Molecule 01 is unlike anything you will ever wear. It is one of the most mysteriously alluring scents wrapped in simplicity. For us, the phenomenon of Molecule 01 came completely out of left field. When we first encountered it in 2005, our first impression was that we couldn't smell a thing. We weren't sure what to think, but we wore it just as the description urged us to do, and didn't really notice the subtle scent on ourselves. The response from others, however, was undeniable. Each time we wore it, somebody would ask what we were wearing. It was astonishing how predictably this occurred. Molecule 01 is an aroma chemical, which are used in virtually all modern fragrances to recreate scents like jasmine or cedar or a host of other familiar olfactory favorites. This fragrance, however, is the first to to pay homage to Iso E Super, which you probably know as a sweet sandalwood/cedar-like smell. Because Molecule 01 is an aroma chemical rather than a perfume, it behaves differently. You have to wear it to understand it. If you have a bottle Molecule and feel that it smells of nothing, be patient. Keep using it. The velvety woody note is highly sensitive to body chemistry and twists and turns as it evolves, combining with the wearers' own natural scent to create an extraordinary alluring quality. The science of scent is truly on display and is sure to delight those woody fragrance aficionados who love to venture forth and discover something devastatingly unique. Smells insane!

My go to fragrance, smell is hard to describe as it adjusts to your own body but it’s powdery, fresh, clean and gorgeous. I’m always getting asked what perfume I’m wearing, I will never get bored of this beautiful fragrance.

Love the smell but gives me a headache

Really love the smell of this but after wearing it I end up with a terrible headache, had to give it away to a friend.

I keep going back to this perfume, is just too good light and perfect for warmer days. 

Have bought Escentrics Molecules - Molecule 01 before from Cult Beauty.  It is my favourite perfume. It’s subtle. Unique and unforgettable.

I love this perfume! I've been using it since 2009, when I smelt it on someone and had to know what it was. I've had so many compliments on it over the years, and buy this size for my handbag.

Beautiful unique fragrance

Absolutely love Molecule 01. I first discovered this having asked a complete stranger what fragrance they were wearing. I never do this but it was amazing and I had to know its name!! Often can’t smell it on myself but there’s something so special about it. I also just buy the refill size which works perfectly as a stand alone product and is reasonably priced.

Forever favourite

This perfume lives up to the hype for sure! I always get compliments when wearing it and it layers well with most other fragrances. It could also be classed as unisex as it smells different on everyone. This has been a favourite for years and I always have a bottle to hand. Try it out for yourself!

Such an interesting perfume. Smells like alcohol initially when spraying however once it settles on the skin 5 mins later you can’t smell alcohol anymore. I get so many compliments whenever I wear it. Would definitely recommend. This size is great for the handbag and on the go

I love this fragrance so much and it’s great to be able to buy a smaller size refill to put into my metal case. I always reach for this fragrance when I don’t know what to wear. It goes with every occasion. I can always smell it on my clothes the next day. I’ve had lots of compliments when I’m wearing this.

Best scent ever made!

This is the best scent. I always have it in my bag as it pairs well with other scents and enhances their smell. I always get asked what I'm wearing. Because it smells very clean and cedar-like on me, I love using a woodsy body wash to really bring out the scent.

Is the Trans-Siberian Railway expensive?

Before starting on your Trans-Siberian Railway adventure you naturally want to know what the entire trip will cost. Although this sounds like a simple question, it is pretty difficult to answer. The Trans-Siberian Railway price of travel depends on the following factors:

• Which travel class do I want to use? The price for a first class ticket is about three times the price of a 3rd class ticket
• Am I willing to buy the tickets myself and assume responsibility for the organisation of the trip?
• How many stopovers do I want to make? The more breaks, the higher the total price.
• What sort of accommodation do I want? Will it be a luxury hotel or will a hostel dormitory be sufficient?
• What tours and excursions would I like to go on?
• What is the current exchange rate for rubles?

Basically, everything from a luxury to a budget holiday is available. If you buy yourself a 3rd Class nonstop ticket at the counter, a few hundred Euros will cover the price. All you will experience is a week on the Trans-Siberian train and will see nothing of the cities on the way. There is, however, any amount of room for upward expansion. Everyone makes different choices about which aspects they are willing to spend money on. I personally prefer to save money on accommodation and railcar class, visit as many cities and do as many trips as possible. To enable better classification of your travel expenses I have contrasted two typical traveler types. In the third column you can calculate the total cost of your own journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Please keep in mind that these are only rough estimations and not exact prices.

The all-in costs seem fairly high at first. However, they cover everything and it is quite a long journey taking four weeks. Many people forget to consider that when looking at the list. We should also deduct the running costs for food and leisure at home. I think most visitors to this page will classify themselves somewhere between the two categories, that is around the € 2,000 – € 2,500 range. When comparing these prices with other travel packages, you get the impression that it is hardly worthwhile travelling individually on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Please keep in mind that most packages last no more than 14 days and you are herded like cattle through the most beautiful locations.

If you spend less time on the Trans-Siberian Railway you will, of course, pay less. I chose this particular travel length because I prefer not to do things by halves. If you fulfill your dream of travelling on the Trans-Siberian Railway, enjoy it and don’t rush things. But it’s up to you, of course. Try playing around with the form a bit to find the appropriate price for your trip.
