Download a brochure here In assocation with Celt.

Bushcraft: You are lost in the forest around Slieve Aughty. How are you going to survive? Depending on the size of the group and time allowed, activities include starting a fire, basic tools, foraging and cooking wild plants, advanced shelters, purifying water, and tracking wildlife. The challenge of surviving outside of our comfort zone not only gives us the skills to live in the elements, it increases our ability to adapt to new challenges, builds confidence and self-sufficiency, encourages teamwork, and prepares us to face unforeseen problems in the world.

Natural Wonders: Explore the meadows and forest trails of Slieve Aughty on a fun nature hunt. Younger children get a nature journal to complete and keep. Boots recommended as we don’t let the mud stop us – it’s part of nature

Pony Trekking: For groups of 25 or less and ages 8 and up, learn the basics of pony care and go riding through the forest for 35 minutes with a guide.

Leave No Trace: This worldwide outdoor ethics programme is based on 7 principles to inspire careful and considerate use of the natural world and countryside. Our staff are qualified Leave No Trace Trainers. Include a few principles in your school tour or earn a Leave No Trace certificate for each student by making it the focus.

Orienteering (6th class and above): Never get lost again! We teach the basic skills of map reading and compass use and students put those skills to the test with a team treasure hunt. For an additional challenge, find the hidden treasure on horseback!

From the cliffs you can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, the Twelve Pins, the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara and in the south Loop Head.  The name Cliffs of Moher is derived from the ruins of the fortress Mothar, which was built during the Napoleonic wars has been destroyed to make room for a signal tower

Burren Visitor Centre

Ireland’s first Interpretative Centre is the essential introduction to this world-famous UNESCO Geopark, and to thousands of years of history reflected in ancient tombs, forts, castles and distinctively natural farming practices.

Testimonials

As usual you provided an excellent bus service to the school during the year. As in the past you made it a ‘hassle-free’ year for us transport wise and this is mainly due to your care, efficiency, organisation and the professional way you run your business. It was a pleasure doing business with you and I look forward to more of the same in the coming school year.
Thanks to Joe for a great service! Will recommend your service again!
Paul and his team have been transporting our sons from Galway to their boarding school in Kildare for a number of years, about 8 round trips per year. We receive a first class service. Safety and reliability are our primary concerns and we have only praise for the company in this regard. But it is more than that. The drivers know the boys by name, chat to them and “the bus experience” has become part of the excitement for them coming home each time. We receive a really flexible service with exce… Read more
Outstanding! Paul Nash Travel offers a reliable, hassle-free service and Paul and the team are always there for us when we need them. The coaches are modern and impeccably clean. The drivers experienced, competent and punctual. All of these factors together mean we can relax knowing our passengers will enjoy the same top-notch service that we have come to expect.
Paul was not only responsive and helpful in preparing for our family adventure, but he also offered excellent suggestions which we adopted and, ultimately, really enjoyed. It was a pleasure meeting Paul when we arrived.
I’d just like to take a moment to thank you for the excellent service and driver on Friday last for our tour to Turoe Pet Farm. You were very efficient to deal with and Padraig was excellent and very obliging. I’d be happy to recommend your company and look forward to hiring your company in the future hopefully.
I just want to say a massive thank you for your excellent service to make out time in Galway one we’ll never forget. We couldn’t have wished for better transport or a better driver- Joe was a true gent & was everything you’d want in a driver- reliable, friendly, sociable and a great sense of humor.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful service we received from you for our airport transfers. Please can you thank the two drivers who made the journeys more pleasurable we had a wonderful stay in Galway and if we ever return, would not hesitate to use your service again.
I honestly can’t praise Joe (our driver) enough for the weekend, we had a great weekend and part of that was down to Joe. Everyone on the bus commented on how great he was for the weekend. I will definitely be recommending ye to anyone looking for a bus in the future.
The Volunteer Programme at Ability West has been using Paul Nash Travel since we commenced our Best Buddies Programme in 2008. We find the services provided by Paul Nash Travel to be very efficient, cost effective and the staff are always helpful in accommodating our various needs. This adds to the enjoyment of our outings.

Schools & Youth Groups Ireland

Through adventure, we inspire. when you take the classroom outdoors you bring learning to life with our school tours in ireland..

School Tours & Youth Groups Connemara – Working with young people over the last 30 years has shown us that getting from A to B – whether you walk, climb, kayak or zip wire – is easier if you work together.

We work with school groups to build new friendships and nurture confidence. To sum it up, coming to Delphi is a true adventure. You’ll feel relaxed knowing that your school group is supervised and happy And they’ll have fun doing the things that can’t be done in a classroom, whether that means climbing hills or crossing rivers.

Our experienced instructors are fully certified and safety accredited so you can be sure that your school tour group are being properly looked after. And your own luxury accommodation isn’t too far away so you can keep an eye on how they’re doing. Like we said, students have a full activity programme, so when they’re not involved in sports and challenges, they’re enjoying a full spread of nutritional food at mealtimes. In the evenings, we always have activities to help the students socialise.

For your pupils to realise the inside, you’ve got to take them outside.

We love it when students show their sense of adventure. Whether kayaking in Killary Harbour, cycling through the spectacular Delphi Valley, climbing the peaks of Connemara, surfing on the local blue flag beaches, or problem solving on our Delphi Challenges, we want them to get out there and learn new things. We work in teams to help students become confident leaders and better team players.

it’s about digging deep, climbing high and discovering inner courage… it’s more than just a school tour!
