Live Nation Urban has promised that the Summer Block Party Tour —starring Jodeci , SWV , and Dru Hill —will be one of the biggest R&B tours of 2023.

The tour ‘s North American run begins on July 28 in Charlotte, N.C., and will hit other major cities (Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Houston, and Los Angeles) before concluding in early September.

Omarion Reportedly Cancels His Vbz On Vbz Tour

Jodeci first announced  their reunion  in December 2021 before joining New Edition’s  The Culture Tour  in 2022 as a supporting act with Charlie Wilson. Following SWV’s controversial tour attempt with Xscape , the trio is excited to co-headline this tour. Although Dru Hill’s Verzuz with Jodeci never came to be, fans can look forward to seeing how these R&B groups will interact on the road.

Pitbull Is Ready to ‘Party After Dark’ on North American Tour

Pitbull is gearing up for a Party After Dark Tour through North America, which will feature special guest T-Pain on all dates and Lil Jon joining them in select cities. The set is billed to include career-spanning hits along with some surprises.

The 26-city jaunt begins on Aug. 21 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia. It includes stops in Queens, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, and more cities. Additional openers include SiriusXM Globalization DJs. Lil Jon is currently booked to appear on two dates: Ridgefield, WA at RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater on Sept. 27 and North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California on Oct. 3.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Apr. 26 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation, with various VIP packages also available.

Florida natives Pitbull, T-Pain headed on joint tour, 26 shows. But none in Sunshine State

Mr. Worldwide is ready to "party after dark" across North America this summer. But not in his home state?

Pitbull announced his upcoming Party After Dark Tour set to span over 26 cities with special guests Lil Jon and fellow Floridian T-Pain joining select dates.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on Aug. 21, 2024, in Bristow, Virginia, making stops across the U.S. before wrapping in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Oct. 5. But despite two famous Floridians leading the tour, many fans noticed there were no dates in Florida.

"No FL?! On a Pitbull and T-Pain tour? This is blasphemy," wrote one Instagram user under the announcement. Other fans voiced their disbelief, one writing "make it make sense."

Where is Pitbull from? Obviously, Mr. 305 is from the 305

Armando Christian Pérez, better known by his stage name Pitbull, was born and raised in Miami. Known as Mr. 305 (or Mr. Worldwide, depends on who you ask), he has proclaimed his love for his hometown in multiple songs throughout his career .

Where is T-Pain from in Florida?

As for T-Pain, his hometown is on the opposite end of the state.

Faheem Rashad Najm, born in Tallahassee in 1985, grew up on Ridge Road. Even his stage name pays tribute to his city , with the “T” in T-Pain's name stands for Tallahassee.

While the tour isn't going to the Sunshine State, the tour will still get close. Kind of.

The nearest "Party After Dark" tour date to Florida is only a 12-hour drive to Virginia Beach, Virginia or you can head to St. Louis, Missouri, which is a roughly 12 and a half hour drive from the northern end of the state.

Will they announce more dates for Pitbull's Party After Dark Tour?

As of April 24, Pitbull has not alluded to more dates coming to his tour. So Florida won't be able to party after dark with the stars for right now.

Future’s ‘One Big Party Tour’ Will Also Bring The Fun To Other Notable Cities Across The US

Future is set to hit the road next year. As he teased last week, he planned to ring in 2023 by throwing “ One Big Party ” in Atlanta at the State Farm Arena. Yesterday (December 6), he announced that he would bring the tour to a handful of US cities.

He shared the news via his social accounts, and revealed that in addition to his ATL hometown, he would be bringing the One Big Party Tour to cities like Houston, Chicago, Boston, and more.

For One Big Party , the “ Wait For U ” hitmaker will be joined by “friends,” as noted in the tour announcement, who are expected to be named soon.

In a recent interview with Billboard , he opened up about his career, which has spanned over a decade, and how the rap game has impacted his life and wellbeing.

Latin rap star Pitbull is set to deliver a mix of his career-spanning hits on the upcoming Party After Dark Tour. The U.S. trek follows numerous successful solo tours for the "Give Me Everything" rapper, including the triple-headlining Trilogy Tour with Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin .

Produced by Live Nation, the 26-city tour kicks off on Aug. 21 in Bristow, Virginia, making stops across the U.S. before wrapping in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Oct. 5.  Fellow rappers T-Pain and Lil Jon will serve as a special guests on the tour.

The Grammy-winning Pitbull is known for a slew of hit singles , including "Fireball," "Timber" with Kesha , "Hotel Room Service," "Give Me Everything" with Afrojack and Ne-Yo and "Time of Our Lives" with Ne-Yo.

T-Pain, known for singles like "Bartender," "Buy U a Drank" and "Booty Wurk" is popular for his use of auto-tune pitch with electronic-style vocal performances. His most recent album, "On Top of The Covers," was released in 2023.

Lil Jon will join the pair on two tour dates, in Ridgefield, Washington and Chula Vista, California. The rapper and DJ is known for the tracks "Turn Down For What," "Shots," "Get Low" and "Yeah!" with Usher and Ludacris. He was most recently featured on the Pitbull track "Jumpin" in 2023.

Hot off the heels of a massive stadium tour with his band Poison, for the first time ever, Bret Michaels is hitting the road for a limited run of live dates for his 2023 Parti Gras Tour. Michaels has created this tour with a mardi gras feel in celebration of his great fans and hit music. The renowned rockstar will bring a few of his rocker friends along for a mashup of all killer, no-filler hits featuring special guests Night Ranger and Jefferson Starship with special appearances from Steve Augeri (former lead singer of Journey) and Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), plus a nightly surprise guest to rock your world.

Presented by Live Nation, the 12-city limited date run kicks off on Thursday, July 13th at the one and only Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI, known for its epic concerts and parties going on to make stops across the U.S. including at The Pavilion at Star Lake, in his birthplace of Pittsburgh (PA), Holmdel (NJ), Tinley Park (IL), Tampa (FL), and more before wrapping up in Charlotte (NC) at PNC Music Pavilion on August 6th. The tour promises to be a modern-day throwback to epic tailgate parties, positive energy, and a much needed nothing but a good vibe.

What makes a perfect gig? In my humble opinion there is a lot of factors to this answer. Firstly you need a good band with good songs, a good venue, a very good sound quality and a good audience. Bingo! The Bloc Party gig at the Alexandra Palace have all this elements. Everything was singing along and jumping. Also hugging. Yes I said “bugging”. It’s was like a religious experience. A night I will never forget.

I finicking loved the concert, from beginning to the very end. The openers, Middle Kids, were also pretty good, even though they didn't play a lot. About Bloc Party I am just speechless. They are just awesome. This concert is on my top 3, doubtlessly.

It's been a while and the line up has changed a little but they came out fighting.

For what was essentialy their home town concert they gave it all and bought in the mellower tracks to allow the sweat to dry and Matt to get the drinks in!

The big tunes kept coming though and as a band they are solid and dependable with awesome sound and awesome show.

Being at the Roundhouse also helped as the venue is awesome, but the sound can be lost if you're right at the front hanging over the barrier.

Will be looking to get tickets earlier next time!

Russell Crowe Announces His First U.S. Tour Dates in a Dozen Years

F or anyone who saw the news about Russell Crowe and his Indoor Garden Party playing the Acoustic Stage of this year's Glastonbury Festival and shook your fist at the sky about the injustice of Crowe not playing anywhere in the States, well, it's time to stop with the fist-shaking and make with the ticket-buying.

Crowe has announced a series of tour dates for August that will take him and the aforementioned Indoor Garden Party on a bit of a zig-zagging path, but it's a path that'll find him popping up on both coasts and elsewhere, playing in six different cities.

When Crowe announced his Glastonbury appearance earlier this month, he did so by saying, “For those of you watching and waiting for tour dates, we will be adding more soon," and he's proven to be a man of his word.

The tour, while perhaps shorter than many of his fans would prefer, is his first time playing around America in 12 years. The brief jaunt will start in Newark, New Jersey and then hit New York City before heading to Los Angeles. From there, it's off to Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is followed by Austin, Texas, and then the whole shebang comes to a conclusion in New Orleans.

In a recent interview with Smooth Radio , Crowe explained the origins of his so-called Indoor Garden Party, giving credit to chat show host Michael Parkinson, of all people.

"I was mates with Michael Parkinson, and he had this pub, and I was shooting the movie Robin Hood , "explained Crowe. "We brought together these guys as the Merry Men. And just because it's naturally our band, we were just singing a lot of songs and everything. So we just decided to put on a little show for Michael at his pub. Ended up like hundreds of people turned out, the cast from Master and Commander and stuff like that. And it just went around the room, this idea that you have a central act on stage, but from any point in the room, something special can happen. And that's basically the idea for Indoor Garden Party." As it stands at present, Indoor Garden Party have only released one studio album, 2017’s The Musical , but that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to tour the world and elsewhere whenever Crowe and his cronies are of a mind to do so. Just as a sidebar, it's perhaps worth mentioning that one of those cronies is Crowe's fellow actor Scott Grimes, who also has a fascinating bit of '80s history in his closet as well: he recorded an album with Richard Carpenter. (Yes, the one who was in the Carpenters.)

Yes, we know we mentioned this last time as well. But you can't deny that it's a fascinating piece of information.

King Charles too ‘busy’ to meet with Prince Harry during upcoming London trip

King Charles may be too “busy” to meet with his youngest son, Prince Harry, when he flies to London next week.

The Telegraph reported on Monday that, despite not seeing each other for the last two months, it’s still unknown if Charles’ schedule will allow him to meet up with Harry. And if he does, it will be brief.

The outlet further commented that if he is able to, the King will make time for the California-based royal, who will be in town to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

Per the Telegraph, the King’s busy schedule includes his weekly audience with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, as well as the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the season and previous engagements.

Harry, 39, will be returning to the UK for the first time since early February when he flew in shortly after the King announced his cancer diagnosis.

On Feb. 10, Buckingham Palace revealed that the monarch, 75, was undergoing treatment for an unnamed cancer.

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties,” their statement read.

Immediately after, Harry jumped on a jet and rushed to be by his father’s side, while his wife, Meghan Markle, remained in their Montecito, Calif., home with their two children: Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.

The Duke of Sussex saw his father at Clarence House for under an hour before returning stateside the following day.

Harry later told “Good Morning America” that he was grateful for being able to drop everything to see his father.

“Look, I love my family,” the Duke of Sussex said. “The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Harry’s upcoming trip to London is not the last time he will be able to see his dad for a while.

Page Six exclusively reported that the King may invite Harry and his family to Balmoral Castle this summer in an attempt to mend fences and see his grandchildren, who he has only seen on a handful of occasions.

For the last couple of years, Charles and Harry have had a fractured relationship, which was exacerbated by the publication of the latter’s tell-all memoir “ Spare ” in 2022.

There is no word on whether Harry will see Prince William, whom he has been feuding with for years.

In fact, Harry reportedly found out about his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis from a television report.

Soon after, he and Markle released a statement saying, “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family.”
