A famous tourist place in Kashmir is the serene city of Srinagar. Home to the beautiful Mughal gardens; you can spend the morning admiring acres of exotic flowers.

Enjoy a local Kashmiri lunch and head out for a Shikara ride at Nehru Park. In the evening, We book a stay in a boathouse on Dal Lake for a truly mesmerizing experience.

One night is not enough to take in the beauty of Dal Lake, especially if you are staying in a boathouse on the lake. Known as Srinagar’s jewel, Dal Lake offers more than just splendid houseboats.

A source of commercial operations, there is a unique floating flower and vegetable market that can be explored early in the morning. Have lunch at the in-house restaurant and check out the local spice and woolen market in Srinagar.

Later, make it a point to watch the beautiful sunset over the lake before you call it a night.

A skier’s paradise, Gulmarg is a must-visit spot in every tourist’s Kashmir itinerary. From vibrant flowers to snow-capped mountains, Gulmarg is a paradise for adventure buffs.

Is sightseeing cost included in the package cost.

No, due to the local government’s transport rules the sightseeing cost is not included in the package cost. Pony rides, Gondola rides, water sports, and other activities are also charged extra. On request, the agent can provide an idea of this cost as well.

What are the things to keep in mind regarding the stay on the houseboat?

You can expect frequent power cuts on the houseboats. Also, the housekeeping is not available at all hours. Since the food as to be brought from outside, timings of all meals are also fixed to prevent the food from getting cold.

Does the package cover the entire pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi?

No, the package only covers the transfer to Banganga. The journey from Bangana to the Vaishno Devi Cave is not included in the package. You can either travel on foot or hire a pony at your own cost to the top. Similarly, pick-up to the hotel is from Banganga.

Is there an option to spend a day at Patnitop?

You can opt for such a customization with the customized package offered by TravelTriangle. However, it is suggested to not spend an entire day in Patnitop. Patnitop can be covered enroute Pahalgam after leaving from Katra on the first day itself.

Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), on see the beautiful countryside the way and lot of rice fields. Arrive Pahalgam and depart for excursion trip to Chandanwadi (on your own), Starting point of Amarnath Yatra & Betab valley (on your own), Located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley was named Betaab after the Bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, it was renamed as major part of the movie was shot here. Post lunch (on your own) or as time permits, proceed for trip to Aru Valley (on your own) – Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the Lidder River; all these activities will be conducted at your own expenses.

Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world and also called meadows of flower. It has world highest golf course (World Highest) and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports skiing etc. But the most popular thing to include in the tour package in Kashmir is the Gondola Cable Car Ride to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour.

Srinagar – Excursion to Sonmarg (90 Kms / Approx 03 Hours Drive- One Way)
