Hurghada Jeep Safari Itinerary

On the day of your Hurghada jeep safari, one of our tour representatives will meet you at your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna. You will then head out into the desert in a modern air-conditioned 4×4 jeep. This trip will cover a distance of roughly 35 kilometers. The route you will follow between the mountains of the Sinai desert is truly amazing and your guide/driver will be happy to stop whenever you want to take photographs.

During your trip in the desert, you will also stop place where you will have the chance to see mirage. Seeing a mirage is nothing out of the ordinary for those who live in the desert, it never fails to astonish those who have never witnessed this before. When you see a mirage for the first time, you can’t help thinking that your eyes are deceiving you.

Your Hurghada jeep safari will eventually lead you to an area where you will meet up some local Bedouin. Spend some time riding around in the desert on a camel, and then it will be time for some quad biking around a Bedouin village. Quad biking in the desert is an amazing experience that gives you a wonderful sense of freedom.

Witness an absolutely breathtaking desert sunset on your quad bike, and then it will be time to for you to join some local Bedouin in the village for a delicious BBQ dinner. Enjoy your authentic Bedouin dinner. Bottled water and soft drinks will be provided with your dinner. We will pick you up from your hotel around 2:30 pm, drive approximately 30 minutes into the desert where you will start your trip. You will start off with a 20 minutes Camel Ride in and around the Desert Mountains. After that you will sit in a Bedouin tent where you will be welcomed by the Bedouins to have the original Bedouin tea, and you may sit around a camp fire to watch the Bedouins making the Bedouin bread, with the opportunity to make one for your own.

Your tour guide will give you some interesting information about Bedouins, their life, their camels, how to they live simply in the desert whilst sitting in the tent. View the stunning, natural landscape of the desert as you watch the sunset disappear behind the mountains.

You will then be served a wonderful candle lit fireside dinner in a genuine Bedouin tent to enjoy under the stars. Also if you wish you have the chance to enjoy smoking a shisha “Water Pipe” during the show “at extra charge”. After the show you will have the opportunity to enjoy the complete dark sky. Before being returned to your hotel your guide will take you out into the dark desert to take a look at some constellations, Polar Star, Ursa Minor & Ursa Major, and give you some interesting information about the stars, planets, moon and some constellations.

Now time to experience the brilliance of our galaxy full of stars and planets without the light pollution of the city through our powerful telescopes, and learn about the constellations, stars and planets from our professionally trained astronomical guides. Then you take it in turns to look through a telescope to see the different planets and skies. It really is an amazing experience.

Your adventure in the desert for the whole day will begin with the fact that you will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada and taken by jeep to the Sahara Park. Stop along the way to see a mirage and climb a sand dune. Upon arrival at the Bedouin village, you will be greeted with a drink and a packed lunch. You will have plenty of time to explore the village and learn about the traditional Bedouin life. You will also ride a camel! Enjoy the sunset view from the mountain, as well as a Bedouin buffet dinner. After dinner, you will enjoy an evening show in the Sahara Park, which includes a tanura and belly dance performance, as well as a fire show. go back to the hotel.

En route, we will make a stop at an oasis known as Sacred Oasis, where you can witness a flowing water source. We will also visit a nearby nomadic family. It is said that only about 20 families are capable of sustaining themselves living in the desert.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the campsite in Erg Chegaga, where the hosts will serve lunch. The rest of the afternoon will be dedicated to relaxation and exploring the desert. Alternatively, the excursion can be organized as wild camping, meaning the guides will set up a wilderness camp and prepare meals.

You will witness an unforgettable sunset spectacle – people from around the world come here for this view. Part of the journey to the highest dune will be on a camel, and then you’ll climb to the summit. It’s a time for discovery, relaxation, and capturing the beauty of the surroundings.
