Comedian Joe Avati is bringing the laughter to the Royal Theatre October 25th, 2024 at 7pm!

In Joe Avati’s hilarious new show he asks you to leave your political correctness at the door. Internationally renowned for his inimitable style Avati, who is Australian born with an Italian heritage, is a master of treading the very fine line saying what everyone is thinking but no one dares to say whilst not resorting to the use of profanities or vulgar shock tactic routines.

In his latest offering WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE he compares the ‘then versus now’ generational differences of today’s children against his own, the complexities of modern day parenting compared to the strict upbringing of yesteryear and threaded throughout all of this he tackles the minefield of comedians and cancel culture, the woke brigade and why people are over political correctness.

His observations are not only deadly accurate but extremely relatable to all ages.

Taylor Tomlinson

Last week, Billboard revealed its year-end Boxscore charts , ranking the top tours, venues, and promoters of 2023. That coverage included analysis of the new wave of genre diverse artists crashing stadium stages, and in turn, our charts. Here, we are breaking down the year’s biggest tours, genre by genre . Today, we continue with comedy.

Comedy is an outlier as a Boxscore genre, as it obviously exists outside of the traditional music industry. That’s not to say that the two don’t intersect – Adam Sandler has been a highly influential in musical comedy since the 1990s – but generally, comedians are playing a different game than Taylor Swift or Beyoncé . Most recently, Bo Burnham ’s genre- and form-blending Inside hit No. 7 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has logged 125 weeks (to date) at No. 1 on Comedy Albums .

With smaller traveling production, touring comedians have simpler stage setups. That can allow them to float from theaters to arenas and from amphitheaters to clubs from night to night. They can also perform multiple shows per night without the physical and vocal tolls of headlining pop stars. Two of 2023’s top 10 comedians played more than 100 shows during the tracking period, which no other act in the entire all-genre top 100 did.

Comedy’s share of the top 100 tours’ overall gross dipped to 1.8% this year. In part, astronomically rising ticket prices for stadium acts are creating a bigger gap between the biggest touring musicians and comedians who have stayed closer to more conservative pre-pandemic prices. Routing is also key – John Mulaney , Sebastian Maniscalco and Hasan Minhaj had much lighter schedules than in 2022.

Scroll to check out the top 10 highest grossing tours by comedy performers, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore. All reported shows worldwide between Nov. 1, 2022 – Sept. 30, 2023, are eligible.

Jo Koy

$13.4M / 198K tickets / 20 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: N/A

Jo Koy played a variety of theaters and arenas in the U.S., mostly promoted by Icon Concerts. He did best on the West Coast, with his six best grosses coming from California, Nevada and Washington.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler

$14.2M / 141K tickets / 15 shows

From the global film box office to Billboard Boxscore, Sandler remains one of the most bankable names in comedy. Austin, Dallas and Nashville were highlights on his 2022-23 tour, which continues into next year.

Sebastian Maniscalco

Sebastian Maniscalco

$16.8M / 130K tickets / 39 shows

Maniscalco has been a road warrior over the last decade, but found a home in Vegas. He played 16 shows at the Encore Theater at Wynn Resort, making up almost $3 million of his year-end total. Casinos in New Jersey, Florida and California add to his run.

Taylor Tomlinson

Taylor Tomlinson

$17.5M / 296K tickets / 132 shows

Tomlinson played more shows than any artist on any of the 2023 Boxscore genre breakdowns. Often with multiple shows per night, she ranged from $1 million over two nights at Radio City Music Hall to $25k and 740 tickets in Brussels.

Peter Kay

$20.5M / 276K tickets / 21 shows

Kay hits the middle of the top 10, almost exclusively from shows in England. He repeated throughout the year in major markets such as Manchester, Glasgow and especially in London – in all, he played 10 shows at the O2 Arena during the 2023 tracking period.

Nate Bargatze

Nate Bargatze

$20.6M / 330K tickets / 113 shows

More than 100 shows between November 2022 and September 2023 led to Bargatze’s first hosting gig on NBC’s Saturday Night Live . The Tennessee native played shows in Chattanooga, Johnson City, Memphis and Nashville, plus more than 60 others during the year.

Bill Burr

$20.6M / 231K tickets / 37 shows

A mix of theaters, arenas and casinos scored Burr his second consecutive year at No. 4 on the comedy breakdown. He peaked at $1.5 million on July 7-8 at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, N.J.

Bert Kreischer

Bert Kreischer

$32.9M / 460K tickets / 80 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: No. 82

A scan of Kreischer’s top markets of 2023 doesn’t find New York or Los Angeles or Chicago or any other typically major market. His strongest showings were in Tempe, Ariz.; Gilford, N.H.; Tampa, Fla. and St. Louis, Mo.

Dave Chappelle

Dave Chappelle

$36.6M / 254K tickets / 19 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: No. 68

Chappelle made lemonade out of very few lemons, playing fewer shows than anyone in the top 10 other than Sandler. He did it by sticking to arenas exclusively, only dipping below 10,000 tickets at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif. (9,862). Four shows at Madison Square Garden earned $7.9 million and moved 49,000 tickets.

Kevin Hart

$67.5M / 631K tickets / 82 shows

All-Genre Top 100 Rank: No. 29

Yet again, Kevin Hart takes the lead, making him the only act to repeat atop a Boxscore genre chart in 2023. Hart played as many shows as Kreischer and demanded high ticket prices like Chappelle and Sandler, amounting to an 84% lead over his closest competition. In all, he reported 27 engagements with more than 10,000 tickets sold, and 30 over the $1 million mark.

We found the cheapest tickets for tyler childers ‘mule pull’ concerts.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Tyler Childers sings and plays guitar.

On April 5, 2024, Tyler Childers kicked off his ‘Mule Pull Tour’ at San Diego’s Viejas Arena.

That night, the country superstar performed 22 songs; 19 with a full band and three on his own when he slowed things down with a brief mid-show acoustic set, according to Set List FM .

The following evening, Childers was back at it again in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum. This time, he played 25 songs, switching up the set list and mixing in new covers.

He continued to keep things fresh at his next two gigs as well proving that no two ‘Mule Pull’ shows are the same.

And if you want to see what Childers has up his sleeve when he comes to a venue near you — New Yorkers, he’s headlining at Madison Square Garden on May 29-30 and at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on July 3 — we found tickets for all remaining concerts on his tour schedule.

Some are shockingly cheap, too (especially considering he’s bringing along big name special guests S.G. Goodman ,  Shovels & Rope ,  Allison Russell ,  Sylvan Esso and Nathaniel Rateliff on select dates).

At the time of publication, our team found some tickets to see the “Lady May” singer live going for as low as $41 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $42 to $184 before fees.

Curious how much tickets cost for the Childers concert closest to you?

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about the ‘Mule Pull Tour’ below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Tyler Childers 2024 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all remaining tour and festival dates as well as venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Tyler Childers festival appearances 2024

On top of the tour, Childers will bring his stable o’ hits to a few fests.

For a closer look, here’s where you can see him at multi-day music jamborees these next few months.

Tyler Childers set list

As noted above, Childers always has a surprise or two in store when he plays live.

If you’re curious about what he played at that San Diego gig though, take a look below.

01.) “Country Squire” 02.) “I Swear (To God)” 03.) “Bus Route” 04.) “Shake the Frost” 05.) “Trudy” (The Charlie Daniels Band cover) 06.) “All Your’n” 07.) “Purgatory” 08.) “Cluck Ol Hen” 09.) “Whitehouse Road” 10.) “Old Country Church” (Hank Williams cover) 11.) “Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven?” 12.) “In Your Love” Solo Acoustic

13.) “Lady May” 14.) “Nose on the Grindstone” 15.) “Follow You to Virgie” Full Band

16.) “Two Coats” 17.) “Honky Tonk Flame” 18.) “Way of the Triune God” 19.) “Tulsa Turnaround” (Kenny Rogers & The First Edition cover)

20.) “House Fire” 21.) “Universal Sound” 22.) “Heart You’ve Been Tendin'”

Tyler Childers new music

On Sept. 8, 2023, Childers dropped his seventh album “Rustin’ In The Rain.”

The seven-track record showcases Childers country bona fides with his homespun Kentucky Southern drawl complete with fiddles, banjo and longing.

Standout songs include the heartbreaking “Phone Calls and Emails” and the gorgeously arranged “Luke 2:8-10.”

However, the true winner here is the sure-to-be slow dance classic “Space And Time.”

Want to check it out for yourself?

You can hear “Rustin’ In The Rain” in its entirety here .

Tyler Childers opening acts

Every Childers concert comes with a handful of special guests.

So, we’ve found the most-streamed song on Spotify from a handful of his openers to give you a taste of their sound before the show of your choosing.

Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats: “S.O.B.”

S.G. Goodman:   “Space And Time”

Shovels & Rope:   “Unknown Legend”

Allison Russell:   “Nightflyer”

Sylvan Esso:   “Coffee”

Bert Kreischer is one of the hottest comedians on the touring circuit today, known for his unique brand of humor and entertaining stories. If you’re a fan of Kreischer’s work, you’re not alone – his shows have been known to sell out quickly, as audiences flock to see the hilarious comic in action.

So what can you expect when you see Bert Kreischer live ?

For starters, you’ll be treated to a high-energy show that is sure to keep you laughing from start to finish. Kreischer’s stage presence is electric, and he has a way of drawing in audiences with his storytelling style that is both relatable and hilarious. Whether he’s regaling the crowd with tales of his wild college days or riffing on current events, Kreischer’s wit and charm are sure to leave you wanting more.

Of course, no discussion of Bert Kreischer would be complete without mentioning one of his most famous routines – “The Machine.” For those who haven’t heard it, “The Machine” is a story Kreischer tells about his time studying abroad in Russia, where he befriended a group of mobsters and unwittingly became involved in a heist.

The tale is equal parts ridiculous and hilarious, and it’s become somewhat of a calling card for Kreischer fans. If you’re lucky enough to catch him live, don’t be surprised if you hear shouts of “Machine!” from the audience – it’s a testament to just how beloved this routine has become.

But while “The Machine” may be the most well-known of Kreischer’s routines, it’s far from the only one worth seeing. His material touches on everything from family life to pop culture, and he has a knack for finding humor in even the most mundane of topics. And of course, there’s always a healthy dose of self-deprecation thrown in for good measure – after all, Kreischer is a comedian who isn’t afraid to make himself the butt of the joke.

It’s this combination of relatable stories, clever observations, and sheer silliness that makes Bert Kreischer such a joy to watch live. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or seeing him for the first time, his shows are guaranteed to leave you with sore cheeks from laughing so hard.

So if you’re looking for a night of comedy that will have you in stitches, don’t miss your chance to see Bert Kreischer live. This dynamic entertainer is one of the funniest and most engaging performers on the touring scene today, and he’s sure to leave you feeling both entertained and uplifted. Kiefer Sutherland has denied the rumor started on social media that he picked on Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, and Jerry O’Connell on the set of Stand By Me.

The Talk cohost Natalie Morales asked Sutherland about the gossip, which allegedly was used to keep in character while off-camera.

“Actually, it’s very funny, that at the age of 17, which I was in Stand By Me , I had probably a more in-depth process than I even do now. But we didn’t get to work together. I think one of things that’s been frustrating for me when I think about Stand By Me , is they always ask me what everybody else was like…we really only had the one big scene at the end, where Wil Wheaton pulls the gun and I had to run away like a girl.”

Jerry O’Connell chimed in. “You were 17 when you did Stand By Me ? I felt like you were like 40…I just thought you were the most grown-up person…Now, I will say that Kiefer did not bully us, there was no bullying. But Kiefer, I was so scared of you.”

Sutherlands adds, “We ran into each other about 10 years after Stand By Me , and someone said ‘Oh, you should go say hi, that’s Jerry O’Connell.’ And I said, ‘No it’s not.’ We said hello and I gave you a big hug and then I walked away and looked at my friend and went, ‘Wow, he’s got a lot better trainer than I do.'”

Andy Cohen Confirms BravoCon Is Taking a Year Off Before Returning to Las Vegas in 2025

The news comes after more than 160 Bravolebrities took part in the fan event in November

Andy Cohen at BravoCon

Bravoholics will have to wait a little longer than they anticipated before the next fan convention .

Andy Cohen just confirmed that BravoCon won’t be returning until 2025. The news comes five months after BravoCon 2023 took place in Las Vegas in November.

“Receipts. Proof. Timeline. Jackpot! BravoCon is returning to Las Vegas in 2025,” Cohen said in a video announcement on Wednesday. “We’ll see you there. Unless, of course, you’re Brynn [Whitfield]’s shoe … that remains stuck in an escalator.”

“Real Housewives of New York City” references aside, the “Watch What Happens Live” host further revealed dates for the weekend of Nov. 14, 15 and 16. The event will once again take place at Caesars Forum.

However, all is not lost for those looking to celebrate their favorite reality TV stars in 2024. The network also announced Watch Party by Bravo , a series of upcoming New York and Los Angeles-based events “where fans can experience advance screenings and exclusive sneak peeks” of their hit shows.

BravoCon Featured Image

“Trust us, it’s going to be worth the wait,” Cohen concluded his message.

BravoCon 2023 saw more than 160 Bravolebrities take part in the festivities, which included panels, parties, meet and greets and activations.

While not guaranteed to take part in next year’s convention, Bravo’s current slate of programming consists of “Vanderpump Rules,” “The Valley,” “Top Chef,” “Married to Medicine,” “Summer House,” “Below Deck,” “Southern Charm” and many iterations of “The Real Housewives,” to name a few.
