This tour involves off-road driving, dune bashing and sandboarding and therefore is not suitable for pregnant people, visitors aged over 65 years and children aged under six years. If you belong to one of these categories and still wish to take part in the tour, you can book your ticket at the same price and inform the driver on the day of the tour that you will not be able to participate in the activities just mentioned.

Children aged six years and under will be provided with a car seat at no extra cost, but cannot participate in the dune bashing.

Please note that henna application may cause skin irritation and rashes. Please research side effects before receiving a henna application.

Are you in Dubai and want to experience a unique activity? On this  Desert Safari of the Al Marmoom Oasis , we'll enjoy a fun ride aboard a  Vintage G Class Mercedes 1980s vehicle .

At the time indicated, we'll start this exciting activity by picking you up from your hotel in Dubai. Are you ready to discover the largest  natural reserve in the UAE ?

Firstly, we'll cross the arid lands of the  Al Marmoom desert . Along this route, which will last between 30-40 minutes, we'll admire spectacular landscapes as far as the eye can see from a Vintage-style 4x4 .

Then, we'll visit a  Beduina town in the area. After learning about this desert village's traditions and customs, we'll take you to watch the sunset as we enjoy an exciting camel ride around the dunes .

After this experience, we're sure you'll be working up an appetite. Therefore, we'll either delight with a delicious breakfast or a yummy  BBQ dinner . While you eat, we'll also watch an  evening show  all about  UAE traditional folklore .

At the end of the show, we'll take you back to your hotel in Dubai. We expect to arrive 6-7 hours later.

This activity includes pickup from all accommodation in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and cruise terminals, except Jabel Ali Hotels and those located in Dubai Sports City, Dubai Investment Park, Al Maktoum and Expo areas.

Please be aware that, if you choose the starting time of 7 am or 8 am ,  breakfast will be included . If you choose the 2 pm start , you'll have dinner included .

Restrictions during Ramadan

During the holy month of Ramadan, you'll be able to watch the shows in the desert camps, but there will be some restrictions on the dancing of the dancers and no alcoholic beverages will be served.

Viator processed our payment 8 March 2024, cruise was 10 March 2024. This was a birthday dinner for my friend, the beginning of the night is just a mess. I would suggest booking direct with the attraction. I booked through Trip Advisor/Viator but it went through a local agent that was different to the one shown in the booking. I had no communication from them, no tickets emailed, nothing. Phoning them would not have helped - as mentioned above it was not the agent stated in the booking confirmation. Burj Khalifa were able to print some tickets based on my name. The supposed “ticket”, which was all I was able to download to my wallet on my phone, was useless. Then, after we had finished at Burj Khalifa, I get a WhatsApp messsge followed by a call from the agent. They sent me some electronic tickets and said I was about to miss my window at BK. Why hadn’t they sent those tickets before? They claimed they had tried to contact me several times but the number didn’t work - strange as they had now successfully contacted me. They couldn’t seem to understand that I had managed to get some tickets printed and had already visited the attraction. I asked them to send the Aquarium tickets which they did. Terrible service and I wouldn’t recommend booking this way. BK itself was fine but no different from going up the Shard in London or even the Eiffel Tower. Just a bit higher. • Esha S 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Awful and Disappointing The Abu Dhabi city tour started off horribly when we were picked up in a vehicle (coach) which was not Road worthy and the ac did not work properly in 40 degrees heat. We travelled in this coach for about 2hrs and it was extremely uncomfortable. Our first stop was the sheikh zayed grand mosque around 12, and we stood out in the heat and then walked over to the entrance of the mosque through the mall. When we arrived the tour guide told us the the opening slot time was 3 which indicated he had no clue what he was doing and was extremely unorganised. The second stop was outside some buildings, and then after took us to a Pakistani/Indian restaurant which was overpriced. At this point when we went back the coach had fully broken down and the ac stopped working. We all waited around in 40 degrees heat for 1hr with the other tourists who also had younger kids until transport was organised. We then had to walk to some gallery which was not on the itenary. Another issue was that it stated on the package that we will have ‘entry to the Qasr al Watan palace, garden and public spaces within the area’. I specifically called trip advisor and they stated the tickets will be provided but the tickets were not provided showing false advertisement on the website tour page. We had to pay an extra 320 aed for our family to have access to the Qasr al Watan palace which was utterly inconvenient. We then went back to the sheikh zayed grand mosque around 8 at night but wanted to go earlier and pray. I want to request for a full refund back as this was by far not the standard we were looking for and honestly a waste of a day for a holiday. Firstly, the dune bashing lasted only 20 mins (of which 5 mins was a stop to take photos). Secondly, completely excluded sand boarding although this was included in the price (when questioned, we were given a lame excuse). Then the so called camel ride lasted a maximum of 1 minute! If you want a longer ride, be prepared to pay extra! Thirdly; Shisha was meant to be included but this turned out to be yet again a paid extra! The food was not nice and chicken undercooked.
