Celebrity Coach Trip, everyone’s favourite European celebrity bus ride, has returned for a brand new 2022 season.

Drag queens Ginny Lemon and Sister Sister have joined the likes of Geordie Shore stars Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale, as well as Loose Women panellist Linda Robson and actress Lesley Joseph, in the hopes of keeping their seats on the bus, avoiding elimination and being crowned winners at the end of the trip.

But which comedians, reality stars and soap actors are battling it out for the crown on the bus-bound bonanza – and who has been voted off so far?

Matt Richardson is amongst the 2022 line-up for Celebrity Coach Trip.

The 30-year-old comedian previously co-presented the ITV2 spin-off show The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack in 2013.

“I can’t wait to spend a holiday on a coach filled with celebs. It’s what I normally do, so filming it just makes sense,” he joked.

Will Best [ELIMINATED EPISODE 6]

Broadcaster Will Best has also set off on the bus-bound bonanza.

The star rose to fame on some of the UK’s biggest youth music programmes including MTV, T4, Freshly Squeezed and 4Music. He has also appeared on Channel 4's coverage of Snow Bombing and the iTunes Festival.

“The chance to go on holiday with a mate, meet the icon that is Brendan, AND clear my rent arrears, all in one fell swoop? Yes please! Although if no one from Bananarama is on board I’m kicking off," he said.

Celena Cherry, the first of two contestants from British R&B group Honeyz, has also boarded the bus.

She said: “After being housebound for so long due to COVID, I couldn’t wait to get out there and touch and meet new people! Plus Brendan was an added bonus, always wanted to meet him!"

Cherry is being accompanied by her bandmate Mariama.

“I jumped at the chance to get away for some sunshine, silliness and adventure, and of course to meet Brendan!” Mariama said.

The actress Linda Robson has also joined the 2022 line-up for Celebrity Coach Trip.

She is best known for her role as Tracy Stubbs in Birds of a Feather and is also a regular panellist on Loose Women. The star also appeared on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in November 2012.

“Me and Lesley had the most exciting, wonderful time - loved every minute of our trip and am missing Brendan and all the trippers! Can’t wait for my family to see our adventure," she said.

Paired with: Linda Robson

Linda Robson’s Birds of a Feather co-star Leslie Joseph is also taking part in the competition.

“I love travel, and travel with a friend is even better, so the chance to go on holiday with Linda was too good to miss. Not only that, we got to meet the wonderful Brendan – he is a legend. We had such good fun, I hope the viewers enjoy it too. After months of lockdown it made it such a special experience," she said.

Sister Sister

Paired with: Ginny Lemon

Sister Sister, best known for their appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race, is appearing alongside Ginny Lemon, who competed against each other in season two of the show.

Sister Sister made it through to the finals of the contest, which saw The Vivienne take home the crown.

Winter Love Island winners Paige Turley and Finley Tapp joined the trip in Lisbon in episode eight.

The couple will be travelling around Europe with everyone’s favourite tour guide as they battle to keep their seats.

Paige Turley , who rose to fame on Winter Love Island 2020 has joined Celebrity Coach Trip alongside her boyfriend Finley Tapp.

Since Love Island, Turley released a debut single in 2020, which was a cover of Artful Dodger’s hit Movin Too Fast, after landing a record deal, but can she keep her seat on the bus-bound bonanza?

Tom Malone Jr

Paired with: Bryony Briscoe

Former Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr has swapped his sofa for a coach and joined the latest series of Celebrity Coach Trip.

Tom, who departed from Gogglebox in February 2021 after six years on the show, announced on social media that he’d be joining the show with his girlfriend, Bryony Briscoe.

He told his Instagram followers that they were both “excited” and “nervous” to be involved in the new series.

"So excited/nervous to announce that we'll be on this years Celebrity Coach Trip !" he wrote. "It was a wild trip with some crazy characters but we loved every minute!"

Model Bryony Briscoe has joined Celebrity Coach Trip and is partnered up with her boyfriend Tom Malone Jr.

Lateysha Grace

Paired with: Honey G

Million Dollar Baby star Lateysha Grace has joined Celebrity Coach Trip.

Lateysha has partnered up with former X Factor star Honey G.

Lateysha was soon causing drama following her arrival on the bus, and quickly clashed with Celena and Mariama ahead of their exits.

X Factor icon Honey G has also joined Celebrity Coach Trip alongside Million Dollar Baby star Lateysha Grace.

X Factor fans will remember that Honey G finished fifth on the show in 2016 and was signed by Simon Cowell’s label Syco.

James Tindale

Paired with: Sophie Kasaei

James Tindale, who is best known for his time on Geordie Shore, is also taking on the coach-based challenge.

“I love meeting new people and getting out of my comfort zone and pushing myself so Coach Trip is right up my street," he said.

James’ fellow Geordie Shore cast member Sophie Kasaei has also joined the ranks.

“I have always been the biggest fan of Coach Trip from when I can remember," she said. "Forget all the other reality TV shows – my dream was to do Coach Trip! I have been such a massive fan of Brendan, watching him with my family on weekday afternoons! The experience of travelling around Portugal with a bunch of celebs? Yes please! It was everything I could have imagined and more."

Ashley McKenzie

Paired with: Paul Danan

Team GB athlete Ashley McKenzie has also joined the 2022 line-up for Celebrity Coach Trip. He was part of the Judo squad in the London 2012 Olympics.

“I’m used to travelling the world as part of the Great Britain Judo squad, but never have a chance to really experience or enjoy the places I visit, as I’m always there training or competing," he said.

"Coach Trip gave me the opportunity to see new places and meet new people, which is why I decided to take part.”

Soap star Paul Danan has also boarded the bus.

The actor is best known for his role as Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks between 1997 and 2001. He also joined Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.

“I’ve watched the show for years and always loved it, and thought it would be amazing to go on a road trip after doing a road trip with Calum Best and Fran Cosgrave on our own show back in the day," he said.

"I’d never been to Portugal and wanted to be part of an iconic show and bring some Danan TV gold back again!”

Celebrity Coach Trip 2022 release date

Celebrity Coach Trip 2022 kicked off on 3rd January 2022 at 8pm on E4.

All of the episodes will be available to watch on All 4.

Who’s On Celebrity Coach Trip 2022?

Celebrity coach trip is back after two years of travel restrictions and lockdowns..

Celebrity Coach Trip has landed on our TV screens after a two-year hiatus - and fans are keen to know what the full lineup is.

The E4 show sees a group of celebrities embark upon a European bus tour - which explains why it’s been out of action for the past two years with Covid-19 travel restrictions - where they’ll be buddied up in pairs and complete a number of excursions and cultural activities along the way.

At the end of each day, the pairs have to vote for who they least enjoyed travelling with. The pair with the most votes is handed a yellow card; two yellow cards will see them given a red card and be sent home on the next flight, only to be replaced by a new celebrity pair to fill up the coach. At the end of the journey, one pair will be crowned the winner.

This year, the group of celebs set off on their three-week adventure from Braga, Portugal aboard tour guide Brendan Sheerin’s infamous coach. Episode one aired on Monday 3rd January 2022.

Celebrity Coach Trip 2022 cast

The Celebrity Coach Trip line-up for 2022 is as follows: 

Matt Richardson and Will Best

Presenter and stand-up comedian Matt Richardson is paired up with actor and presenter Will Best.

Matt Richardson is best known for presenting the ITV2 spin-off show The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack in 2013.

Will Best has presented some of the UK’s biggest youth music channels, including MTV, T4, Freshly Squeezed and 4Music. He’s also presented for the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV, most notably on T4 on the Beach and Dance Dance Dance .

Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph

Loose Women panelist and actress Linda Robson is partnered up with fellow actress Lesley Joseph on this European tour. 

Lesley is known for her role in Birds of a Feather , which is where she met Linda, who also starred in the series. 

“I love travel, and travel with a friend is even better, so the chance to go on holiday with Linda was too good to miss,” said Lesley. “After months of lockdown it made it such a special experience.”

Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale

Geordie Shore stars Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale make the third celebrity pair on this year’s Celebrity Coach Trip .

Superfan Sophie said, “I have always been the biggest fan of Coach Trip from when I can remember. Forget all the other reality tv shows, my dream was to do Coach Trip ! I have been such a massive fan of Brendan, watching him with my family on weekday afternoons! The experience of travelling around Portugal with a bunch of celebs? Yes please! It was everything I could have imagined and more.” 

Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman

The Honeyz bandmates Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman make the next twosome. 

At their peak, British RnB group The Honeyz had five UK top 10 hits between 1998 and 2000. Now, two of its band members have taken on a different kind of challenge and are both huge fans of international tour guide Brendan.

Ashley McKenzie and Paul Danan

Last, but certainly not least, there’s Olympian Ashley McKenzie who is paired up with actor Paul Danan.

Ashley McKenzie is a judoka who competed for Team GB’s Judo Team in the London 2012 Olympics. But Celebrity Coach Trip isn’t his first stint in reality TV; Ashley made it to the final of Celebrity Big Brother in 2012.

“I’m used to travelling the world as part of the Great Britain Judo squad, but never have a chance to really experience or enjoy the places I visit, as I’m always there training or competing,” said Ashley. “ Coach Trip gave me the opportunity to see new places and meet new people, which is why I decided to take part.”

Paul Danan is best known for playing Sol Patrick in Hollyoaks. He too is no novice to reality TV, having appeared in Celebrity Love Island in 2006. Paul said he’s looking forward to bringing some “Danan TV gold back again!”

Celebrity Coach Trip 2022 started on Monday 3rd January 2022 and airs nightly on E4 at 8pm.

Celebrity Coach Trip 2022: Line-up, what is it, release date, how to watch Channel 4 show

After a two-year break, everyone’s favourite European celebrity bus ride returns for more thrills, spills and drama as ten celebs battle it out to be crowned winners. Find out everything you need to know about ITV’s Celebrity Coach Trip 2022, including the cast and when it airs.

Celebrity Coach Trip returns for another year featuring the likes of Matt Richardson, Sophie Kasaei and Linda Robson. With a whole new group of celebs including comedians, reality stars and soap actors, set to ride the bus, a thrilling European adventure awaits. So, buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Celebs will travel in pairs in a bid to keep hold of their seat on the bus in the hope of being crowned winners at the end of the trip.

A teaser we saw at MarkMeets for the first episode revealed: “It’s day one of a brand-new trip aboard tour guide Brendan Sheerin’s coach, and the celebs are starting their three weeks of fun in the sun in Braga in Portugal.

Known for co-presenting The Xtra Factor in 2013, the 30-year-old comedian has booked his place on the bus.

Leslie Joseph

Famed for her part in Birds of a Feather, she is also joined by a former co-star of the show.

You’ll recognise this star for his time of youth music programmes including T4, 4Music, MTV and Freshly Squeezed, as well as providing cover for Channel 4 of the iTunes festival and Snow Bombing.

Linda Robson

Linda Robson is known for her part in Loose Women and Birds of a Feather, where she played Tracey Stubbs.

The Islington-born actor made a number of on-screen appearances as a child and has also done radio work.

James Tindale

James is known for his time on Geordie Shore, where he will be joined by another co-star.

Celena Cherry

The first of two contestants from British R&B group Honeyz is Celena Cherry. The band got back together in 2012 in the Big Reunion on ITV.

Cherry will be joined by her bandmate Mariama, which will provide another interesting example of a preexisting relationship on the show.

Ashley McKenzie

Team GB athlete Ashley McKenzie was part of the Judo squad in the London 2012 Olympics.

She was defeated in the second round of the competition by Japanese athlete Hiroaki Hiraoka.

Sophie Kasaei

Sophie too is known for her time on Geordie Shore and it’ll be interesting to see how the two get on.

Cheeky chappy Paul Danan will also be joining the bus. He is best known for his time on Hollyoaks.

Celebrity Coach Trip 2022 starts on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 8pm. It will air on E4 and the coach, filled with its star-studded guests.

CELEBRITY COACH TRIP 2022 - STARTING CAST REVEALED

After nearly two years, it’s finally time for international tour guide Brendan Sheerin to hit the road again in a brand-new series of Celebrity Coach Trip.

Brendan’s coach will be bursting with a fresh batch of celebrities, all eager for an action-packed European adventure.

The new series will kick off its run on the 3rd January 2022 on E4 at 8pm with the coach touring sunny Portugal. Brendan will welcome a host of famous faces who will travel in pairs to keep their place on the coach, and at the end of the tour be crowned the winners.

The first of our celebrity travellers boarding the coach and topping up their tans are: Presenter and stand-up Matt Richardson and actor and presenter Will Best; actors Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph; Geordie Shore stars Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale, members of girl band, The Honeyz, Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman; and Olympian Ashley McKenzie with actor Paul Danan.

The celebrity pairs will enjoy a mix of excursions and cultural outings across the series. But, as ever, at the end of each day the pairs will vote on who they least enjoy travelling with. Meet the new 'Coach Trip' cast!

It's been far too long since we got our last fix of Brendan Sheerin, so shout 'hurrah!' from the rooftops because everyone's favourite teatime reality show is back on air in February. International tour guide extraordinaire Brendan will be taking a gaggle of new tourists on a 30-day trip around Europe and North Africa.

The first seven couples on the coach include vivacious best friends Barbara and Ellen, who are a beauty queen and a fashion student, best mates 'Big' Bob and Phil 'The Baker', who enjoy getting naked at parties, and mother and son Wendy and Darren, who enjoy a rowdy night out together.

Completing the lineup are husband and wife Terry and Hilary, mums and best friends Jane and Jayne, university pals and politics fanatics Rob and Tommy, who are both single and confess to being hopeless with girls, and newlyweds Ruth and Steve.

Celebrity Coach Trip is back on E4 with a line up of fresh celebrity faces

After nearly two years, it’s finally time for international tour guide Brendan Sheerin to hit the road again in a brand-new series of Celebrity Coach Trip.  Brendan’s coach will be bursting with a fresh batch of celebrities, all eager for an action-packed European adventure.

The new series will kick off its run on the 3rd January 2022 on E4 at 8pm with the coach touring sunny Portugal. Brendan will welcome a host of famous faces who will travel in pairs to keep their place on the coach, and at the end of the tour be crowned the winners.

The first of our celebrity travellers boarding the coach and topping up their tans are: Presenter and stand-up Matt Richardson and actor and presenter Will Best ; actors Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph ; Geordie Shore stars Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale , members of girl band, The Honeyz, Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman; and Olympian Ashley McKenzie with actor Paul Danan .

The celebrity pairs will enjoy a mix of excursions and cultural outings across the series. But, as ever, at the end of each day the pairs will vote on who they least enjoy travelling with. The pair who receives the most votes will get a yellow card; two yellow cards will see them given a red card and be sent home on the next flight, only to be replaced by a new celebrity pair to fill up the coach.

 Matt Richardson said: “I can’t wait to spend a holiday on a coach filled with Celebs. It’s what I normally do, so filming it just makes sense!”

Will Best said: “The chance to go on holiday with a mate, meet the icon that is Brendan, AND clear my rent arrears, all in one fell swoop? Yes please! Although if no one from Bananarama is on board I’m kicking off.”

Linda Robson said “Me and Lesley had the most exciting, wonderful time - loved every minute of our trip and am missing Brendan and all the trippers! Can’t wait for my family to see our adventure.” 

Lesley Joseph said “I love travel, and travel with a friend is even better, so the chance to go on holiday with Linda was too good to miss.  Not only that, we got to meet the wonderful Brendan – he is a legend.  We had such good fun, I hope the viewers enjoy it too. After months of lockdown it made it such a special experience.”

Sophie Kasaei said: “I have always been the biggest fan of Coach Trip from when I can remember. Forget all the other reality tv shows my dream was to do coach trip! I have been such a massive fan of Brendan, watching him with my family on weekday afternoons! The experience of travelling around Portugal with a bunch of celebs? Yes please! It was everything I could have imagined and more.”

James Tindale said: “I love meeting new people and getting out of my comfort zone and pushing myself so Coach Trip is right up my street.”

Celena Cherry  said “After being housebound for so long due to Covid, I couldn’t wait to get out there and touch and meet new people! Plus Brendan was an added bonus, always wanted to meet him!”

Mariama Goodman  said “I jumped at the chance to get away for some sunshine, silliness and adventure, and of course to meet Brendan!”

Ashley McKenzie  said “I’m used to travelling the world as part of the Great Britain Judo squad, but never have a chance to really experience or enjoy the places I visit, as I’m always there training or competing. Coach Trip gave me the opportunity to see new places and meet new people, which is why I decided to take part.”

Paul Danan  said “I’ve watched the show for years and always loved it, and thought it would be amazing to go on a road trip after doing a road trip with Calum Best and Fran Cosgrave on our own show back in the day. I’d never been to Portugal and wanted to be part of an iconic show and bring some Danan TV gold back again!”

Channel 4’s Coach Trip was such a success that the channel opted for a celebrity edition of the show.

What could be better? A load of celebrities that barely even know each other stuck on a coach together for weeks? Sounds like the kind of tea-spilling drama we’re into, anyway.

He often has a harder time rounding up these kind of folks than the regular Coach Trip go-ers he gets. Cue Brendan and his clipboard as Celebrity Coach Trip is back!

The Celebrity Coach Trip 2020 cast has officially been announced. So let’s see who’s on the coach!

Tommy Mallett and Georgia Kousoulou

The Only Way is Essex is just the gift that keeps on giving. The show has given us new words to add to our vocabulary, Gemma Collins and an array of new fashion brands.

One TOWIE star to launch his fashion brand into the stratosphere is Tommy Mallett. He and girlfriend Georgia are ready for a coach trip of a lifetime in 2020.

Celebrity Coach Trip 2020 cast: Amy and Jonathan Tapper

Gogglebox father and daughter duo Amy and Jonathan Tapper are also jumping on-board the coach.

The Tappers are no longer starring on Gogglebox but Amy did move on to appear on Celebs Go Dating in 2018!

Mum Nikki and brother Josh will be sitting this one out, but Amy and Jonathan can enjoy some father-daughter bonding on the trip!

Adele Roberts and Kate Holderness

Adele Roberts found even further fame than being a Radio 1 DJ in 2019 when she took part in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Adele may have been the first campmate voted out of the Jungle but she and her partner, actor Kate Holderness, will, no doubt, fair well on Celebrity Coach Trip.

Antony Costa and Simon Webbe

What would Celebrity Coach Trip be without a couple of members of a noughties pop group?

Two boys from Blue – Antony Costa and Simon Webbe are ready to do some travelling in 2020.

While Antony’s been pretty much out of the spotlight, Simon’s made the odd celebrity appearance here and there. Let’s hope for some renditions of ‘ Sorry seems to be the hardest word ” – or not?

Celebrity Coach Trip 2020 cast: Woody and Kleiny

Internet pranksters Woody and Kleiny are also jumping on the Celebrity Coach Trip.

They’re a comedy duo – both named Paul – which is probably why they’ve opted to go by their surnames.

The pair has over 2.2 million subscribers on YouTube and a further following of almost 5 million on Instagram @woodyandkleiny .

Cici Coleman and Rustie Lee

First Dates waitress Cici Coleman is paired up with TV personality Rustie Lee during series 3 of Celebrity Coach Trip.

Cici is on Instagram with around 120,000 followers @cici_coleman_.

Alex Murphy and Brianne Delcourt

Joining the coach trip a little later in Beaucaire, France were Dancing on Ice professionals Alex and Brianne.

The pair describe themselves as ‘besties’ and are both masters in their field.

Alex hails from the Netherlands and is on Instagram as @almurph18 with around 52,000 followers.

Partnered with Kevin Kilbane for Dancing on Ice 2020, you can follow Brianne on Instagram @brianne_tv where she has over 40,000 followers.
