DESCRIPTION:

Day 1:  Round trip home transportation provided. Board Icelandair for passage to Iceland.

Day 2:  Visit a Viking History Museum and stop at a geothermal power station to learn about green energy. Begin our Northern Lights educational program with an expert guide's seminar on the Lights. Later, soak in the hotel's outdoor hot tubs and enjoy a sky-light spectacular show known as the Aurora Borealis (weather permitting).

Day 3:  Visit the Volcano and Earthquake Center to learn about the epic forces of nature that shape our planet and created Iceland 20 million years ago. Visit a black lava beach and an Icelandic wool factory and outlet store. Stop at the Skogafoss waterfall. After dinner, continue our Northern Lights educational program with a video presentation.

Day 4: Depart for Pingvellir National Park. Continue to Gullfoss and the Guyser geothermalfields with hot springs and bubbling pools. Visit seashore villages, taste shark meat, dried fish and Brennivin snaps. Enjoy a langoustine dinner in a seaside village restaurant followed by an outside watch for the magical Northern Lights.

Day 5:  Today, Iceland awaits! Enjoy a city tour of Reykjavik. Meet the Icelandic horse. Boil an egg in a hot spring and taste bread baked with hot steam. Visit a man made ice cave. 

Day 6:  Explore the Reykjanes peninsula and experience the unusual geological features: bird cliffs, moon-like landscapes, light houses and fishing villages. A wonderful lunch is shared to end our day. An optional visit to the Blue Lagoon for a long soak in its warm geothermal water is available for a fee. (Includes silica mud mask, use of towel and drink of your choice.)  

Day 7:  Leisurely morning in Reykavik for exploration on your own and evening flight to US.

Full Guide to 'Star Wars' Season of the Force 2024 at Disneyland Resort

C elebrate “Star Wars” during Season of the Force at Disneyland Resort. The special event runs from April 2 through June 2, 2024, to honor Star Wars Day on May the 4th.

‘Star Wars’ Season of the Force 2024 Table of Contents

“Fire of the Rising Moons” is a new fireworks show visible from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The show is actually a special view of the park’s bigger nighttime spectacular but with “Star Wars” music and an introduction from a character called the Lore Weaver. It debuted on April 5 and will continue after Season of the Force ends, adapting to different seasonal spectaculars.

Star Tours at Disneyland Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disneyland Paris debuted new scenes on April 5, coinciding with Season of the Force. The scenes feature characters and elements from “Ahsoka,” “The Mandalorian,” and “Andor.” Watch all the new scenes (as seen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios) below.

Like “Fire of the Rising Moons,” the Star Tours updates will stick around after Season of the Force ends.

Space Mountain becomes Hyperspace Mountain for Season of the Force. The track and layout of Space Mountain remain the same but the visuals and audio are different, featuring John Williams’ “Star Wars” score, TIE Fighters, and more. There are also “Star Wars” elements in the queue. Watch our 2022 video below.

This self-guided scavenger hunt is free to guests through June 6 or while supplies last. Pick up a “map” at Star Trader in Tomorrowland, then search Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for six cylinders featuring parts of a code. After noting the symbols on the cylinders, you’ll decrypt a codeword using signs throughout Tomorrowland before returning to Star Trader to receive a prize. Read more about the seek and find .

Sabine Wren from “Star Wars Rebels” and “Ahsoka” is appearing in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for a limited time .

The BD-X roaming droids playtested in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge last year are appearing regularly for Season of the Force.

A new Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot for Season of the Force allows guests to search for Din Djarin, Grogu, and others using a holopuck. This is in addition to previously available Star Wars Magic Shots and PhotoPass Lenses.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is offering the returning Dewback Chili Noodles and new Fried Chicken Baos .

Kat Saka’s Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has the plant-based Celto Slush horchata . The Milk Stand offers the Toydaria Swirl with Green Milk. Ronto Roasters has the Pasaana Punch .

Oga’s Cantina revived drinks and souvenir glasses previously found aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World.

Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland has the following new and returning items for Season of the Force: Bantha Burger (new), Watermelon Slush with Death Star Glow Cube (new), Chorizo Loaded Fries, Wookiee Parfait, and Granny Smith Apple Slush with Millennium Falcon Glow Cube .

The Grand Californian Great Hall Cart is offering “Star Wars” treats including a new macaron box, sugar cookies, Wookiee Cookies, Pretzel Lightsabers, tropical whoopie pies, and milk chocolate lollipops.

At GCH Craftsman Bar and Hearthstone Lounge is the new Bitter Martini: Hendrick’s Gin, Campari Liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and green grapes.

The Great Hall of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is displaying an edible Black Spire Outpost creation through May 31.

The new talking Jabba the Hutt Bucket is available at Galactic Grill and the popcorn cart near Star Trader.

A Darth Vader stainless steel tumbler is available at Galactic Grill, the Tomorrowland Fruit Cart, and GCH Craftsman Grill.

The Salvaged Stormtrooper Helmet Bucket will be available beginning on May the 4th at Galactic Grill, Kat Saka’s Kettle, beverage carts in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and the popcorn cart near Star Trader.

Also coming on May the 4th is the Grinning Loth-cat Souvenir Mug , which will be at Oga’s Cantina.

The Sap Tap Cup will be available at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Galactic Grill, and Ronto Roasters starting on Star Wars Day.

The new “Star Wars” Artist Series by Will Gay includes apparel and housewares. Gay’s artwork features some of the franchise’s classic characters, like Darth Vader holding a Death Star balloon and Ewoks playing Stormtrooper helmet drums.

In honor of the Star Tours updates, Disneyland has a small collection of new Star Tours merchandise , including a jacket inspired by the attraction’s Cast Member costume.

The build-your-own Lightsaber experience was overhauled with all new parts .

Actual Star Wars Day merchandise will be released on May the 4th but is already available online from Disney Store .

A new Darth Maul lightsaber and more merchandise inspired by “The Phantom Menace” will also be available for the film’s 25th anniversary.

This event takes place on the following nights from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.: April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, May 2, 7, and 9. Tickets start at $159.

Guests attending Star Wars Nite get after-hours access to Disneyland Park, which has exclusive character sightings, menu selections, photo ops, and entertainment:

• Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade – A Star Wars Nite Costume (Cosplay) Showcase: Dress as your favorite Star Wars character and participate in a sensational celebration of your fandom. Read the Disneyland Resort costume guidelines for restrictions.
• Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes: Fresh off their gig at Mos Eisley, the famous Cantina Band will take a quick trip around the Rivers of America, playing their most iconic piece of music.
• Galactic DJ Party Zone: Dance the night away when a DJ kicks off a galactic celebration on Main Street, U.S.A.!
• Lightsaber Instructional: Attend a demonstration of lightsaber skills and learn how to wield a lightsaber from an elite instructor.
• Lightsaber Meet-Up with Rey: Bring your lightsaber to the Millennium Falcon and participate in a powerful show of unity.
• March of the First Order Featuring Captain Phasma: The First Order is searching for a Resistance spy in Tomorrowland—and any opposition will not be taken lightly.
• Fond Farewell: As the galactic festivities come to a close, bid a fond farewell to your Disney pals Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as you pass by the Main Street, U.S.A. train station.
