Another attraction in Dubai Safari Park Al Warqa is the specially curated Kids Farm, a fun-filled combination of a farm and a petting zoo. In the Kids Farm – Dubai Safari Park, the little ones learn about traditional farm animals like chickens, goats and sheep. How to go to Dubai Safari Park by metro

For those who don’t have a car, the easiest way to get to Safari Park by public transportation is to take the Dubai Metro to the Creek Metro Station on the Green Line. From there you would need to take a taxi. The taxi ride from the Creek Metro to Dubai Safari Park is about 16 minutes.

In fact, the Safari Park is a zoo and some locals habitually call it Dubai Zoo. At some point, he moved out of town, apparently because more territory could be used there.But it's not really a zoo with cages. The animals live in special enclosures, often quite spacious, where they tried to recreate a landscape close to their natural habitat. Although some enclosures are still relatively small.As in many other similar places in Dubai, the Safari Park has several types of entrance tickets of different prices, which include different services. In my opinion, the ticket that says Safari Journey seems optimal, that is, it includes a Safari trip. I'll explain what it is later.The territory is divided into so-called villages, between which small electric buses run, which they call trains, although this is an ordinary wheeled transport. As far as I understand, these trains are not available for all types of tickets. But the distance is not so great and sometimes you can just walk, especially since long queues sometimes gather for this transport.There are only three villages:The African Village.Explorer Village.Asian Village.There is also a children's farm (Kids farm) or a petting zoo, if you like.

Dubai Safari Park (دبي سفاري) – Al Warqa Dubai

Dubai Safari Park has reopened its doors to the public on October 5, 2020, follows a comprehensive renovation and development process aimed at expanding the park and features unique & interactive programmes that provide a memorable experience to the visitors. The visitors can transport themselves around the park on air-conditioned trains across 3 themed zones – the African Village, Asian Village and Explorer Village.

Social distancing of two metres will be strictly enforced with stickers placed on the floors to guide visitors. A thermal camera has been installed and manual thermometers will also be used to screen visitors.

Dubai Safari Park is located in Al Warqa 5 in Aweer Road in an area 400 hectares and includes Safari, Butterfly Park, golf courses, entertainment and recreational areas.
Dubai Safari Park- Al Warqa has Arabian Village, Asian Village, African Village to accommodate animals from different continents
The park will feature air-conditioned rocks, chilled pools, misting machines and a large theatre that seats 1,000 people.
As far as animals go, expect lions, bears, monkeys, bats, elephants, cheetahs, tigers and much, much more.
Interestingly, there will be air-conditioned rocks, chilled pools and misting machines built into the park to help keep the animals cool over the summer months.
The fence around the safari park will be 3.7 kilometers long.
There will be a large theatre in the zoo that seats 1,000 people – this stage will host shows featuring binturong (also known as a Bearcat) and raccoons.
It will take about eight hours to take in the whole park, and there will eventually be a hotel on site.
In total there will be four restaurants in the park, and one of them will look over the cheetah exhibit.
The African area will have lions, gorillas, chimps, warthogs, antelope and a walk-through aviary.
During the summer months, the park will be open in the evening only due to the heat.
The Arabic village will be divided into three environments – the desert, the mountains and the steppe (which means a large area of land that’s mostly treeless but has plenty of shrubs). This area will also feature Bedouin activities – including falconry and dog hunting.
The African area will feature both a savannah and a rainforest, and there will also be a Safari Area where visitors can ride around in a safari car (that’s air-conditioned) in a tour that takes about an hour.

The safari that covers 119 hectares of the total area is aimed at establishing the best centre for wildlife in the world, providing a variety of environments appropriate to different animals.

The best way to get to Dubai Safari Park is to drive up to the location. There is plenty of parking space available at the park, all of it completely free of cost. There are also charging points available if you’re traveling in a green vehicle.

Getting to Dubai Safari Park

This is the best and the easiest way to get to the park. You can simply input your destination as Dubai Safari Park and you should be able to reach the park without any issues.

There are two gates at the park. Gate 1 allows you to enter the park through Ras Al Khor Road and is slightly ahead and on the opposite side of Dragon Mart. Gate 2 allows you entry through Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street. Gate 1 is more easily accessible.

If you don’t have your own car, we’d suggest that you take a taxi to arrive right in front of the park. They’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and also function on controlled meters. You can get more details on Dubai taxis on the RTA website.

If you’re on a budget, then the cheapest way to get to Dubai Safari Park is to catch a bus that drops you off at the bus stand near Dragon Mart 2nd Terminus. From here, you can get a cab which will approximately cost you 25 AED to the park. Catch the buses 50 or N30 to this stop.

The Dubai Metro provides you with a luxurious experience while still being easy on your pockets. However, the nearest metro station is the Rashidiya Metro Station, from where you will still have to get a cab which can cost up to 40 AED. Parking Near Dubai Safari Park

There are three parking areas near the Dubai Safari Park.

P1 is the VIP parking lot and is the closest to the main entrance of the park. It has 540 covered parking spaces and 2 electric charging points for green vehicles.

P2 has 740 parking spaces and is a 5-minute walk from the main entrance.

P3 has 1700 parking spaces but is the farthest from the main entrance. However, you can avail a shuttle service that will take you to the main entrance free of charge upon availability.

Directions to Dubai Safari Park

From Downtown Dubai, get onto Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. Head towards the Financial Center Road and then turn right to get onto Financial Center Road.
Continue straight for about 2 km and then keep left at the Y junction and head towards Nad Al Sheba or E44.
Keep left and continue straight on E44 for about 16.5 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the complete circle around the roundabout and take the fourth exit. Go straight for 1 km until you reach Dubai Safari Park.

Head northwest on 49 C Street and turn right onto Al Khawaneej or D89. Then take the ramp on the left onto Airport Road or D89.
Continue on Airport road for about 6.8 km and then merge onto the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road or E311. Continue for another 6.8 km until you reach the roundabout.
Take the first exit on the roundabout onto Al Awir Road or E44. Continue for about 1 km and then take a slight right to arrive at Gate 1 at Dubai Safari Park.

Arabian Desert Safari

Influenced by the vast and endless desert of Western Asia, the Arabian Desert Safari is a drive-through attraction and is filled with some of the most prominent emblematic species belonging to the Arabian Peninsula. The theme of this village is to bring life to the traditional nomadic desert of the Arabian Peninsula.

The hero animal of this village is the Arabian Wolf. A subspecies of the grey wolf, it thrives on the Arabian Peninsula. Despite being among the tiniest species of wolves, it has amazingly adapted to desert life. You will find them in pairs or small groups instead of large packs.

The conservation status of Arabian Wolves is vulnerable since they are often shot down or poisoned by farmers as these carnivores are prone to eat domestic animals like goats.

The native animals of this village are Arabian Gazelle, Addax, Arabian Oryx, Mountain Gazelle, Sand Gazelle, and Scimitar-horned Oryx.

Asian Village

Inspired by the rich ornate architecture of Asia, the Asian Village will take you on a splendid journey into the diversified culture of the continent. You will find a wide range of thriving wildlife since, just like in the continent itself, this portion of the park is brimmed with animals that live anywhere from the thick bushes of the forest to the pristine ponds.

The hero animal of the Asian Village is the Moon Bear. Carnivorous by nature, it gets its name because of the moon-like crescent-shaped white patch on its chest. Extremely huge in size, the males can grow up to 150 kg while the females can weigh up to 90 kg. They are also known as Asiatic Black Bears.

Their conservation status is vulnerable due to illegal trading and poaching, loss of natural habitat in the wild, and cruel bile harvesting in captive breeding farms. These threats have made them vulnerable to exist freely, and initiatives taken down by this park are actions that can cause their numbers to finally rise.

The other native animals in the Asian Village are Gibbon, Mandarin Duck, and Southern Cassowary. Another attractive feature of this village is its exclusive show – ‘Amazing Creatures of the World’. With a slender body and long limbs, their physique explains their extraordinary ability to run at an astonishing speech. They are among the most vulnerable animal species in the world due to heavy poaching. So, creating a safe habitat for the continuation of life for the future generation of this iconic carnivore is paramount.

Some other attractive feature of this village includes the Colorful Birds Show, where you will get a close understanding of the complexities of the lives of several of nature’s winged ambassadors. This 25-minute edutainment is surely going to create memories that last a lifetime. The Safari Journey that takes place every day from 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM shouldn’t be missed since you get to be close to zebras, tigers, lions, rhinos, etc., in a drive-through trip. How to Reach Dubai Safari Park?

You can choose whatever mode of transportation you prefer to reach the park since it is situated at an accessible distance from almost all modes of transportation. Here is a quick guide to each of them.

By Private Cars and Taxis

Probably the most convenient mode of reaching the park, you can take your private car or book a taxi that is available 24/7.

You will find two gates at the park. Gate 1 is more accessible since it allows you to enter the park through the Ras Al Khor Road. This gate is slightly ahead and is on the opposite side of Dragon Mart. Gate 2, on the other hand, lets you enter through Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street.

Very easy on your pockets, metros are a convenient way to reach the park. Since the nearest metro station to the park is Rashidiya Metro Station, you need to get down there and take a cab to the park.

Buses are economical means to reach the park, and you have to get down near Dragon Mart 2nd Terminus. From there, you need to book a cab to the park.

Parking Areas

There are three parking areas near the Dubai Safari Park. While P1 is the nearest to the park and has added access to electric vehicle charging points, P2 is at a 5-minute walking distance from the park. P3, although is the farthest from the park, has a free service of shuttle vehicles that will take you to the park upon availability.

The hero animal of the Arabian Desert Safari is the Arabian Wolf, a direct descendant of the Grey Wolf (the smallest species of all species). Other species you might want to look out for are Addax, Arabian Gazelle, Sand Gazelle, Mountain Gazelle and the Scimitar-horned Oryx.

African Village

Explorer Village

The ride inside Explorer Village Safari is the most coveted magnet at Dubai Safari Park. Hippos, giraffes, zebras and cheetahs are just some of the spectacular species you’ll find on this 35-40 minute drive.

Safari Journey package ticket holders have access to all villages within the park, including the Explorer Village Safari. However, guests with park admission tickets must upgrade to a Safari Journey Ticket if they wish to experience the limits of the adventure park.

Asian Village

Asian Village is a rainforest safari; watch out for the snake people!

Comprising Chinese architectural and Asian elements, such as dragon-like shops and kiosks. The Southern Cassowary in Safari Park is a large, flightless blackbird deemed a ‘keystone species’. It feeds on over 240 types of fruit and drops the seed at significant lengths, playing the role of a great gardener in the rainforest.

The hero animal of the exhibit is the Moon Bear, commonly known as the Asiatic Black Bear. some fantastic creatures found in the display also include gibbons, cassowaries, Mandarin Duck and timid wallabies.

Besides the wildlife safari and entertainment sites, Dubai Safari Park has a playground especially made for children. The kid’s farm is set up for little guests where they can learn about farm animals such as chickens, goats, sheep and cows. Children can spend their day relaxing in contact with nature and learning how to ride a pony or even how to milk a cow!
