Hicimos esta excursión a través de civitatis y se realizó por el Tour Buen Viaje... nos recogieron en Gijon y la guía Marta nos estuvo explicando por el recorrido características de los municipios por donde pasábamos, además de la gastronomía de Asturias y sus costumbres como los orreos.. Super recomendable dado que para subir a los lagos debes de tener permiso..son impresionantes...una maravilla de la naturaleza...después de disfrutar de poder verlos fuimos al Santuario de la Virgen de Covadonga o de la Santina como la llaman los asturianos..otro lugar imprescindible para visitar...que gracias a la excursión te libras de buscar aparcamiento, ya que son escasos. El lugar es muy bonito, además ahi se encuentra la tumba de Pelayo y por fuera de la catedral tienen una estatua de éste. Finalmente fuimos a Cangas de Onis a comer donde hay un puente romano muy bonito...aprovechamos también a comprar los souvenirs ya que hay bastantes tiendas. Sin duda recomiendo la excursión.. They have steep stairs to the bus with no access and my handicapped mother was turned away. We were sent away with no refund, no exchange despite having inquired the day before. We had expected not to be able to go up all the stairs at Gaztelugatxe, but thought we had confirmation we could at least enjoy the view from below and the San Sebastián portion of the tour. It was interesting to hear the history of San Sebastian and to be shown key landmarks. I was especially happy to see the beautiful San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, which was absolutely breathtaking. However, we spent a lot of time in San Sebastian and certainly did not have sufficient time at San Juan de Gaztelugatxe (only ~1.5 hours). I was able to hike to up to the church in that short amount of time, but it was very strenuous and did not leave much time for enjoyment of the views and experience. It would have been much more enjoyable if we had at least 2-3 hours at San Juan. I also recommend telling guests at the beginning of the San Sebastian tour that they will have free time to roam around the city so that guests will know to pay attention to their location and surroundings. I was traveling alone and without cell service, which made me nervous about finding my way back to the bus station -- It was no issue, but my time in San Sebastian could have been a bit more relaxed. • newyorkgothamgal 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles a nice day trip out of bilbao this tour is well worth the price. the tour i took went to san juan first. if you want to make the trek to see the church make sure you wear proper shoes with soles that have a grip as you’ll discend on some sloping steps downwards and stairs upwards. it’s not an easy walk so if you aren’t fit, make sure you take your time and take breaks. it’s worth the views. also make sure you read the signs carefully on your way back and most people missed the sign to turn right, back up the sloping steps to go back to car park and restaurant. my other tip is if you don’t go during summer, make sure you get coffee and breakfast if your first stop is san juan as this is an isolated area and near summer residences so at the end of the season a lot of things are closed. the tour then took us to san sebastián which is a quaint city. i felt i could see most of the town with 2 hours and was ready to head back to bilbao. But she told us she did not know San Sebastián so the English speaking tour was disappointing. San Sebastián was beautiful. When we arrived at San Juan de La Gaztelugatxe we were sent down a very long road route to walk. We were unaware until our return there was a shorter route of steps. This is before you get to the steps on San Juan de La gaztelugatxe. We went there many years ago when you could park much closer. Great experience Wonderful tour 😀

Great experience 😁 I booked the wrong tour (Spanish speaking) when I should've booked the English speaking one. It was quickly fixed and my partner and I went with the Spanish tour but there was an English speaking tour guide and I'm not sure of his name I think it was Camillo but he was so so lovely so knowledgeable about the area of Bruges gave us all amazing recommendations. With the price of the tour it saved all the hassle of getting there on our own and not knowing where to exactly go, we were shown around and told so many stories and legends of the area. It was very professional but also very laid back we had a great laugh and a great day all in all 😊

Super recommended

We were a bit skeptical about the quality of a free tour, but our guide Cristian proved we were tot wrong. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, explained very well all you possibly wanna know about Colombia's history, nature, traditions etc. 4hours tour that took us around the downtown, including a local variety of fruit, and a coffee tasting experiences. More we couldn't ask. Thank you.

Memorable experience!

The one-day guided tour to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe / San Sebastián has been an amazing experience! All the more because of Asier, a great guide whose vast knowledge and unmatched eagerness to share with us genuine insights on the culture and history of the Basque countries made us travel both in place and time.. and to plan to come back soon again !

I had a wonderful day with my two friends on a day trip last Saturday. We headed to Girona, Figueres and Cadaques. Paulina, our guide, is the best professional ever - that kind of person that make you feel at home at the first sight. I booked the tour myself directly from Buendia website with English guide for 3 people and we were put in the Spanish guide group the day of tour without prior notification. The tour was very good and the Spanish guide very nice.

Kevin,the guide, was very professional and polite.His English was quite good. Bus was confortable and on time...just the músic onboard reggaeton could be replaced by clássical/ chill out músic,instead.It was annoying to have it playing loud...the bus drivers should be more considerate of Passengers. I envoyed very much the tour, the mix of historical, cultural and food that caracterize Colombia. The attention of Daniel and the guide (forgot her name, sorry 😢) toward me. I was quite happy to join the Spanish group actually.

Great tour. Even though it rained during the Peña Palace portion of the tour, our guide Isabella was great. She still made enjoyable and worthwhile. She was very knowledgeable and helpful though the whole tour. Isabella was very considering not just her people in her group but also to others. She made it a point to ask security guards to let those with infants inside the building/palace instead of standing in the rain. They were not even in our group. Very impressed. Highly recommend tours with Isabella.

Our Trip to Lakes of Covadonga and Cangas de Onis with Buendia Tours was thoroughly enjoyable and very good value. The views were spectacular. While the majority of the tour was conducted through Spanish, there was a very helpful English speaking guide also available for certain aspects of the tour.

Great Day Trip to Sintra

If you're visiting Lisbon, this is the best way to tour Pena Palace and Sintra as the drive through the narrow hilly streets there would be challenging for most American drivers. Our guide Enrique was knowledgeable, patient, and very entertaining.

Wonderful day trip of the beautiful Sintra area transported by comfortable coach. The Pena palace was absolutely wonderful and a sight to behold - definitely a must visit if you are in Lisbon! A few small downfalls to the trip - We wish we saw a bit more of the other castles and landmarks also in Sintra (Castelo dos Mouros) as we definitely could’ve seen these instead of have a long lunch break. We probably could have missed Cascais and preferred seeing more of Sintra so have a look at other tours that included this instead, if you like seeing palaces more than visiting a small coastal town. Also just a heads up, entry fees to Quinta da Regaleira was not included and you were required to purchase tickets yourselves separately.

I did the Sintra, Peña Palace, Regaleira, and Caiscais 9-hour day tour with Beundia Tours. The guides Dominic and Henry were nice and very knowledgeable. They got us through the attractions swiftly and seemed well organized. The tour itself was great and using this company made it easy!

Dominick and Henry were our guides to sintra and cascais. They were excellent. Very informative, fun, knowledgeable, organized. We would recommend this tour. The tour should include the option to purchase the Quinta de regaleira ticket when buying the tour. It was a surprise to learn we needed to purchase the ticket en route. Not everyone has data to connect from the bus. It would be better to adjust that option or at least inform customers before they commit to tour. Also, the bus we were on had gear shift issues. Driver had to turn off a few times. And had difficulty leaving the palace because he couldn’t use first gear!!! This felt completely unsafe. Perhaps don’t take 40 ish passengers on a broken bus!!

Excellent full-day tour to Quinta da Regaleira, Sintra, Pena Palace & a last stop off in Cascais. It was a 40mins journey from central Lisbon, but depends on traffic. Our guide Maria was energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable & well organised. It is a popular area so busy which meant queues but Maria gave us printed info on where to grab a lunchtime snack & her contact details if anyone got lost (luckily not needed!). Quinta had some quirky buildings & it was a unique experience to walk down through the Initiation Well & out through the tunnels into the light, rejuvinated! The location of Pena up in the hills meant the weather was changeable, misty & breezy so take a fleece to cover up. The stop at Cascais was only 1 hour but enough time to walk onto the beach & have an ice-cream. Note - had to buy tickets for Quinta separately as not included in tour price & online purchase whilst travelling on coach was a bit of hassle but Maria did organise direct ticket purchase for those who couldn't do this. She also gave us great tips on places to eat in Lisbon which we followed up, brill recommendations.

The guide was 25mins late and did not show any Buendia Tour banner so a small group of us (we didn't know each other) missed the tour because we called Buendia Tour at departure time and we misunderstood a Spanish lady telling us to wait for a big buendia tour bus. Considering the unfortunate misunderstanding, we asked Buendia Tour to give us a full refund but Buendia refused. Luckily our small group bought our tickets through Viator and Getyourguide, who investigated the event and believed our side of the story and gave us a full refund.  Buendia Tour is clearly an unscrupulous business with only profit in mind by refusing to make a full refund to us despite their guide was late, did not display any logo, gave misleading instructions, and will not suffer any loss since their cost has already been covered by the other tourists. In fact, they proudly say that they had over 80 tourists managed by 2 guides, which made me think how much money are they making by charging eur73 per customer with only 1 large tour bus and 2 guides.  In the end our small group went on the same tour by uber, which was so convenient and we ended up spending less than eur50 each, including all the necessary entrance tickets with audio guides and we were able to control our own pace. There are many tours to Sintra and Pena Palace, I would suggest anyone to pay slightly higher premium to join a small group tour for a much better experience, or just try to uber to the different locations yourself.
