Willie Nelson announced on Tuesday (March 14) he’s bringing back the Outlaw Music Festival in 2023 for a string of dates this summer.

The annual festival, which serves as a celebration of Nelson’s life and legacy, will see the country rocker bringing friends and family on the road to celebrate his upcoming 90th birthday. Guests will include Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, John Fogerty, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Whiskey Myers, Gov’t Mule, Marcus King, Margo Price, Trampled By Turtles, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Kathleen Edwards, Flatland Cavalry, Kurt Vile And The Violators, Brittney Spencer and Particle Kid.

Willie Nelson has announced the return of his Outlaw Music Festival Tour, with special guests to appear at each date. You can see the full line-up below.

The annual festival begins in June in St. Louis, finishing up in Philadelphia in September. Willie Nelson and Family will headline each date while being joined by a host of musicians along the way.

The Outlaw Music Festival line-up includes Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, ZZ Top, Chris Stapleton , Steve Earle & The Dukes, Gov’t Mule, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Charley Crockett, The Avett Brothers, Brittney Spencer, Brothers Osborne, Larkin Poe, Zach Bryan, The War and Treaty, and Billy Strings.

“The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun,” Nelson said in a statement. “With the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date.”

Outlaw Festival Reveals 2024 Lineup: Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, More

Willie Nelson has revealed the lineup of artists set to join him “On The Road Again” for the 2024 Outlaw Music Festival Tour .

Traveling alongside the country music legend on select dates are fellow icon  Bob Dylan , duet powerhouse  Robert Plant and  Alison Krauss , and Willie’s Farm Aid co-founder  John Mellencamp . Singer-songwriter  Brittney Spencer , blues torchbearer  Celisse , and Memphis blues band Southern Avenue will rotate in as support, while Billy Strings will join the tour for one night only at  The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA (8/10). Willie and Dylan are the two constants, performing every night of the 25-date tour that strikes a balance of old white men and rising women of color, plus Alison Krauss. These dates will supplement the spring leg of Dylan’s Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour , which began in 2021 and is set to end this year.

The 2024 Outlaw Festival Tour will kick off on June 21st in Alpharetta, GA and run through September 17th when it closes in Buffalo, NY. For three months, Willie and company will crisscross the United States, playing outdoor amphitheaters from coast to coast and plenty of points in between. Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and More to Embark on Massive 2024 Outlaw Music Festival Tour This Summer

Willie Nelson & Family's annual Outlaw Music Festival Tour returns this summer with 25 dates across North America

Willie Nelson ’s going “On the Road Again” — with many special guests!

On Tuesday, the country music legend, 90, announced his annual Outlaw Music Festival Tour is back again this summer and he revealed the headliners include his Family band , Bob Dylan , Robert Plant & Allison Krause and John Mellencamp .

At select dates, they’ll also be joined by country star Brittney Spencer , soul singer Celisse and five-piece Memphis band Southern Avenue , as well as Bluegrass artist Billy Strings at one special show. 

This year’s Outlaw Music Festival kicks off on June 21 in Alpharetta, Georgia, and continues throughout the summer before wrapping up on Sept. 17 in Buffalo, New York. The Grammy winner and his A-list lineup of musicians will play a total of 25 shows, primarily at amphitheaters throughout North America.

Celisse will appear at the first run of shows, then pass off the support slate to Spencer, and Southern Avenue will help to close out the tour. Strings will make an appearance at just the show outside of Seattle in George, Washington, where he’ll open in addition to Spencer. 

The musicians join an impressive list of past Outlaw Music Festival performers, as stars such as Tyler Childers , Eric Church , Luke Combs , Sheryl Crow , Bonnie Raitt , Sturgill Simpson , Chris Stapleton , Neil Young and many others have joined the tour since its 2016 inception. 

Nelson shared a statement in a press release to express his excitement regarding the forthcoming concerts. “This year's Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this lineup of legendary artists. I am thrilled to get back on the road again with my family and friends playing the music we love for the fans we love," the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer said. 

Dylan, 82, notably previously joined the “Always On My Mind” singer on several dates of his 2017 tour, but this year marks their first extended run together. The two icons will link up after they both set out on their own solo headlining tours this spring.

When Nelson celebrated his milestone 90th birthday last April, he opened up to PEOPLE about his commitment to staying out on the road. "I get a lot of fun out of playing for an audience," he said. "There's a great energy exchange there. It's what keeps me going."

Citi cardmembers also have access to a presale from now until Thursday at 10 p.m. local time. On Friday, the general on-sale will kick off at 10 a.m. local time on http://OutlawMusicFestival.com .

Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival tour announces star-studded lineup; Wheatland date set for August

WHEATLAND – Willie Nelson's 2024 Outlaw Music Festival tour has announced its lineup, and it's set to be a star-studded affair.

The lineup was revealed on Tuesday and features legends like Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, and John Mellencamp. Not all artists will be at every stop on the tour, though.

Stops all around the US are scheduled from June through September.

Wheatland has a date with the tour on Aug. 4 at the Toyota Amphitheatre. Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, and Brittney Spencer are listed as the featured acts.

General onsale tickets will start on March 1.

As he continues to celebrate his 90th birthday year, Willie Nelson has lined up a stacked list of events throughout 2023, giving fans plenty of opportunities to see the country legend live.

Along with his special 90th birthday concert in Hollywood in April and his much-loved Luck Reunion in March, Willie Nelson has announced a slew of tour dates as part of his Outlaw Music Festival.

Kicking off on June 23 in Somerset, Wisconsin, the tour will feature a star-studded roster of support acts, including Whiskey Myers , Margo Price , Marcus King and more.

More recently, a series of Fall dates were added to the 2023 Outlaw Music Festival tour, with shows now booked throughout September and October, with support coming from the likes of Gov’t Mule, The String Cheese Incident, Los Lobos and more.

The 2023 Outlaw Music Festival tour will also include appearances from the likes of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, Trampled By Turtles, John Fogerty, Kathleen Edwards, Flatland Cavalry and Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats.

As is tradition, Willie Nelson will also be performing alongside his family on every date, and fans will be excited to hear him play hits from across his sprawling discography, such as ‘Whiskey River’, ‘Always On My Mind’ and ‘On The Road Again’.

The tour will take Willie Nelson and his openers across Wisconsin, Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Ohio.

The latest instalment follows Willie's hugely popular 2022 Outlaw Music Festival tour, which was supported by country heavyweights such as Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, Charley Crockett and more.

W illie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour returns in 2024 with a lineup that is so good that you just might not believe your eyes.

The rotating cast of amazing talents who are set to perform on the road show include, of course, headliners Willie Nelson & Family as well as Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp with Brittney Spencer, Celisse, Southern Avenue and Billy Strings.

The trek includes two stops in Northern California — Aug. 3 at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View and Aug. 4 at Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland. Both shows feature a lineup of Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Brittney Spencer.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. March 1,  OutlawMusicFestival.com . There is also a Citi cardmember presale that runs 10 a.m. Feb. 27 to 10 p.m. Feb. 29, citientertainment.com .

“This year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this lineup of legendary artists. I am thrilled to get back on the road again with my family and friends playing the music we love for the fans we love,” Willie Nelson said in a news release.

The inaugural Outlaw Music Festival took place in 2016 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Over the years, the festival has featured such acts as Chris Stapleton, Neil Young, Luke Combs, Van Morrison, ZZ Top, Eric Church, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson and the Avett Brothers.
