The North American tour was announced on February 9, 2018 through social media. [1]  On July 30, 2018 Hayley announced that she was finally coming to Europe for the first time ever. [2]

Kiyoko started touring on April 11, 2018 in San Diego, California and the first leg ended on August 18, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. [3] The North American tour also included performances at the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on April 15 and April 22, 2018 respectively. Guest stars included A R I Z O N A .

The second leg is set to start on October 23, 2018 in London, United Kingdom and is set to end on November 7, 2018 in Reykjavic, Iceland. [4]  The general sale started on August 3, 2018 [5] and tickets sold out so quickly that Hayley expanded to larger venues and added tour dates. The sale started again on August 10, 2018. [6] [7] The European Tour also includes shows in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Germany. Guest stars for the European leg included  Robinson .

Kiyoko missed the 2018 EMAs in order to perform in Hamburg, Germany on November 4, 2018.

Hayley Kiyoko Plots First-Ever Tour Across The UK, Europe 

For the first time, rising pop singer/songwriter Hayley Kiyoko will make stops throughout Europe and the UK while on tour this October.

Currently, Kiyoko is supporting alternative-rock band Panic! At The Disco on tour across North America with A R I Z O N A and Max Frost. Her remaining dates include shows in cities like Dallas, Denver, Seattle, Portland, and Las Vegas, wrapping up on August 18.

She is slated to perform at Stony Pony Summer Stage in Ashbury Park, New Jersey at the end of August, and will take a break before the headlining trek begins. Late October, Kiyoko will cross the UK and make stops in France, Netherlands, and Belgium before ending in Germany on November 4 and 5.

VICE describes Kiyoko as “exactly what we need from a pop star in 2018.” Known as the ‘Lesbian Jesus,’ she is at the forefront of the queer-pop genre, taking #20GAYTEEN over with hits like “Girls Like Girls,” “Sleepover,” and “Curious.” Earlier this year, she released her debut record, Expectations , which featured the track “What I Need” with Kehlani.

According to NME , Kiyoko spoke out about her experience of coming out with the help of a fan.

“I came out to her and said, ‘I just want to sing about being cocky and stealing someone’s girl, because that’s my dream,’” Kiyoko said. “She told me to write about it.”

“I was shocked at how people weren’t judging me,” she said. “I was ready to be judged, and I was ready to be labelled. That was a moment for me where I was like, I can be myself and people are okay with that.”

Her indie, dream-pop tunes have racked up millions of streams and garnered enough attention to nominate the singer for Best New Artist and Best Push Artist at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, taking place later this month.

Beautiful singer and dancer Hayley Kiyoko faced a heavy backlash after screenshots regarding her racial jokes trended across various social media platforms.

With more than 550 thousand followers on the platform, Lovely Girls Like Girls singer Hayley Kiyoko is receiving hate for using the N-word and other racial comments. She faced heavy criticism. 

But the rising star has yet to confirm the acknowledge and address her surfaced tweets. 

Recently, her old screenshots began to resurface and became viral, and she faced yet another outrage from the community.

Hayley Kiyoko Controversy Explained: What Did She Say?

Back in May 2018, singer Kiyoko built controversy, saying Rita Ora’s song “Girls had a dangerous message.”

Her comment arrived shortly after Ora dropped her single and collaborated with Cardi B, Bebe Rhexa, and Charli XCS. 

The newcomer singer mocked Ora and said her song took inspiration from Katy Perry’s song I Kissed A Girl in 2008. 

Kiyoko described the viral trend of impersonating the LGBTQ community negatively as dangerous.

According to Teen Vogue, she called the message was harmful cliché, and they don’t know any better. The famous young star said about Girls drinking wine and how that’s a harmful cliché of the trend: 

I have loved girls my entire life and I don’t need to drink wine to kiss a woman. This type of sending wrong message is dangerous as it completely belittles the very pure feelings of an entire community.

The misinterpreted values invalidates the whole community and I feel like I have a responsibility to protect the purity whenever possible. We should do it better.

Despite the deep controversy, Rita responded to Kiyoko’s comments saying people should not be that narrow-minded. But, she later replied in a meaningful manner, saying: 

Actually It was not that deep. The song doesn’t try to convey a message or anything. It’s really is just about that.

It was just about fun, a fun record.

Kiyoko recently released album, Panorama, has released many songs, including Deep In The Woods, Chance, Underground, For The Girls, and more. 

It looks like she is all booked for this year as well.

Hayley Kiyoko fans across the pond have plenty to celebrate, as all the stops in her first-ever European tour will now be hosted at larger venues to accommodate unprecedented audience demand.

A week after sharing dates for her Expectations European Tour — her inaugural tour outside the United States, with stops in London, Paris, Munich, Copenhagen and Antwerp — the “Curious” singer addressed a note to fans late Wednesday night that she would expand her tour to larger venues. Kiyoko also added another date in London, moving up her tour’s kick-off a day.

“I am beyond humbled by the love you’ve shown me for my Expectations European Tour,” Kiyoko gushes in the letter. “I’m happy to announce we’ve upgraded all venues to larger capacity, so I can see as many of you as I can.”

The upgrade comes as welcome news to Kiyoko’s European fans. A minor uproar brewed among a subset of Lesbian Jesus devotees after the tour was originally announced, who lamented that ticket sales were bogged down by the usual culprits for hotly-buzzed tours. “I’m just disappointed the tour finally came and loads of us can’t go because of small venues and ticket resellers,” tweeted one Kiyoko stan.

The Expectations European Tour will commence in earnest at London’s O2 Academy Islington on October 23, 2018, and conclude November 7, 2018 at the Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavik.

Kiyoko is currently on the road with Panic at the Disco as part of their Pray for the Wicked tour, which will finish up on Aug. 18 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Expectations , Kiyoko’s debut album, vaulted to No. 12 in its first week on the Billboard 200 , marking Kiyoko’s first appearance on the chart.

After years of romance rumors, singer Hayley Kiyoko and Bachelor Nation's Becca Tilley confirmed their relationship in 2022.

The couple debuted their romance at the release party for Kiyoko's single "For The Girls." During the event, Kiyoko pulled the reality star on stage, where they shared a hug and kiss.

The singer later revealed on Instagram that she and Tilley had been dating for four years and first met in 2018.

"This photo is from the first night we met at my Expectations album release party, we took this picture after 5 minutes," Kiyoko captioned a photo of the couple smiling with Tilley's arm around her waist. "Her shirt said 'no time for romance'…..it's been 4 years. I guess she had some time."

Though Tilley told PEOPLE she was off the market in 2018, she was hesitant to share details about her life with Kiyoko given her past public romances — particularly her year-long relationship with Bachelor Nation's Robert Graham .

"It feels really good," Kiyoko told PEOPLE shortly after going public with Tilley. "I mean, we lived a very normal life. It just wasn't on social media. We lived very open. And we've been together for four years, but now it's on social media. And now we get to share with the world. It's just been really nice — we've had so much love and support."

According to an Instagram post shared by Kiyoko in May 2022, the singer first met Tilley in 2018 at the release party for her debut album Expectations . The snap shows the pair smiling at the camera with Tilley's arm around Kiyoko's waist.

August 2018: Becca Tilley says she's dating again

In an interview with PEOPLE, Tilly revealed that while she's back in the dating game , she's keeping her private life on the down low.

"My last relationship was pretty public and out there and I've kind of got to the point where I'm like, 'Am I able to keep anything to myself?' " she said. "So in this process of dating and going through that again I've been trying to keep it more low-key … it's been tricky, it's a tough world out there the dating world."

On May 19, 2022, Kiyoko hosted a release party for her new single, "For The Girls," at Mickey's in West Hollywood. While addressing the crowd, Kiyoko requested that Tilley, who makes a cameo in the song's Bachelor -themed music video , join her onstage.

"Where's Becca?" said Kiyoko as she looked for Tilley. Once the reality star made her way onstage, Kiyoko handed her a "final rose" before they shared a hug and kiss.

Just a few days after confirming her relationship with Kiyoko, Tilley became emotional when talking about the experience on her podcast .

"I was prepared for anything and everything," she said. "I was not prepared for the amount of love and support that we got. Like, I just could have never predicted."

Tilley also said that Kiyoko helped her "feel brave" in the decision to go public. "She was always like people are gonna love you, people love you, and they want to see you happy," she said.

September 2022: Hayley Kiyoko cries recalling Becca Tilley's coming out process

While appearing on her girlfriend's Scrubbing In podcast, Kiyoko got emotional while discussing the time period when the pair were keeping their relationship private.

"When we started dating, I was ready to have a public relationship," the singer shared. "When we were navigating her experience and where she was at in her journey, that obviously shifted. But it was worth it to me because I wanted to be in a relationship with her, and I never felt like she was hiding me."

Kiyoko started crying while talking about how Tilley has "been through a lot" that she hasn't shared with fans. "She deserves lots of love, and everyone in my community, in our community, deserves to be loved and accepted for who they are," she said of Tilley.

Tilley and Kiyoko attended a post-Grammys party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. While there, they hung out with celebrities including Taylor Swift , Kelsea Ballerini and Fletcher.
