Shepherd of the Hills 8-Lines Zipline Canopy Tour includes all the ziplines at this Branson canopy tour attraction! You’ll zip along four short lines and four longer lines from platform to platform and through the scenic acreage of the legendary Shepherd of the Hills Homestead. The adventurous Canopy Tour is the latest in exciting experiences waiting to be had at the Homestead; you’ll also find the newly renovated Inspiration Tower and the Vigilante Extreme ZipRider that launches from it, as well as ATV rides, an animated Christmas-time drive-through display, a ropes course, Lil Pete’s Playland for your little rugrats, and the long-running, iconic Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama.

If you don’t have time for all eight ziplines, you can always opt for the Canopy Tour that includes only the four short lines or the one with the four longer lines. Regardless of which Tour you take, you can count on having a fantastic time in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Branson!

Additional Information/Helpful Hints

Shepherd of the Hills 8-Lines Zipline Canopy Tour is located at the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead & Adventure Park at 5586 West 76 Country Boulevard.

You’ll find the Homestead approximately 1.5 miles west of The Strip and Shepherd of the Hills Expressway intersection.

Children under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Must be able to understand and demonstrate knowledge of all safety rules and the course environment to experience the attraction.

Participating while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited.

Maximum weight is 275lbs.

Must be at least 3 years old to participate. No height restrictions.

Must safely fit in the harness.

Ensure that shoes are secure. No flip-flops or open heel shoes. Make sure shoelaces are tied.

Pockets must be empty. No loose objects such as cell phones or cameras. Eyeglasses should be secure. Operators are not responsible for lost or misplaced personal items.

No gum, food or drinks allowed on attraction.

Follow all operator instructions, posted rule signs and stickers.

Since this is an adventure sport activity, we do not recommend those to ride with high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems, motion sickness, recent surgery, medical sensitivity to quick stopping motions, extreme fear of heights, epilepsy, history of panic attacks or other conditions which could be aggravated by this adventure.

Expectant mothers should not ride.

Please check-in at the main entrance, 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour. Times available at 9AM, 11AM, 1:30PM and 3:30PM daily.

You will be provided with all of the necessary gear which meets the ACCT standards for zipline equipment. When you take the tour, you should wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing. Dangly jewelry must be taken off and long hair must be tied back. History of The Shepherd of the Hills

In the early 1900s, a Christian minister wandered into the Ozark hills, looking for better health, and found a community that would change his future. There are many interesting places to get a good view of Branson and the surrounding area. There’s the Inspiration Tower at Shepherd of the Hills. There’s the very tip top of the rollercoasters at Silver Dollar City. Or the Skycoaster at the Go Kart track. Or the Henning Hawk Watch Tower at the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area. But if you really want a unique view of the Branson area, you’ll want to check out the Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours at Wolfe Creek Preserve – it’s sure to give you the view you’re looking for!

Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours at Wolfe Creek Preserve are located on the east side of Highway 65, just seven miles north of Branson city limits. The entrance is a sharp right turn that descends downhill – so be sure to approach it at a reasonable speed! But it’s difficult to miss – large colorful billboards advertising the zipline and telling you where to turn can be spotted from a long ways away, and the zipline and zipline platforms with bright blue roofs are visible from the highway. Once you turn in to the parking lot, your ziplining adventure begins!

The Branson Zipline and Canopy Tours are classified as ‘world class eco-tours.’ The entire zipline was constructed with the best environmental interests of Wolfe Creek Preserve in mind. For example, the zipline towers were built using helicopters instead of bulldozers and other heavy ground equipment that might have damaged the fragile eco-structure of the preserve. The result was a four million dollar environmentally conscious establishment that is proud to fly visitors through the air as they tour the rugged, natural beauty of the Wolfe Creek Preserve. Riders will often get the exciting opportunity to see native Missouri wildlife, such as Whitetail Deer, Bobcat and a vast array of birds, ranging from small songbirds like American Goldfinches on up to big raptors like Red Tailed Hawks.

Since the Branson Zipline opened in May of 2010, literally thousands of visitors have been safely (and enjoyably!) guided through the beautiful Ozarks canopy. All visitors receive an orientation course prior to riding the zipline – orientations are given by trained professionals to ensure that safety is the top priority. Once orientation is completed, the zipline tours begin! The Branson Zipline offers four tour options, each with a different number of ziplines and suspension bridges. Each tour also has a different time limit, anywhere from thirty minutes to four hours. The Ozarks Xplorer Canopy Tour has been a best seller at the Branson Zipline. If you plan on ziplining as a family or in a group, the Flying Prospector Canopy Tour is a good tour to consider. For those wanting a quick adrenaline rush, check out the Blue Streak Fast Line and Free Fall Express! This tour includes a heart pounding breathtaking one hundred foot free fall! And if you want it all, take the Canopy Adventure Combo tour – it includes a tour of the entire canopy AND the free fall. For those who may not be so keen on heights, Branson Zipline also offers a walking nature tour, where you can experience the beauty of Wolfe Creek Preserve with your feet on the ground.
