CLUB CRAWL DETAILS & TIPS

• Locations: Las Vegas nightclubs, Las Vegas dayclubs
• Tour length: 60 to 300 minutes

CLUB CRAWL DESCRIPTION

Anyone who's anyone knows that when you're in Vegas, you want to party -- not waste your time standing in line. That's where the Club Crawl comes in handy. With a ton of party packages to choose from, you can pick the crawl that works best for your level of crazy, from one to five nightclubs, bars, lounges or dayclubs. All itineraries depend on the crawl you choose and the night you attend.

Forget long waits, cover charges or tipping the extremely large doorman. With these tours, your VIP host will whisk you past the velvet ropes and to the front of the line at some of the nightclubs on the Las Vegas Strip. They may include Drai's, Jewel, LAX, 1 Oak, Hakkasan, Bank, Omnia, Chateau and more.

And because some of the best nightlife in Vegas happens when the sun is still up, you can choose from dayclub crawls in the summertime. A great way to cool off and get in some much needed day drinking, the 5-Day Pool Party Pass gives you complimentary admission into a pool clubs over multiple days. Some of the dayclubs in Sin City like Wet Republic, Daylight, Liquid, Azure, Drai's, Venus and more. 

Nightclubs not your thing? No problem. With the VIP Party Crawl packages, you’ll hit four bars, lounges or party venues like Double Barrel, Diablo's, Tom’s Urban, Coyote Ugly, 1923 Bourbon Bar, Rí Rá, Nine Fine Irishmen, Dick's Last Resort, House of Blues and more. And because you’re a VIP, you won’t have to pay full price for your drinks.

While there are walking crawls, some of the club crawl packages include transportation between your chosen hotspots. You know what that means: the party doesn’t stop because you’re on the road. The limo-style party bus has been dubbed a nightclub on wheels with complimentary drinks, stripper pole, music, video and a dance floor that’ll sweep you from one Las Vegas club party to another.

The only problem is they never call. We planned this for our last night in Vegas, so we would have a lasting memory, only we have a lasting memory of a company who never calls back. Shame on you! Very upsetting. I noticed that the positive reviews come from a year ago or more. Perhaps this is a COVID-19 problem. It is easier to answer your phone and reduce your upset customers or even update your voicemail, but nothing indicates anything is wrong, delayed or postponed. The girls and I spent a good amount of time getting ready (its a bachelorette party in vegas afterall), walked over to our first meeting point (rushed in HEELS), only to be met by a representative who only THEN told us that it had been cancelled. The reasoning for the cancellation I completely understand and even appreciate them not putting us at risk. But th e lack of communication was completely unacceptable. The representative said they had sent out emails that day, but none of us had received one to which he said “sorry we have so many people to take care of”. At the end of the day, there are SO many club tour options in Vegas, there's no reason to ever give this one a second chance or recommend to anyone. Just go with another one! … – show 0 0 Reply

I was worried at first that there would be no hip hop but he gave us plenty. We went to multiple clubs and we had the most fun at hakasan. Las Vegas Clubs Review

I see around the interwebs people asking about Vegas lifestyle clubs.  I go often and finally got to check out a few.  I thought I would share my impressions of the ones I have frequented.  I’ll update this blog as I attend more.  (Updated June 2023)

Whispers:  I just happened to meet one of the owners in a non-LS Vegas group, and we found out we were both in the LS business.  After dinner at Jean Gorge in Aria she took me to see her club. 

Whispers: Whispers is located really close to the strip.  Between Silverton Casino and Aligent Stadium the Raiders play in.  It’s a smaller house but with a ton of different rooms, lots of parking and a very nice size pool.  This is the big draw of the club as every party is a pool party.  The host couple were very nice. I talked shop with the hubby while wifey did the usual hostess duties (Talking and flashing her tits) The hubby set up a DJ play set. I think he actually DJs on busier nights.  This was 4th of July about 11PM they were packed all day and things were beginning to wind down.  The music was good at a good volume to dance in the house or relax by the pool. 

I had a really nice time there.  We talked shop while watching fireworks from the strip as a couple of ladies performed oral hijinks next to us.  I need more business meetings like this.  I would classify the clientele as normal regular people with average looks and age.   I would for sure hang out here in the summer even if not playing. Just enjoy the eye candy around the pool.  They do not allow single men and cost fluctuates for a couple between 30-50.  BYOL you give up your bottle to the bartender upon arrival and she pours your drink for you. 

The biggest drawback I saw was the house for sure could use some TLC. I wouldn’t classify it as dirty by any means but I wouldn’t call it “nice” either.  Unique would be a good word for it.   The host couple that runs it does so for free.  With this many events and the size of the house it’s more than a full-time job.  It’s also my understanding there are some litigation issues.  The main owner doesn’t want to drop more money than necessary into the facility until he’s sure he’s going to be able to keep it open as a LS club.  He’s a doctor with multiple interests and as long as the club is profitable, he doesn’t put more into it then he has to.  So much potential here to be an amazing space.

Purrfect LV:   Wednesday night I checked out Purrfect LV. It’s in a hotel suite directly across from the new Virgin casino that used to be Hard Rock.  It markets itself as a higher end club for beautiful people and charges a more premium price.   My single male ticket was about 150 for a Wednesday night.  Events are sold out at 50 people. 

The suite the events are held in is very small.  I don’t think there are many people reading this that came to my old club that had the 2-story naughty room, but if you did this is very similar to that.  Except what was one section for us is their whole club.  They have the same issue I did as well in that those AC units are not designed to cool that space full of bodies.  So, it was very warm and very crowded with only about 15 people in there.  For comparison the old westside Syn Naughty Room was about 1000 sq feet with another 400 on the patio.   The hotel website lists this suite at 700 sq feet. 

 The hostess (Maddie I believe) was very beautiful and very nice.  She was very interactive and ran icebreaker games to get everyone to mingle.  We talked shop a bit.  She kept asking if I was planning to play.  I told her I wasn’t, I was just checking things out.  She asked so many times I asked her if she wanted me to leave if I wasn’t planning on participating.  She said no she just wanted to make sure not to send anyone my way if I wasn’t planning on playing as they had a few single ladies.  So, she is very active and not a passive host as well.  Gave me a tour at the beginning and was very friendly. 

I left as everyone started getting naked.  I didn’t want everyone to start playing and be that single male that’s just standing there.  While talking shop I was able to ask professionally if she ever took off her clothes.  She said no. If she said yes, I probably would have hung out to see as she was very attractive.

The clientele for the most part were the beautiful people.   At around 70.00 a couple if you are above average in looks and want someone on your level might be a good spot for you.   You might want to take the party elsewhere if you make a connection but all you need is one.  BYOL with no bartender.  They sell soda and water for 2.00 a bottle.

The Green Door: I had checked out the Green Door about 20 years ago with an ex.   Me and Tiff were in Vegas and they are open on a Wednesday so we decided to check them out for an updated feel.  It didn’t change much.  

We went on a Wednesday so I fully expected it to be slow.  The door guy actually told us it was slow and we were the only couple there.  Which is cool, but at the same time how do you expect to get more couples if you tell them that?  It was fine for us as we were just there to check it out to play with each other.  

The website seems to be different from what the staff does.  The cost was supposed to be 60 and they charged 69.  (Pain in the butt number to make a juvenile joke) and the website says they stay open till 5, but they close at 4.

The club is 18 and up.  No outside beverages allowed at all.  They have 2 bars next to them you can go to for your adult beverages.  They charge for water and soft drinks.  They also charge if you need a towel.  

The staff was friendly enough.  It was all men and I guess on busier nights they have one kid doing tours.  He was working at one of the bars and gave us a run down from behind the bar. 

The place is very dark and they had a few odd things.  Several stripper poles but most of them had carpet for the flooring.  They also had a line of toilets, urinals and a women’s only bidet just right in the middle of a room.  They had a couple of couples only areas that had almost a one way screen so the guys could watch.  You can kinda tell you’re being watched but not really.   

They also played all hispanic music but there were no hispanics in the club.  Staff or customers.  There was no mention of there being a “theme”  where that would be the only music played.  

The bed areas are platforms with a vinyl cover on them.  The tops are slightly padded but still pretty hard.  I understand going this method as cleaning up would be much simpler than how we do it.  It doesn’t look bad, just not really comfortable.  No one played while we were there so I don’t know how clean up works.   We did see one guy wiping down  a couch.    Everything is designed to be wiped down pretty easily.  

They had a couple of things I really like and would implement something similar if I get the opportunity.   One was a giant platform that was about 4 king beds size put together.  This was the gang bang room.  I’ve often thought about implementing a giant play pit in Syn if the right space becomes available. 

Also they were very adamant that photos not be taken.  However they did have a space where you could play and they would film you.  In return you sign a waiver saying they can put it on the website and they played it in the club.  I liked this because it wasn’t just random porn it was real people that came to the club.  

Tiff had a toy in that I could control with my phone so we sat there and relaxed a little while she purred away.  It became clear that the majority of the filming was mainly between two women and one guy.  They just cycled through different scenes.  

The way Syn is now set up I am seriously considering the idea of having a live feed from the group room and\or the Showtime room into the main room.  It wouldn’t be recording but just be a live feed so more can watch.  

I had Tiff start to perform oral and this is where the main drawback of Green Door comes into play.

When I went 20 years ago they had a rule that single men couldn’t be within 3 feet of a couple.  So they would literally follow us around with the pants down, jerking off.  It got comical if you ever stopped and changed direction.  They had their pants down and their dicks in their hands and didn’t know where to go.  

They seem to have gotten rid of the 3 foot rule and now they just swarm you.  You go into the couples area and they all crowd around the peep hole even if you’re just sitting there.  They follow you around and if you stop even fully clothed they start stroking themselves.  

While Tiff was servicing me they surrounded us like a circle jerk and guys were literally moaning in my ear while they stroked their cocks.  I could have told them all to back off but we were ready to go anyway.  As we headed out some more people started coming in.  It was about 1am when we left out.  

When I visited 20 years ago is when I decided we will never let guys self love in any of my clubs.  Dealing with clueless solo dudes is one of the more challenging aspects of running a  club that is single male friendly.  The dudes for the most part were decent looking.  So if that is your thing it absolutely would be a good place for you.  

Overall the place seemed clean enough.  The dark and the dudes gave it a bit of a sleazy vibe but if that’s your mood that can be hot as well.  

Green Door Las Vegas

Red Rooster:   Rooster is the oldest LS club in Vegas.  Facility wise I really liked it.  Nice big clean house with a group room and a play room single males not allowed in.  Hot tub, lockers and such.  Like most places had a volunteer bartender that took your bottle and poured your drink from it.  They had a middle aged DJ playing typical middle age swinger songs (My neck, my back, Pony, Wasn’t Me) in a fashion that sounded like a car crash from one track to the other.  No line dances at all which surprised me.  The newest track he played was Tennessee Whisky other than that I did not hear any post 2005 tracks at all. 

While I didn’t care for the style of the decor everything was nice and they obviously put effort into it.  Price was a very reasonable 60.00 for a single male, but the club is quite a way from the Strip.  My main issue with Rooster is the staff.  The door guy took my money and didn’t care about anything after that, and the volunteer bartender wasn’t helpful either.  No welcome warm up, tour or rules rundown at all; they just take your money and release you into the wild.  They also had cheesy porn playing on the TV’s which just screams sleazy to me. 

Very diverse crowd.  All races were well represented here.  All couples with a few of us single dude sitting around not sure what to do.  Crowd wasn’t friendly at all though there was very little mingling.  I would classify the looks of the crowd as average to below average. 

DJ Train Wreck kept talking over the music about how the music stops at 1 so everyone better start hooking up.  I assume that means they close at 1 on Thursdays. 

With some sexy décor, helpful staff and a DJ that doesn’t sound like a trash compactor this place could really be amazing.   They are just riding the fumes of being well known in Vegas and not giving a lot of effort.

 5150: Formally known as the Studios.  Hard to get info on this club.  Most everyone says some version of “Tranny friendly.” 

Overall, I was disappointed in the clubs in Vegas.  We are spoiled here in OK as we have some nice ones that I would consider better than what’s out there.

‘I like the silly things’: New concert club opens in downtown Las Vegas

The 300-capacity Sinwave fills a live music void in the Arts District with an anything’s-possible ethos.

Namaste and … Cannibal Corpse? Rolls off the tongue like honey and battery acid, doesn’t it?

It’s a Wednesday afternoon in late March, and Martin Boynton is spitballing a new idea for his new venue: death metal yoga.

Hear him out.

At first blush, the idea of pairing a physical exercise posited on mindfulness with blast beats and guttural vocals suggestive of an orc attempting to pass a kidney stone may sound a little far-fetched.

And, indeed, Boynton just thought of the concept off the top of his head as an example of the anything’s-possible ethos of the room where he’s standing, just-opened concert club Sinwave.

“We’ve got endless ideas,” Boynton notes, “and I know people in town have endless ideas and want to see their silly things come to fruition — and I like the silly things. Come at me with something that no one else will do. We really want to hear people’s ideas and want to entertain them if it sounds interesting and fun.”

A multipurpose venue

“Interesting” and “fun” — those are two telling, operative words that Boynton frequently employs when distilling the essence of what Sinwave is all about, what the place means to him and his partners, among them Blake Attebury, owner of the nearby Sinister Salon.

At its core, Sinwave (1412 S. Main St.; sinwavevegas.com) is a 300-capacity concert club in the downtown Arts District that’s already hosted a sold-out show by Texas deathcore quartet Upon a Burning Body and whose event calendar is growing real full, real fast with acts ranging from hip-hop (Shaggy 2 Dope, May 18; MC Chris, June 14) to crossover thrash (D.R.I., May 26) to Latin metal (Ill Nino, June 11) to post-hardcore (I Set My Friends on Fire, April 21) to numerous goth nights.

“It’s filling a major void in the area,” says Patrick “Pulsar” Trout, a longtime Vegas concert promoter who’s already booked several shows at Sinwave. “There are venues that are willing to host heavier bands on occasion, but having a room that is tailor-made for those genres is an absolute game-changer.”

Boynton, a lifelong musician whose metal band Short Fuse has been going for over 20 years strong, also wants Sinwave to be a multipurpose venue where fellow creatives can display art, host a dance or go-go class, maybe DJ one night, just explore whatever idea they might have, no matter how far out it may be.

“We’re all musicians, we’re all artists and we’re building things that we just want to see for ourselves,” he explains. “It’s just having a home where me and my friends can put our creativity and invite inspiration from the community and have us all inspire each other, really.”

For musicians, by musicians

Dressed head to toe in black, Boynton is almost indivisible from the similarly colored walls that surround him — though they won’t be barren for long.

“This is still a shell of what it’s going to be when there’s art everywhere, there’s projectors, and we start sprucing it up a lot more,” he notes. “But it feels good. It doesn’t feel corporate. It feels like a friendly, more underground kind of vibe.”

Boynton is leading us on a tour of the two-room venue, which opens to a bar and cozy hang spot with a large black couch. Through a doorway is the performance hall, outfitted with a large stage and an adjacent green room.

For a smaller venue like Sinwave, having a lounge area for bands to relax before and after shows can be a rarity.

Boynton would know: He’s spent plenty of time on the road with Short Fuse over the past two decades.

“My friend was saying, ‘Man, how happy are we as a band to just have somewhere to sit backstage, even if it’s boxes,’ ” Boynton recalls of a conversation with one of his bandmates. “We’ve toured for a while, so I know what I’ve liked and what I disliked.”

‘I want community’

A Bay Area transplant and former web developer, Boynton moved to Vegas a few years back, inspired to do so by a buddy who had relocated to town, as well as Boynton’s girlfriend, whom he met here.

Sinwave is Boynton’s first business, and Attebury found the spot last spring — it was formerly Tatyana vintage clothing boutique.

Construction started in October on the venue, its name a play on “sine wave,” an acoustically pure tone in sonic terms. (Boynton initially wanted to call the place The Slutty Frog but was talked out of it. He’d settle for a drink on the club’s cocktail menu bearing the name instead.)

Sinwave will be open seven days a week, with Boynton noting that there could be karaoke and movie nights, among other themed events, to round out the club’s show schedule.

As for that death metal yoga?

The only thing certain about this business is that it won’t be business as usual.

“I never thought I’d own a business before,” Boynton acknowledges. “I don’t think like a businessman. I just think about what I want.

“I want community,” he continues, “and I want cool (stuff) to happen.”
