[SOLVED]   HDMI on the usb-c hub does not work ?

Hello, I have bought this USB-C hub (it has 4k60hz HDMI and some USB ports): https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08SM393WB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 When I connect it to the USB-c port on my new laptop, Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC05 with win10, it does recognize the device, but the monitor connected to the HDMI port on the hub does not work. However, the USB ports work. When I unplug and plug in the HDMI cable that goes to the screen, there seems to be something going on the monitor, but in the end it says no signal. In the display settings the laptop cannot see any external monitor, even though it is connected via the hub. I tried with another laptop, Lenovo Carbon X1 5th gen, and everything works well - it immediately shows the picture on the external monitor. Then, what is wrong with the first laptop? Just a thought: the first laptop (where the hub does not work) has a charging port and a seperate usb-c port. The second laptop (where the hub works) has two usb-c ports, and it also can charge via either of these two ports. Maybe that can make some difference? Thank you in advance!

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14 review (2021 Flex 5 14ALC05 model, Ryzen 7 5700U)

I had no idea that there may be several types of USB-c. Ok, then I simply have a laptop that does not support USBc video. Thanks a lot!
