Common Questions About Watersports on Lake Winnipesaukee with Wake Winni

Our pontoon rates are based on groups of up to ten people. Some of our boats can accommodate more (up to 14) and there is a flat fee of 200$ for groups larger than 10*. Boats get more difficult to maneuver and accelerate as they get heavier. All boats have a legal capacity for persons and/or weight that we must abide by.

Our Pontoon charters are private. We supply the boat and the captain. The only people on the boat are the people you bring (plus the captain)!

Think of this option as a pontoon rental without the headache of driving on Winnipesaukee. Just tell the captain where you want to go and how fast. If you want to stop and relax and go for a swim, just tell your driver! We know the lake well and can pick a route for you based on your interests. We keep anchors on board in case you want to visit one of the famous Winnipesaukee sandbars and stay for a while.

Dress according for the weather, please factor in the constant breeze of being on a moving boat. Please feel free to bring snacks or a small cooler with beverages. *note: cleaning fees will apply for stains and excessive crumbs! We provide the boat, driver and life jackets.

We only cancel in the event of thunder and lightning in the area. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, please check the weather forecast ahead of time to see if you need to reschedule.

New Hampshire state law requires anyone 12 years old and younger to wear a life jacket when being transported on a boat. Anyone 13 and older has the option to wear one while the boat is moving.

Yes, for a small fee. This covers the extra time needed for travel to get to your dock and back. This option is good for Wolfeboro and Alton addresses only. Anywhere else on Winni is possible, just call us for an estimate.

Sorry, but no pets allowed on the boat. If you need suggestions on pet sitting please reach out to Sarah’s Courteous Canines!

On some islands Sophie's visit is the social event of the day, and island residents often come to the dock to say hello, and purchase an ice cream treat, snack or souvenir.

Don't forget to send a postcard home! Passengers are invited to fill out and mail postcards right on board, complete Sophie's own unique, collectible cancellation stamp!

All cruises depart from Weirs Beach. *Please note that mail stops may vary based on whether there is mail to deliver, or residents on the island.
