Palm Jumeirah Island is one of the three islands forming the remarkable artificial Palm archipelago in the UAE. The “Palm Islands” expand the coastline of Dubai by 520 kilometers. And although Jebel Ali and Deira are larger in size, Palm Jumeirah stands as the most illustrious of the three within the UAE. The name itself, “the crown of palm tree,” was chosen deliberately to reflect the island’s distinctive architectural design.

Situated just off the coast of Dubai, this artificial date palm tree island has a fascinating structure. The palm tree consists of a “trunk”, serving as the primary trade and transport artery of the island, a “crown” adorned with 17 “leaves,” each featuring exclusive villas, and an 11-kilometer crescent-shaped breakwater. Discover Dubai in a very special way during this 75, 90 or 180 minute private boat tour at the Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. The boat can already be reserved from 195 dollar so you only pay 48,75 dollar per person with four people! During this private excursion you get a completely different perspective on the many sights of the city, such as the Burj al Arab, the special Palm Jumeirah island with Atlantis The Palm and the skyline of the Dubai Marina.

The cruise has a luxurious speedboat which is driven by an experienced captain. On board you are fully equipped, so the boat has a luxurious audio system with six speakers on which you can connect your phone to listen to your own music. There is also a full-size bathroom on board with toilet. There are in front and in the back ladders and a swim platform so you can also take a dive in the Arabian Gulf. Towels are present on board so you do not have to bring your own towels. And of course there is a life jacket for everyone.

You can choose from two excursions. The first one is a private 75-minute round trip . First you will sail through the Dubai Marina to the open sea and then head for the Palm Jumeirah island. You will sail over the Arabian Gulf with the striking Atlantis the Palm hotel. During the cruise you sail along the entire palm island and you see the various luxury hotels on the island close up. Then go back to the Lagoon and the Dubai Marina, but not before the captain of the boat stops a few times for the necessary photos and selfies.

The cruise of 90 minutes includes what is described above, but after the cruise along the Palm Jumeirah island you do not sail back directly to the Dubai Marina but you sail to the famous Burj al Arab hotel so you can admire it from the sea. You also get a good view of the impressive skyline of Dubai with the Burj Khalifa .

The meeting point is located in the Dubai Marina, behind the Marina Mall at Pier 7, the striking round tower next to the Marina Mall. At the berth of the boats you see large flags with the company name.

The private cruise with a luxury boat can be booked by boat, so you do not pay an amount per person but per boat a fixed amount. For larger groups of 4 or more people, the private cruise is therefore a very low-priced alternative to the tours of The Yellow Boats which sail the same route. The Dubai Creek is more exciting during the day than at night. The food was average at best. The entertainment had a great singer and one outstanding performance out of three performers. If you want the free transportation, get it in writing and hope they show up. I sent two emails looking for the pickup time, stating our date and hotel. I also got confirmation of a half hour window for pickup but no-one showed up.

Ship was good looking, food was terrible and not even enough for the passengers. Service was terrible as well to the point that the person seating us was arguing with me because I told him my name and he told me I was wrong? So what are you supposed to say to that. He was very condescending, impolite and rushed. So I wouldn’t recommend this tour at all. I would recommend to just come down to the marina no reservation and take your pick they are dozens of nice boats that would be thrilled to tend to you. The only good thing to say about the experience was the show.
