Great place to stop in for a great meal! Staff are awesome and have excellent people skills. There are 3 components of this ... business. The store, the restaurant and the truck stop casino. I enjoy visiting all 3. Great selection of poker style machineswhich are always updated with the newest games. Drinks are free as long as you are playing in the casino area. Tried Cashs diner for the first time ever and was not disappointed! I ordered the grilled fish and shrimp and my husband got the ... fried fish and shrimp. We both had side salads and they were fresh and crisp. They also brought me a service of greens whichwere very flavorful. The food was delicious and the waitress, Rhonda, was very nice. Amazing Red Beans and Rice. I ordered it with extra Sausage……… Staff is outstanding. Make you feel right at home.

This restaurant is great. My first time here! I had the Fish platter. The best fish I've ate. I would give a 5 star, but the parking lot is rough. Fuel is cheaper than any other stops.

One of the Best places to stop in and grab a meal plus spend the night, as a professional driver as well. Showers are $8 and the laundry room is Free for the Professional Drivers as well. Helpful feedback to the Ownership. Put money back in the property for the parking lot, fuel pumps, inside and outside face lift. This is a Great gem of a business as well much continued success.

I was a little worried to come here because this isn't a corporate truck stop. But unlike the big name truck stops this place wasn't crowded with trucks bouncing into each other. It seemed like everyone liked their jobs that worked there too. Food at the restaurant was so good and the service made me hate the west coast even more. Seriously, anyone in any form of customer service needs to go to the south and learn how customers should be treated. I stayed the night and grabbed a shower. They are $8 and basic, nothing fancy. They also have free laundry facilities which was very appreciated. I wish I'd found this place 10 years ago. Will return whenever I can.

We’re here on vacation and decided to come here on a whim. I am not lying when I say that they have the BEST red beans and rice with sausage EVER! The food in general was great, the portions and prices are awesome, and Rhonda was an amazing waitress. I definitely recommend!

I stopped in for a quick bite after a long day of driving. I checked out the menu online (prices are a little outdated). I wanted the Chicken fried steak and wouldn't you know it, I went inside and that was the special of the day. I gotta say it was very good. It was piping hot and came out super quick. The sweet tea was tasty as well. The wait staff were very nice and kept checking in how I was doing. Overall my experience here was pleasant and I recommend giving it a shot if you're staying for the night.

There's a good reason this restaurant is right off the interstate. Because you need to stop there to get something to eat. Regardless of how picky you are or how much or how little you are hungry for it is worth it and the flavor is good for what you expect for a truck stop restaurant. The salad is the huge, the burgers are delicious, beef and gravy is amazing. Definently worth stopping and eating from how good the food is not including the staff being extremely friendly and helpful. So much on the menu to eat and its with it.

We were traveling in a RV pulling a Jeep and there was plenty of room at the pump to fuel up. That's difficult to find some time. There is a small kitchen/grill inside the store. We got burgers and fries, they were made fresh, and man were they good. The burger had really good flavor as did the seasoned fries. When we are back that way we will definitely stop there again.

The restaurant Sixty is located on the 62nd floor of the Federation Tower, one of Moscow's tallest skyscrapers. At 225 meters above the ground, its height is no joke. You can almost touch the clouds during the day or count the stars and lights of the Moscow City skyscrapers at night.

When entering the restaurant, you immediately notice its huge panoramic windows and birch trees (which, unfortunately, are not real). And if you’re not ready to visit this restaurant for the sake of these windows alone then its talented French chef, Regis Trigel, should be more than enough to persuade you.

One guest named Alexander shared his impressions: "The point of the restaurant is the moment when the windows open, people get up from their seats to stand by the open windows and admire Moscow in the open air. In fact, from the usual procedure of airing the rooms, a whole show is made—that's great! It is said that this is the only place in all Moscow City where the upper parts of the windows are fully opened."

Keep in mind it is best to make a reservation in advance in order to get a table by the window.

White Rabbit

White Rabbit took 23d place in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. That’s already impressive enough, but its view also stands out. White Rabbit is located beneath a glass dome on the 16th floor of Smolenskiy Passage. In the evening, a stunning view of the city is guaranteed, but make sure to reserve well in advance to get a table near the window.

Vladimir Mukhin, White Rabbit’s chef, makes Russian cuisine in line with the latest trends and using local products. Guests are usually delighted with the Chef's Table—evenings when Mukhin and other chefs from the restaurant present special menus. If you want to taste unusual combinations like borsch with carp or ice cream made from traditional black bread, this place is for you.

3 Smolenskaya square, 16th floor

Karlsson astonishes visitors with unbelievable views of the Kremlin and Moscow's historical center. The restaurant is especially pleasant in the summer when the veranda is open. The restaurant’s brand chef, Carlo Grecu from Italy, prepares Mediterranean cuisine. Try the risotto with king crab and avocado mousse.

Ovchinnikovskaya Embankment, 20/1, BC "Central City Tower"

Buono restaurant is located on the 29th and 30th floors of the renovated Ukraina Hotel, the new Radisson Royal, which is located in one of Moscow’s seven famous skyscrapers. Most of the seats are lined along panoramic windows on a covered terrace, providing a breathtaking view of the city. Another thing that attracts guests' attention is the wooden pizza oven. As you might have already guessed, Buono’s chef, Christian Lorenzini, specializes in classic Italian cuisine. Try the scallops with fresh spinach, green asparagus, morels and truffle sauce.

You might also want to visit one more restaurant in the same building—the rather more brutal Mercedes Bar, situated on the 31st floor. In Mercedes Bar, Christian Lorenzini prepares dishes based on the top hits of modern European cuisine.

Seventh Heaven Restaurant

This restaurant is located around 330 meters above ground in the Ostankino TV Tower. It was opened in 1967 but closed for reconstruction following a fire in 2000. It finally reopened in 2016.

The restaurant complex covers three floors. In order to get there, you need to buy a ticket to the observation point. Then choose where to eat: in a bistro, cafe or restaurant. The tables stand on a platform that rotates in 40-minute intervals, showing you Moscow from a bird’s-eye view. The different dining options vary in terms of menu, price and interior decoration. Chef Andrey Gurko is guaranteed to complement the views with equally impressive gastronomic adventures.

The food was okay and the service was pleasant however it was not as good or as memorable as the other restaurants that we dined at whilst visiting Moscow. This restaurant is NOT for couples on a romantic date. The music is too loud, the people watching is too distracting, the interiors are wowing, and the views command abandoning one's table in a rash to snap that one more perfect photo. The visit starts... with a lush lobby and a high speed lift that takes you up 62 floors in a swoosh. Ears still clogged, you are greeted by gorgeous welcome girls who escort you to your table in a huge hall cleverly divided into intimate cosy zones, all surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and a glass ceiling. Despite the sanctions imposed by Russia on foreign food imports, only 3 items were not available on the extensive menu: buffalo mozzarella, asparagus and foir gras. I am appalled by the reviewer who chose a burger from the menu. Seafood hot starters could be a meal in themselves: Wasabi grilled prawns, crab legs and other shell fish are superb in freshness, taste and presentation. Salads have fresh and crispy greens (where do they come from?) and delicate dressing. The mains include, just to name a few, all usual cuts of beef, rack of lamb, black cod, australian baramundi, halibut. The service was superb, one meal followed another seamlessly. The waitress had little English but menu contains English and we had no difficulties at all. The wine list has great choices served properly. People watching was fun. The restaurant had probably the highest concentration of gorgeous russian women under one roof, which proved a bit distracting to some of our party. Every half hour or so, the restaurant will turn up the music which is a sign that they are about to open the windows exposing the most spectacular views of Moscow. Very good service and indeed having good food and atmosphere. The only thing I can criticize is the size of the raw oysters, just a bit disappointed. But overall, fantastic experience!

Don't go to Sixty. The reception was rude. When we got seated they said, we can only have the table for one and a half hours, the food is too expensive to be told that. Service is awful, we got served a little bit of... water in the beginning, and that was it. The waiter never came by and asked if we wanted more. Luckily I brought some water myself, so I survived my stay here. It was also not possible to book a table over the phone for lunch, which is weird. There was also a camera lady forcing us to take a picture. We said no, but she insisted on taking a photo and didn't tell us what she needed it for, we assumed it was for their Instagram. She even asked us to stand up and move more together while we just had received our food. We told her no, but she did not understand. After a while, she left, but she managed to take one picture of us while we were sitting down, and after lunch was over, she came back and asked if we wanted to buy a framed photo she had taken of us. We said no thanks. I'm happy I didn't go here in the evening because it would have completely ruined my evening. I don't recommend this place. More

There are a tables near the windows, but it's impossible to reserve these tables in advance. It's so strange, because if I book a table in advance I'd like to have a choice and garantee the table near the window with view to Moscow. Why... do I need a reservation at all? We booked a table and came to the restaraunt 30 min.later than the table was booked. Hostes said that our reservation was cancelled because of our late visit. They didn't call us and didn't ask us to confirm our visit. It's Moscow, a lot of traffic jams and it's impossible to be in time. And the last one- there is no table in non-smoking place. Many people smoke during the dinner and other guests have to smell this. The restaraunt should have tables for non-smoking people! There should be a choice! This restaraunt was much better when it was opened 2 years ago (I visited it in august 2011). Now it has become much worse! It seems like night club. not restaraunt. More

I went to this restaurant hoping for a nice Borsch with a good view of Moscow city, but was rather disappointed with the usher. Left me in the central area and there was no one who attended to me despite having been there for a... good 15 mins or so. I decided to leave the restaurant soon after. We've celebrated my wife's birthday there. I specifically mentioned this in the order and loudly declared this once more when we've arrived (it was Friday, 15.01.2016). No Birthday cake and/or song for us. I've specifically told the waiter once more before we've order the desert.... No result. Awful. Furthermore, we've being promised a discount on my premium (platinum) Mastercrad, but instead we've being over-charged for USD 50!!! Unfortunately we didn't keep the bill (check) - our mistake. My girlfriend and I decided to try out the "famous" sixty restaurants. Actually I could never complain about reatauranrs of the Ginza chain. Usually they would have friendly, more or less skilled and especially English speaking waiters. This general rule obviously does not apply on... Sixty. The restaurant itself is really beautiful, we liked the interior design, the view and just the overall setting. The waiters in there though are just worse than peasants. We had around 5 different waiters serving us, constantly switching and not knowing about what the other one is doing. Instead of sending an English speaking waiter to our table, we had someone not speaking a single word, just taking to my girlfriend in Russian, and not giving me the feeling of being involved in any way. There was not only a lack of language skills, but also a lack of any kind of education. This person was the worst waiter I have had for a while. I asked for extra wasabi when our sushi came and the wasabi arrived when the sushi was gone, the 2nd order of drinks arrived after we were done with dinner for a long time. He was not smiling, not charming, not good looking, not caring about his customers at all,b just overall the lowest performance of a waiter. I've been eating in a lot of high class restaurants all over the world and I am absolutely willing to pay a lot of money if I get a return on my investment. I feel myself capable to judge that sixty is just overrated and overpriced for what you get. The service is worth nothing at all. The food is just average with too high prices. The crowd visiting that place is almost as bad as the waiters. It is full of wannabe new rich thugs, who would not even be allowed to enter a restaurant in Paris the way they look and behave. Actually the dinner was fine. And we are normally good spenders. But: 1) the waiter tries to sell you the most expensive food and much much more than what you really can eat 2) we paid more than USD 240 per person and we asked... for a vodka after the bill and we had to pay again for it. 3) And, sincerely, Mr Novikov, is unacceptable to put a person who doesn’t speak english at the concierge. Pre-booked a table by the window to enjoy the view from 60th floor. Upon arrival the staff impolitely denied having made such a reservation. Very bad start of the evening. This is disappointing, since the view is really the main attraction here. Food is decent,... service is medium, despite plenty plenty of staff, and hence a somewhat overpriced experience. One can see that a lot of attention is paid on presentation. Starters were nice, but portions are merely samples. Fish was overcooked, decently presented. The wine list is short and grossly overpriced, which is - unfortunately - not unusual in Moscow. Overall, Sixty was a somewhat disappointing experience! More

Worst restaurant ever!!! Service was terrible, no English spoken and food never arrived!!! They didn't care about us at all because they didn't understand. Moscow has better places!!!

Bad and slow service, so so food, arrogant staffs. If you like a combination of these 3 qualities then step this way. To be considered only as a place to take photos and then leave immediately elsewhere. The staffs could not care less about quality... of services but are more than ready to check on the way you dress up for the occasion. My suggestion: order one drink, take photos and go elsewhere for real delicious dinner or lunch. Moscow has a lot more to offer than this place. More

Most of this has been said before on this site, but it's worth reiterating just how awful this place is. Yes, the view and the decor are great but the positives are far outweighed by the negatives. The door staff are spectacularly rude. It was... clear that even though we had a reservation they didn't think we were fabulous enough to eat there. Our waiter was totally inept. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks, our starters and mains all came together, and, after we sent out mains back because we wanted to eat our starters first, the same mains came back later on when we were ready for them, stone cold. They hadn't even bothered to reheat them. We sent them back again and complained to the manager. By way of an apology he brought us some free desserts - only we hadn't eaten our mains at that point. The whole evening was a total farce and not cheap either. This restaurant may not be extremely expensive by Moscow standards but for £100.00 a head the food simply isn't good enough and the service is unforgivable. AVOID! More

Nice location with perfect views to Moscow city and Moscow. What is bad you can not reserve by phone a table if want one to be close to windows. You have to reserve, visit them for deposit and then come again for dinner/lunch. The food... is average and Ginza has much simple locations with much more better food. So this is mainly a place to visit for views. More

CBP Announces Next Phase in Fight Targeting Criminals Funneling Fentanyl into American Communities

NOGALES , AZ – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) today announced that it will lead an expanded, multi-agency effort to target the transnational criminals funneling fentanyl from Mexico into American communities. Operation Plaza Spike targets the cartels that facilitate the flow of deadly fentanyl, as well as its analogs and precursors and tools to make the drugs. It is designed to disrupt operations in the “plazas,” cartel territories located directly south of the United States that are natural logistical chokepoints within the cartels’ operations. This is the next phase in CBP’s Strategy to Combat Fentanyl and Other Synthetic Drugs , a whole-of-government and international effort to anticipate, identify, mitigate, and disrupt illicit synthetic drug producers, suppliers, and traffickers.

Operation Plaza Spike will employ multiple tactics, including seizing illicit proceeds and scrutinizing related cross-border business entities and cross-border trade. Operation Plaza Spike includes releasing the name of the plazas’ senior ranking cartel officials, the “plaza bosses,” to increase public and law enforcement pressure on them. Plaza bosses control and profit from all illicit activity through the plaza – extortion, kidnapping, as well as the smuggling of humans, dangerous drugs, and firearms. CBP will leverage partnerships, authorities, and resources of other government agencies in our efforts to gather intelligence, disrupt and degrade illicit operations, and deliver legal consequences.

“So long as fentanyl and other illicit opioids wreak tragedy across American communities, the men and women of the Department of Homeland Security will remain unrelenting in their work stopping these deadly drugs from hitting our streets and taking lives,” said Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas. “Operation Plaza Spike is a critical step in our ongoing whole-of-Department campaign to directly attack the transnational criminal organizations that peddle narcotics, death, and destruction for profit. We are sparing no effort to dismantle cartels and ensure everyone from kingpins to plaza bosses are brought to justice.”

CBP’s first target is the Nogales Plaza, located directly south of the border crossing at Nogales, Arizona. Sergio Valenzuela Valenzuela, aka Gio, the Nogales Plaza boss, was indicted by a federal grand jury in 2018 for his role as a Sinaloa Cartel Plaza Boss .

“We are entering the next phase in our fight against fentanyl: one where we are going after the plaza bosses, whose organizations are responsible for virtually everything that is smuggled into the United States. By targeting them for enforcement action, we can directly impact their operations and ability to traffic fentanyl into the United States, which makes its way into communities all across the country,” said Troy A. Miller, CBP Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Commissioner. “Sergio Valenzuela Valenzuela is the first plaza boss that we target, but he won’t be the last. Just as the men and women of CBP are steadfast in the fight against fentanyl - will be unrelenting in our pursuit of those people and organizations that threaten the safety and security of our people and our country.”

Valenzuela Valenzuela and his organization allegedly are responsible for moving thousands of pounds of fentanyl to the U.S. border. Nearly every day, CBP officers intercept fentanyl headed from Valenzuela Valenzuela’s plaza northbound through CBP ports of entry onward to cities across the United States.

Operation Plaza Spike is just the latest effort by CBP, an agency of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as part of this Administration’s efforts to stem the flow illicit opioids, including fentanyl, and cracking down on the Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs) that traffic them. Through a whole-of-government effort, the Department has stopped more illicit fentanyl and arrested more individuals for fentanyl-related crimes in the last two fiscal years than in the previous five years combined.

CBP is also in the midst of Operation Apollo, and announced today that it will expand into Arizona to continue gathering and utilizing intelligence, and focusing on state and local partnerships to interdict fentanyl. Operation Apollo was launched by CBP in Southern California in October 2023 as a counter-fentanyl joint operation. CBP has evaluated the successes and lessons learned from Operation Apollo, and Operation Apollo – Arizona is now replicating it within the Arizona corridor, integrating all local law enforcement resources in Arizona to interdict finished fentanyl products, illicit precursor chemicals, adulterants, pill press equipment, illicit proceeds, and weapons.

In addition to CBP’s efforts to target operations that move fentanyl north, as well as guns south, CBP will be leveraging partnerships, authorities, and resources of other government agencies.

In 2023, DEA seized a record 79.5 million fentanyl pills and nearly 12,000 pounds of fentanyl powder. Throughout Arizona the DEA Phoenix Field Division seized more than 42 million fentanyl pills last year.

“Fentanyl is the deadliest drug threat our nation has ever faced. The men and women of DEA are relentlessly focused on saving lives by defeating the two cartels responsible for the majority of fentanyl and methamphetamine poisoning our communities – the Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels.” said DEA Administrator Anne Milgram . “DEA proactively investigates cartel members and associates, like Sergio Valenzuela Valenzuela, who allegedly oversee the transportation and distribution of these deadly drugs while interagency partners, like U.S. Customs and Border Protection, interdict shipments at the border before they enter our country. These partnerships ensure those responsible face justice for their crimes.”

As a collaborative partner, HSI will leverage its abilities, ample customs authorities, and investigative capabilities to continue to look at the TCOs supply and distribution chains, while taking dangerous, destructive, and deadly drugs off our streets together with the violence that comes with the illicit activities of these criminal enterprises. HSI Arizona has dedicated groups of special agents assigned to combat drug and human smuggling as well as southbound weapons and bulk cash smuggling.

“HSI stands at the ready to continue dedicating our resources, unique customs authorities and investigative capabilities toward joining our federal partners in not only disrupting the trafficking of lethal drugs into our country but capturing and prosecuting the plaza bosses who profit from poisoning our communities,” said HSI Countering Transnational Organized Crime Assistant Director Ricardo Mayoral . “We will leverage the combined strength of our partnered efforts to relentlessly pursue, disrupt and dismantle one of the most prolific and violent cartels in the world.”

With the launch of its updated Fentanyl Strategy CBP Strategy to Combat Fentanyl and Other Synthetic Drugs Report in fall 2023, CBP has continued to look at innovative ways to stop fentanyl trafficking. The agency continues to utilize its unique authorities and resources as the nation’s border security agency to lead the whole-of-government approach to dismantling the means and methods of the production and distribution of fentanyl and other synthetic opioids, in addition to its historic target of interdicting narcotics at the border of the United States.

CBP officials have previously targeted fentanyl interdictions along the southwest border of the United States during Operation Blue Lotus, Four Horsemen, and Rolling Wave as well as precursors and production materials used to make fentanyl during Operation Artemis . With this latest operation, CBP is utilizing another avenue to disrupt the networks that create and distribute these drugs.
