Ideal duration of manali trip, places to visit in manali.

Hadimba Temple: Located amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, the Hadimba Temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was the wife of Bhima and mother of Ghatothkach. Surrounded by gorgeous cedar forests, this beautiful shrine is built on a rock which is believed to be in the image of goddess Hidimba herself. Manu temple: The Manu Temple is said to be the only temple dedicated to the King Manu, who was later known as Sage Manu in India. The temple is a pagoda structure that offers a glimpse into history and spirituality through its fascinating architecture. Some may find it difficult to reach Manu Temple because there is only a narrow road that leads to the shrine; however, the journey is certainly pleasant.  Van Vihar: Adorned with sky touching deodar trees, Van Vihar National Park is located near the Mall Road making it easily accessible. The favourite attraction of this park is a man-made lake that is open for boating. Manali Club House: The Club House in Manali is an amusement and adventure retreat set up on the banks of the Manalsu Nalla, a branch of the breathtaking Beas River. It has indoor and outdoor activities like Billiards, Carom, Video Games, Table Tennis, Roller skating rink, River crossing, Go-karting, Zip lining and Ropeway. It also has a restaurant and bar along with some small stalls for local shopping. Manikaran: Manikaran is  a famous pilgrimage destination for both Sikhs and Hindus. It is known for Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib and the hot springs. There are three hot springs where one can take a bath, one being inside the Gurudwara itself and the other two being privatised by the guesthouses. Different sections for men and women are made at the bathing place. The water in these springs contains sulphur which is believed to cure many diseases. Solang Valley: 14 kilometres to the north west of the main town of Manali, Solang Valley is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. It is famous for adventure activities like parachuting, paragliding, horse riding, driving mini-open jeeps, zorbing, etc. During winters, Solang valley is covered with snow, making skiing is a popular sport here. Rohtang Pass: Located at a distance of just 51 kilometres from Manali, Rohtang Pass can be reached only by road. The pass is located at a massive height of 3978 metres on Manali- Keylong road. Activities like sledging, mountain biking and skiing are popular here. Due to heavy snowfall in winters, the pass remains closed from November to May.  Atal Tunnel: Also referred to as the Rohtang Tunnel, Atal Tunnel is a horseshoe-shaped highway tunnel that connects Manali and the Lahaul-Spiti valley, reducing the time taken by around 4-5 hours. Named after the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the tunnel is the world’s longest one above 10,000 feet and is constructed in the Pir Panjal ranges, under the Rohtang Pass.  Jogini Waterfalls: Jogini Waterfall is located about 3 kilometres away from the bustling town of Manali and around 2 kilometres away from Vashisht Temple. What makes it a popular tourist spot is the trek from Vashisht Temple, through pine trees and orchards, to the mesmerising Jogini Waterfalls cascading from a height of 160 feet. It is considered as one of the most romantic attractions in Manali. Vashisht Baths: Located inside the very famous Vashisht Temple in Manali, Vashisht Baths is a hot water spring, believed to possess medicinal values. Also known as Vashisht Springs, it is visited by a lot of tourists, many of whom take a dip in the holy water to rid themselves of skin diseases and infections. Kullu: Kullu, a popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh is located on the banks of the Beas river. Kullu is generally coupled with its sister town Manali. It has few important temples like the Raghunath Temple and Jagannath Devi Temple. There are many treks that also originate from this area include the Bijli Mahadev Temple Trek, Parvati Valley Trek, etc. With panoramic views and majestic hills covered with Deodar and Pine trees, Kullu is a nature lover’s paradise. Rafting is a popular activity here that starts from Pirni, around 4 km away from Kullu.

Things to Do in Manali

Skiing: Manali is known for its excellent skiing conditions with skiing enthusiasts visiting from all over the country. The undulating slopes of Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass are perfect for skiing. They are popular for amateurs to learn their first move while ideal grounds for professional skiing in Manali.  Paragliding:  The hillside town of Manali is famous for paragliding. Starting with a basic training course, the operators are well organized, competent and trustworthy. Medium flights involve a 15-minute flight, while long/high flights last between 40 minutes and 1 hour. Individuals with a paragliding license can opt for solo flights while amateurs are allowed to take tandem flights – where a pilot accompanies the individual and navigates the glider. River Rafting: River Rafting in Kullu Manali is done along the River Beas and is considered ideal for expert rafters as well as beginners. The section of rafting starts from a small district called Pirdi and it flows through various locations like Bajaura, Sarabai, Bhuntar, Shamshi, Mohal, Raisol and Katrain. Rafting in Kullu Manali usually starts at 10:00 AM and takes about 1.5 hours. It is open throughout the year and people are advised to avoid the time when there is heavy rainfall which can lead to the rise in water level.  Visit Old Manali: Away from the hustle and bustle that the town of Manali holds, Old Manali is a backpacker’s paradise. Lying at a distance of 3 kilometers uphill from the central city, Old Manali is often frequented by tourists from all across the world. Here you can sit back and relax in the lap of nature, away from the hullabaloo of city life. Along with the myriad other things, this is one of the topmost things to do in Manali. Zorbing: Zorbing is a fun hill-sport in this region that takes advantage of the picturesque downward slopes of the Himalayas. The thrill of rolling down picturesque views at a speed that is not in your control is not just exhilarating but also alluring for zorbers. While zorbing has become a popular recreational activity, Zorbing in Solang Valley is a wholly new experience. Professional instructors ensure that you are well instructed and safe throughout the activity.

Experiences Cherished: Snowfall at Solang Valley, Stopover at Kasol, Bonfire, Walk on Mall Road

Come Back for:  Trip to Solang valley

I never planned for this New Year 's Eve to be any different from the previous ones. However, somehow Facebook led me to TravelTriangle’s page and from there it was just a few minutes before I posted a query and booked a Manali tour package . Two of my friends also accompanied me on this weekend trip to the hills. Connecting with new people and bonding over bonfire and tea turned out to be magical. Moreover, sitting by the banks of the Beas river and exploring the nearby route was equally satisfying and calming. One of the most beautiful experiences of our trip to Manali was walking by the mall road that offered fantastic views of the snow-capped mountain ranges. Manali market exhibits galleries full of local handicrafts, souvenirs, and junk jewelry, making it a perfect place to eye antiques and metal ornaments. Everything about this trip was great, but the snowfall at Solang valley (also the first time I witnessed snowfall) and a brief trip to Kasol made it memorable for the lifetime. I left for this tour being anxious and came back feeling super relaxed and happy. This year wouldn’t have ended any better for us. Thanks to TravelTriangle, we bid this year farewell with a blast.

Visiting these temples was such a holy experience. Spending the evening taking a walk at the mall road and strolling through the local market was super thrilling as well. Our drive to Solang Valley from Manali was a kaleidoscope of different colors. From a visit to Jana waterfall to the breathtakingly beautiful view atop Solang valley was everything we could have imagined in our honeymoon trip to Manali . Moreover, the sweet gesture of complimentary wine and cake from TravelTriangle just made our day. Experiences Cherished: Paragliding, Skiing, Shopping in Manali

Come Back for: Paragliding

Best things in life shouldn’t be delayed. Therefore, my husband decided to surprise me with a honeymoon trip to Manali that we delayed due to work. On arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary cake that made us feel super special. A visit to the Hadimba temple and mesmerizing walk on roads surrounded by cedar trees was such a beautiful start to our Manali tour . However, the highlight of our tour was definitely the moment I overcame my fear of heights through paragliding. Ahh! Even recalling it is giving me an adrenaline rush. Moreover, the time spent at ‘Snow Point’ made way for endless fun and memories. Another enthralling experience was shopping in Manali . Manali’s market is a hub of wooden handicrafts, pickles, kesar, woolen clothes, and metal jewelry. Anyone traveling to Manali should definitely eye these products. During these four days, we had the best time of our lives, all thanks to TravelTriangle for making it hassle free.

Manali Travel

Manali, a beautiful town located in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh is one of the best and most popular places to visit in the country if you are seeking a memorable, rejuvenating, and thrilling vacation. Situated in the Kullu district, amidst the banks of the Beas River, Manali is flooded with serene landscapes, misty snowfalls, picturesque views, breathtaking adventures, and much more. Manali is at an altitude of approx. 6500 feet above ground level and is around 570 km from Delhi. This place is an ideal destination for everyone be it family, college friends, or honeymoon couples. During summers, people from all over the country book their tickets and plan their trip to Manali, in order to avoid the scorching heatwaves and enjoy the Manali trance with the soothing beauty of mother nature.

Manali Weather & Best Time to Visit

If you are seeking to escape from boiling summers or are planning to see the white snows with some exciting adventure sports, here’s a seasonal breakup of the climatic conditions pertaining in Manali so that you can arrange your tour accordingly

Summers in Manali – summer knocks on the doors of Manali in the early march itself and the temperature from march to June ranges from 10 degrees to 25 degrees. Weather remains pleasant during these months and one can go along with just the base layer thermals during these days. This is the best time to visit Manali as the weather is not that chilling, which serves as the motivation to try hands on the outdoor activities such as paragliding, river rafting, trekking, camping, and much more. Also, one gets to see the blooming scenery of this place which is covered with flowers and greenery during the months of March-May.

Winters in Manali – winter onsets in Manali in the month of November and lasts till February. Temperature goes as low as -1 degrees and the place experiences snowfalls and white views throughout this season. It is an ideal destination for travel enthusiasts who aspire to go skiing in the winters.

Monsoons in Manali – Monsoon in Manali starts from July and lasts till mid-September. The place experiences a heavy rainfall which leads to landslides, floods, and tricky climatic conditions thus, it is not advisable for the visitors to come to Manali during monsoons.

How to Get There

In order to reach your lovely destination, you might be wondering how to reach there and by what means. Here’s a brief overview: – By Air – owing to the prevailing climatic conditions, flights are considered quite unfavorable to travel to Manali, however, if you still prefer traveling by air as compared to other means, then Bhuntar is the nearest airport which is around 50 km from Manali. Domestic flights run from Delhi and Chandigarh till Bhuntar and a cab/taxi can be booked from thereon till Manali.

By Bus and Train – Talking about the train route, Chandigarh is the nearest railway station and from thereon, one has to do a 9-hour journey via bus/cab. Manali is nearby to other tourist spots as well such as Kullu, Dharamshala, Leh, etc. so the Himachal Pradesh roadways and private buses are easily available. It is advisable to book Volvo and sleeper coach buses which provide good sleep and comfort during the journey and are affordable as well.

By self-drive – one can also reach Manali by driving their own vehicle. the extremely fascinating views and the turns and twists of the natural beauty at every other lap makes it more attractive for the travelers to go by their own vehicle in order to optimize their pleasure from the trip. However, if you are not very comfortable driving, especially in the hilly terrains, then it is advisable to hire a driver for the journey.

What to Wear in Manali

Manali possesses the real charm and is so beautiful, so our visitors would also like to look charming and beautiful with their wonderful attires but at the same time keep the extreme weather conditions in mind as well. If one intends to go to Manali during the summers when the temperature is moderate, then a stylish base layer will do the work, or a mid-layer jacket/hoodie styled with the inner casual wear will also be suitable. However, if you are traveling during winters and will also be participating in adventure sports then the following items can be considered for wearing: – Puffer jacket and parkas will be the most suitable fit as they will protect against the chilly winds. Kosha offers a great range of winter apparel where these jackets provide the right amount of warmth to the body, are waterproof and at the same time are lightweight which makes them easy and comfortable to wear and carry around. A hardshell waterproof jacket, a good pair of socks and gloves with the right material which doesn’t support itching, mufflers, sweaters, and pullovers are the other items that need to be considered while planning your Manali trip. To have a better idea of what to wear on your Manali trip, you can check the following article here Warm jackets and other accessories for men can be checked here Warm jackets and other accessories for women can be checked here

Where to Stay

Your stay during the Manali trip depends upon your budget and the load on your pockets. Here are some options to consider while deciding upon your accommodation.

For the middle class – in the old Manali area, there are few guesthouses and village homes which are not expensive and are covered with the beauty of the apple orchids and the snow coating all around. If you want to have an aesthetic presence around with a limited number of crowds in the picture, then staying in these places will be the best fit for you. On the new Manali side also, there are a few restaurants at cheap rates such as Vashisht, Rohtang Manalsu & Beas , etc which are the best fit for the backpackers and low budget trip travelers.

For the rich class – if you are trying to seek maximum pleasure and luxury from your trip, and money is not your concern, then there are a few resorts and fancy hotels such as Picadaily Resort, Johnson’s, Orchards house, Hotel Kunzum , and a few more to explore and stay.

While many dates earlier in the tour were available for under $100, these final dates will cost you at least $245 at the time of writing. Still, it's a few grand cheaper than the Swifties have been paying this year.

  • More events: Olivia Rodrigo tickets | Taylor Swift tickets | Adele tickets | Rolling Stones tickets

With the concert series being a retrospective celebration of her iconic career, The Celebration Tour's setlist unsurprisingly includes plenty of Madonna's timeless hits. Songs like "Like a Prayer," "Vogue," "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," and "Like a Virgin" have been performed across various dates on her tour.

We've got you covered if you're still looking for tickets to Madonna's Celebration Tour. Here's our breakdown of Madonna's remaining 2024 tour schedule, purchasing details, and original and resale ticket prices. You can also browse the available tickets for sale on StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

How to buy tickets for Madonna's 2024 concert tour

Madonna tickets have been on sale for a while now, so all original ones via Ticketmaster are long gone.

However, Madonna tickets are still available through verified resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats .

How much do Madonna tickets cost?

The price for standard original tickets to Madonna's 2024 tour varies depending on date, location, and demand. For example, concert dates in major cities like New York City tend to be more expensive.

Standard original tickets still available on Ticketmaster a few weeks ago  were comparable to prices on verified resale platforms. However, the remaining original tickets have all been snapped up though, so resale vendors are your only hope now.

The Celebration Tour originally had VIP tickets available for premium prices. Madonna's 2024 concert series had The Immaculate VIP Package, Iconic VIP Package), You Can Dance Premium Ticket Package, and Where's The Party Premium Ticket Package. The prices for original tickets for each package on Ticketmaster started at $1,750, $895, $545, and $475, respectively.

Who is opening for Madonna's tour?

Madonna has not announced any additional opening acts for her 2024 concert dates. However, the artist is joined by Bob the Drag Queen, a special guest in each of her shows, who helps introduce the concert and interacts with Madonna as the emcee.

Madonna's 2024 tour began with the international leg in Europe, so the only remaining concerts in The Celebration Tour outside the United States are in Mexico.

In April, she'll have five performances in Mexico City, where she'll take her final bow of The Celebration Tour on April 26.
