Absolutely perfect trip thanks to Vincent

Absolutely perfect trip thanks to our guide Vincent. We don't usually like tours and tend to avoid them but after having Vincent as our guide we have changed our minds. His gorgeous big smile, kind, gentle personality and his ability to listen to how we wanted to spend our time meant he was able to make it better than we could have ever imagined. He is also a fabulous driver on very tricky roads, we always felt very safe. We know that anyone lucky enough to have Vincent as their guide is guaranteed to have the best trip of their lives. We wish him all the best for the future and hope to be lucky enough one day to have him guide us on our travels again.

Great travel agency-highly recommend

We booked a tour to Uganda through a local travel agency, and we did not regret it! Everything ran smoothly and the program was nicely tailored to exactly what we had requested. Our guide, Vincent, was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and kept us on track throughout our stay. We cannot recommend Let’s Go Travel enough, and we will surely book through this agency again, when we return to Uganda.

Fantastic country Uganda

I booked a trip to Uganda through Naturetrek and their local agent was Lets Go Travel who supplied the guide Jude Ainomugisha. The company had everything very well organised with great food and accommodation. A guide can make or break a trip and Jude was one of the best guides I have come across on my extensive travels. He has a superb knowledge, pleasant, calm manner, good driver and good organisational skills. Uganda is a wonderful country with friendly people and so much to see with many different habitats to explore. Gorillas, chimpanzees, different species of monkeys, lots of birds, elephants, hippos, antelopes etc. I felt safe at all times. Think about going to Uganda, Lets go Travel did a marvellous job and Jude the guide was outstanding.

Extremely satisfied!

We were extremely happy with the organisation of our tour with Let's Go. Our guide was fantastic, the car was very comfortable. The choice of accommodation was top quality. The itinerary was well planned and clearly communicated in advance. We went on a Gorilla safari so the permits had to be purchased in advanced. This was done by Let's Go and worked out very well. We had to change our itinerary a couple of times due to scheduling issues from our side, and Let's go revised and sent us new planning to fit our needs. We would not hesitate to recommend to anybody looking to visit Uganda.

The best trip we ever have done

The people are really kind and friendly. There is a whole range of wildlife. We have seen everything:elephants, crocodiles, hipo's, hyena's, lions,wild-hogs, all sort of antilopes, shoebill, leopard,all sort of birds, rhino's, buffalo's,gorillas from nearby, chimps,bavoons and many other monkeys. We had the best guide and driver we ever had. Always in time, courteous.We have seen the whole range of wild-life thanks to his knowledge. We always saw everything when other drove two days without seeing much. He took really care of us : we had the best places on the river-boat.Ismail was the guide and driver where you are dreaming of hoping for. And yet we visited all ready two times Tanzania, Kenia, Ecuador and Galapagos, Mexico. Ismail was the best. The accommodations(the lodges)were perfect. The food excellent.

Uganda Safari : Paraa

Enjoyed Kibale park

Fabulous bird guide Jude

I was a little sceptical at first, since the email that replied to my initial enquiry came from Marinka Sanc-George at Let’s Go Safari Uganda , who handed me over to Charles Talemwa at the same email address. Was this the same Company as Let’s Go Travel? Further confusion was added when the receipt for the down payment came from BCD Travel, whoever they are! However, any lingering doubts were dispelled when, on arrival at Entebbe airport, a charming lady was there to greet us as soon as we got off the plane. She helped us through all the procedures, including purchase of SIM card and verifying that we had got what we paid for, then handed us over to another lady who took us to our guide, Jude, who was waiting at the vehicle. The rest of our trip ran equally as smoothly, without a single hiccup. We had requested a guide/driver who knows about birds and we got him! We have never had a better bird guide than Jude, whose ability to identify any birds on the wing or by song was exceptional. His constant enthusiasm was infectious and wherever we went he seemed to know many of the local people, many of whom were truly delighted to see him again, presumably because of a long forced absence due to covid restrictions. Apart from birds, he gave interesting comments about local geography, traditions etc. Jude is very reassuring and we always felt totally safe in his hands. He is also a very good driver, which isn’t always the case with bird guides. A word for Charles Talemwa, who was always quick to reply to our questions and never pressured us in any way. So, a wholehearted recommendation for Let’s Go Travel.

Stunning Country Uganda

Let's Go Travel was the local agent, who organised our group trip to Uganda. Our Guide was Jude Ainomugisha. This turned out to be a fantastic trip with so many different habitats, rainforest, savannah, wooded areas, swamp, boat trips. A guide can make or break a trip and Jude was one of the best with a fantastic knowledge of bird song and bird identification as well as the mammals. He was a calm, patient individual with enthusiasm for his country. We saw so much - gorillas, chimps, other monkeys, elephants, lions in trees, shoebills at the swamp area, baby hippos, antelope and lots of birds. Let's Go Travel did a marvellous job of organising everything and I would contact then and use them for any future trips.

Our travel agent booked us with Uganda Let's Go Travel and it made all the difference to our trip. Our guide, Richard, was EXCEPTIONAL!!! His knowledge of the parks, wildlife, people and culture made for a fantastic experience. He was completely dedicated to ensuring we had a wonderful time and made every effort to go above and beyond. The entire trip exceeded our expectations at every turn, from the beautiful scenery, the abundant and diverse wildlife and the warm and welcoming people. I would highly recommend Richard and Let's Go Travel for any Uganda trip. Our itinerary focused on Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth and Kibale National Parks and was well designed and executed.

My husband and I spent two weeks in the expert company of Ismail who drove us round five of Uganda's wonderful National Parks. He was meticulous in working to a tight schedule and ensuring that we saw a wealth and variety of wildlife which exceeded all expectations. I would thoroughly recommend this company (Anna's suggest itinerary was spot on) and specifically Ismail for making our trip so memorable.

I was rather dubious of this Company at first. Following my initial enquiry, I received a reply from Marinka Sanc George of Let’s Go Safari, then a mail from Charles Talemwa, also from Let’s Go Safari. Was this the same Company as Let’s Go Travel? To further cloud the issue, the receipt for my down payment came from BCD Travel, whoever they are. Anyway, Charles was always quick to reply, cool and never pushy. Any lingering doubts I had were cleared on arrival at Entebbe airport. Before any of the passenger controls, a charming lady took us in hand and guided us through the different checks and processes, even verifying that the SIM cards purchased had the right amount of GBs. Another lady took us out to meet our guide, Jude, who looked after us for the next two weeks. This was a private tour for two people, dedicated to discovering the southern part of the country. Without being fanatics, we enjoy bird watching and had requested a guide with knowledge of birds. We had not expected to be given one of Uganda’s top birding guides! Jude was incredible in his capacity to identify any bird on the wing or by song. We have used professional bird guides in many countries and none were better than Jude. He is also a very careful driver; not slow, but extremely prudent, which has not always been our experience with bird guides who also drive. He was constantly enthusiastic and we had great fun adding to our list of sightings on the free Birds of Africa app. We saw 175 different species. Jude seemed to know people everywhere, which added to the enjoyment of the tour, especially because some had not seen him in two years, due to COVID. The whole tour ran like clockwork and there were no unpleasant surprises. Should we return to Uganda, I know which guide we’ll want!

Let's go Travel is one of the best travel agency in Uganda after contacting around 20 or so agencies directly ourselves. They seem to cater to a wide range of budgets and needs as we are low budget travellers. Our point of contact Charles was very friendly and helpful and it was so easy to work with him. He was not pushy at all and focused on getting us what we need instead of trying to sell us many things we didn't want (which we experienced a lot with other travel agencies). This is something we valued a lot. Charles was very diligent and made sure everything was done correctly and properly in place so there will be no issues with our trip. Overall, they offer very good products and services at a very good price so you can't go wrong with them!

Group from Canada - Fantastic experience & beyond our expectations!

I escorted a group from Canada and when asked about the highlights of our East Africa safari experience, I honestly don’t know where to start. Every single day offered something new and exciting that we completely didn’t expect. We had a gentleman in our group that pretty much summed it up. On day two, he called me over jokingly with a complaint about the view from his tent. It was obstructed by a herd of elephant. He was beyond words with excitement when he and his wife arrived at their accommodations and looked out. The experience just kept getting better.

Our group had cancelled and rescheduled twice due to Covid and the service and assistance by the owner Alan Dixson and his team was exceptional. In comparison to the many other suppliers we work with, they are one of the BEST.

Paula, our group coordinator, was always quick to respond, detailed, and friendly to work with. In fact, we are working with Paula with other groups because she is that GREAT!

The driver / guides were fun, friendly, knowledgeable and always wanting to please, making our safari experience unforgettable. Cheers to Simon, Alex, Peter, Alfred, Tito and Julius. We hope to see you again soon!

Going on a safari is a trip of a lifetime, don’t be misled by those offering an unbelievable low price. We saw firsthand what a cheap safari looks like. While on a game drive a minivan was stuck in the mud with 8 guests inside. I’m sure they were happy when they booked and saved, but they looked hot and miserable that day. Especially looking at us standing up with open hatched roofs in 8-seater Land Cruisers.

Great City Day Tour

My friend and I had a 24h stopover in Nairobi on our way back home from Zambia. We decided that we should spend the day on a city-tour, so that our day in Nairobi was not wasted. Great personal service and planning

Booking our "safari of a lifetime" was so easy with Esther and Alan at UNIGLOBE Let's Go Travel, they listened to our needs and came up with several options. The hard part was choosing between the amazing properties recommended! As a group of 6 adults all living in different cities we really liked the interactive itinerary link that had all the details of the safari including charter air, hotel and transfers. Great experience in Kenya

The safari tour was amazing - the guides knew the area very well and were very knowledgeable. Our main guide was Morris (sp?), and he was fantastic. He knew detailed information about all animals that we came across, and also shared with us interesting facts about the various areas we drove through. Service throughout the trip was excellent. Communication was good, considering how big of a group we had, and that we were booking from abroad. Our needs were accommodated, and our expectations were met. The trip was well-organized, and guides were flexible, allowing us to change the itinerary slightly when we needed to. While we enjoyed the food at all of the lodges, some of the packed lunches en route could have been better. Overall, we had a good experience and we would book with Lets Go Travel again.

All we asked for, wanted and more!

I started planning our celebratory safari and beach holiday to Kenya for all eleven of our family in 2019 - then Covid struck. 2020 was postponed to 2021 and then we finally made it in 2022. Throughout this long preparatory period, with many changes and challenges due to postponements caused by Covid, Paula Okello, my contact at Let's Go Travel, was brilliant - patient, understanding and extremely helpful as well as being an excellent communicator, nothing phased her. When we finally made it, despite a complicated and involved itinerary, there was not a single hitch and absolutely everything went off perfectly. Our two driver/guides, Simon and Alex, were fantastic. They were extremely pleasant and friendly with a great sense of humour and our five grandchildren just loved being with them. They were also very good drivers and have an in-depth knowledge of birds as well as the animals. The camps, hotels, and internal flights were fantastic and this trip of a lifetime will be forever remembered and not just for the wonder of our safaris and beaches but also for the outstanding, friendly professionalism of the great Let's Go team. So a massive asante sana from our whole family to yours.
