Everything was wonderful - the weather was perfect. The crew was helpful, polite and so informative. We truly enjoyed the experience and will be back next spring for another cruise. I highly recommend taking a boat tour with them!

Being on the water was very calming. Nice boat, good staff, wonderful scenery. The crew's commentary on the trip enhanced the experience. We also got the chance to see bald eagles and vultures soaring above the valley!

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Just the right amount of narration and time to just enjoy the ride. A great experience and left us all with great memories of the day. Excellent, efficient and polite staff! Beautiful views of the St. Croix River!

We had an outstanding experience! A really great venue to host an 80th Birthday party for 30 guests. The staff was very friendly and attentive! We had great weather on a sunset cruise as the fall colors began to change. We loved it!

A beautiful ride along the St. Croix on Friday night, with great musical accompaniment by Charlie O. The scenery was fantastic. Easy boarding and very comfortable seating. Would not hesitate to come back and do this again in the future!

Because life's too short to stay home …, autumn along the st. croix, on fall days, this scenic river valley is dressed to impress..

Above the St. Croix Valley in Stillwater.

© Beth Gauper

On a lovely day in fall, few places show off this region better than the St. Croix River Valley between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The 52-mile stretch from Taylors Falls to the St. Croix's confluence with the Mississippi at Prescott has everything a tourist could want — shops, historic houses, theaters, train excursions, boat cruises.

But mostly, it has scenery — scenery I wanted to show my nieces Alissa and Livia, who had left Florida to start careers in the Twin Cities. As it turns out, the St. Croix in autumn looks awfully good to people raised in Florida.

"Wow, look at those trees," said Livi, who hadn't seen fall color since she attended grade school in Iowa.

"Do all the trees turn red?" asked her sister, Alissa. "It's so odd, having to relearn things every schoolchild here knows."

We started out in Afton State Park, half an hour east of St. Paul, strolling along the riverfront as cabin cruisers rumbled by and hawks wheeled overhead. In Afton, we stopped for ice cream.

Then we rolled northward into Stillwater, where Main Street was clogged with tourists strolling from shop to shop.

Downtown cafes were packed, so we bought sandwiches and took them up Second Street to Pioneer Park, which has a spectacular view of downtown, the river valley and the 1931 lift bridge.

After driving by some of Stillwater's ornate Victorians, we went on to Marine on St. Croix, where we took a short hike along the riverfront trail at William O'Brien State Park.

Just west of Taylors Falls, we explored Franconia Sculpture Park, and there was no such thing as a quick look — the park was packed with sculptures, and each led irresistibly to another. We had almost as much fun as the children who were tearing around the place.

"Look at this, it's a huge playground for us!" said one little girl, clambering onto an artful tangle of metal called "An Ocean Raft."

Fall color in Taylors Falls.

Down on the river, it seemed as if the whole world had turned out to take cruises on St. Croix paddlewheelers and explore the jutting slabs and giant potholes of Interstate State Park.

The potholes, drilled into solid rock by gravel-laced whirlpools in the last days of the last Ice Age, are the world's deepest. Near the Devil's Parlor, a father was descending to the bottom of the 35-foot Bake Oven with his toddler, who was murmuring "scary, scary, scary" to himself.

Rock climbers had affixed nylon ropes to every possible cliff, and couples sat arm-in-arm on perches around Angle Rock, where the world's largest logjam — enough logs to build 20,000 three-bedroom houses — stopped river traffic for six weeks in 1886.

By then, Livi and Alissa were learning quite a bit about logging, which made the St. Croix Valley boom in the 1850s. Before we left, I drove them up Angel Hill to the Folsom House, an 1855 Greek Revival built by a lumber baron and now owned by the Minnesota Historical Society.

We barely caught our train over in Osceola, Wis., where volunteer train buffs from the Minnesota Transportation Museum run Osceola & St. Croix Railway excursion trains.

As soon as we got on, the 1946 diesel locomotive left the 1916 depot, pulling seven vintage cars along the river bluffs and then across the river and through William O'Brien State Park.

We passed beaver lodges and cattail marshes, shady ravines and meadows full of wildflowers. Back at the depot, children ran along unused tracks and into an old caboose.

In Osceola, we went downtown to see 25-foot Cascade Falls, a tourist attraction since the 1880s, then drove down the Wisconsin side of the St. Croix to Hudson.

Since the turn of the century, Minnesotans have made Hudson a party town, crossing the border to enjoy various pleasures forbidden at home — prizefighting, gambling, fireworks, drinking.

Today, however, the saloons in the brick storefronts on Second Street are being crowded out by new restaurants, espresso cafes and home-accessories shops.

Hiking trail in Taylors Falls.

We walked out onto the city's old toll bridge, now a pedestrian path, then headed home. We hadn't seen everything on the St. Croix, but we saw enough local color to impress the ex-Floridians.

"No, we don't have anything like this in Florida," Livi joked. "Just palm trees and alligators."

Finding Minnesota: Fall Leaf Cruises On The St. Croix

October 4, 2015 / 10:15 PM CDT / CBS Minnesota

STILLWATER, Minn. (WCCO) -- Now that it is cooling off, we are starting to see more bursts of red, yellow and orange outside.

While many people hop in the car to check out the colors along the roads and highways, there is another vantage point from a national scenic riverway that draws thousands of people each fall.

The St. Croix Boat and Packet Company has been offering river cruises for the public for more than 30 years, departing from the historic port of Stillwater.

St. Croix River Boat - Finding Minnesota

One of the company's boat captains, Patrick Keilen, says summers are always the busiest. But when fall arrives, visitors enjoy a complete change of scenery.

"The St. Croix River is a national wild and scenic river," Keilen said. "It's basically a national park, and in my opinion, it's a stunningly beautiful river."

Pat Zanko of Stillwater took several out-of-town relatives on a recent cruise.

"You hear the sounds and see how pretty the shore of Stillwater is, and they have a great lunch here on the boat," Zanko said. "I'm very interested in watching what they're doing with the bridge."

As the boats pass by bridge construction workers putting up the new St. Croix Crossing, passengers can check the progress of what is shaping up to be a landmark of the future.

But the ride itself is reminiscent of the past, a time when steamboats were a primary way of getting cargo in and out of river towns.

Brian Anderson is the son of one of the founders of the company.

"I mean where else can you go and get on a paddle boat ride?" Anderson said. "I mean there's not many of us around anymore."

The Anderson family now has six boats in its fleet. Most are the traditional style of riverboat, but the most recent addition is the Majestic Star. It is a luxury yacht that used to cruise New York City and dock at Chelsea Pier, near the World Trade Center.

Majestic Star On The St. Croix - Finding Minnesota

"When 9/11 happened, they used all the boats to get people off the island, and they used the Majestic Star as triage for all the firefighters and all the first responders to get any medical attention, to get any rest," Anderson said. "People are amazed that that's the same boat that was out there."

The company leases the Majestic Star, mostly for private events on the river. The rest of the fleet is open to the general public.

Deveraux Green of Minneapolis bought two tickets on the Jubilee II to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday.

"I think it's amazing," Green said. "It's a great experience."

In the coming weeks, as trees start putting on their show, the riverboats will provide a view that is tough to match from the road.

Rich Franson of Apple Valley says he prefers the floating leaf tour.

"Being from Minnesota, you're always around water, you like to be around water," Franson said. "It's peaceful, fall color, taking a break in the action from your regular workday duties you know, and say, 'Hey, we're going to be on the river today.'"

There are other fall color cruises on different sections of the St. Croix River, departing from Taylors Falls and Afton. Those are operated by different companies.

A Guide to Boat Tours and River Cruises around Minneapolis and St. Paul

Picture of Discover The Cities

  • Updated August 2, 2021

One of the coolest parts about the Twin Cities is their plentiful access to water.

That’s why exploring the Twin Cities via boat is one of our “must try” activities, no matter if you’re a long time resident or just visiting for the weekend.

But since narrowing down the many options is no easy task, we thought we’d lend a local’s hand with this detailed guide to boat and river cruise around Minneapolis and St. Paul.

  • The Who, What, Where of Boat & River Cruises
  • What are the most popular boat tours and river cruises in Minneapolis & St. Paul?
  • Where do cruises go?

Padelford Riverboats

Paradise charter & minneapolis queen, al & alma’s, st croix boat and packet, magnolia blossom cruises, the who, what, where of boat & river cruises  .

As the residents of the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Twin Cities locals know a good riverboat cruise when we see one.

  • A great location?   Check ✓
  • Easy-to-use reservations system? Check ✓
  • Dining and drinks onboard?   Check ✓ and Check ✓

Whether it’s exploring the architectural wonders spanning the Mighty Mississippi or sipping cocktails as the sun goes down, there are plenty of options for boat tours and river cruises in Minneapolis and St. Paul that meet all the requirements on our must-try list.

What are the most popular boat tours and river cruises in Minneapolis & St. Paul?

Before you decide on a vendor and dates for your Minneapolis-St. Paul boat tour, it’s best to decide what type of cruise you’d like to take.   Different boats offer different tour types; some are focused on the scenery, others are more focused on the food and entertainment onboard.   Here are some of the more popular boat tour and river cruise options:

  • Sunset Dinner Cruise – Sunset dinner cruises are by far some of the most popular and first to book up reservations.   Most of the boat operators in the Twin Cities offer some form of a sunset cruise, departing the dock 1-2 hours before dark for dinner and drinks while the sun goes down.   These tours are great for long summer nights when the best place to be is on the water.
  • Sightseeing Cruise – End-of-the-day boat tours might not be the best option for families or visitors trying to fit in other items on the Twin Cities travel itinerary.   If that’s the case, you may want to consider a general sightseeing cruise.   The daytime trips for Twin Cities boat and river tours often fall in this category, with options to see bridges, well-known landmarks and do some wildlife watching.
  • Brunch Cruise – It’s hard to go wrong with a Minneapolis brunch in general. But then make that brunch on a boat, and you’re pretty much set for a terrific outing. Brunch cruises typically depart at 10 AM, have a great menu, and are a casual way to relax and enjoy the water and the weekend.
  • Fall Color Cruises – From late September to mid-October, the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Paul light up with some of the best fall colors in the Upper Midwest.   We love to recommend it to out-of-town guests or friends; get out and enjoy the cooler temperatures and enjoy the mid-day or afternoon fall color cruise.
  • Holiday Cruises – Mother’s Day?   4 th of July?   Labor Day?   If there’s a summer holiday you love to celebrate, there’s a pretty good chance you can commemorate the day with a boat cruise on the Mississippi River.   All the major tour operators in the Twin Cities offer cruises for these events—just make sure to snag reservations well in advance.
  • Private Party – If you’re checking out options for an upcoming private party venue, summertime boat cruises are a great option to explore. Getting a group together for a birthday, anniversary, class reunion, or corporate event is easy and more affordable than you might think.

Where do cruises go?

Not only are there options for the type of boat cruise, but there are also options for departure.   Choosing the tour location changes what you can expect to see and the type of boat you’ll end up taking.   Here are the 4 top departure locations for boat tours and river cruises in the Twin Cities:

  • Mississippi River in Downtown Minneapolis – Departing from Bohemian Flats Park near downtown Minneapolis, taking a Mississippi River cruise from this location means excellent views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline, the historic Stone Arch Bridge, and the University of Minnesota campus.
  • Mississippi River in Downtown St. Paul – For terrific views of the St. Paul skyline and the best chance to see wildlife in the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, depart from downtown St. Paul.   You’ll also have an opportunity to board some historic riverboats at the docks on Harriet Island.
  • Lake Minnetonka – Looking for the best drinks and food?   Want to take a cruise on a newer, luxury yacht? Best to head west for a boat tour on Lake Minnetonka.   We love these tours for ogling at the giant houses while we sip on sundowners.
  • St. Croix River in Stillwater – One trip over the I-94 bridge from Minnesota to Wisconsin, and it’s pretty clear that the St. Croix River is a top Twin Cities boating destination.   Several river tours depart the docks near Stillwater during the summer, with both traditional paddleboat options and upscale dinner cruises. This is our top spot for fall colors as well.

The Top Twin Cities Boat and River Cruise Companies

Ready to book your cruise?   Try out one of these Twin Cities boat and river cruise companies for the best tours and destinations:

More than 5 million visitors have taken a riverboat cruise with Padleford Riverboats in downtown St. Paul.   They offer the largest selection of tour options (sightseeing, dining, themed cruises, school trips, and private events) and have some of the best deals on tickets and dining.   On Mondays, Padleford hosts a $10 cruise with 2-for-1 beers after 6 PM – an excellent happy hour option for co-workers and friends.

  • Location – Downtown St. Paul: 205 Dr. Justus Ohage Blvd, St. Paul, MN 55107
  • Website: Padleford Riverboats

As the largest tour operator in the Twin Cities (five vessels in two locations), Paradise Charters has more than 30 years of experience taking trips on the Mississippi River and Lake Minnetonka. They have an extensive portfolio of tour choices, including a full calendar of tours running seven days a week during the summer. Expect to shell out a bit more for tickets on Paradise cruises, with most tickets running $35-40 per person.

  • Location – Downtown Minneapolis: 2150 W River Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN 55454
  • Location – Port of Excelsior/Lake Minnetonka: 2 Water St, Excelsior, MN 55331

Consistently voted on “Best of the Twin Cities” lists, Al and Alma’s boat charters on Lake Minnetonka have been offering tours on the lake since 1973.   Their fleet includes the largest motorized yacht on Lake Minnetonka, the 83-foot “Bella Vista,” and some of Minnesota’s most expensive public yachts.   Al and Alma’s cruises also feature food prepped from their Cooks Bay supper club—expect better menu options than you’ll find on any other Twin Cities boat cruises.

  • Location – Lake Minnetonka: Lake Minnetonka (multiple locations for departure)
  • Website: Al & Alma’s

Located on the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway near Stillwater, St. Croix Boat and Packet (aka Stillwater River Boats) is home to one of the largest river tour boats in the Twin Cities Metro.  St. Croix operates six boats, seven days per week, with cruises from 11:30 AM to 8 PM.  Their largest boat holds more than 650 guests, with multiple floors of bars and dining and a terrific roof deck for river viewing.

  • Location: 525 Main St S, Stillwater, MN 55082
  • Website: St. Croix Boat and Packet Co.

Looking for an unforgettable party venue for a group of 60-100 friends, family, or co-workers?   The Magnolia Blossom Cruise company offers private charter cruises on their historic riverboat.   The tour boat docks on the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Paul, allowing trips customized to view downtown Minneapolis or downtown St. Paul scenery.   The Magnolia is one of the few boats that will navigate the lock and dam at Ford Parkway, something your guests won’t soon forget.   Note, Magnolia does not offer public boat cruises; the tours are by charter contract only.

  • Location – Mississippi River near St. Paul: 2500 Crosby Farm Rd, St Paul, MN 55116

EVENT DETAILS:

The great state of Minnesota is beautiful during all seasons, but come Autumn, when the air is crisp and the trees begin to turn fiery colors of orange, yellow, and red, the Land of Lakes really shines.  For this installment of our ‘Fall Foliage’ event series, we’ll explore the pristine St. Croix River Valley.  Join us for a full day of fall fun as we take in the majesty of this region by bus, train, trolley, boat, and foot.

Our day will begin in Roseville, MN at our check-in location, where your GetKnit Gurus will be waiting to greet you with a hot cup of joe and donuts. From there, a luxury coach bus will whisk us north while we enjoy some ham and cheese croissants from A Bakers Wife .  Our first stop of the day will be at the beautiful Interstate State Park nestled on the coast of the pristine St. Croix River.  Here we will be greeted by a naturalist, who will give a brief but informative overview of the many treasures that lie within this too often overlooked state park.  Afterwards we will have some free time to explore the beautiful park on our own.

After we’ve gotten some fresh air, we’ll head to  Minnesota Transportation Museum’s historic 1916 Soo Line depot located in Osceola, WI.  There we will board the Great Northern train and get settled into our private train cars for a 90 minute journey that follows the St. Croix River valley on top of the river bluffs, winds down to river level, crosses over historic bridges, and travels through lush state parks.

We will then head to the river valley’s newest winery – Rustic Roots Winery .   Here we’ll be welcomed with a wine tasting flight of four locally made wines in their outdoor tent adjacent to their beautiful vine filled fields, reserved just for us.  Once we get settled in we’ll be treated to a  scrumptious lunch buffet from local favorite – Juneberry Cafe .   Our lunch buffet will include an impressive seasonal spread featuring Turkey sandwiches with roasted sweet potatoes and raspberry jam with romaine; Salami sandwiches with tomato, mozzarella, and dijon mustard with romaine ; Couscous Salad with roasted butternut squash, craisins, and roasted pepitas; mixed greens salad; kettle cooked potato chips and chocolate chip cookies.  After we’ve refueled, you’ll have some free time to order up another beverage, explore the grounds, or just kick up your feet and take in the beautiful views of the valley from our private covered pergola.

Next, we will continue our journey down river to the “birthplace of Minnesota” – Stillwater, MN.  Here we’ll have some free time to walk out onto the newly opened pedestrian lift bridge, explore some shops, grab a pick-me-up from a local coffee shop, or keep the party going with a drink from Stillwater’s own local brewery or distillery.  However you choose to explore, you’ll be sure to enjoy the charm of this small river town.

We will come back together and board the Stillwater Trolley for a 45 minute open-aired private tour of this historic town. This narrated tour will take you on a journey as Stillwater evolved from a booming lumber town full of beautiful old Victorian Mansions to “One of the prettiest little towns in America”.

To round out this epic fall day, we’ll board our private Stillwater River Boat for a 2-hour sunset dinner cruise!  Once we get on board we will be treated to your choice of a tap beer, house wine, rail drink, or non-alcoholic beverage.  After we’ve had some time to marvel at the views of this National Parkway, we’ll be treated to a dinner buffet featuring your choice of Lemon Garlic Crusted Chicken, Beef Pot Roast with Candied Carrots, & Roast Pork with Apples served with salad, fruit, and potatoes.  After we’ve eaten our fill, we’ll be able to kick back and enjoy a lovely sunset as we cruise back into Stillwater to complete our day’s adventures.

We think you’ll agree that this day-trip will leave you with beautiful photos, wonderful memories, and a renewed appreciation for all that our diverse state (and Western WI!) has to offer.

Fall Colors in Minnesota: 10 Tours for Families

Girl holding red/orange leaf in front of her face. "Fall Colors in Minnesota: 10 Tours for Families"

My absolute, without a doubt, favorite time of the year is the fall. When the air turns crisp in the evenings, the sunlight takes on that autumn glow, and I can smell the earthy scent of the maturing plants and the smoky aroma of bonfires and barbecues, I shiver in delight. When I can pull out my favorite sweater or jeans and lace up my cute leather boots while packing my children’s school supplies, I grin. While making a cup of coffee and wrapping myself in my favorite afghan to sit on my front step, I sigh and enjoy the fleeting fall colors.

Fall is so perfect. It’s also the most fleeting season in Minnesota. With a snap of the fingers, the leaves change colors. With only a narrow window of time to enjoy the fall color around the Twin Cities, it’s time to plan ahead. We’ve rounded up ten ideas of places you can bring your family to enjoy the beauty of the season.

3 thoughts on “fall colors in minnesota: 10 tours for families”.

Try jumping across the Prescott, WI bridge. Take a right and follow WI 35 as far as you want. Only the oaks are left now. But every hue of red, orange, and yellow. You drive along the Mississippi who’s beauty way surpasses Minnesota’s. Move inland toward Elsworth, Eau Galle, Durand, Lund. The huge hills, valleys for miles, colors. All I can say every time when I drive it, which is lots, is WOW. We usually make it a half day trip.

I love that area so so much! This is a fantastic suggestion.

Sights of Elektrostal, Moscow region

2024 Author : Harold Hamphrey | [email protected] . Last modified: 2023-12-17 10:06

In the Moscow region there is a small cozy town Elektrostal. Its sights for the most part have no historical value due to the fact that the city has a relatively small history. But for a visiting tourist or city dweller, they will be of interest. There is something to see, where to go to have an exciting leisure time.

Today the population of the city is 158 thousand people. Until the beginning of the 20th century there were several small workers' settlements here. After the opening of the electrometallurgical and equipment factories, the place began to be called the natural boundary of Calm. The construction of the railway made this settlement accessible, and workers and families flocked here to earn money. In 1925, the station was named Elektrostal, and the rapid increase in population allowed the village to receive the status of a city.

attractions elektrostal photo

The founder of the city is a prominent Russian industrialist Nikolai Vtorov. It was he who opened the plant here, creating, in fact, a city-forming enterprise that is still operating. In Soviet times, it was a closed facility, and it was not easy to get to work here.

Today Elektrostal is a promising industrial city with a great future and a heroic past. It bears the proud name "City of Military and Labor Glory".

You can learn about the sights of Elektrostal with descriptions and photos here. There are places for walking, outdoor activities and cultural development.

sights of the electric steel of the Moscow region

Those who come to the city by train are met by a monument to the metallurgist. It was installed in November 2017 for the 100th anniversary of the Elektrostal plant. The attraction is made in the style of constructivism. The monument quickly won the love of the townspeople, because this city is supported by ordinary workers.

Elektrostal attractions photo with description

Elektrost altsy and the founding father of the plant, Nikolai Vtorov, are honored. In 2002, a monument was opened in honor of him, which became a landmark of the city of Elektrostal. The bronze sculpture is installed on the site where once stood a monument to the leader of the world proletariat, V. I. Lenin. Times change, characters change. Today, the plant, founded a century ago, is the largest in Russia. Vtorov himself, whose fortune was estimated at 60 million rubles in gold, according to Forbes magazine, was the owner of the largest capital at the beginning of the century. He was a banker, an industrialist, an entrepreneur, a man of action.

The monument was erected byinitiative of the townspeople who wished to perpetuate the monument to the great man.

One of the popular places for spending weekends and evenings among citizens and guests of the city is the Park of Culture and Leisure. Here you can ride attractions for children and adults, play slot machines, rollerblade or bike. The park is divided into two zones. Fans of unhurried walks in the fresh air make a promenade on the Quiet Alley, and those who prefer outdoor activities flock to the Entertainment Alley. The park has a summer stage, where concerts and cafes are regularly held.

Elektrostal attractions

Until 1999, there was no central museum among the attractions of Elektrostal in the Moscow Region. The expositions were exhibited in schools, the house of culture, in factory museums. The city was closed, so there was no large influx of tourists and visitors. The appearance of the historical and art museum made it possible for residents and guests of the city to learn a lot of useful information about their native land, the formation of the production process, and the difficult years of the war. The exposition consists of paintings by local artists, historical artifacts, household items, documents, books and much more. The collection is updated regularly. It also hosts outdoor exhibitions, which are always popular with the townspeople.

One of the main attractions of Elektrostal, the photo of which is available to almost every resident or visitor, is the Main Alley. On herpassers-by like to stroll along shady paths, townspeople rest by the fountain after a hard shift at the plant. Flower beds are the decoration of the alley. In 2006, a flower festival was held here for the first time, which has become traditional. Each enterprise of the city and private individuals give residents a real composition of fresh flowers, which pleases with bright colors all summer long. A riot of colors, aromas and a flight of fantasy reigns here. Walking through the park, you can see Snow White with a basket, a bright well, a multi-tiered cake made from fresh flowers, hearts of lovers or a fabulous house. It is almost impossible not to take a photo against the background of these compositions.

There is a cultural center in the city. It hosts performances by local creative teams and visiting stars, performances and circus performances.

In 1971, the ice palace "Crystal" was opened in the city. Almost immediately, a children's and youth hockey team was organized, which gained sports fame. This is the home sports arena for the Elektrostal hockey team. Matches of different levels are held on the ice.

There are sections for children who go in for hockey or figure skating. Citizens come here with their families to cheer for their favorite team or go ice skating.

Elektrostal is a city with a heroic past. During the war years, more than 12 thousand citizens came to the recruiting station and went to the front to defend their homeland. Almost 4 thousand of them did not return from the battle. To these heroesdedicated to the memorial complex with the inextinguishable Eternal Flame, opened in 1968

But the electricians took part in the war in Afghanistan and Chechnya. By decision of the city authorities, their memory is also immortalized in the memorial complex.

It has become a good tradition for newlyweds to lay flowers at this monument.

attractions of the city of Elektrostal

In 1999, a museum and exhibition complex was opened in the city, where, in addition to the exhibition hall, there are numerous circles for children, classes for young people, and a creative workshop. Various festivals, exhibitions, city holidays and other events are held within the walls and on the territory of the complex, which attract many spectators.

Elektrostal attractions

Listing the sights of Elektrostal, it is impossible not to mention the temples. There are several of them in the city: the church of St. John of Kronstadt, St. Andrew's Church, the hospital church of St. Panteleimon. Another new church is being built. In appearance, the temples look ancient, monumental, in the Novgorod style. But they were all built at the end of the 20th century.

Let there be no ancient artifacts among the sights of Elektrostal. But on the other hand, all of them are connected with the history of the city, with everyday work and military exploits of ordinary residents.
