Stop 1 Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral

Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon is a cathedral located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established by French colonists who initially named it Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saïgon, the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet). Please note that we will only pass by the Notre Dame, because the cathedral is under construction until 2027 .

Saigon Central Post Office was built in the 1880s based on the design of Gustave Eiffel – a famous French architect. It was once the top of mind places for people in Saigon to send things abroad. Many years have past, the building remains stunning with awesome French architecture

The War Remnants Museum was originally opened in September 1975, it displays old military equipment and other related items from the Vietnam War.  In the courtyard we will find some larger exhibits including a F5A fighter and a UH1-Huey helicopter

The bus will go around the city without stopping. This is not a hop-on, hop-off tour. 

Customers must print or take a screenshot of booking confirmation email and show it to the staff on any of the buses.

Children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult

During Tet, due to some roads being closed for the City&apos;s festival, there will be some changes to the city tour route or skip a few stops. This may affect the audio commentary on the bus. However, we are doing our best to bring the best experience to our customers.

I enjoyed the 7 day Vietnam tour, glad I spent an extra day in Hanoi on my own, as Hanoi city tour was not included. Tin Tin was an amazing guide in Ho Chi Minh City. I especially like the fact that with the local agencies we seem to pick up different people on different tour schedules each day. It makes it really fun to meet new people every day. One day I was alone on my mountain retreat overnight stay and was able to practice Vietnamese and listen to fun music with the driver during our 2 hour trip back to Hanoi. Like a private tour!! A few small glitches, but overall I consider TourRadar an amazing budget travel company. I just signed up for my 3rd tour with them to Japan.

Very enjoyable tour, exceptionally well led and organised, and managed to see and do a lot in the time we were there. Great food. The itinerary is quite compact, if it were up to me they’d skip Nha Trang and spend more time in Hanoi or include a day trip to Ninh Binh.

Vietnam South to North Good tour well run. Favorite spots Hoi An and Halong Bay. One big city was enough for us, Hanoi not so appealing.

Vietnam Express Northbound

The tour was great. The only issue I had was the trip notes were incorrect The joining instructions said one hotel however that was wrong and I was referred to another hotel where that was cancelled. My initial thought was that this was a scam and then I rang the emergency number and they gave me the right hotel This meant that I missed out on the welcome dinner and information I had to get from other guests. Other than that the tour was fantastic and I will make sure I go back and spend more times in specific places

Jelly made every step of the journey so so easy! From getting us to know each other straight away with a treasure hunt in Ho Chi Minh City to getting to know each of our interests and dietary needs so she could make it the best experience possible. The way she personalised each of the daily itineraries made us even more excited for what was to come. Whenever she didn't know something we asked, Jelly made it her business to find someone who did! Jelly is such a nice person that even when the trip was over, our friendship continued. When Jelly herself came to Ireland, we met up in Dublin! And because of her skills in getting a big group to mingle, I am writing this review from South Africa right now as I am visiting a friend I made on Jelly's Vietnam trip!
