Ben Wilson / 18 Jan 2024
MANILA, PHILIPPINES, January 18, 2024 – The Asian Poker Tour sponsored by Natural8 is thrilled to get the Year of the Dragon off to a roaring start with APT Taipei 2024 which will be held from February 28 to March 10.
The highlight of the 12-day poker festival will be the TWD 70,000 (~USD $2,200) APT Main Event , playing out March 3-9 – which will boast the largest ever prize pool guarantee for the tour at TWD 65 million (~USD 2 million)!
Run in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold'em Poker Club (CTP) the festival will run over two venues 1.7 km apart; the CTP Asia Poker Arena – Asia's largest poker room – and the CML (Chinese Mahjong League 華人麻將競技聯盟) both located in central Taipei.
“The Main Event is just the first of several exciting announcements for APT Taipei 2024. We made history here last year and we are optimistic that we will break those records once again.” said APT President Neil Johnson.
