes completely from "relaxed restaurant" to "underground electro club". Not to be missed.

There are more areas with different music. In the first area, expect a mix of traditional music and Russian pop songs. In the second, slightly larger area, there is live Russian pop music until 2am. After that it is mostly some kind of electronic music. The club is frequented by beautiful Russian girls around 18-25 years old, stunning students or models, and of course there is a good deal of young Russians, middle-aged men and foreign tourists trying their luck! Unlike many other nightclubs, the Icon is a pure nightclub and not a club turned into a restaurant. In any case, if you like to party in a big club and want to savor the typical Moscow nightlife , this is the perfect solution.

Moscow Icon Club nightlife

The crowd is the same as in other high-end Moscow clubs. Men are rarely under the age of 35 and are committed to giving the impression that money is not an issue. The women are amazing even by Moscow nightlife - if you want to meet Moscow's super models, this is the place! Ideal if you want to toast with the Moscow elite.

Moscow Siberia nightlife

The club is located on two floors. The lower floor is mainly frequented by people hanging out at the bar and is good for conversation. The narrow stairs that perfectly fit the student atmosphere of the club take you to the main floor where the real party takes place, complete with a bedlam and girls dancing on the bar counter. In the summer months there is also an outdoor terrace. The place is always crowded and bouncers unnecessarily queue people - having a table or someone inside can be the key to skipping the queue. Otherwise, you might end up waiting half an hour or more. Come early or come back late if you want to avoid the crowds.

Moscow nightlife Rolling Stone Bar

The crowd that frequents this club is quite mixed. People are less trendy and more underground. The place is suitable for afterhours, so most people arrive from 3am onwards.

Moscow Gazgolder nightlife

Immediately upon entering, you will have the feeling that you have come to the local high school graduation prom instead of a real Moscow nightclub. There is no real interior design, but basically just a large hall with a stage and a bar. The crowd is almost entirely made up of teenagers and young people. Not many of the teens speak English, but it probably doesn't matter after all the alcohol. The music ranges from Russian pop and hip-hop to the most famous international hits. Perfect if you want to party and drink alcohol in one of the cheapest clubs in Moscow .

Moscow Tipsy nightlife

Here too, it's full of beautiful girls and it's also a great place to hit them off, as those who come here are notoriously more approachable. The advice is to be very firm with the girls who approach and to make your intentions clear. If you want to be 100% sure to get in, come at 2am when the club is still uncrowded.

Moscow nightlife Miks Afterparty

Oblaka plays a mix of Russian and international pop music. Occasionally, as in many other clubs, there are performances by Russian pop singers. As is often the case in these types of clubs, the music and DJ are not the best but the guests don't seem to care.

Moscow's bars and pubs

The bar looks similar but still distinctly different than regular Moscow posh clubs. Most of the people who frequent this place are over 25, and you can find everything from young professionals to creative types to self-proclaimed models. Great if you want to see the "real Muscovites" celebrate without the overblown flashes of wealth. The proposed music is a strange mix of old and new commercial songs and Russian pop.

Moscow nightlife Bar Klava

Downstairs is a large open space that opens its doors wide in the summer. The interior is rustic, yet elegant, with wooden furnishings and plenty of seating. The interior combined with Ugolek's popularity creates a crowded yet intimate atmosphere, especially on weekends. People come to chat, drink and eat. The upstairs bar has a more welcoming atmosphere. It is smaller, with soft lighting and armchairs to be able to relax. On weekends there is a DJ who mixes electronic music and transforms the bar into a relaxed place, ideal for the pre-party.
