Karnataka Wildlife Tour With Kabini From Bangalore All inclusive

Karnataka Wildlife Tour with Kabini from Bangalore and it was an incredible experience. The tour was well-organized and all-inclusive, making it the perfect choice for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable wildlife adventure. The tour started from Bangalore, where we were picked up by a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle. Our first stop was the Nagarhole National Park, which is one of the best places in Karnataka to spot wildlife. The park was simply breathtaking, with lush green forests and a diverse range of animals, including tigers, elephants, and various species of birds. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the animals and their habitats. Next, we headed to the Kabini River for a serene boat safari. This was definitely the highlight of the tour for me. The boat ride was peaceful and we were able to spot a variety of wildlife, including crocodiles, otters, and many different species of birds. The surroundings were picturesque and it was a great way to relax and take in the beauty of nature. Customized Culture and Beach Holiday in India with Daily Departure

We had a very interesting tour with an excellent driver (Mr Anthony) who made us comfortable and very knowledgeable guides everywhere we visited. Our favourite Hotel was in Mysore although all were good and the visit to Halebidu was probably my highlight as the temples were magnificent with such elaborate carvings. Goa was not as relaxing as I imagined. We enjoyed the beach but didn't want to lay in the sun too long so other than shopping we didn't find it as attractive as we had expected. Overall all it was a very good introduction to a country we had not visited before. The arrangements for meeting the drivers and guides worked well for us despite us arriving and departing before/after the 11 day tour so thanks to Linda and other support staff this worked well.

The Southern Feast - Karnataka & Goa

The tour is highly recommended historically and culturally, especially places like Hampi and Badami. Goa is overly touristy for a person with a professional background in tourism, yet old Goa is a very nice place to visit. Our hotel was near Baga beach and it was a nice place to relax and have some ayurvedic spa time! MTA organized the tour very well. We had a comfortable car, an excellent and professional driver Parveen throughout the tour. Most of the tour guides were very good. Most of the hotels and food were good I recommend you to discuss and choose the hotels carefully in advance. Ask for all options so you can choose accordingly. The MTA representative Manish is very helpful and will find you the best option that suits your preferences and budget. We definitely had a very good and enjoyable time in Kernataka and Goa! And after our experience we can highly recommend MTA.

We were lucky enough to spot a family of elephants crossing the road right in front of our jeep. The park also had a beautiful river running through it, making the scenery even more picturesque. After our wildlife adventure, we traveled to the charming hill station of Coonoor. The drive through the Nilgiri mountains was breathtaking and Coonoor itself was a quaint little town with lush green valleys and tea plantations. We took a safari through the nearby Mudumalai National Park and spotted many exotic birds and animals like peacocks, deer, and even a leopard. The highlight of the tour for me was the visit to Mysore, also known as the City of Palaces. The Mysore Palace was a sight to behold with its intricate architecture and rich history. No word for describe our journey in india.we went on a 4-day wildlife tour of Mysore Bandipur from Bangalore and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the tour was well-organized and exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide, Mr.Hemender Singh was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and the region, making the tour even more enjoyable. He made sure to keep us informed and entertained throughout the journey. The itinerary was well-planned, with a perfect balance of safari rides, nature walks, and cultural experiences. We started our first day with a visit to the Mysore Palace, which was a stunning architectural masterpiece. Then we headed to the Bandipur National Park for our first safari ride. It was an incredible experience to see the animals in their natural habitat, including tigers, elephants, and various species of birds. The second day was spent exploring the beautiful city of Mysore, visiting the Chamundi Hills, St. Philomena's Church, and the famous Devaraja Market. We also got to witness the traditional Mysore silk weaving process, which was a unique and interesting experience. On the third day, we went on a nature walk at the Bandipur National Park, where we got to see different types of flora and fauna, including some rare species. The highlight of the day was the evening safari ride, where we spotted a herd of elephants bathing in a nearby river. The last day of the tour was spent at the historic Srirangapatna Fort, followed by a visit to the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Our guide Mr. Kumar made sure to point out different species of birds and their unique characteristics, making it an educational and fun experience. The accommodations provided were comfortable and clean, and the food provided was delicious and authentic. I also appreciated the fact that the tour was all-inclusive, so we didn't have to worry about any additional expenses. Overall, I highly recommend this 4-day wildlife tour of Mysore Bandipur from Bangalore. It was a well-planned and well-executed tour, providing a perfect blend of wildlife, culture, and adventure. I came back from this tour with a newfound appreciation for nature and wildlife and some amazing memories. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
I booked this trip online through Travelcon for 10 Days South India Temple Tour from Australia. My Australian travel agent was a different one but he gave me +91 9758823555, Hemender Singh who was contact for any travel related issues during the trip in India. It was an amazing 10 Days tour and all the person I met during the trip were awesome. Even they were guides,Driver, people at different hotels. Hemender was awesome, quiet helpful and he always checked with us to ensure that everything was doing good.I felt that cities in India are much safer to travel. We really enjoyed interacting with the people unless you can understand their English well because of different accent. I would highlyrecommend "Travelcon" for other visitors also.

  • We don't do short trips as we don't want travelers to spend a lot of time in driving from one place to another. Instead we provide comfortable itineraries with ample time for relaxation and leisure activities like exploring markets, cafes etc.
  • We don’t do backpacking and trekking trips and moreover focus on culture, heritage and natural beauty. However, we do include adventure activities (wherever available) i.e adventure sports, day treks, jungle walks, boating etc on our trips.
  • We use standard hotels/homestays/camps for accommodation. However, we emphasize on neat & clean rooms with great locations. Generally, the rooms are provided on twin sharing basis. But at some remote or unexplored places where accommodation options are scarce, triple sharing rooms are provided.
  • In twin sharing, double bedded rooms are provided with separate bedding (blankets) primarily. Traveler who want a single room for himself/herself can get single rooms as per the mentioned price. Please note that solo travelers above 44 Yrs, will be provided a single room and will be charged accordingly.
  • We use only our set of hotels which are handpicked by our travel experts on the parameters of service, comfort and location. This allows us to maintain our standards.
  • We don’t share contact of travellers or create groups on social networks or chat apps before the starting of the tour. Travellers can share their contacts with others while traveling together.
  • There wont be any tour leaders accompanying the travelers as we want them to explore the sites on their own. Our experienced drivers are well versed with programs and assist travelers in day to day sightseeing. Also most of trips are leisure tours and hence not require any guidance. Only for treks, we provide trek leaders.
  • Foreign travelers will have to pay 4-5 % extra on the given prices, to cover the international bank transfer charges.

What GAFFL Users Are Saying

Marie

"It’s really nice to have a platform like GAFFL with lots of travelers wanting to do the same as you, a real beautiful cultural exchange. You can meet people so easily and in a trustful way. We were four girls, from French, German and American backgrounds, without knowing each other from before. We spent an amazing week together, 2000km driving, camping on the way. We saw kangaroos, koalas, penguins and pelicans"

Saed

“I have found GAFFL to be an amazing tool for finding similar minded travel partners to embark on an adventure. Through GAFFL, I had organized a trip to Mexico City last month and Quazi joined the trip from Victoria, BC. We spent 14 days of straight exploring, hiking, eating and drinking. Quite an amazing experience - all thanks to GAFFL!”

Scarlett

"I accidentally scrolled across GAFFL and I'm so pleased I did. I met Amaia and immediately decided to road-trip together. We're spending 10 days together and it's great because we have so much in common. Couldn't have done it without GAFFL helping us find one another! It has honestly made NZ so much cheaper to explore as I get to split the costs with someone too"

Women-only travel offers women, like you, an escape from the monotony and stress of work and daily chores at home. Travel, in itself, helps women unwind, relax and enjoy some ‘me time’ but making the journey in the company of other women travellers elevates it to something truly special. Top 10 places near Bangalore for solo travellers.

Top 10 places near Bangalore for solo travellers.

A person sitting alone in a cafe or at a corner chair by the bar often gives you the impression of a loner, an embodiment of sadness, and possibly an exemplar of weakness without knowing the story or reasons behind their preferred solitude. We are quick to judge the ones we see on a solo trip , creating some of their most memorable experiences and having the best times of their lives. Finding comfort in their own company and not getting affected by the surrounding environment to please others.

solo travellers group bangalore

What I have learned from my experience with loners is that there are two kinds of loners.

solo travellers group bangalore

People who completely isolate themselves from the eyes of the world and the noise of the crowd to find security with themselves, not because their lives suddenly turned upside down and taught them a lesson or because they are any less amiable to make new friends. But, because over a period of time, they realised that they don’t need affiliation from a larger group of people. The need for validation is only limited to a close circle of friends. They show up at their own time, choose their social circle mindfully, you might even see them on a Friday night gulping down beers all by themselves. They are the people who are more comfortable with being alone all the time and don’t engage in small talks.

solo travellers group bangalore

The other type of loners are people who are led to be alone under various circumstances as a result of their actions. They crave people’s attention but in a wrong way and end up being even lonelier than they thought they were. They miss people, interactions, time they spent with someone in their past, which, sometimes is not healthy as not letting go of your past makes you vulnerable, causing you to have innumerable self-doubts and the possibility of making friends in the future. Many times, we find ourselves in a situation where we stop embracing our reality and cause serious disturbance in other’s lives trying to expect them to live on our terms.

That is one of the primary reasons the world is seeing a rapid shift in the way people are travelling now, besides the fact that it is hassle-free. They don’t wait for others to confirm and tag along on their dates, stress over where to stay and what to eat. We as a generation have learned a lesson (some the hard way) to not be a burden on anyone. No matter how close we are to them or how kind they are to us.

You can be completely free to choose the restaurant you wish to eat from or people you wish to interact with and don’t feel bad about wasting your entire day in the bedroom doing nothing but gazing the mountain out the window or sitting in the chair all curled up in the blanket with a hot coffee, not knowing or thinking about what friends in the other room might feel. Also, it is so much less drama. When you are all by yourself, you don’t have to worry about entertaining others demands.

Take your solo trip experience a notch up with the curated list of the places around Bangalore you will enjoy going to.

1. Coorg – 268 kms from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

Coorg, the coffee beau of India is a frosty little town located in the western ghats of Southern Karnataka. A place away from the city noise, whose greenery is a thing of worship and still well-preserved despite a lot of changes around it. You will know you have arrived at coorg when the air is enamored with coffee. Come here for coffee and stay for the honey. It is one of largest producers of honey and coffee. The town is also known for its tibetan monastery and also houses one of the largest buddhist populations in the country.

2. Shimoga – 301 kms from Bangalore

If you are looking for a reason to escape from the city life for a good period of time, then here’s a good reason for you to take the road less traveled and go on a trip all by yourself to this place and rediscover yourself. The literal translation of the name Shimoga is “Face of the Lord Shiva”. It is located in the central art of Karnataka and home to plenty of scenic landscapes and exotic wildlife.

Places to visit in Shimoga:

Jog falls: 100 kms from Shimoga

solo travellers group bangalore

Waterfall cascading and swirling from high above loudly, beautifully and brutally like a lion’s roar leaving a sense of tranquility.

Kodachadri : 111 kms from Shimoga

solo travellers group bangalore

While promenading in the cloud, you will experience nature at its best. A hike to Savarjna Peetha is something of an experience of a lifetime.

Sakrebailu Elephant camp : 14 kms from Shimoga

solo travellers group bangalore

A place 14 kms away from Shimoga where elephants love to play in the water. If you are lucky, you can even scratch their back as they lie down.

Kundadri : 101 kms from Shimoga

solo travellers group bangalore

A paradise 3,200 feet from the ground with a temple for a crown. Don’t miss this place for anybody.

3. Shivanasamudram – 131 kms from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

You may have seen quite a lot of torrents of water in your life but there are only a few waterfalls that are so meteoric in pace that you can barely hear people over its deafening force. This is one such waterfall that enables a varied range of emotions in your mind with its magnificent roar. The water you behold is released from the Kabini dam splitting into two parts. This place makes for a perfect one day trip, dervishing on River Kaveri, 130 kms from Bangalore. Unfortunately, swimming or diving is not allowed due to its gigantic current and deep couloir.

4. Mysore – 143.5 kms from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

Alot is being said and written over centuries about this place already. There are proses of praises about how the place was renamed from Mysore to Mysuru and how the city is gleaming with historic landmarks and blessed with Royal monuments all around. There is enough information available on the internet about the architectural grandeur of the Mysore Palace and its extrinsic design. It’s one of the top attractions to see in Mysore and totally worth every effort and money you spend to get there and stand in the queue.

There are several other places to visit in the third largest populated city in Karnataka:

Venugopala Swamy Temple – 1.1 kms from Mysore

solo travellers group bangalore

A temple born out of the stones of Hoysala architecture and emerged out of water, stands near the KRS backwaters is a must visit place of worship in Mysore.

Devaraja Market – 3.5 kms from Mysore

solo travellers group bangalore

If colours affect your mood, then this will definitely uplift it. Keep your camera ready to capture some amazing the colourful Bazaar.

St Philomena’s church – 4.9 kms from Mysore

solo travellers group bangalore

Considered one of Asia’s tallest churches, it is one of the few gothic-styled architectural splendor in the country built by the Maharaja of Mysore in the late 18th century.

5. Shivagange – 53 kms away from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

All the brilliant minds that ever existed in this world thrived alone and wished they had more time with themselves when they had a chance. Shivagange offers exactly the same view of the sky from 2500 feet above the ground which also makes it a perfect perfect location for trekking. Trekking to the peak might be a bit tiresome due to its challenging terrains but all that effort will not go on vain. All of that will make sense once you reach the end and see a temple only to realise why even Gods prefer mountains instead of flat terrains. It was to seek centuries of wisdom and tranquility.

6. Horsley Hills – 143 kms from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

A haven for solo travellers is what Horsley Hills is. It’s a series of nine hills found in the Mandanapalle taluk of Chittoor district in Andhra pradesh. Named during the British Raj, after a British collector who built his house here, was also known as Yenugu Mallama Konda. Mallama, a legendary woman who lived here and was fed by elephants (Yenugula). The place is good for trekking and only takes a few minutes on foot. Once you reach the top, you are greeted by the only restaurant it has which is run by the tourism department. Hence, your options are limited when it comes to food and accommodation, making it a great choice for a weekend getaway.

7. Skandagiri – 61 kms from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

A summit approximately 1350 metres from the village called Kalwara, is a maverick of a trek during the winter (November – February) and the monsoons are equally pleasant because the rains influence plant life, making it greener and richer in tone. A slow-paced trek will take you to the summit in around 06 hours after periodic rests and breaks at the tea stalls and snacks corner along the way. The trek begins at the temple called Pagani and as you pass the dry trails, you begin to see the change in the contrast in the vegetation around. The peak is a walk among the clouds. However, with a fee of Rs. 450 the government ensures the maintenance of the place to give you a little free trekking experience. Since Skandagiri is in a close proximity to Nandi Hills, it is recommended to start the trek in the night so you can visit the Nandi Hills on the way back at dawn.

8. Hampi – 342 kms from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

No place better than the one that screams loud of the rich kingdom it once was better than Hampi. With every step you take, you sense the history of the place deep in your skin and how it was ruined by the Mughals in the 14th century. Also, the origin of the famous Hindi phrase ‘Hukka Bukka hogaya’ is from this land. It is named after two people, Hukka and Bukka. You can read the full story of the two commanders, Hukka and Bukka and the founders of Vijaynagar empire here :

UNESCO declared Hampi as a world heritage site in 1986 is a backpacker’s dream destination from Bangalore. Especially for people who are interested in ancient history. The debilitating structures built in 1500 AD under Vijaynagar dynasty and its architectural style has been the main ISP of the place for tourists worldwide. You can climb the boulders that are wealthy in numbers or take a walking tour of the city in the evening to capture the riveting view under the moonlight.

9. Coonoor – 285 kms from Bangalore

solo travellers group bangalore

A solo traveller or a backpacker is always in the need for validation from things that are less materialistic. They survive on bike rides and rise to each occasion that brings them closer to nature and themselves. They find nature more stimulating than people. Coonoor is a handwritten note by nature for people that see life in the form of colours and don’t mind looking at the sky once in a while.

Coonoor displays a curtain of blue skies with white patchwork spread over the majestic green radiance on earth, accentuating the composure your mind needs.

Places to see in Coonoor:

Sim’s Park: 1.1 kms from Coonoor

solo travellers group bangalore

A breathtaking grassland with some of the most unique, beautiful, rejuvenating and colourful plants in the world.

Ketti Valley: 12 kms from Coonoor
